"Not all bowls need be breakfast or light lunch material. For soulful, filling, farm-to-fork bowls that can dress up for dinner, Eve in Fremont might be just what the doctor ordered. Opt for chilled beef vermicelli topped with pungent, Southeast Asian-inflected aromatics, or load up ancient grains with nuts, seeds, greens and optional proteins in the Eve Hot Bowl. This time around the meal was just average. I got very excited by the description of the meal on the menu and the last time I came it was amazing. This time the taste did not meet my expectations. Everything just seemed very plain and salt was the main flavor I noticed. I think the cocktail was my favorite and best drink I've had in a while. :) the price was also a lot for the quantity AND quality.

Google
Great little spot with an open clear glass view of the street. Nice assortment of great cocktails. Plus they have kombucha. Bone broth was excellent- I had two. Perfect for a sore throat. Fresh baked bread. A lot of vegetarian options so if that’s your thing, this place is for you.

Best bone broth I have ever had. I skipped dessert and had a second cup! The restaurant is mostly gluten free which is great for celiacs. The staff were friendly and described the food in a way I haven't heard before, which I really enjoyed. The Korean fried chicken was lovely. The chicken was crispy and the meat was really high quality and juicy. Defs coming back for all the broth and fried chicken.

We came on a Monday at 5:45 and there was no wait. We didn’t get an appetizer but I did get the hot bowl with tofu which was delicious, and my friend got the crab noodles which was also amazing! Portions were good, definitely don’t need to spend the money on the apps. We also got dessert which was an incredible peach olive oil cake. Such a cute ambience in this restaurant.

Google
Enjoyed the bison burger with homemade chips and hot bowl with chicken - very substantial. Cost is about $30 US for entree.

Google
Interesting bar and cafe with organic food. Service was friendly but food took a while. Flavors are new and interesting. I think the dishes are good but my eggs were a bit runny and the pastrami was tough making it hard to eat since it wouldn't stay together. I came away with a mediocre experience but It wasn't terrible so maybe it was just an off day or time. Also for the hefty price i expected a bit better.

Google
Cute atmosphere and good food presentation. The food was decently expensive and left us hungry after. The brunch was overall good, but the potatoes were just a little too thick to eat with just ketchup. They were out of chicken, tonic water and steak sauce. The menu was a little misleading as it didn’t inform us that Sunday doesn’t have lunch, only brunch (which limits the options). The steak was cooked well, as were the scrambled eggs. As you can see in my last photo, the bathroom left a lot to be desired.

Google
Wonderful food and service during Seattle Restaurant Week 2022. Apps on the menu includes a wonderful Mezze plate and a nice version of chips and dip. Brussel Sprouts with Miso and lemon are worth the trip to stop by and a nice drink program compliments the menu. It's a small space, reservations in advance are recommended!

Parth S.

Yelp
The food is so tasty and uses local ingredients! They use unique combinations of ingredients that I wouldn't think to put together and everything tasted phenomenal. It's a small, intimate restaurant and I'd recommend coming with a small group of 2-4 people. They have pretty fast service and they're super attentive. I'll definitely be back again!

Yelp
BUYER BEWARE. I've resisted posting this review for a while. Previously loved this spot. Visited again with our daughter and split the tab with her. I put the entire 20% tip on my card. My daughter then (upon getting her credit card statement) spotted that a tip had been added to her charge by someone at the restaurant (keep in mind that she had clearly written in a zero tip since I had covered it on my card). Upon calling the restaurant to point out this fraud the manager on duty gave some lame excuse, but no apology. PLEASE double check your credit card statement if you dine at Eve. Sad.

Yelp
Eve was all around fantastic, and I would highly recommend! The restaurant is in a prime location in the heart of Fremont. It was easy to make a reservation online, and when I called to modify the reservation last minute, they were accommodating. The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated. I ordered the POG Shrub and the Crab Noodles- both were tasty. I also tried my friend's dish, the Bavette, and we ordered the Panna Cotta for dessert- these two items were delicious, and I would order them again!

Yelp
Have now been here a few times and covered most of the menu. The food here is wonderful, esp. the ancient grains hot bowl. My goodness. Can't say enough about that dish. Also love the cauliflower appetizer. The vibe they managed to architect inside this cute space is outstanding.

Marie R.

Yelp
My friend wanted to go here for her bday. The service was not bad, but it wasn't great either. Same with the food. I got the mushroom Campanelle. It was ok, but it's easily forgettable. It's one of those dishes where you ask yourself why you're paying about $30, plus parking and gas, for something that you can throw together. My friend got the bibimbap and I had a taste. I was also severely unimpressed. Long story short: it's ok. As in forgettable, negligible, unimpressive.

Ami Y.

Yelp
Six of us went to get dinner here on a Friday night. My friend reserved a spot for six. I arrived about 40 minutes late but the place wasn't full so I had no issue getting in. I had the market fish, which was a white fish that I can't remember the name, with quinoa and some veggies for $36. For the amount of food I thought it was kind of pricey. The dish tasted pretty good! There are other entrees you can get for under $30, though. We shared chocolate panna cotta and a buckwheat cake, which were both good but average. The restaurant has nice intimate vibes and it's not too loud so it would be good for dates as well.

Yelp
**vegetarian review** I went to eve Fremont during Seattle restaurant week. I got the kale salad, eve bowl and chocolate pudding. Needless to say everything was delicious!!! The kale salad had incredible dressing. The hot eve bowl - ah I can eat it again and again and again. To be honest I didn't care about the pudding too much because the savory food was just so so delicious! I would go back for the hot eve bowl anytime of the day!

Rachana R.

Yelp
One of the best dinners I've had in a long time! I'd highly recommend everything I ate here. The silly rabbit cocktail was super unique and I actually felt that it was worth the price. The kimchi chicken sandwich was so crispy and flavorful, they had just fried it and immediately brought it out to the table so it was still very hot. Loved the large triangle shaped rice noodles in the crab noodle dish. Golden milk pudding was not too sweet and had a great texture. The decor and lighting in the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing and great for a date night or any special occasion. Would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing people. A truly 'don't miss' location in Seattle and in an excellent location with a great vibe to boot.

Foodie M.

Yelp
Probably one of the worst food I have had in a very long time. Bland, terrible plating, and I think mostly uncooked too. Hoping I don't fall sick

Susie C.

Yelp
I like to get takeout from Eve during Seattle Restaurant Weeks since they have a really good option of 3 courses for $35. This time I got the kale salad, crab noodles and matcha olive oil cake. Last time I remembered that my meal was delicious but kind of left me still a bit hungry. This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised with the great portion sizes. It may have been the items I ordered last time versus this time (I had more carbs this time haha!). I really like Asian fusion flavors that are executed with excellent cooking, and that is exactly what Eve is. The kale salad wasn't really Asian fusion at all, but the pistachio flavor came out beautifully and added a unique spin to an elegant salad that might have felt a bit ordinary otherwise. The crab noodles could have used more crab, but I enjoyed the dish overall. The flavor was more subtle than I expected, but I could taste an elegant Asian note overall. The dessert was top-notch, classic of any high-end fine dining establishment. There were many elements that played with textures and flavors that complimented each other in the end to create one cohesive work of art. So this review is mainly for their restaurant week menus because otherwise, I find the prices at eve a bit high for an every day meal. I would only order an entree at the normal prices (but I would do it happily and dream of having 3 courses haha). Next restaurant week, I plan to dine in person, as I imagine that will only elevate the whole experience! The whole vibe is elegant and romantic (though a bit dark in terms of lighting).

Yelp
Came here for dinner pre-COVID and it was fantastic! The restaurant itself is very cozy and welcoming- an ideal spot for those rainy Seattle days. Service was fast and friendly. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and knowledgeable as well. Ordered the pork chop (I think it was a seasonal special?) and it was AMAZING. Great flavor and you can tell the ingredients were quality. I like that their food has a very genuine feel. They aren't trying to be anyone else and they mix ingredients in unique ways (ex. ube with salmon). I noticed on their website that they're doing indoor seating but will have their windows open at all times so I would be comfortable coming and sitting by a window. I love this spot and encourage you to stop by!

Yelp
Tried out Eve for Seattle Restaurant Week, and it was such a good choice! Parking can be hard to find because it's in the heart of Fremont but there's a paid parking lot right next to it for convenience. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and the crab noodle dish! I still think about that dish all the time.

Yelp
Stop reading and start booking. Eve rocks. The staff, incredible. The chef, a gem! Threw a little party here recently for a large group. To say that they knocked it out if the park is an understatement. Food was all delicious, and the cocktails made me think I should never try to make my own ever again. I got the Leo Rising which was perfect and started a whole conversation about zodiacs at the table. I hope to come out more frequently and wish the whole team lots of success! Keep it up, please? :)

Marina B.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant with a pretty interior and a nice ambience. We always get their Onion Jam Labneh with veggie Chips which is super yummy and highly addictive :D The Eve Hot Bowl is my go-to oder. Just a big bowl of yummy, healthy goodness. My friend had their bibimbap which looks great, too! Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the vegan broth bowl, as I'm looking for a more flavorful broth. Their matcha ice cream however is a treat! Perfect way to wrap up a lovely dining experience.

Chris J.

Yelp
Enjoyed this place for lunch and had ginger kombucha and their eve bowl w avocado and chicken. It was delicious and came out piping hot. Service was just okay however, so I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 for that.

Yelp
A very overdue review from 2020 Seattle Restaurant Week! As a frequent Fremont wanderer, I was glad to have discovered Eve for SRW since apparently I'd been walking past it for years. Eve is a cozy spot with dim, warm lighting and a fascinating open kitchen that contribute to its welcoming ambiance. For our SRW meal, we started with the Pozole (vegan soup of the day) & Onion Jam Lebnah & Piadina. A vegan take on pozole was very interesting and well done, and the Onion Jam Lebnah & Piadina is something I'd order again and again. I chose the Deep Sea Red Crab Noodles as my entree and the BF chose the Pork Osso Bucco. Both were delicious, but I definitely preferred mine over his, while he preferred his over mine *shrug*. I appreciated the generous portion of crab and the new, but still slightly familiar flavors of the noodles. To cap it off, I had the Bread Pudding & BF the Brown Butter Panna Cotta. The slightly crispy sides of the bread pudding were a textural wonderland, and had me coming back for more! All in all, it was a fabulous meal to kickoff 2020 SRW and to actually dine in for a change while we could.

Yelp
Yesterday was my second time at Eve and boy am I happy my team and I chose to come back here for our monthly team lunch! From the food to the service to the overall vibe, this restaurant really delivers! It's located in the central Fremont area, super close to the Google campus, Tableau and the Fremont bridge. We came around 11:40am, just in time for lunch and were seated right away. We were one of the first ones there but it quickly filled up as lunch hour started. Most of us ordered the daily shrub (kind of like kombucha), which had a kick of jalapeño, and was super delicious! They do different shrub specials so I would recommend giving it a try, especially if you enjoy kombucha! We ordered the spread to start, which is their appetizer/small bites, consisting of baguette and/or veggies (we ordered both!) and 3 sides to choose from. We chose the black garlic hummus, cashew cheese and pickled veggies, and then some butter for the bread of course :) Both the spreads were so delicious! It truly tasted fresh and how innovative! The baguette was also toasted and warm, which made the butter melt and even that much tastier. The veggies we got were also really good - it included a variety of different types such as peppers, asparagus, radish and cucumbers. Definitely recommend trying this appetizer, it's perfect for sharing! For the entree I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with added avocado (+$4) and had the side salad as my side (it comes with that or veggie chips) which is what I got the first time I came as well. It didn't disappoint this time around either, this dish is absolutely AMAZING!! For what you pay, you really get the value - in taste, quantity and quality! The side salad had a really good vinaigrette and the bacon on the burger was crispy and chicken just perfectly cooked! There was also a decent amount of avocado on the burger, which was nice since it's $4 extra so you definitely get what you pay! Overall, I loved the experience, our waitress was awesome, super knowledgeable, the food was delicious! Can't wait to come back and try something new on the menu :)

Leela S.

Yelp
Veryyy good. Such a nice vibe and friendly service. I got the eve grain bowl with tofu and it was delicious. The dressing was great! Other people in my party got the tofu noodles (excellent) and the mushroom Campanelle (also great but I'm personally not as big of a pasta fan). For dessert we tried the matcha olive oil cake and it was flavorful without being overly sweet. I would definitely come again!

Lexi J.

Yelp
the food was pretty good and tasted fresh. the broccolini had a nice smoky flavor, but the brussel sprouts seemed a little undercooked. the service was really good as they helped us decide on cocktails and boxed up our leftovers for us. we walked in without a reservation and was able to get a table since it was earlier in the evening but probably better to make a reservation beforehand :)

Andrea S.

Yelp
A little hard to find parking, so I would recommend the pay to park lot next to the building for convenience. Very cute and contemporary restaurant, good for a date night or sharing appetizers with a friend.

Paulina H.

Yelp
Went to Eve Fremont for brunch on a Saturday sunny morning. The environment is amazing and it is bright inside because of the sunlight. Waitress are really sweet, and fill our water from time to time. I ordered Bibimbap, and I think this dish was pretty good, well seasoned, chicken wasn't dry. I love sautéed mushrooms the most, it was fresh and taste amazing. However, the soft boiled egg was a little over cooked. Also, I don't think edamame match with this dish, even though edamame made the dish look pretty and colorful, it is better if you eat separately. Ratings: Environment: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5

Jacqueline D.

Yelp
Awesome food, service, and vibes! Eve Fremont is a vegetable focused restaurant that makes the veggies the stars of the dish. This does *not* mean vegetarian.... the meats were also excellent flavors!!! Came here for brunch with a friend and had a great experience. We ordered the monthly herb mimosas - aka watermelon thai basil with Prosecco. O M G this was addicting and delicious and so fresh. Wow. I'm so impressed by this mimosa, and it was the perfect brunch drink. My friend ordered the Benedict, while I ordered the Tostada. Beautifully bright dishes that didn't weigh me down after (though I was very full!!!!). Delicious flavors. Great balances of flavors, textures.... ahhhhhh. Loved it. We also had such a problem choosing what to order because all of the options seemed so unique and yummy and thoughtful. Our server was so friendly and helpful, it really brightened our Sunday. It's a little pricey here, but it was definitely worth it. I'll try and come back soon and try more food and try their dinners. Thanks Eve Fremont for an awesome Sunday brunch!

Mustafa T.

Yelp
Never had a bad experience here. Friendly staff, great cocktails, and great food. Glad they survived the pandemic and haven't changed a bit.

Jenny C.

Yelp
Not coming back again. I walked in at the same time as another couple at 5pm into an empty restaurant. They did not have a reservation and neither did I. She sat them in a prime spot near the window and proceeded to seat me at the tablet closest to the bathroom. The table where you would be looking at the bathroom door open/close all night. I asked her if there were other tables available and she said no. They were reserved for the night. How did the couple in front of me get such a drastically better table than me even though we both did not have reservations? Onto the food. Small menu that's heavily focused on vegetables which is not a bad thing if prepared properly. $4 to add avocado to a salad? Huge markup. Have you seen what avocados are going for at the grocery store? My friend got 1/2 avocado for $4. So that means they charge $8 per avocado. I understand that getting things in a restaurant is more expensive but this is just ridiculous. I ordered the bison burger with a side salad. The burger was good. It was meaty since it included 8 oz of meat. The salad was okay. Good dressing but the salad itself did not have much color, crunch or texture. My friend ordered the grilled and raw vegetable plate + avocado + chicken. She told the server she doesn't eat beets and guess what came on the vegetable plate. So much for "writing down" the food avoidances. Add injury to insult, the vegetables were grilled to a black char. The skin on this pepper she was eating was completely black and looked carcinogenic. Her broccolini was bitter. The chicken was good though. Our server came by once to ask how the food was and then to give us the check. She never refilled our waters even though our glasses were empty for a long time and we were still chatting. At the table right next to us, she was much more attentive. She brought a bottle of water over, refilled it several times and checked on them a lot more. Guess what? This couple ordered, alcohol, appetizers and entrees so she knew she was going to get a better tip over there. The only person who asked if we needed more water was this other person as she was clearing the table next to us, she looked and saw our poor empty water glasses. Tip #1: Make a reservation and ask to not sit next to the bathroom Tip #2: Order more food for better service. Tip #3: Ask for a bottle of water because they will selectively refill your water.

Dennis D.

Yelp
Eve is one those hip 'concept' restaurants with a wordy menu that's probably meant to attract the brunch crowd. Seriously. Check out the menu. Their 'bone broth' reads as "nourishing, mineral enriched, immunity boosting elixer (ask server for details)." What a lovely description. I came here for dinner on a late Saturday evening when there was pretty much nobody in the restaurant because it's still early. People really start to come in around 7pm. I heard the Eve Bison Burger is a popular item. It's not bad. By no means was it a fancy cutesy-looking burger. I think they did good job cooking it to be just right- some of the red juices from the meat were running onto my fingers. I also had the Eve Hot Bowl, which basically a vegan-friendly grain bowl, and you can add meat or egg for a little extra. Also not bad. Even though this neighborhood is pretty vanilla and gluten-free, I think Fremont has some alright places to venture out to. Eve didn't really blow me away, but the food is alright. The menu might seem expensive, but that's just the price of doing business in Seattle, especially this particular area.

Madison S.

Yelp
To start, the atmosphere: this spot has gorgeous mood lighting, plants, a cute bar and an intimate feel. Great for a date night! We went for seattle restaurant week. We got the crab pasta, pork dish, baguette starters, cranberry bread pudding and pumpkin blonde. The best dish was the cranberry bread pudding (random!). It was warm and soft and tasted delicious. It's COVID right now so I'm generous with stars :) 4 stars for a great date night! The flavors of the dishes here were fun and interesting. A fun spot to try something different! I probably won't be a regular, but thought this was a cute spot.

Amber P.

Yelp
Bimbimbap bowl = 4.5 stars! (I only wish that the non-meat option was something other than tofu.) Coffee cake = 5 stars!!!

Rose A.

Yelp
Came for dinner and loved dining at Eve. Lots of options for vegetarians and seasonal ingredients! Super tasty salads, pastas, and noodle dishes. Dessert was delightful, as were the cocktails and service. Thank you, would love to come back soon!

Liz S.

Yelp
I arrived a little before 5:30 on a Wednesday to take advantage of the happy hour menu. There were a few couples at the bar, as well as two to three tables occupied at the time. I chose a seat at the bar and looked around the chic and bright, yet cozy room. For drinks I went with a glass of the HH bubbles ($7) and decided to go with the Eve Hot Bowl ($18) for food... not part of HH but it sounded too darn good and I needed a filling plant-based option. My bowl was comprised of ancient grains, nuts and seeds, seasonal veggies (delicata squash yay!), dandelion greens? and a sesame vinaigrette. I think. It was indeed hot (temp wise) and full of flavor. I loved all the different textures. My only complaint is that it was a tad too salty for my taste, although I still enjoyed it. Prices are a bit steep so take advantage of happy hour eats if you can, or just treat yourself from time to time. My bartender/server was nice and helpful, plus there was some interesting people watching from my corner of the room. I'm sure it fills up later in the evening so show up early or just plan accordingly.

Jaipreet S.

Yelp
Great decor and interiors. Okay cocktails. Diverse food menu with large portions that tasted great, especially all the Korean-fusion items.

Jaclyn F.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Eve for awhile and I'm happy I was finally able to go during Restaurant Week. The food was all very delicious and pretty decently sized. I don't think I would come back - just because the food seems over priced for what it is - but I do think it all tasted very good. It's a great spot for a date night or special occasion.

Jaime F.

Yelp
Wow. Everything was phenomenal. Already planning my next trip there! We got seated immediately, our server was warm and helpful as it was our first time dining there. We started with the black garlic hummus & flatbread. It was so delicious, the bread was warm and paired very well. Both of us got the Eve hot bowl (one with avocado and a perfectly poached egg, one with grilled flank steak). 10/10 it was the perfect portion, all of the vegetables worked well together and the broth was delicious. We also shared the roasted squash salad, it was good but not amazing. Heavy-handed with the dressing, and the delicata was a bit undercooked. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Alisha G.

Yelp
Ridiculously delicious. So many restaurants have fallen behind because of Covid, and my heart goes out to them. But Eve...they have flourished. I haven't been back here in probably 3 years, but was so pleasantly surprised tonight to find the quality at the same level (or better?) than before. We sat at the bar and had wine and dinner, followed by dessert and amaro. The pork chop is So. Good. Tender, perfectly dressed, accompanied by perfectly charred crispy potatoes. I have a new stupid coconut allergy, so they accommodated me and served the (gluten free!!!) olive oil cake with fresh coconut-free whipped cream and a side of preserves. Absolutely spectacular. I have dreams of making that olive oil cake at home but let's be honest...I'll probably just come back here. Oh bonus!!! 2 people ate appetizers, dinner and dessert and each drank wine and shared an Amaro for less than $200. Possibly the first time this has happened for us in like 3 years.

Xonatia L.

Yelp
Such a cute spot for dinner. I really enjoyed my dinner here, especially the crab noodles and spring fettuccine. Everything was bright and fresh.

Jamie P.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious meal last night at Eve. The service was wonderful as well. The colors and flavors & freshness of everything we tried made my whole night. The halibut, the plum burrata, the orchiaetta pasta, & let's not forget the fresh heavenly bread! Or the slippery Rabbit drinks that took you on a whole other flavorful journey. Highly recommend. Will be back!

Kristina G.

Yelp
Phenomenal flavors and fresh seasonal ingredients. Have been twice and ordered at least half a dozen dishes - all have been delicious. The service also friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. The vibe (ambiance) of the restaurant is also wonderful.

Jill B.

Yelp
This lovely restaurant was recommended to me by a local for a quick trip to Seattle. The decor is gorgeous and candlelit. From the minute you walk in it feels warm and inviting. The service, ambience and incredible food made it one of our top 10 meals. Start with the bone broth- it's magical!

Adolfo A.

Yelp
Remember that scene in Sister Act 2 where they sang "Oh Happy Day" and the one kid starts all soft and unsure? Then they do that "La,la,la,la,la,la,la" thing. Then all of a sudden he breaks it down and you feel like jumpin off your couch in the living room to sing and clap and dance with him? That's legit what happened when I got my food home from Eve. If you're looking for food church, this is it. Incredible, tasty, slightly bougie food and perfect portions. The little details got me too. Since the start of COVID you know how you try to figure out how to reheat your fully prepared food so that it sort of resembles what it would have tasted like at the restaurant? THEY HAND-WRITE PREFERRED REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOXES! Y'all I can't with the thoughtfulness of this place! Things I ate: Bison burger: I hate fruit and kale and most pretentious and disingenuous-ass ingredients on burgers. This one has pickled apple and kale and a the most perfect mustard and IT. IS. PHENOMENAL. One of the most remarkable burgers I've had. The taro chips were fire too. Quinoa/squash salad: A bowl of all the most complementary flavors and textures. Little surprises every bite you get. Bread pudding & the vegan pumpkin blondie: This is the crescendo where that kid in Sister Act 2 hits that note that makes you yell "oh damn!". Like as if dinner wasn't already amazing, dessert had me improvising song lyrics about it. This is my new favorite place. Go have yourself a religious experience at Eve.

S.G. P.

Yelp
Food: I ordered the eggs kale florentine (house made seeded rye English muffin, mustard butter, onions, kale, za'atar roasted butternut squash, poached eggs plus a tasty side salad dressed with something that tasted similar to Caesar?) and Mike ordered the spicy potato pancake (vegan chorizo, sauteed onions, watercress, avocado, cumin yogurt, etc.). Both of our dishes were four star excellent. Staff: Friendly, polite, efficient. Atmosphere: Great. The vibe was eclectic, a mix of modern and vintage, just a cool place all around. We came for brunch on Sunday at around 11 a.m. and the place wasn't too busy, we were seated right away.

Mike D.

Yelp
Eve Fremont is truly a gem. Great vibe and super friendly service. It can be a little loud with the road noise and the windows open but that's par for the course in the area. The food is fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious, and Eve is so gracious and accommodating with our food allergies. Have been a few times and will definitely be back!

Donna A.

Yelp
I meet friends here once a month. We always just order appetizers, mostly vegetables, and everything is always delicious. Even when they change the recipe slightly (which the do fairly regularly) it's still delicious. The broccolini is my favorite.

Hanna S.

Yelp
The warm chicken bowl is fantastic. The menu has many things whether you are vegetarian or meat eater. Healthy, a little inventive, and excellent straightforward and simple decor. They bring you the receipt in book. Some customers say there's a message in which book they bring it to you in. We had a little bobble in our order. They brought a salad instead of the chips. Then they said they would take our plate away but we didn't want to wait so that one person would have their warm bowl and the other person would have nothing. Then they said they would charge us for a side of chips. We thought that was odd since it was their mistake. The waitress actually brought us the chips and said of course this is on us. So since they recognize this issue , Had great food, they get five stars.

Leslie F.

Yelp
Eve Fremont is one of the places I frequent in Seattle. I have craved the spicy crab since my last visit and the current rotation of pickled veggies in it made it even better than I remembered. Craving satisfied! I always get the same thing, but I've never experienced someone we've gone with not liking their meal here. Hubby always remarks that he forgets how good the food is and we clean our plates.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Our party of 10 came here on a Friday night for a birthday dinner. The ambience and setting is super chic and fit well for the event. The restaurant is small but was full and there were 2 waitresses that I could see. The cocktails we ordered were good. The London fog was very interesting and fun. Don't forget it comes with creamer. The waitress set it down on the table but didn't mention it at all so I missed it until my drink was basically empty. Which brings me to the biggest bummer of the whole night. The service was extremely slow and rude. Many times I would make eye contact with the waitress only to have her give me the "one-finger signal" only to have her never come. We were not even spoken to until we finally flagged someone down after waiting 20 minutes after being seated. That was super upsetting. She tried to first only take drink orders. But by the 20 minutes mark, yes, we were also ready to order. Honestly our food came out probably faster that the amount of time we had to wait to be looked at. Many at the table got the Bison burger which was a bit overly greasy, so get that side salad with it instead of the chips. The meat was slightly game-y but in a good way and very flavorful, tender and cooked well. Just a bit overly greasy. Also go the broccolini and fried cauliflower. Would HIGHLY recommend the broccolini over the fried cauliflower. The cauliflower was again overly greasy and lacked flavor. Whereas the broccolini was super tasty, fresh and tender-with-a-bite. We brought in 4 mini cheesecakes to share and were charged a cake cutting fee of $20. Not too expensive but something to note. Overall, I think the food is decent (4/5), drinks (4/5) good but service was just a huge huge disappointment (0/5). No greeting, no explanations, no attentiveness and pretty much no service without being flagged down. Most of us wanted to order 4-5 rounds of drinks but could only get in 1-2 orders thru the whole night. Knowing that a lot of the profit comes from drinks, this seems honestly bad for the business. It was bad enough that I would have only tipped the minimum based on performance but they imposed the 20% mandatory tip for large parties. Which makes me wonder? Did they treat us poorly because they knew they would make their tip either way?

Yelp
This is the kind of place you walk out of feeling angry and cheated because you've just paid over $40 for a lunch of what is essentially terrible diet food. "Clean, wholesome eating" in this context, is code for random "healthy" "power" foods mixed together in tiny portions that leave you wanting. Do not go here if you are very hungry because you will walk out hangry. The lime cilantro shrub is literally one of, if not the worst things I have ever had to drink in my life. It tasted like apple cider vinegar was undrinkable. I don't think there was any sweetener in this drink. So it just tasted like acid (lime) + acid (vinegar) and made my stomach hurt, even with just a couple sips. It was $5, thanks. Also had the eggplant wrap. The portions were underwhelming, like the wrap was as thick as a skinny pickle. The actual pieces of grilled eggplant, when I got some, was lovely. But the wrap also had yogurt, tomato, and pickled onions AKA ACID ACID and MORE ACID. The side salad was literally whole pieces of lettuce over dressing in a bland tahini sauce. I couldn't even finish that, either. No protein or fat in this dish, so it's not balance or satisfying, just upsetting. $14. Last, had the poke bowl. The little plump gems of tuna were wonderful, but the bizarre concoction of the rest of the bowl was disappointing, too. It has a ponzu sauce (citrus), pickled veggies (mostly giant bits of cauliflower) and kimchi.... say it with me ACID, ACID, ACID. $16. It was an excruciating meal. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Just depressing, badly flavored food... like why? There was just nothing interesting happening with flavor, just one note, ACID; no interesting texture or color... just bad "healthy" cooking for the "I'm not on a diet but I only eat clean" crowd. Not only that, but it's named after Eve, the first woman in Abrahamic religious traditions. That gendered concept, plus the type of food being served, reads to me, again, as let's control your body. This place is about denial and scarcity, not pleasure or abundance or indulgence or making your own decisions. UGH. This place deeply angers me. Next.

Yelp
I love coming here for happy hour! The cocktails and wine selection are great and the staff is attentive and friendly. When it's in season, the happy hour clams with bread and butter is to die for (please bring it back next season!!!!). I LOVE the eve hot bowl anytime of day. I've had it for brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner... You cannot go wrong with that choice. The other entrees are a little expensive for dinner and I feel that most don't quite live up to the price. Overall, this is a wonderful place for drinks and a snack. Enjoy!

Yelp
9 of us for a birthday and we did totally enjoy our dinner! It really was outstanding ! I can not stop thinking about the eve goddess spread! I brought some home cause we had left overs and I wish I could have it in my fridge everyday! The goat butter amazing! I really appreciate that I was able to easily eat off the menu with all of my food allergies. My parents are very "boring" eaters , not very open minded to new foods.....and they were so impressed with the food. They never have had sun chokes and loved them . The goat butter my dad couldn't get enough. He also said his steak was one of the best he has ever had. Your staff was awesome and it was nice to have a choice of wines that didn't kill my wallet. Happy hour is on my mind :)

Yelp
Overall: 1 star. Terrible service. And I mean terrible; the wait staff had no idea what the food was, nor anything about the wine or beer they were serving. Not recommend. Would not come back even if someone else was treating. Service: 1 star. It's important that you know your dishes-- both what is on the menu and how the dishes are prepared. Also, if you don't know much about wine and grapes; that's fine-- just don't pretend. Food: 3 stars. The food was mediocre at best. Uninspiring; left wanting. The same ordinary ingredients used in most of the dishes. Whole Foods prepared hot options offered more seasonal options. Environment: 4 starts. The environment was actually quite nice.
