"A brilliant idea for the coffee lover: serve multisourced coffees, kombuchas, and teas at one place. That's what Fairgrounds Coffee and Tea, the coffee shop in the recently redone Mayfair Hotel, does. Come here and you can get a Blue Bottle latte and your friend can get a Stumptown pour-over. The same goes for its bagged teas and coffee beans. We suggest trying something from the elixir menu, like the Flower Power Milk Tea: bright-blue Thai butterfly pea tea blended with matcha, jasmine syrup, and coconut milk. Slightly sweet, it's perfect paired with the vegan breakfast sandwich and enjoyed in one of the comfy chairs next to all the leafy plants. "

Cool Chicago-Based Coffee Bar Opens Inside LA’s Mayfair Hotel This Week | Eater LA

"In the corner of the building, Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea has opened as a roaster-agnostic shop that lets customers choose beans from multiple roasters (expect offerings from Verve, Stumptown, Dark Matter, Ritual, and more) and buy beans for at-home use. There are other takeaway goods like juices and pastries, plus teas, matcha, and on-tap drinks such as kombucha. Morning patrons can expect plush banquette seating and stools (16 spots total), plenty of sunlight, lots of greenery, and a marble counter up front for grab-and-go service; a limited daytime menu will offer items like sandwiches and salads. Hotel guests or diners can also access Eve American Bistro across the lobby or head to the back for a stiff drink at the library bar. Baristas will be pouring as early as 6 a.m., and Fairgrounds officially opens on Wednesday, August 15." - Farley Elliott

I was there before a show in LA and popped into this place for a quick bite. Even though their oven wasn't working, I decided to stay and have their cold option which was a turkey brie sandwich with a delicious apple slaw and chips. I also had a latte which was equally delicious. Would definitely recommend!

A new coffee shop in the middle of nowhere!? under a fancy hotel!? This spot was so cute! I am definitely going back once I find an easier way to find parking 😄 I only got their caramel cold brew based in chicago but I am eager to go back for more! (:

Very cute, lots of food & coffee options. My overnight oats were delicious and the coffee is 👌🏼.

I had an opportunity to make it to the level of genius men who’ve studied under the wisdom of chuck Norris this has been my greatest accomplishments around the art of brewing coffee. I thank you each of you for coming out today and joining me on this yelp review, check me out on YouTube - IfAndyCantHelpYou

Newly open coffee shop in the neighborhood, breakfast all day menu, teas, coffee, etc. Nicely done.

The pancakes are perfection! I've been twice now. Expect it to take a long time (about 30min) but be patient! It's so worth it! The toppings are perfect and all the flavors are paired perfectly. I've had the mango and the creme brulee. The drinks are also great. I especially loved that the fruity drinks taste like real fruit and even have seeds from the fruit (like dragon fruit), rather than powdered or syrup flavoring.

Friendly but slow service. Good variety of milk options (whole, nonfat, almond, oat, coconut…) and a pretty large food menu as well. I got a scone which was a bit dry but was still tasty (especially with the amazing lemon icing), and an oat milk latte which was perfect! The environment of the cafe is great, very small and well decorated. Parking is tough around here but if you're lucky enough to snag a spot nearby, this cafe is worth walking a couple blocks.

Yes that accept the place is very comfortable. The coffee is very good but not at a very hot temperature. The tea is highly overpriced and you won't find a good standard cup of tea here. the earl grey has lavender their breakfast he is Chinese so does not go well with milk if you take it that way. It is definitely trying to be a modern version of something at a steep cost however it is an enjoyable place to spend a few moments in the morning or if you happen to be staying at the hotel.
