TLDR: If you love good food, community, and getting what you pay for - you eat at Facade.
Miami Local here. I've seen it all...what comes, what goes, and what stays. I've eaten my way through my city, as there is no better way to understand Miami, than through its food. With that being said, over the years, we've lost "community" in these food spaces. And those that have maintained the "community" aspect, lacked quality, nuance, and FLAVOR. Then Facade came, and stayed, as it will...because it's exactly that: the perfect combination of community and really, really good food. Combine that with a staff that remembers you, what you like, what you don't, is happy to be there, happy to work (which we don't see often these days) - and I don't think any of that is a mistake. It's a reflection of Facade's leadership, of its love for food. Because I genuinely believe, if you love food, you love people. They coexist. Facade isn't going to stay because it's trendy, it's going to create roots because it stands alone. Anything that even slightly resembles what they've created here, clearly took inspiration and barely met the mark. You know that trend, "I won't tell anyone I won the lottery, but there will be signs.." yeah - mine is that I'll be here, every damn day.
