Google
Such an unique place to explore and honestly just escape the outside world and relax—make sure to get the glasses that make lights to rainbows. I could have fallen asleep on the large bean bag chair. Great experience, great staff!

Paige Belles

Google
Oh so much fun!! I went with my sister and nieces and it was such a fun exhibit! Will definitely have to come back with my friends! Love all the items in the gift shop from local artist!

Mandy Nordby

Google
We had so much fun here!! My 5yr old and 1yr old both had the best time checking out all the unique interactive art pieces. My 1yr olds favorite was the giant puff chairs and my 5yr old loved the slides which were really really fun. It was a great break away and felt like we were in another world for a while. Very unique and awesome experience!

Xander Ribierre

Google
For obvious reasons I didn’t put any pictures from the immersive exhibit itself. Factory Obscura was unlike any other art installation I have been to. A lot of fun and bizarre but dazzling pieces throughout. Also it supports local artists! The gift shop is one of a kind. Truly a fun experience.

Google
Very cool. Had to drag our 9 year old out, had to promise we would back soon. Highly recommend.

Google
Finally got to visit Factory Obscura and it did not disappoint! It's so wonderfully curated and I love that the staff really emphasized the work done by local artists to make it all happen. Definitely worth a stop if you're in or passing through OKC!

Google
Came across this place from a Tik Tok video and had to check it out in person when we were in the Oklahoma City area for a comedy show. This shop is a giant art installation and its super interactive! It's not geared just towards kids or younger age groups at all. There are elements designed to apply to folks of all ages and really appreciate the art and technique that went into constructing this interactive experience. Highly recommend!

Krystle-lee D.

Google
Really interesting art installation, a little bit creepy in ways. It was a fun experience- but not sure it was worth the entry price. And for being an interpretation of music it lacked...music. only 2 parts made noise. I'm glad we went, it wasn't my thing, but I'm sure its really cool to others because afterall art is subjective.

Yelp
If you have the chance, definitely go here! While visiting Okc, our friends took us to Factory Obscura and it was amazing! They give you these cool glasses that make everything even more cool than it already is, and as you walk in, you are greeted with so much cool art! All of it is touchable and many of the pieces give an incredible sensory experience. We took our 10 year old daughters, but my friend and I also had just as much fun as they did. It was just so cool and made me so happy to be there. It really made my day to have this experience, and I will 100% return on my next visit.

Yelp
Have you ever been to a Meow Wolf? This is our version of the museum but on a much smaller scale. Interactive museum just take your time going through it or you'll finish in 30 minutes. Do the scavenger hunt, try the slide, and take in all the creativity! Be sure to check out the fun shop too!

Yelp
Interesting spot to kill some time while you are in Oklahoma. We opted for the ticket that gave us access to Factory Obscura and the immersive Art Profitopia which featured a local band. Staff was really friendly and explained the procedure to us. They did let us know that the best way to enjoy the immersive art was with headphones (and they have some for you to borrow, along with adapters for Team Apple or Team Samsung). Without giving away too much details, it gave me escape room vibes. I definitely did not enjoy the music, it was not my taste but you can enjoy the event without headphones. Once we completed that experience we entered the immersive art. Pretty cool stuff, they have a variety of rooms all decked out in a variety of items. The lights and the 3D glasses add a nice wow factor. If you have 2 hours to kill, head on over.

Yelp
Large funky artsy place & has multiple unique photo opps! My kids loved it. Such beautiful and unique artwork. Well done ! Enjoy this solo, as a couple or in a group.

Yelp
I'm a huge Meow Wolf fan so this was right up my alley! Really cool exhibit, featuring local artists and fun interactive exhibits that put you in an exploratory state. I was really impressed by the creativity and details in every space. The gift shop has so many fun and reasonably priced items. The staff are so friendly and informative! I love the call back to Santa Fe Meow Wolf with the camera exhibit!

Yelp
Stopped off at Factory Obscura when I passed through Oklahoma City. I love that I found this gem. I did the package going into both the original mixtape and Time Swap which is tailored to their more recent exhibits. I started at Time Swap and the labyrinth reminded me of Hockney's Enchanted Forest at Luna Luna. The switch between eras as you're walking through the halls is a lot of fun. The slide in the main room was a great addition. Mixtape was so well made and had elements similar to the Mad Cap Motel. It's interactive and allows you to immerse yourself in the theme of each room. You can spend a lot of time walking through each individual world created. The space was created by local OKC artists and I believe it's worth the trip if you are in the area. The staff were super-friendly and answered any questions I had about the exhibits.

Yelp
I FINALLY got to witness Mix-Tape& the whole thing was the epitome of interactive. It was like a maze & that I'd be missing out on something if I didn't check out every door, ladder, corner, etc that was in the whole area. Rooms were either dark or bright, there was no in-between. Full of lights, paint, fixtures, clothes, books... I could go on & on about what you could touch, see & hear in the building. This is definitely a place for big groups of people or even couples if you're trying to have a date & get loose. Before you enter the attraction, there's a shop to the side that has ice cream, drinks, collectibles & merch. I tried one of the drinks by AFROPOP called Summer Nights & it was really good. There was an ice cream that I wanted so bad & didn't have any room for it due eating right before we visited, it was by Jeni's & the flavor was Powered Jelly Donut (there were some flavors in smaller sizes that I could've managed & the big one was gonna have to wait for me on the next trip). Everyone that worked there were super nice. They gave us the heads up on vendor markets & artist mixers they have as well. They emphasized a lot on working with artists. Something I can relate to expanding my career.

Yelp
Crazy cool place to spend time. Strange, weird, interesting. Looking for something to do? Come here and see something new.

Yelp
Me and my friend were in town on a girls trip and found this! It was such a fun experience. We did both the permanent and temporary exhibit available. It was 100% our vibe. It was amazing getting to interact with everything. We are both neurodivergent and the different textures and sounds were something we appreciated and enjoyed! It's a little pricey but worth it! the staff were pretty kind in the lobby, but the ones inside the museum seemed a little more guarded (probably for good reasons). The gift shop had a lovely selection and it's mostly local art, which I love to see.
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
So much fun! If you've gone to omega mart in Vegas is the same environment but smaller and felt more personable. Super cool experience.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
A hidden gem in OKC! Highly recommended for all ages, even people who don't usually like art galleries.

Theresa V.

Yelp
It was an ok place to check out, however the space is small and price does not jive with that. If a place is going to charge $25, it better take me longer then 20 minutes to see it all. Also the employees were all wearing masks and it's 2025...that was a little strange

Yelp
Second time coming here, my kids-5 and 6-begged to come back. They worked hard to fill up their kindness jar and, with it full this past week, we made plans to come today. They, again, loved the experience. It's a child's paradise with interactive exhibits, vibrant colors, and music. For my part, I love taking in all the little surprises hidden throughout the experience. However, as a parent, I think this place could say, "Kids allowed but not welcome." This place is marketed towards "all," but, like the first time, we felt followed the entire time and we were told to move our stroller by staff (we also have an infant) when we were simply trying to take the experience in. We are Native American and it does not feel good to be followed, whatever your reason. Beyond families, it makes me wonder how adaptive-friendly they are. It has narrow walkways and lots of crawling and climbing. I don't know that they truly are inclusive and accessible to all as their mission says. At any rate, this place is expensive, and if you have a family, it feels like you're paying for a staff shadow. I understand this is art, but you also made it interactive, and I feel like a balance can be struck so that families can enjoy the experience fully with their kids.

Sophia F.

Yelp
Honestly I thought this place was going to be boring, but boy I was wrong! It was truly one of my favorite experiences! This place is a good to take any of your loved ones and friends. The have so many hidden gems that really brought the place together! Def recommend to anyone!

Rae W.

Yelp
I had a great girls day with my friends here. It is very creative and something different.
google avatar

Nancy S.

Yelp
What a really cool venue! And every interaction with the staff was delightful. We went through the different rooms several times because there is something new to see from every angle. We just had a blast and great values in the gift shop.

Emily M.

Yelp
I've taken my kids (under age 7) here several times, and we all highly recommend! Everyone has been so kind and helpful (huge shout out to Meg for incorporating my kids into some art direction!) Such a fun experience each time.
google avatar

Shelby Z.

Yelp
Woah!! I happened to find this place last minute from an Instagram page, and immediately added it to our to-do list after seeing how cool it looked. And honestly, pictures do no justice. This place is even better in person! There is so much more to see here than just art. You will hear and feel it too. The Mixtape exhibit is all about feeling different emotions with music, you are also given 3D glasses and are encouraged to touch around the art. Each room was so creative and interesting. The art makes you curious to explore every nook and cranny that you can. You are also insisted to take your time, and really take in everything that is around you. This is a really awesome museum in OKC to check out!
google avatar

Masaru O.

Yelp
If you've heard of Meow Wolf, this is its little brother hidden away in Oklahoma City (note: I have not been to the official Meow Wolf sites). I think the artwork changes on a regular basis but on my visit, highlights included a surprisingly fast slide, some "eavesdropping" on visitors at Meow Wolf Santa Fe, and a teen girl's bedroom complete with meticulous journal. There's a lot of neon light and some fun music. Free diffraction glasses add to the experience. It would be amazing to do this while partaking in the local culture, not that I'd know anything about that. In a city that constantly fell short of expectations, this was a highlight.
google avatar

Brandi D.

Yelp
Pricey for the experience. My kids were excited at first and went through the whole thing in no time. It was different from anything we've ever done though. I would at least see it once.
google avatar

Nona C.

Yelp
I was looking for something to do after visiting Bricktown and just before my flight home. Based on reviews, I decided to give this place a try. It's similar to other places I've visited in Miami, Dallas, etc.. However, it's a little too out there for me. The materials used by the artists are clearly recycled, but I am not sure the items were actually ever clean before putting together the displays. The teenagers seemed to enjoy the space, but the adults (like myself) felt like it's a bit more "out there." You admission. make your own fun if you decide to visit, but it's not worth the $20 admisson.
google avatar

Colby R.

Yelp
Very cool sensory art and a few slides for indoor play. Kids loved the scavenger hunt and playing with interactive art. Cosmic show was okay. It's a little pricey for a 15min light/sound show while laying on a chaise lounge...
google avatar

Brianna I.

Yelp
Factory Obscura was one of the FIRST places I visited when I moved to OKC in 2021. When you look up "things to do in OKC," it's always one of the top five - and it certainly doesn't disappoint :) As someone who has been to more than a handful of interactive art museums, this one is one of the best Oklahoma City has to offer! It definitely is Meow Wolf-adjacent and ignites all of the senses. With colorful lights, music, and being encouraged to engage with it all, this is a great way to spend an afternoon. Plus, it's in a nice neighborhood of downtown, so it's easy to make a day out of it and grab food or check out the cute shops in the same block. They host live bands, live performers like aerial arts, and even have an adult night only. For a pretty cheap cost, this is worth it in my book!
google avatar

Brittany T.

Yelp
This place is so cool! I took 3 kiddos, a toddler and they all had such a good time! Definately got oversrimilating for the toddler aftera while but he never got bored, especially with the awesome, SUPER FAST slide!
google avatar

April G.

Yelp
This place was so much fun- we enjoyed completing the scavenger hunt with our son as it helped us scope out and take in more of the intricate deals that have been baked into the experience. Going down the slide with rainbow-vision glasses on was a trip. Staff were all very nice all well! I want to go back and take more people to discover it!
google avatar

Meg T.

Yelp
Took my 13/9 year old girls here and they liked it, but I don't think it was worth the money. The outside and even the lobby is really nice... I was expecting it to be similar to the Color Factory or IceCream museum.. A lot of things were falling apart and didn't feel clean. Seemed very DIY... I also thought we must have missed a turn somewhere so we ended up going back through again, but nope - it's just small, takes about 20 minutes to get through. It also smelled really bad. Lol The scavenger hunt and 3D glasses were fun!
google avatar

Beth K.

Yelp
So Much Fun!!!! Girls weekend and my sister told me this was a must stop. We had the best time. So many things to do, touch and experience.
google avatar

Aimee W.

Yelp
Wow. We have lived in the OKC area all our life. We saw this place open and let our skepticism hold us back from experiencing it for a while! Today we had the opportunity to take it all in just us on a date kid free and this place did not disappoint. The creative minds behind this whole experience is so incredible. Get curious! Explore. Let all your senses do the work and see the hidden gems this place has to offer. We can't wait to go back and keep looking and see what we missed before and even take the whole family.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome place I want to steal that little chair they have in the first room. It's just so nice and cozy with the little music playing inside. I often think about it. I would begin creating an exact replica of it and then get hired on as a low level employee. Then slowly work my way up the ranks to manager being both a fierce but compassionate leader. Once I have gained everyone's trust and the replica is complete I swap it out at night. I tell all the other workers " It's Christmas Go home guys I'll close her up tonight" Everyone thanks me and gives me looks of joy. I swap out the art piece once those idiots have left. As I walk away with the chair I take one final look back.... I realized I've come to love the crew and dedication they have for this place. As I have my back turned the last entry level employee I hired shoots me in my chest. "Lisa?" I say in confusion. She nods and fired a second round. "Que la paix soit avec toi Lisa" I whisper as the light leave my eyes. FIN Cool place though
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
Summary: nice AC, flashy lights, and background music'd lounge/hangout area for $25. Limited interactability. Not sure the theme/story. Can stay as long as you want but realistically takes you 15 min. Based on their website, I got the impression that it would be an interactive art/music experience. They give you glasses that distort the light and that part is an experience but there are limited interactables in the museum (5-6 things with limited interaction, a couple items like the movie box not consistently working). Bonus if you've been to Meowulf in NM. The whole visit estimated to cost ~45 min. We got thru for a complete first pass in 15 min. There isn't a clear story or progression so my wife and I went thru a couple more times to make sure we didn't miss thru anything for a total 20-25 min. Staff are helpful and nice.
google avatar

K T.

Yelp
This place really blew my mind! So whimsical, like you fell down the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland. I brought my 7, 6, and 2 year olds and they absolutely loved it! The glasses make it extra cool. The special exhibit they have right now "cosmic callback" was really cool as well. I'm not an art nerd, so I can't speak to that at all, but as a regular person I found this to be really, really cool, and a great place to bring young kids. It's definitely core memory material and very special. I saw a review where someone said it felt dirty and smelled bad, I did not find this to be true at all. The staff were very friendly and did not follow us around at all either.
google avatar

Via G.

Yelp
Came here with my husband and family during my mom and step-dad's vacation. We had a blast with the interactive art exhibits. Highly recommended for families and friends if you're in Oklahoma City.
google avatar

Yelp
It is the absolute best place in OKC. I have been taking my now 4 year old for two years each month to Mix-Tape. The staff is incredible and the VIBES! Such positivity and just coolness. Have also seen some of my fav bands (stepmom, Olivia Komahcheet, LABRYS) perform there and it's amazing. It's immersive. It's beautiful. I really can't recommend all of it enough.
google avatar

Juliette L.

Yelp
Took my youngest son here, and he loved it so much! When you first enter, the business requires you to wear a mask. Children must wear masks as well, and they supply masks for both adults and children, no additional cost. They tell you during payment, that if you ever take your mask off during your visit, they will ask you to leave without warning. So, if you're not a mask wearing individual or family then you might want to stay at home, because they tell you directly that masks must be worn at all times. The art work is really unique, and I loved the fact that you could let your child climb on stuff, open drawers, touch the art work, etc! There is a slide in one of the rooms, and my son was just obsessed. I will mention that big people probably shouldn't go down this slide, or you might get stuck. My only complaint is, I wished this place was larger with more interesting art, but we all still really enjoyed our visit especially my little one. He said it was his favorite place ever. Hope to come back with family and friends when they change out the building with new art.

Valerie P.

Yelp
I'm a big Meow Wolf fan, so when I was in OKC I knew a visit to Factory Obscura to see their Mix Tape exhibit was a must. It did not disappoint! I loved exploring all the nooks and crannies in this space. So many fun exhibits and interesting things to examine. There are even two slides! My friend and I had a blast checking it out; I highly recommend Factory Obscura to anyone that likes weird, interactive art.

Elise S.

Yelp
I certainly wouldn't go here again or recommend it. I'm not a modern art person- so that's part of it, but not the main part. Neither is the high cost for such a short/small experience. I think I got Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (MdDS) after coming here. There is a chance that the plane ride, or a combo of the two that caused it, and I think I am a fairly odd case- but now you are aware that it might happen. Its been around 5 weeks of almost non-stop dizziness. I cant drive, I can't do much work, some days I can't even read. Just now getting answers on what I can do (not a permanent condition). Very unlikely to happen to you by going to a full immersion place like this, but you should know it could.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
This place is so cool! Came here during our trip to Oklahoma city. It was a really fun and interactive experience. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out. They even have a slide! The only issue is parking in this area is kind of difficult. All in all though price was well worth it! Gift shop is super cool too.
google avatar

Rose J.

Yelp
What a great 1st time experience at 2020 Yelp elite event. I must say the factory is a eclectic visual experience. I've had a pretty long day and walking through was a short excursion. I must come back another day and bring my young niece. It's a great place to gather for fun, food and drinks. I really wanted to meet Julie the community manager, of which I did!!! I brought my hubby out but would also feel comfortable coming alone. I know what to expect and look forward to meeting other yelpers!
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
Mixed Tape is an incredible and unique immersive art experience. Built by local artists, my 2 and 4 year old loves it and we have been members for two years. Whenever the weather is closed or other kid-friendly places like the zoo are already closed, we love popping into Mixed Tape. There's lots of fun colors and textures, slides, rotating special exhibits, and festivals - something different every time! If you're looking for a fun and creative place to take your kids, this is it!
google avatar

Hugh K.

Yelp
In theory more than in actual practice, this is a nifty concept. The immersive art experience and multiple tactile sensations experience are interesting and engaging. But the facility is too small to truly allow for a fuller experience. Significant portions of it require low bending and crawling around, making it FAR more suitable for kids and teenagers than adults. It's also fairly pricey for the short amount of time that you are likely to spend there. Bottom line: Didn't dislike the experience BUT I don't really recommend it and definitely wouldn't go back again.
google avatar

Dayna G.

Yelp
Being at the Factory Obscura is like watching The Wizard of Oz while listening to Pink Floyd's album The Dark Side of the Moon COOLEST ADVENTURE I'VE EVER SEEN OR EXPERIENCED! - If you ever visit Oklahoma City - make time to visit

Micah R.

Yelp
It's not that interactive as it claims. It's cramped. And took us a total of 5 minutes to see everything then get bored.
google avatar

Tabitha D.

Yelp
The Atmosphere: this was such a cool place The Food: n/a The Service: the workers were very nice. It was lovely meeting one of the artists when shopping in the gift store. Cleanliness: everything felt very clean Bathrooms: I am not sure Parking: there was a parking lot behind the center Highlights: I loved the book hallway and the teen room the most
google avatar

Shantel M.

Yelp
This is a very fun art installation. It definitely has a lot of ig picture backdrops. With entry you get 3d glass that when you take a picture using that lens you get really trippy photos. I had a good time so did my dad and brother. I wish it was bigger , feels like I was in the installation 30 mins if not less. I got this really cool cassette player bag I cannot wait to wear. If you are in Oklahoma this is a must visit.
google avatar

Karol M.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Highly recommend!! It's incredible what the artist collective is able to create in the different rooms. You can touch and interact with the art. Be prepared to take LOTS of pictures/selfies because it's just so cool!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
This was trippy and a bizarre experience that was still such a blast. Honestly if you do this without the light fracturing glasses, you're missing out.
google avatar

Jacob M.

Yelp
Very unique. Not my scene but very well thought out. My young daughter loved all the lights and moving items.

Faith M.

Yelp
Smaller than you think but very cool!! Staff were nice and helpful!! Would go back again but kind of pricey..
google avatar

Brandy W.

Yelp
This is not, I repeat not, my normal type of business to visit. My wife is a flower child. She loves art. She is a free spirit. She drug me here kicking and screaming all the way. I am happy she did. It was an amazing walk through experience that was able to be enjoyed while still fully tethered to the Earth. It had so many overwhelming experiences I believe you could spend multiple hours, which we did not have time for, or you could make multiple visits easily. We will be watching for special events as I cannot wait to come back in comfortable clothes to really interact in all the climbing and slides and secret passages!
