The 21 Best Restaurants In Neukölln - Berlin - The Infatuation

"Although small plates restaurants using seasonal ingredients from the local Brandenburg area are pretty ubiquitous these days, Ezsra’s regional farming and wild foraging approach feels more down-to-earth, with its unpretentious plating and support for regenerative working farms around Berlin. If there are two or more of you, they’ll recommend you order the entire menu, so do just that, and marvel at their creamy labneh, Kreuzberg honey halloumi, and smoky potatoes that taste a bit like when you accidentally drank cigarette butt water (in the best possible way). Look out for collaborations with guest chefs and wine shops for new takes on their trusted formula." - Olivia Ladanyi

I believe that this is the best restaurant in Berlin. Bold statement but true. Hard to believe that people are not talking more about this place. Been here already 5 times in the last couple of years and it's always an incredible experience. Nice delicate dishes, both vegetarian and meat dishes are really unique. The menu is always changing but the halloumi and the green oil stays and that's a big win, they're always slightly different but awesome. This is the place that I always recommend for a great fine dining experience.

Went in yesterday for dinner. What a gem to find in the area! The wine list is exceptional, food is locally sourced, somewhere in like 60 km radius... Found the concept very appealing. The flavours in everything we tried was intense, balanced and paired with the other wines we got recommended... Thanks Victor and the team for the experience.... Will be certainly back.

Delicious plates to share! Amazing selection of natural wines that paired nicely with our dinner. The halloumi was the star in my opinion but loved the home made tagliatelle as well as the tempura beans and carrots. Staff took the time to explain the dishes and wines and made the entire experience well worth the money. Will be back!!

Excellent dinner. Different flavours, dishes made with care. I was astonished by the linguine with smoked butter, kale and burnt bread, and the black currant meringue with Sichuan pepper. The tastes were so bold, powergul and surprising. Absolutely loved the dinner.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly. The menu is well explained with three courses. The ingredients are unique and of high quality, with a special twist. However, the food lacked flavor and didn't taste particularly special, it was just okay. Hopefully, the taste improves in the future because the place definitely has potential

A solid 5/5 Beautifully executed: flavors, freshness, presentation, colors. The pictures don’t do it justice. The dishes look even better in person :)

The restaurant is very small and accepts reservation so we got a table for five. Three of us got the tasting menu (55€ per person) the other two ordered a la carte. The food was good and we tried original combinations, nothing to complain about. But there were few things we didn't like 1)portions: the three people getting the menu had quite small portions, the price for a tasting menu is exactly 50% of the price you would pay ordering the single dishes so people should get 50% of every course.. in reality they were bringing one full portion for three hence 33% of a portion. Definitely not a bargain!! 2) service: extremely slow, they almost never checked on us. Ordered two bottle of wine and the second took ages to arrive and we had to ask again to bring it. Oysters were supposed to arrive first but they forgot them and brought them during the second course. Dessert arrived at least an hour after the last course! Despite being 11:30pm (literally 3h meal time) and alone in the restaurant we had to wave at them to be able to pay. 3) the check: we expected three tasting menus on the check (55€pp) plus the beverages and the a la carte dishes instead we got One 55 menu For each course a full portion price The a la carte dishes Beverages Why on earth would you do that? We asked why we were not seeing the three menus plus the other dishes but we got different and not convincing explanations. If you have a 55€ tasting menu and Three people went for it YOU MUST PUT THREE TASTING MENU ON THE CHECK. period! 4) payment: cash only, for a total of 380€ the only payment possible was cash hence two of us needed to look for an ATM to be able to pay. Unacceptable Overall the food and food combinations were good but they managed to ruin it with all the rest.
