"Opened last year, Evergreen combines Southern fare with coastal Mississippian influences. Scallops and grits with nibs of Benton bacon; oysters raw, Rockefeller, and chargrilled; and a fried softshell crab sandwich in season are just a few choices. Biscuits and gravy, a house-ground burger, and crabcake Benedict are a few of the temptations at brunch. From the locally owned Mosaic Group Portfolio, which currently oversees six restaurants and bars." - Beth D'Addono

Interesting place. The risotto and the steak were great. The chicken was okay, unevenly cooked. The cucumber salad was good, unexpected. The crab bisque was very good! Had the crab claws and goat cheese for apps. The service was a challenge at times. I'm glad we experienced it, but we will try some other places in Ocean Springs next time.

Evergreen was a small, local gem with a charming ambiance. Creative mocktails and a menu featuring Southern classics with a twist. Our server JJ was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. I like that the menu changes. We found the dishes a touch salty, and I'm a salty gal, still delicious. Little pricey but generous portions and a special experience.

The crab Rangoon oysters were the best version of oysters I've ever had. Complex flavors and just overall perfect. Great weekend brunch spot.

My wife & I had brunch here spontaneously, we were actually headed to a different spot but ran across this & decided to try it instead. We ordered the mimosa flight, crab omelette, & sausage roll, both agreeing that it was the best brunch we've ever had. The food was awesome & our waiter was superior. While there we also got to meet both the owner & his wife & they were the nicest people & made us feel right at home. This whole experience was by far the best of our weekend trip. We can't wait to come back next year to eat here again! (PS order the Cheesy tots, you won't regret it!)

Great location as well as a great atmosphere. Both time I been there It wasn't crowded as you felt like you was eating in a privacy setting. If any complaint I may have is the food is hit or miss. But it can just be my taste buds my wife enjoys her meal every time she goes here. To the point she comes here quite frequent as she comes to Biloxi for business on a monthly base.

What a wonderful experience...I waitress took the time to explain every dish we asked her about in detail...what a delightful person she is...they also wished my daughter a Happy Birthday! The food and crafted cocktails were excellent! Will definitely be back.

Tried this upscale place in Ocean Springs for the first time. The outside seating area was decent, did not see the indoor section. Food was generally good, but not consistent. Watermelon gazpacho and scallops were excellent, but the oysters and Caesar were definitely nothing to get excited about. The standout main course was the Macque Choux, a savory agnolotti alongside shrimp. Service wasn't bad, but maybe not commensurate with the prices.

Made a reservation for 7:15pm. We were running 10 mins late but they were able to hold the table for us. The interior was dark and moody, yet very welcoming. Perfect for a date night. Service was very prompt despite the busy Friday night. Started off with the raw oysters. Slightly briny. I wish they have mignonette sauce to accompany it. Second course was the cajun scallops. Scallops were cooked perfectly. The smokiness from the bacon and the freshness from the corn really elevated the dish. the grits added a depth of texture too. i had the choux maque agnolotti as my main course. It came with royal reds which was perfectly seasoned as to not mask the sweetness of the shrimp. the blistered tomatoes added sweetness and a hint of acid. my partner had the black grouper. i took a bite of the fish and it was very tender and flaky. For dessert, we made a last minute decision to get the key lime cannoli and boy, it didn't disappoint! what a brilliant move to add the crushed graham and key lime zest only on the outside so it didn't overpower the lightness of the filling. and the cannoli shell was freshly fried as well! joey b. was our waiter and he did a really good job on answering our questions. i love the idea of farm to table and an ever evolving menu to promote sustainability and support local farmers. Evergreen has earned a spot on our must eat at restaurants in gulf coast. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making date night extra special.

Yelp
Wonderful meal all around on a busy Mardi Gras and Valentine weekend. Our server was great and made our experience very enjoyable.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great food! The shrimp and grits had a nice smoky flavor with perfect texture. The snapper was outstanding. The drink options are diverse and well done. Top it all off with excellent friendly service and it makes for a great night out!

Yelp
Food was amazing. We got the chicken gnocchi and the mamas sauce pasta. Service was nice and helpful and attentive. The vibe of the place is very nice, lots of art on the walls. Small place so make a reservation!

Yelp
I have been waiting to try this place since it opened. Made a reservation on open table, the lady that greeted us ended up being our server, she was very knowledgable about the menu. They are a farm to table concept so we quizzed her a little just for fun. We had a Caesar and the pork belly as apps, the sauce they have for the pork belly is great, ask for an extra drizzle or some on the side!! Main course, I had chicken and dumplings which was really good, the chicken may have been a min or 2 overcooked but wasn't dry and the flavor for the dish overall was great. We also ordered the filet and the flavor on that was top notch, I think they add like a demi glaze to that and the asparagus. The twice baked potato was also really good, not overcooked. Drink menu had a variety of options, I went with a gin smash, I would recommend trying something off their drink menu. Atmosphere and decor are excellent, perfect for date night/girls night for dinner and/or just drinks! 4/5 Stars-I would recommend this place!

Yelp
The blackened snapper was truly one of the best I've ever had. Amazing rice as well. And the drink menu was an underrated superstar! - try the Sazerac! Thank you!

Yelp
Just not good!!! Awful even!!! Bad food. The place is a dump. I the the greeter was in the kitchen microwaving our food.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance. Good service. Very attentive. We were looking for a nice dinner on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Lots of places were closed. This had been on the "we want to visit" list. Good cocktails. We had the new style chicken& dumplings. I never eat that dish but it was presented as grilled fresh veggies, stuffed gnocchi and chicken. It was delicious! We also had the snapper/ another great dish. Prices on mains were about $40. Nice evening.

Yelp
We had the Maque Choux (Royal Red Shrimp) and Paulet Rouge (half a deboned chicken rolled and stuffed with veggies. This is our first time in, but it surely will not be the last time. The food was fabulous. Gracie, our server was very pleasant and efficient. We ate on the patio which was nice. The background music was pleasant and the volume was such that we could talk without raising our voices. The only detractor, and it is not the restaurant's fault, is the Red Neck Pickups with loud engines playing their music (?) on full volume as they drove down the street!

Yelp
We honestly expected this restaurant to be better than it was. We had a reservation and were seated to a basically empty restaurant and had to ask if we were going to be waited on after 6 or 7 minutes. The server came to our table and said "we are having lots of issues tonight". The service was not upscale and the food was not great. We did not like the baked goat cheese appetizer but we were told it was a best seller. We did like the nice atmosphere. It seems like there is a management and training issue at this restaurant.

Yelp
Food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Had a wedge salad with fresh blue cheese dressing and scallops that were cooked perfectly. Grouper on a bed of rice that had a Spanish vibe to me. Royal reds with fresh ravioli in an exceptionally favorable sauce. And had a complex mixture of spices and flavors. I had a bacon fat old fashion that at first was skeptical but was unique and wonderful. My wife had a honeysuckle martini that was also and quite delicious. Very different take on common dishes. The chef shout be commented for the creatively. We have eaten at Vestige several times and this is the closest in Ocean Springs to a unique dining experience

Yelp
Terrible customer service. We had reservations for 7:30 and arrived at 7:34 (open table allows a 15 min grace period). We waited in the lobby for 9 min before any of the servers even LOOKED at us. After that, we were told "Since you were way later than your reservation time, you'll have to wait and it'll be a lot longer than you want to wait." EXTREMELY rude tone, indicating that we should just leave. As a table was just getting up, a different server sat us. We saw our waiter a total of 2 times the entire time we were there. Oh and the food???? Bland and cold. Asked for salt and pepper and never got it lol! Don't waste your time on this place

Yelp
Appetizer brought out after entrees. Poor service. Fish was cooked to long..won't be back
