Family and I have been coming here for YEARS, S ince I was kid.(28 yrs old now) it used to be amazing. cheap quick and delicious. But now the flavor is not there, the peppers use to have such a unique taste. Hopefully they get better

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maxwell’s Express Grill Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience. The food was exceptionally fresh and served with impressive speed, living up to the “express” in its name. Having sampled similar establishments across the city, I can confidently say that Maxwell’s Express Grill stands out as the best by far. The quality of the ingredients and the efficiency of the service make it a top choice for anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a hurry. Highly recommended!

Their polishes are very good. They give you more fries too. Jim's is nearby. I eat from both but I like this place's polishes better. Try the beef polish. Very good!!

I have been coming here for almost 2 decades when I'm visiting the area. The best part here is they can split and grill your Polish Sausage which brings out the flavor from the center of the sausage. They listen carefully to your instructions and they are very quick here. There is two places that compete on this street a few steps away from each other. Make sure you go to the one that says "Express Grill".

The best street food hands down! Made right in front of you! && to make it even better the prices are sooo affordable! I fed me and my kids for literally less then $30. I’m not originally from Illinois and I recently moved but I will for ever miss this restaurant and go back for some every time I visit the Windy City! Ps, their open late so perfect greasy food after a good night out !
