The Best Russian Restaurants In San Francisco

"Europa Plus is located on Geary and despite competing with other nearby markets, it stands out with its endless rows of food to wander through. Prices are reasonable and the unique variety of Russian products - with everything from sunflower seeds and Russian ice cream to a huge selection of kielbasa and candy - makes it a great place to check out, regardless if you’re looking for something super specific or just want to discover a new treat to take home." - aida agayeva

Fantastic store with great prices, friendly staff, and a wide range of products. Highly recommended!

Some of these reviews are racist. Do not pay attention to them. Others are ignorant and complain about a "smell" because they aren't used to fermented foods or fish. They have a great selection of exotic imported foods that taste really good that you won't be able to find in your local safeway. I love their ice cream cones called "Dadu" they have such a great creamy flavor! Also they have 3 kinds of feta cheese. So much caviar and fish options. Lots of candy and cookies. If you don't like Russian people, just stay out of this store with your ignorance.

We like to come here to get the awesome pressed bacon and headcheeses that you don't typically see in a lot of places. They have a very interesting selection of dried meats. They also have a good selection of everyday kitchen items and other Russian goods as well for a good price.

Good place! Dolls, books and great prices for groceries. Cakes don’t have too much sugar and staff looks after you.

They have all the proper Russian/Eastern Europe food here and more, even excellent medovik by the slice, cured fish or Bashkir honey. Love it!

I was shocked how unsanitary this place looked. Old and beaten shelving units, dark tight and crooked aisles, barely running refrigerators. Very unpleasant smell of something sour and not really fresh. I bought a few cheesecake bars and when i brought them home their wrapping still had that nasty smell. They have not bad selection of grocery though. Staff is friendly and helpful but this place DO NEED a good general cleaning!

disappointed. Bought some sour cherries for a cake. On the shelf it says $3.29 but then they charged me $5.39 When I asked them about it and showed them the price on the shelf the response was that the person who is in charge of changing the prices on the shelf is sick…. really?

They are ok, unfortunately most of imported goods are imported from the terrorist state (Russia). Good prices on US and Canada produced farmers cheese. they take Apple pay
