Fairmont Ambassador Seoul

We had an excellent stay at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul. Our suite was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We took advantage of the Fairmont Gold lounge on the third floor, where we enjoyed breakfast and happy hour. The service was impeccable! Everyone we encountered greeted us and were eager to help us in any way. We found all the staff at this hotel to be very professional, highly trained and extremely service-oriented. Although the hotel's location is perhaps not as central as some others; there is a bus stop right outside the front door and a metro stop about 500m down the street.

We had an excellent stay at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul. Our city-view suite on the 27th floor was quiet, spacious and thoughtfully appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and happy hour at the Ambassador Gold lounge. The food was quite good and there was a variety of drinks available.||We had to book a time slot to use the pool, which I assume they do to control numbers as the pool is divided into a lap side and a free swim side, making it fairly small for a hotel of this size. It was spotlessly clean and the spa change rooms were luxurious, with robes, slippers, Dyson hair dryers, and lovely skin care products. ||In terms of location, there isn't much in the immediate area except the luxury Hyundai shopping mall. You can walk to a metro stop about 500m away, but the ride takes some time to get from point A to B since the train has to cross the Han River. On our previous visit to Seoul, we had stayed in the Dongdaenum district, which we found was a more convenient location for sight seeing. ||Finally, the service at the Fairmont Ambassador was impeccable! Everyone we encountered greeted us and was eager to help us in any way. We especially want to thank Farah (apologies if I misspelled her name), who was extremely attentive and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. There was also a young man in the Gold lounge who brought us a fresh glass of champagne when we decided to linger there after happy hour had ended and everyone else had left. I did not get his name but he made us feel welcome. These thoughtful, kind moments from the staff really enhanced our stay.

We had a wonderful stay from the moment we arrived in the property all the way until the last moment we checked out. They took our bags brought them into the lobby and we were escorted to check in right away. We had many questions since this was our first time in Korea and concierge Sunny was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Her English is excellent and much appreciated so she was such a good resource for everything. We loved the room. It was nice and spacious and very clean. Had all the amenities we needed. We did the breakfast buffet both mornings and were very pleased with the selection. Best breakfast buffet I’ve had by far, and I’ve stayed in many five-star hotels. Earl at the breakfast buffet, who I believe is the manager, had excellent customer service as well. Even though it was the buffet, he went and got so many things for us. We really enjoyed the pool as well. I really liked that you have to make a reservation. It was never crowded and there were plenty of areas to lounge readily available. We will definitely be coming back because we had such a nice experience throughout our entire stay. Sunny really made us feel welcome and acknowledged us every time we were in the lobby, asking if we had any question or needed anything. I would highly recommend this Fairmont to all my friends, family, and colleagues. Can’t wait until we can come stay with you again!

This kind of anticipatory service reflects genuine attention to guest comfort. Property and Location: The accommodations are beautifully appointed, and the property itself is stunning. The proximity to Hyundai Center and direct mall access adds significant convenience for shopping and dining. Staff Excellence: While the physical facilities certainly merit five-star status, it's the staff that transforms this into an extraordinary experience. Their professionalism and genuine warmth create an atmosphere where guests feel truly valued rather than simply processed. Overall Assessment: The Fairmont Ambassador Seoul has earned our loyalty. My daughter and I will specifically choose this property for future Seoul visits because they've demonstrated that exceptional hospitality comes from people who take pride in exceeding expectations. I must say my stay for the first time at FA Seoul is memorable and enjoyable. Check-in was smooth where I was assisted by front office staff but felt not privileged as ALL Platinum member in the beginning. After I entered my room then I knew my privilege was recognised even though the welcome amenity was average but I still appreciated it. Breakfast was so nice and had many food options. Location is very strategic in the middle of Yeouido and nearby shopping mall, hangang park, restaurant, etc. Overall, I am satisfied with hotel service and hospitality during my stay. I will be back here again when I visit to Seoul in the future.

The hotel’s overall environment and facilities are of a high standard. The rooms are well-designed, spacious, and comfortable. All hotel staff are friendly and responsible. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom cleanliness could be a bit more thorough. Overall, the stay experience was very good.

The experience starts with a warm welcome by the staff and clear explanation about the facilities available at the hotel. Rooms are nicely designed, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast with ample choice for all tastes. You feel that the staff is continuously looking to make your stay as relaxed as possible. A wonderful experience on a busy day.

The three night stay was more than we expected. The room was excellent and the service staff was exceptional. The Concierge staff, especially Esther, were so helpful and accomodating. Even being greeted at the entrance by Thomas was a pleasant experience. Everyone at the hotel should be commended on their job performance. We highly recommend staying there.
