"Graham Elliot and Felipe Amenta have opened their barbecue spot in Fort Worth. But there are no paper plates, steel trays, or rolls of paper towels here — it’s strictly china, cloth napkins, and real silverware. The menu isn’t a by-the-pound structure either, it’s strictly sandwiches and entrees presented as meals and not a vehicle for meat." - Courtney E. Smith

"Coming later this year will be F1, a barbecue spot where guests eat smoked meats off fine china rather than the standard metal tray, and what could be described as fancier but not fussy sides — imagine an eight-bean salad with sprouting legumes, herbs, and lemons instead of pinto beans." - Courtney E. Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. We ordered too much food but left with take out boxes. The smoked wings were really good, we had both buffalo and bbq flavors and really enjoyed those. Fried pickles were great! The Mac and cheese was delicious, I really enjoyed the cucumber salad and the smash burger was so good, although a bit heavy for me, husband loved it. My son also really enjoyed the coconut lemonade drink! The restaurant is bright and modern, and the service was very attentive and friendly, although the food did take longer than I expected to come out. Overall a great spot for lunch or dinner!

Google
F1 Smokehouse exceeded my expectations! The nachos had the perfect ratio of toppings to chips, ensuring every bite was loaded with flavor. The Blue Plate was absolutely delicious. The Green Haze cocktail had just the right hint of spice, balancing heat and refreshment beautifully. To top it all off, the banana pudding was the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal. Honestly, everything we ordered was spot on. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Overrated & overpriced. Small portion sizes. Food was dressed nicely (if you’re looking for aesthetics rather than portion sizes.) Had a wad of blonde hair tangled up in the side of potatoes which grossed us out. The hair was hard to see as it blended in with the potatoes. They took off $8 for that even though I think my food should’ve been comp as we lost our appetite after that. First waitress was friendly and attentive but she was replaced with a friendly, non attentive waitress. I would recommend hair nets for the kitchen staff or preventive measures to deter hair from falling into the food. $8 for 3 deviled eggs … I was expecting 6 eggs at least 😂

Google
Service (Dory)was great, food was just okay. Dessert, not so much. The drink (Staycation) was really good. Patio was really nice, probably will not add to our rotation.

Google
Absolutely delicious!. Best buffalo wings I’ve ever had!. Best Elote in town and the loaded potato was perfection! and a meal for two!. Love this place will definitely be back!. Did I say, service was delightful!, friendly and professional staff.

My wife and I went on a date night here on Friday night. We had a great experience. We got there just in time for happy hour, which made our first round and some appetizers really affordable. Their Armenta’s margarita is delicious, and we ordered it with a Tajin rim. We ordered the deviled eggs and guacamole to start. Both were delicious. The guacamole was fresh and tasted amazing. We ordered a wedge salad and the honey truffle fried chicken. There was so much chicken and it was delicious! Looking forward to going back.

I ordered Texas cheesesteak and substituted the fries with charred broccolini. Hands down the broccolini was the suprise star of my order. Maybe it was just me but the combination of sour, light oil and char was more impressive to my taste buds than the brisket cheesesteak. PLEASE don't change the recipe and don't stop serving this item. I will be back here just for the broccolini! The Texas cheesesteak was good but being a Philly cheesesteak fan I was expecting way more peppers and onions to be considered a cheesesteak. The sandwich was mainly brisket (which was tasty) but I was expecting more green peppers and onions to be honest. There were other brisket items on the menu but I didn't order them because I wasn't feeling like brisket today. I miss the classic cheesesteak flavors. FYI: I also ordered the whiskey sour and slow and low. Both drinks were good. I would order the low and slow over the whiskey sour (only because I like my drinks to be tart). The cherries in the whiskey sour were delicious though!

Google
OUTSTANDING food! Cool atmosphere, too, with old school rock. If everything isn't brand new, it is so spotless clean that it appears so. We were seated promptly and had fantastic service from Melissa. Food came out super fast even though there were preparations for a huge catering event. I love the special touch of purse holders on the sides of the table. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
The food was amazing but our server Dory put it over the top. Absolutely amazing service. Thank you

Yelp
Quaint place. Didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Great staff with excellent recommendations. Mac & cheese was amazing! Outdoor space looks amazing and will definitely go back to enjoy more great dining.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick Sunday bite. We were able to sit on the patio that's tucked away in the back. Very nice! Cozy and nice to sit on a patio thar has a cool vibe. The food was really good. I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwhich with tots and we got an Elote. Our server Enrique made sure we were well taken care of. He walked us through the menu. Made suggestions and kept if fun and lite. Absolutely need to come back...next time....I'm getting ribs!

Kawana B.

Yelp
Great ambiance. Very unique and cozy. Excellent service. Wagyu smash burger: tasty and flavorful. Grilled bbq wings: small wing dings, a lot of flavor, sweet and salty sauce, a bit over cooked. Cesar salad: larger salad than expected. I requested bacon sprinkled on top. The lettuce is lightly grilled. Dressing is tasty. The croutons are fresh and definitely made on site. Good and tasty choice. Chicken fried pickles: crispy well seasoned coating. Salty and briny pickle spears on the inside.

Yelp
This is probably my 5th or 6th visit here. I will say that this has consistently been solid food with fantastic service. I love how clean the place is also. Started with the brisket queso and this is a staple at this place. It's just fantastic. Then got the Chopped Brisket Melt. The brisket, aged cheddar and caramelized onions made a combination that was very pleasing to the taste buds. The Fully loaded baked potato with brisket made a hearty meal perfect for winter. Finished with the Blondie Al La Mode which was a cast iron cookie with a scoop of ice cream. This is just a classic combination that is fantastic for fall.

Arianne P.

Yelp
Love everything we ordered, from the queso brisket dip to the classic Texas brisket. The sides are really delicious, we got the truffle potato salad and beans. They gave us extra chips since there were some dip left. The service was wonderful, they made sure our iced tea were always filled. Price is a little bit higher than other barbecue place but not that much. Ambiance is nice, you can hold a conversation without having to shout.

Helen S.

Yelp
These people took bbq and added just a touch of upscale, very unique execution. The decor is great for a bbq place, food was good, nothing to complain about when it comes to service. We walked in and were seated immediately without a reservation on a Sunday night. The bbq will not blow you away, especially with so many amazing bbq spots in DFW but it's certainly worth a try. I think this place would be great for a business lunch if you want to impress out of state clients with some TX bbq without having to take them to a hole in the wall to do so.

Yelp
Went to F1 for lunch on a Friday and I think they are doing some really great things here. First off, the menu and the setting isn't like any BBQ place in Fort Worth currently. It is a bit more formal, with table service and BBQ-themed dishes. I say that in that, if you're looking for a "meat and three" or just want to order a few pounds of brisket, that isn't F1's model so plan accordingly. Needless to say, its the most unique BBQ menu in Fort Worth. Running with this, I felt like going with the Brisket cheese steak was the perfect option for lunch. You're greeted with a hearty mound of cubed smoked brisket, piled a top a charred French roll, with a hearty serving of fries. The brisket was quite good, smoky and tender. Overall a great sandwich and probably one of the best cheesesteaks in Fort Worth. So now that I've whet my palate, I plan to be back to try more of the menu. I've heard their breakfast is amazing and I do plan on trying the Blue Plate Special, where I can do a more traditional BBQ review given I can sample all the smoked meats. F1's unique take on BBQ definitely requires a visit.

Yelp
Another dynamite restaurant from FAR Out... every single one of Felipe's restaurants are good. My wife and I went out for a date night here to celebrate her birthday and they gave us each a complimentary glass of champs to celebrate. We were off to a great start! My wife also ordered the Texas Heat cocktail. It was a jalapeno cucumber tequila based drink, with just the right amount of kick. She loved it! I had a glass of Pinot to go with my barbecue. For our entrees, my wife selected the loaded baked potato with brisket. It was a good size, and topped with sour cream sauce, cheese, brisket, butter, and green onion. It was a strong selection. I ordered the blue plate special which had pulled pork, pork ribs, jalapeno and cheddar sausage, and brisket. Platter was served with three sauces, a peach bbq, hoisin bbq, and a ground mustard. Each was unique in its own right and offered some flavor depth. There were about six other things on the menu that I wanted to try, so I'm already plotting my return trip.

Yelp
Drinks were great, food was very flavorful and warm. Our server was very helpful too! Definitely planning on coming back...

Yelp
Great happy hour. All the food was fabulous-beautifully presented. We don't usually do wings, but I saw some and had to try them, highly recommended.

Raina M.

Yelp
Very happy with this restaurant! Food was delicious! We got the Blue Plate Special so we could sample some of everything. Great option for 2 people. We also tried the Wagu brisket as well and this was so rich and buttery! Highly recommend!

Brad J.

Yelp
This place is very comfortable and inviting yet high end. The food is absolutely ridiculously good and even saw the owner and celebrity chef while there .very unique flavors 1 of my fav of his multiple restaurants

Yelp
Stop what you're doing and go right now!! Five star service, food, decor, ambiance. Check, check, check and check. Here's what we had: Electric pickle dirty martini, red headed stranger and smoke show cocktails from the bar. Brisket plate with truffle potato salad (one thumb up, one thumb down at our table), deviled eggs, mexican shrimp cocktail, berry cobbler. My husband said he thought it looked like a small plate of food but he said it was actually just right. We both loved the deviled eggs. The mexican cocktail had shrimp all the way to the last bite and was very light and refreshing. The berry cobbler was the absolute best we have ever had!! Every staff member helps clear tables and welcome guests. Watching staff they constantly fill water and clear plates. It's been so long since we had this level of service I thought it didn't exist but here it is. We can't wait to go back with friends or for happy hour!

Yelp
Brunch exceeded expectations. Started with the fried pickle spears which had a nice flavor that paired perfect with the spicy ranch dip. The breading did not stay on the pickle which was annoying but still a solid appetizer. I had the breakfast sandwich ($7) and loved it. The brioche bun was light and airy. Hubby had the Cuban with tots. Really good. We'll definitely be back to try the Blue Plate as recommended by our server. Oh...and my Bloody Mary was on point. House made mix with a slight kick. So fresh and yummy!

Yelp
3rd visit here, and this was by far my favorite! Sadly, they were out of my favorite cocktail, "Just Peachy." However, going along with our waiter's recommendation, I tried the Red-headed Stranger. It was delicious! A perfect, slushy, frozen drink to cool me down in this Texas heat. My date tried "Smokey the Bear," and very much enjoyed it. The price was steep - $18. But was a skillfully crafted cocktail. The smokiness made itself apparent on the nose and then disappeared on the palette, making for an interesting and pleasant twist on a classic. The loaded baked potato with brisket was divine! Tender chunks of brisket atop a salt-crusted skin baked potato, filled with butter, cheddar, and topped with green onion was excellent! The pork ribs were succulent, slightly spicy, and seasoned to perfection. Coated and kissed with a tangy, tomatoey, veil of a sauce was SO GOOD! The pickled onions actually paired well with the flavors of the ribs and proved more than just to be pretty presentation. The sides, truffled potato salad, and Mac and Jack weren't bad, but not necessarily that great. Worth a try, but the rest of our order stole the show! Our waiter was great, I should have got his name. All of his suggestions and help were spot on. He was even a good sport with another table full of happy-go-lucky women and sang "Happy Birthday" to one of the ladies per their special request and to all of their delight. Anyways, this is a great modern spin on classic BBQ picks paired with fun cocktails, matched with kitchy, contemporary, old school Western atmosphere.

Yelp
The service at the restaurant was wonderful--our server was attentive and very friendly. However, the food didn't quite hit the mark for us. The Korean Style Double-Cut Pork Chop was surprisingly spicy, which wasn't mentioned on the menu, and the pork itself was a bit dry. The mac and cheese, though bland, was more enjoyable than the pork chop. On a positive note, everyone else at our table liked their dishes, which is why the overall rating is higher. The banana pudding was a nice finish, with a good portion size and balanced sweetness, though we wished it had more banana and bread crumbs. While it's a bit of a drive, we might return if we're in the area to try something different--but we'd skip the pork chop.

Yelp
SERVICE! Guys I keep saying how much quality service means to me when we pay so much to eat out these days... they did a fantastic job here. Yes, they were slow at the time, but they made us feel like VIPs by the way we were treated. The design of this place (inside and outdoor seating) is super cute, but it is relatively small, so if you want to come on a typically busy night, it might be wise to make a rezzo or you may end up at Chipotle to get your meat fix! I enjoy my booze as much as the next Texan, but sometimes I like to give my liver a break, so I ordered the Baja Lemonade. It was VERY tart, but still good and refreshing and not sweet, so I was happy, but there was too much ice! We ordered only appetizers for our meal, and they was more than enough for us! My favorite was the Mexican shrimp cocktail. GUYS... if you like bloody Mary's you will love this, not that it tastes like one. Haha. The sauce has such an amazing flavor and you can taste the fresh tomatoes and cilantro that combine to make such a delectable liquid. I could drink it with vodka over ice (reminder that foodies don't judge each other). I have an unhealthy obsession with truffles, so of course I had to get the truffle potato salad. It was delightful, creamy, and you could actually taste the truffle oil, but the potatoes were slightly undercooked; almost perfect. The deviled eggs were good. Just deviled eggs though, nothing wrong with them, but nothing special. I'm quite picky with nachos and don't prefer anything but shredded melted cheese on top, but these turned out better than expected! They were loaded with pork, so you didn't feel cheated, but instead super satiated by the end. I will definitely go back to dive into the meats more!

Krystal C.

Yelp
I just freakin love F1 Smokehouse. Wagyu corn dog? Yes Old fashioned with honey dipper in it? Yes Best Pork Chop around? Possibly Although there is a great debate on if the corn dog was invented in Illinois or Texas... we can all agree this is the best one around! The pork chop, steak frites, and mac n cheese are delicious! The atmosphere is serving neon cowboy and I'm here for it! The service is always excellent. A yes for me every time !

LaNitria T.

Yelp
After driving around a bit aimlessly we landed at F1 hands down the best decision we could have made. Avery and every other staff person provided remarkable and attentive service, gave suggestions, and made sure we had what we needed from the time we stepped foot into the space. Upscale bbq is a unique and well executed concept in the space and having a smaller menu allows for it to be carried out impeccably. The exterior does no justice to the interior and the design is well done. We ordered brisket queso; chefs kiss, and the peach grilled chicken that was even better the next day. The cocktails were tasty as well. Already planning my next visit!

Sherry S.

Yelp
Great little fun place. The food was great. The drinks were delicious. I loved the Just Peachy. Price was middle of the road. I love the outdoor dining patio. The electric car plug in was malfunctioning. :(

Brian W.

Yelp
Nothing like their other restaurants, food was meh and service at bar took forever and zero personality. I had higher hopes.

Andrew G.

Yelp
Was in town for a convention and came to try this place for Texas BBQ. Overall the experience was fantastic. We came on a Friday evening and there was minimal wait for a table for 3. I started with their queso brisket dip which was delicious and the brisket added a nice meaty flavor. I got the blue plate special which came with ribs, pulled pork, sausage, and brisket - the brisket was my favorite, the sausage and pulled pork were great, and the ribs were a little tough and difficult to eat off the bone. The platter also came with three different creative BBQ sauces (a korean, a peach, and a ?mustard) which I enjoyed. Service throughout the meal was excellent. We did have an issue where another table's food was accidentally added to our check but they quickly corrected things when we pointed it out.

Sonia F.

Yelp
Food and service were amazing! Sara our waitress was awesome! We ordered the Smash Burger and the chef forgot to add the egg and both the chef and manager came to our table personally to apologize brought us the egg and gave us the discount. The whole time since we arrived they were all attentive! Definitely recommend!

Shay S.

Yelp
The ribs had a great flavor and our waitress Becca was phenomenal! Brisket cheese steak was 12/10

Isabella R.

Yelp
This smokehouse was amazing!!! Highly reccomend the Texas Cheesesteak and the Blue plate special to get a taste of various meats. The restaurant had a very calm and upscale atmosphere. The service was also over the top; Hilario was very attentive and informative on the menu! Couldn't say more good things about this place .

Andrew G.

Yelp
Good quality food in an upscale environment You could tell F1is still a relatively new restaurant trying to get its feet under itself. Many staff member came over to ensure our satisfaction throughout the meal. My cuban was okay, lacked a little meat and I could not taste the pickled onion. The broccolini had great flavor and was cooked well, but came in a small portion. This was a relatively expensive lunch, but may come back for special occasions.

JD M.

Yelp
We started with a delicious dip and chips, and a couple of jalapeño corn dogs. The dogs seemed to have smoked sausage in them, which was good, but I didn't find any heat as far as spice. There were jalapeño slices served with the corn dogs. The crust could have been a bit crispier. I really enjoyed the Cobb Salad. Quite different. Wish I had a photo, but it's a very nice crispy fried chicken breast atop a thick slice of iceberg with dressing, tomato's, bacon, hard boiled egg. Very unconventional in its presentation but absolutely delicious. My companions mostly enjoyed their BBQ. There was a thick cut pork chop, a brisket sandwich and some sliced brisket. Service was excellent and the venue is quite comfortable, sleek.

Yelp
It's the day before thanksgiving and some other places we found on yelp were closed. So this was our third choice, but I'm glad we ended up here. Apparently they have closed their clear fork food truck and opened this place a little over a month ago. The restaurant is medium sized, about 15 tables and a bar area. They had about 4 other parties when we arrived so it didn't feel too crowded, but not empty at the same time. It feels fancy, but it's not too over the top. They have cloth napkins, but no table cloths. It's nicely decorated--very modern. They even have a little fiddle leaf fig tree in the corner. There are a couple big screen TVs for sports and the bar area is nicely lit from the bottom of the counters. The chairs are comfy and slightly eclectic. It's a nice place! They have a hostess and a waiter and someone to refill waters. The service was great and our waitress was really nice and checked on us often. The food was also delicious and not crazy expensive. We ordered the wedge salad to share. It had some tomatoes and bacon bits. I thought it was pretty good and only $14. For entrees, my brother and I shared the Korean ribs and the prime rib so that we could try both. Both dishes were great. I kind of wish there was a different side for the pork. Maybe an Asian slaw or something. It also didn't come with a starch, which was ok because I had some potatoes from the prime rib plate, but just know if you only order the pork chop, it only comes with broccolini. The prime rib come with potatoes and broccolini. The prime rib was really excellent. I think a lot of places have stopped offering prime rib, but the prime rib here was tender and juicy and only $35! It had a nice au jus and a horseradish sauce that was perfectly horseradishy. Our waitress said all the desserts are great, but I had my eye on the berry cobbler already so she really didn't need to try very hard to sell us on dessert. It was perfect. It wasn't too sweet, it was filled with berries and had a light walnut topping and vanilla ice cream. Perfection. I'd definitely recommend F1 to anyone in Fort Worth wanting prime rib and/or cobbler :)

Barbara S.

Yelp
Ambiance was modern and crisp Our server was extremely attentive And best of all the food we ordered was excellent.

Mark J.

Yelp
We took 15ish from our weightlifting team in town for nationals at the Convention Center. Dinner was awesome and service was even better. Ike served us and made great recommendations including the amazing Pickle Juice Martini. Brisket was excellent and Mac&Cheese was delicious. Thank you Ike!!

Gill S.

Yelp
While some people may frown upon taking BBQ and giving it elegance, I feel this place is actually worth what theyre presenting (and charging). Walking in, I was struck by the beautiful interior design. It had a beautiful marriage of modern sleekness, while having just enough retro vibes to make it feel like I drunkenly stumbled back into an altered past. There were vibes of a 50s diner, but not in the traditional sense. There was a flair and brightness in the color palate, while never feeling gaudy or over the top. The Attentive and friendly staff were laying on their hospitality a little too thick for my taste, but it was right around 5pm, so it was much slower than a crowded Friday evening. They were pushing pretty hard for me to order alcohol, but none of their cocktails seemed unique enough to warrant a try. I didn't order a lot because I was prepared to go to a few other places that nice. The stack of ribs someone ordered next to me looked really good, but I had to stick with realistic portions as a solo diner. The fully loaded tots are fairly simple. Not as complex as I thought, but the cheese sauce they use coats the tongue really well. It was quite fascinating how much aftertaste power the cheese sauce had well after I was finished with the dish. The tots themselves were nice and crispy, even with the cheese sauce or my added ketchup on top. While I felt there could have been a few more tator tots, this was well executed as a sum rather than its parts. The brisket with broccolini and fancy plating of the bbq sauce. Probably the fanciest plating Ive seen for some bbq. The Brisket was tender, but it wasn't nearly as smoky as I liked. It did have a beautiful crust on the exterior. Amazing BBQ sauce! That stuff is divine! Had a smokey, savory, and a slight touch of chipotle to its profile that had me reaching for more sauce each bite. The broccolini was a delight! Fresh, seasoned, and cooked just right for this refreshing, firm texture.

Yelp
First time coming here. Javier was our server and was also training someone. We staryed out with the Loaded Tater Tots and Pepper Jack queso. Both quite tasty. Our party order the Classic Texas Beef Brisket, Baby Back Duroc Pork ribs. These were a little dry. I had the Korean style Double Cut Pork Chop. We were told by Javier it could be more on the spicy side. He was right. It was moist and the sauce had a kick to it for sure. Very tasty. Loved it even if I was sweating and my nose was running. A great dining experience with good food.

Arlene R.

Yelp
First time here, ee drove by and thought... hummm is this new? It is, just opened 2 weeks ago! We sat in the gorgeous courtyard because the weather is perfect to eat al fresco! We ordered the smokehouse chili. It's served with jalapeños, tortilla chips, brisket chunks, sour cream, and onions... the Smokey flavor come through so perfectly, with a touch of sweet and spice! Sooo delish! For our main dishes we ordered the brisket Cesar salad which so flavorful and creamy... smoky and served with buttery croutons. The brisket plate is served with potatoes salad both very tasty. The service, food, and ambiance were very enjoyable! I

Yelp
Love the aesthetic and their patio option. Their brunch menu was really good. Will be back for dinner! Great drinks

Anna B.

Yelp
Went for breakfast and had a great experience. Staff were friendly, food was brought out quickly, and tasted great. The chilaquiles was a standout dish. Even got to enjoy watching The Lone Ranger while we sipped on the complimentary coffee. Got out of there with two breakfasts, two coffees, and an OJ for just over $30 which I feel is pretty rare these days. I can't wait to go back and try their lunch/dinner menu.

Brad B.

Yelp
Dropped in by myself this evening after having some car repairs done nearby. I wanted to try the place because of the other positive reviews. I was not disappointed! Ordered the brisket cheesesteak sandwich with fries and I must say it was positively delicious. Great, tender, smoky beef with just the right amount of fat. Great gouda (I think) sauce which came on the sandwich and on the side (awesome for dipping the yummy fries.) The bar looked like an inviting place as well. My server was sweet and very attentive. She didn't miss a beat on refills and keeping everything timely. I'll be back soon to try pork chops and other things!

Whitney H.

Yelp
Food and service were exceptional! Highly recommend the queso-brisket dip and the chopped brisket melt. The lemonade was delicious as well!

J C.

Yelp
Dinner out with friends had us trying F1 for the first time. In a word, Great. Loved the casual western funk vibe and the 80's playlist. Seating was comfortable with all the staff being attentive, courteous but never intrusive. Appetizers of shrimp cocktail and jalapeño sausage corndog were shared and plentiful for four. Delicious way to start. I had the pork chop that was perfectly cooked with a delicious Korean style sauce. Everyone loved their entrees and we managed to share the amazing mixed berry cobbler as dessert. All of the meal from start to finish was fantastic. Can't wait to get back and try another dish!

Gabriel V.

Yelp
Really nice and really cool place. I thought the food was excellent. American/ Southern type of food. Really great service as well.

Allison E.

Yelp
The queso is good on its own. No need for the chunk of fatty brisket in the middle. If you can't taste it or eat it, don't add it. All the rest was really good! Totally will come back

Todd R.

Yelp
We tried F1 for the first time recently and can't wait to go back. We tried the Cuban which was awesome and the special of the day smash burger with Dr Pepper jam that was out of this world. Bar service was extremely friendly and fast. We will definitely be back. Oh, and the tots were crispy and hot and came with BBQ dry rub on them that really worked. Want to add that we've been back and the second visit was as good as we remembered.

Cordell P.

Yelp
Awesome lunch. My wife ate the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and I ate the chopped brisket melt sandwich. Both tasted really good. They came with tater-tots. They were crisp on outside. Jordan was our sever and she was excellent. Highly recommend.

Luis S.

Yelp
Don't put a label on this spot just go informed. There are no trays, no 3 meat plates or ordering by pounds & quarts here. What they do have is phenomenal food! Service was on point. f1 smokehouse could possibly be one of the next top 50! Order the burger and brisket! . We enjoyed a very chill and comfortable vibe. It was a pleasure meeting felipe armenta and his wife.. The highlight of the evening was seeing graham elliot again and getting the opportunity to chat a bit. .check it out.

Rye C.

Yelp
Yum. Still or sparkling water is not what you expect when sitting down at a BBQ restaurant. Sitting down to order is not what you expect at a BBQ restaurant. This is not a restaurant designed to meet expectations-- they take a food we know and love in a completely different, and welcome direction. Instead of ordering by the pound, F1 composes dishes and layers flavor. For example, I wouldn't have normally ordered truffle potato salad, but tucked under the brisket it was an amazing compliment... maybe my favorite bite of the night. We tried a lot, and each combination was a a surprise we passed around the table. Queso is topped with brisket, green chili and herbs. The cheeseburger has caramelized onions, bacon and Swiss with a giant pickle spear to cut the fat. The banana pudding comes with crispy flambé bananas sticking out the top. My drink was smoked table-side, but balanced by a honey stick in the glass. It was great, it was fun, and it was unexpected. Lastly, I'll note that this was night one for the restaurant... it is expected to have some hiccups in food or service, but everything was impeccable. Amazing, attentive and friendly service. I ate too much, but I'm happy.

Yelp
Husband and I stayed in the area and chose to try out F1 Smokehouse. It was a great decision because as soon as we walked in the hostess greeted us and made us feel right at home. Our waiter, Mocha, was so very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the wedge salad, stuffed baked potato, brisket plate , lemonade and the perfect dessert (berry cobbler a la mode)!! What a lovely place to dine. Thank you Mocha... you are awesome!
