This was close by to where I was staying, I liked the name, and the Popcorn flavored lattes on the menu was intriguing. I first had the Buttery Salty Theater latte. Subtle but it still reminds you of movie theater popcorn in a good way! I also had the vegan breakfast sandwich. I’m not vegan and don’t go out of my way to eat vegan food, but I’m not opposed to it at all. Portland has a lot of vegan restaurants and none have disappointed me, especially this filling breakfast sandwich. Not pictured, I ordered the Salty Sweet Kettle Popcorn latte to go. Just as good as the Buttery Salty Theater one but a tad sweeter. Bryce was there manning the register and coffee duties. Very pleasant and helpful. Nice chatting with him for a bit. Small place. Not a lot of seating so it seems maybe most people order to go. Nonetheless, great coffee and treats.

This is a small coffee shop so not a ton of seating. We weren’t looking for a plant based place but we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our coffees. I got the Popcorn slatted with caramel that was delicious with flaky salt and I would highly recommend. Service was friendly.

Small, cozy, welcoming plant-based coffee shop. I was so excited to try the popcorn latte, and I was not disappointed with the theater option. Also paired it with the vegan classic breakfast sandwich, which was simple and good! The pastries looked wonderful and I’m excited to try them next time I’m back. Not a ton of seating options, which worked out fine for us, but just good to be aware if you plan to dine in!

Ranging from floral to spicy, hot or iced , there is both local quality and quality local items to be enjoyed. The seating is adequate for doing work on their WiFi network, socializing with coworkers during lunch, and even a cozy place to set up an interview. Very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful drinks. We had the wintermint mocha and chai latte. Mocha was perfect balance of mint,chocolate and mildly sweet with cookie crumble sprinkle on top. We both really like and recommend! The chai latte is local and spicy. I had mine plain without sweetener, but if you like a little sweet, adding vanilla syrup would be perfect. Recommend both.

Exceptional. This place is espresso only and vegan. Espresso and food is exceptional. Popcorn latte was one of the best flavored lattes I have ever tried. The space is super cute. Perfectly showcases the spirit of small Portland coffee shops with unique character. 10/10

Omg get the popcorn latte!! It is so delicious and you can have it made to take more like kettle, movie theater or caramel. I got mine made to be more of kettle corn taste which sweetness level is right in the middle. I loved the art and pinch of salt. It hit all of my palate Overall delicious latte and a kickass barista who was friendly and chill.

Lovely hole in the wall vegan cafe, easy to walk past and miss. Inside there is a small counter to order at, and behind a raised area with four small tables so you totally can hang out and enjoy your treats here, or get them to go. I recommend enjoying your coffee here to fully enjoy the flavor and texture combinations, not to mention the foam artwork :) there's also outdoor seating for nice weather. WiFi passwords on the tables. Everything is totally free of animal products and the coffee specials rotate. I indulged in a Wintermint Mocha, Like drinking a hot thin mint cookie, and my partner got a Movie Theate Popcorn latte that smells and tastes utterly amazing - sweet and salty with crunchy buttery salty topping. Nothing I would ever think to try on my own, but it's delicious. Two options of hot breakfast sandwiches, we got the standard with just egg, a huge sausage patty, arugula, aioli and an umami miso spread. I needed to eat some feelings so indulged in two kinds of pastry - a blueberry danish and an almond croissant. Both so yummy. One barista holding down the joint when we arrived just after opening, soft spoken and extremely kind and helpful. A welcome greeting on a cold morning.

Fully Vegan, Delicious rotating specials! Exquisite Creatures is a tiny little shop located in an old elevator shaft. They have the menu on the original elevator weights which is a very unique touch. They only have a single size, so I recommend spending some time sipping in the store instead of taking it togo. The highlight of our experience was the foam art. The barista was so highly skilled they created a beautiful bear

Exquisite Creatures markets themselves as a plant-based coffee shop, but I'm fairly certain they're all vegan. You can get drinks made with oat, almond, soy, or coconut milk. If you're a tea drinker, they have caffeinated and herbal teas. For food options, they have a good variety of vegan pastries made by local bakeries. Most of them are sweet, but there was one savory scone when I was there. I don't know if all of the pastries are made by Shoofly, but the one I ordered definitely was. They also serve a vegan breakfast sandwich on an english muffin. The employee who was there when I went in was super nice, and the bathrooms were clean. Street parking was easy.

Gorgeous coffee shop on a beautiful street. Super friendly and interesting staff. The Raspberry Rose Blossom latte I ordered was available either with espresso or matching. I chose matching. All of their interesting latte combinations seem to provide this choice, which I love. Seriously the most delicious latte I've had in a while, if not ever! The smell of real rose petals was so beautiful as I sipped my drink. Lovely experience overall.

Popped in about 30 minutes before closing for a quick caffeine pick-me-up. Staff were friendly, the interior is small but cozy and soothing, and the coffee, which is really what matters, was excellent. We ordered an espresso, a cortado, a matcha latte, and the pistachio meadows latte (one of their specialty drinks). The beans were quality, all ratios were spot on, and the oat milk was perfectly steamed and froth. I typically order a cappuccino, but the Pistachio Meadows latte was an absolute treat. Its mild nuttiness paired perfectly with the floral. Most specialty espresso drinks are heavy on the sweetness, but this was perfect as prepared and sacrificed no flavor. Would absolutely plan ahead next time to even more appreciate this gem of a cafe.

Super cute coffee shop, which is all plant- based. The chai withroobos it's not caffeinated. It is a little bit spicy, but delicious. Everyone's super nice and it was quick. Cute seating area. The Cup had a design and for some reason, it made me really happy today.

Great location fully plant base really good breakfast sandwiches on the go and overall great experience. Highly recommended different but amazing tasting coffee definitely sweet though so if you guys like things, a little less sweet, just make sure to let the barista know.

My new favorite coffee shop in PDX! All vegan drinks and small bites in a quaint cafe in East Burnside. Their specialty latte selection was top tier, featuring unique and mouth-watering options that had my eyes widening even before the caffeine hit. I snagged a caramel popcorn latte with much enthusiasm, but without much expectation. Could it possibly be that good? I've had a few let downs at other shops recently but this one seemed promising. OH MY GOODNESS, it was divine. Buttery, sweet, salty and smooth, what made this latte a 10/10 was I could still taste the coffee. Overly flavored and sweet drinks from Starbucks could NEVER. You know it's good when you immediately want another and could foresee yourself drinking one everyday for the rest of your life. Coffee is basically my love language and a good latte can set the mood for my entire day. While I've been brewing at home a lot more these days, every once in a while I leave it to the pros. This time, I'm very glad I left it to the pros. And I had a very good day. Should you try the popcorn latte at Exquisite Creatures? Yes. You should.

When a friend mentioned they have popcorn flavored lattes, I was intrigued. Interestingly, the flavoring works. The kettle corn latte is a delicious drink that's sweet with a touch of saltiness. This coffee shop is very small with only 2-3 small tables. IMO, it's better to order the coffee to go. The coffee is pricey ($7 for a small), but overall it's worth the experience of trying unique flavored drinks. Coffee shop is plant based which I can appreciate. Hope to come back to try their other drinks.

Off the bat, I'm a matcha drinker and a meat eater but this is the only place where I veer off and drink coffee and look forward to a vegan breakfast sandwich. I've tried the matcha, chai, root beer float, and popcorn latte -- all delicious. The popcorn lattes are a must and come in 3 different flavors -- kettle, caramel and theatre. The one I tried was the perfect balance of savory and sweet and... could easily be the best coffee I've ever had. The owners are lovely and really care about your experience. They put a lot of thought into R&D to create one-of-a-kind seasonal offerings. This is what keeps me coming back. The shop is small yet cozy. They've really made the best use of the space with florals and local art. I appreciate their emphasis on mindfulness. Such a wonderful place to be to remind yourself to take a moment and pause, and to remind yourself that you're an exquisite creature!

We were looking for some delicious espresso and a little something to go with it to eat. The coffee was good so full stars for that. It was the overall vibe that was a problem. Full of people about 20-30 yrs old with laptops in front of them as they stare into the distance and visit with each other. Does anyone work anymore ‍? We felt like we crashed a staff meeting. The staff behind the counter serving did not look up and meet us with eyes and did not say anything. It was dreary atmosphere and felt like the people in there just go there a sit all day with lap top. I suppose they ordered something at some point but no one had anything while we were there. I would never return and would definitely not recommend to anyone. 2 small plain lattes and one chocolate chip cookie almost 20$. No smiles no one engaging bad overall vibe with a very unwelcome feeling.

What a COOL new cafe! Big win for the vegan community! While taking a fall walk around town, I swung by here. Super friendly staff and recently opened. They have a unique list of seasonal specials, and I tried their luscious caramel popcorn latte with a local missionary chocolate treat. Both were satisfying! Theres a handful of small tables to enjoy your drink and work from home. There was also an outlet strip nearby. I'll be telling my coffee-loving and vegan friends to come here next!

Adorable plant-based coffee shop with pleasant & clean lines for their interior design. The cups are beautiful, & one of the best things about a cup of coffee is a beautiful container. I'm new to plant based lattes, & I liked the texture & taste of the drink. If you want to sit & sip, there's 2 indoor seating sections with high ceilings and a cozy space. The music is pleasant, subtle. I like to sit outside check out the hills across the river. Street parking. Some is metered in front. Right around the corner, it's unmetered. The staff is cheerful

A unique little coffee shop a little East of downtown Portland. I love their concept and creative drinks. The space is small but very cozy. We tried their Popcorn Latte, which was the clear winner, and the Pistachio Meadow Latte. The Popcorn Latte worked so well, slightly salty and sweet. You could pick from Theatre, Kettle, and Caramel which I thought was very cool. The Pistachio Latte was not bad either but the pistachio flavor was weak. The lavender really took over. It's a hard flavor to get right though. Both were served in a cool ceramic wear. A great spot for some fun coffee!

What a fun place! It's all vegan not vegan options! The staff is very friendly and welcoming into their small space and love their passion for the space shows as they tell you about the art work. The coffee specials are fun and imaginative! I tried the Pistachio Meadow latte and was not disappointed in my choice. It is creamy without being sweet and the pistachio flavor shines through instead of being covered up by the milk and espresso. Need to come back to try the popcorn latte!

Well, tried calling to make sure that they have gluten free options like listed on their website, no answer. Rolled the dice and headed in. There was no gluten free anything, which was the main reason other than the supposedly great coffee. We skipped hotel breakfast to come here, a little nonplussed. Also, they only have espresso and we're out of half the drinks. My plain latte is fantastic, I'll give them that. But the service and lack of preparation is ridiculous. How do you not have anything of all the main attractions to this place. Doesn't help they were unapologetic and the lady was quite rude when giving my wife our drinks. Unfortunate, really wanted to like this place. More creatures less the exquisite

Very friendly staff; adorable decor & ambiance. Got a pistachio meadow latte that had a subtle hint of the lavender (grateful because too much lavender can ruin your taste buds) and the sweet nuttiness I expect from a pistachio treat. They had a decent selection of things in the pastry case despite it being close to closing time. I opted for some sort of chocolate peanut butter cookie bar. The whole place is entirely plant-based so it was unsurprising the chocolate seemed to have a flavor that makes me assume it uses coconut oil (yum). The cookie part had a nice texture & balance of salt to compliment the sweetness of the peanut butter and chocolate. It's delicious but rich- I liked that it was a huge portion so I could snack on it throughout the day. Sorry for the photo, I should have taken it before I started eating but I couldn't wait!

CUTE space! espresso is dark roast which took me by surprise but the product is high quality. The company is vegan so there is no milk products. Also got to meet the barista who is very friendly and helpful with finding the drink that suited us. Fun times!!

I personally think about the butter popcorn coffee on a weekly basis... atleast. I happen to find this gem and it was a delight! They were very kind and respectful towards my service dog and once again-excellent coffee!! My only wish is that they were opened for a few extra hours!

Yummy delicious coffee!! Corbin was amazing!!! Stopped by before a work meeting and they were very warm and made us feel so welcome in the cute little coffee shop. If we are ever back in Portland we will definitely stop by and hope we get the chance to meet Corbin again!!!

The best of Portland is super cool baristas making excellent coffee in a converted elevator shaft. They were exceptionally nice, efficient, and skilled. The ginger espresso tonics made my day.

This is a really well located place. I have alot of awesome memories in this area and is right across from kann. The workers where extremely nice and attentive. Right when you walk in they are super nice. I may have thrown them off with the squeeky I gave them (donation) but they laughed. The coffee was awesome and special and I appreciate the love they put into what they do.

Popcorn Latte??? YES. It's amazing, and way more interesting and delicious than I imagined. What a cute space as well, love that they kept some of the original features (some sort of huge counterweight lift for example). I like this place a lot.

Solid sandwich. Coffee on point too. Breakfast sandwich had a nice flavor with a little greens for crunch. Couldn't distinctly taste the aoili and chose the miso one.

Unexpectedly stumbled upon this exquisite, cozy coffee shop! The coffee itself was absolutely delicious: a beautiful, full-bodied medium roast -- served in lovely ceramic cups. The service was incredibly kind and genuine. And the fact that it's fully plant-based is the cherry on top! A perfect stop-in for coffee and delicious baked good!

We went here recently and had a great experience. The ginger snap latte was amazing. Speaking to the owners was a joy. We will def be visiting again. Can't wait to try the pistachio meadow iced latte next.

What a beautiful, intimate coffee spot! The seasonal Popcorn Latte and Matcha Colada were exceptional, an all around wonderful coffee experience! Love at first visit!
