Good place for appetizers and a quick drink . The hummus board was great and the food was fresh. Even Tide is more quaint since it’s tucked away from neighboring NC coast and other restaurants. Good view on the water.. the only reason I gave it four and not five stars because the outside patio could be cuter with plants and pops of color. It’s a drab brown and the cobwebs/dirt in corners negatively affected the aesthetics .. the inside is bright, white, clean and a cute cottage feel.

Really enjoyed the ambiance and wonderful staff. The live music made the experience even better. Great drink selection and menu. The Bavarian pretzel was fantastic. Will definitely be back!

My all time FAVORITE restaurant! We love Eventide. Amazing ambiance, food, wine, beer, and of course service. Best place to watch the sunset. Also amazing for lunch or brunch! We always always come here when we are in town. Highly recommend!

Fresh deli style sandwiches; refreshing on a sweltering hot day!

Had a great afternoon relaxing on the deck with family and enjoying the wonderful food . Service was spot on great wine menu to choose from. Went back the following day with more family and was not disappointed. I will give a shout out to our server Courtney she was fabulous funny and keep the vibe going

Such a cute spot for a quick bite with a great atmosphere. The decor/design of each part of this was amazing, even the bathroom! My husband and I split 2 sandwiches and the snack trio, and our child got the kids charcuterie board which was absolutely adorable. Would definitely recommend either for a dinner al fresco or just to grab a snack and drink. Service was friendly and welcoming.

We loved our happy hour here. Great views for a sunset by the water and their wine list is clearly selected with intent. Charcuterie, salads and sandwiches-really something for everyone. 10/10 will be back.

This place is a gem. We absolutely loved everything we had that day. Their beer and wine selection is great and the food is amazing. We ordered a charcuterie platter for the kids, the goat cheese salad, the chicken salad sandwich (the best we ever had) and the veggie sandwich with avocado. The service is also incredible, the seating area outside is cozy, and the views of the sound in the afternoon are just the perfect complement to the experience. We have found another fantastic restaurant to always visit while in town.

LOVE Eventide! We were looking for a lunch spot by the water and it was perfect. The Eventide restaurant has it all - views, drinks, great food. The staff were also very friendly. We tried the chicken salad sandwich and the Italian sandwich and both were tasty! The kids cheese plate was super cute. The price was very fair in my opinion, and the wine pours were very generous lol can't wait to be back!

Beautiful spot situated right on the Duck boardwalk facing the water. It's more of a lunch/charcuterie spot, with lots of sandwiches and spreads to choose from along with a variety of beer and wines by the bottle or glass. There's no server service here, just head right up to the counter and place your order. This place gets busy but not packed like other boardwalk spots which is pretty nice. We've never had a problem scoring a table here despite the limited seating options (just a few outdoor tables and 2-3 small booths in the interior. On my last visit here we opted for a bottle of Rose from France which was perfect for the weather. We went with the pimento cheese board which featured an entire soft pretzel that came out hot and delicious, along with their hummus board which featured more traditional offerings like pita and cucumbers with artichoke hearts. I will say this place is probably not great for picky eaters or folks who like their sandwiches plain. Everything here is a little unique and inventive, but that's what makes it special.

Eventide features mouthwatering and delicious food, great service, and picturesque views. Ordering was a breeze, and the staff encountered were pleasant and helpful. Our food was presented nicely and tasted amazing - fresh ingredients, full of flavor and made to perfection. I recommend trying one of their cheese boards and getting the cheddar cheese! You must try the Italian sandwich (salami, prosciutto, capicola, mozzarella, roasted red pepper, olive tapenade, mixed greens, o & v, on baguette)! There's plenty of seating on the deck overlooking the water and nearby shops which add to the great experience you'll get at Eventide. Looking forward to another visit next time we are in OBX.

The food, wine, beer and atmosphere is fantastic. Great place to enjoy a drink, music and sunset with a loved one. The staff were amazing and we look forward to coming back next year!

This place very cute, with a beautiful view of the sound side. Loved the grilled pimento cheese with a side of hot honey. Very yummy! Kiddies liked their kid cheese plate. In addition to cheese, crackers and salami, it also had grape tomatoes (cut in half), cucumber moons and hummus. I like the healthier options for kids. The salad options and the veggie sandwich sound really good. Would love to come back on a warmer day for a glass of wine and cheese platter to watch the sunset.

The perfect spot for a relaxing glass of wine or craft beer. As the name suggest, this is a place to chill in the shade and look over the sound. Enjoy one of their creative charcuterie boards, a delicious salad, or sandwich. Service is very nice, polite, and prompt.

Quaint little restaurant on the water in Duck. Had a delicious vegan vegetarian sandwich and partner had the chicken salad sandwich. Plenty of beer to choose from! Service was friendly and fast. Lucky enough to be there while a great local singer was outside, creating the perfect atmosphere to our evening!

Had a great experience at this cafe with a beautiful view. The food and atmosphere is a must experience for anyone in the area.

the Italian sandwich ok but I specifically stated that I wanted it roasted.and now it's nothing more than a sandwich out of a gas station. Very dissappointed

hidden gem in OBX!! we stopped in today before hitting the shops in town. So many beverage selections + plenty of food options. You can create your own board, pick from pre selected ones, sandwiches, snacks, and can order extras as well. Not to mention the place is SO cute inside, modern rustic with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a bunch of wines/bubbles. The Pimento + Pretzel board was amazing and filling. The pimento cheese is UNREAL!! Must order! Food came out fast & we had the best experience.

Loved this on hot afternoon with a beautiful sound view. It's located on the Duck boardwalk. We enjoyed a small charcuterie board, a glass of Chardonnay ice cold and equally cold IPA. Yum!!! Better yet is that is dog friendly.

Came here to watch the sunset. Ordered two glasses of wine and the pretzel pimento board. The wine selection was decent, but I'm not much of a wine person. The server made a recommendation that worked out well. The food was great, on par with the prices I would say. The ambiance was awesome, the crowd was vibing. All around great place, I will go back.

Very quick service. Veggie sandwich was excellent..I had the vegan version and it was so good that I tried to make it at home (and I'm not even vegan)

Loved this place during my week-long trip to the Outer Banks! Very visually pleasing storefront and welcoming atmosphere + nice people providing great service. They're the perfect balance between drinks-only wine bar and full-blown restaurant. Their snacks are the exact type of food you want to munch on with wine. I loved their cheese board options and selection -- the Brie was especially good! The baguette was fresh, hot, and made in-house. There are about a half dozen sandwich options that enhance the wine-drinking sunset-watching experience. Please visit next time you're in the Outer Banks!

What a great place to chill and take in an OBX sunset! My wife and I hit Eventide twice during our week-long stay in Duck. It is owned by the former Waves Pizza family and they seem to be much happier with the laid-back bistro that has taken the place of hot pizza ovens (shout out to Rose and you're welcome for the chocolates!) It's in a perfect location on the south end of the boardwalk, so you can stop and have a drink after getting in your daily steps. Excellent cheese boards and light sandwiches. Not a huge selection of craft beer, but you'll find something you like from those that are available. My wife liked her wine, but that all tastes the same to me. Keep your eyes peeled for otters, ospreys, herons and cottonmouths in the sound. Perfect place to people watch!

I looked and looked for this on Yelp but didn't find so I added the business but am not the owner or apart of it. I just happened upon it and it was fantastic! Rarely do I give 5 stars but this place had great food, easy, simple, on the sound side and nice selection. Great spot for lunch or the end of a day. The Italian sandwich was so delicious. I ordered that and the hummus salad, halved them both and saved for later. Paired with a glass of rose, it has been a quaint highlight of my trip to duck.

Amazing service! We walked in and we were greeted immediately. We ordered a glass of Riesling and a beer which were perfect for the hot afternoon. We also ordered a board and Italian sandwich. The Italian was delicious and the bread was fresh. The board was also delish! Reminds me of a place in Napa, but with a better view!

We stumbled upon this shop after dinner when we were still looking for a place to have a drink. The wine was amazing and so was the cheese board! We liked it so much we stopped in the next day for another snack! This is a hidden getaway that is worth the stop!

This restaurant has several tables inside and maybe about a dozen outside. Menu is on the wall...sandwiches, boards, beer and wine. You order at the counter and they bring your food. There is no waitstaff so if you want another drink or more food, you'll need to head back up to the counter. The food was good. The outside views were fabulous. Plenty of options for food and drink. It was a good place for lunch... nothing fancy! It would be a great place for a sunset view.

Solid lunch spot, breeze off the sound, excellent beer selection, tasty food including their cheese boards. Less overt touristy vibes are appreciated. Don't be frightened by the Duck Donuts line, depending on the time of day... you can try parking on the north side of Super Wings lot to the south or walk in from the boardwalk.

Wonderful place in Duck right off the boardwalk. Great outdoor seating, friendly staff. Charcuterie plates are super tasty and excellent beer options in addition to wine. Sandwiches and salads also looked awesome. We will be back!

This is my first time here. I actually was planning on going to the Sunset Grill up the road but they don't let dogs out on the patio (seriously??) but it was a blessing in disguise because Eventide is a delicious quaint little spot in Duck. From the thoughtful wine selections, great craft beer, charcuterie selections, and the sandwiches. This place is the perfect lunch spot. Also - their veggie sandwich is to die for!

If you like cheese, honey, and sunsets and are looking for a light and different kind of meal then this place is for you. Online ordering process was very smooth and we were able to specify a pick up time which was great. Our cheese board came with delicious mustard, honey, and olives. The truffle cheese and parrano cheeses were soo good. We also got the salad with goat cheese, Italian sandwich, and grilled cheese with fig jam and they were all delicious. Would definitely return!

What a delightful place. Simple food with great ingredients, awesome location and great tunes. What's not to love?! It was so good we came back for lunch another day on a leisurely stroll on the Duck boardwalk. In our group the Italian, veggie and BlueLT sandwiches were big hits. The goat's cheese salad was so good it was ordered a second time. An awesome beer selection to enjoy and friendly service at very reasonable prices. I can't believe this place isn't packed but all the better for us. Oh - did I mention that they have Miss Vickie's chips too?!?!
