In-Person Iftar: Where Montreal’s Muslim Community Goes to Break Fast During Ramadan | Eater Montreal

"Chickpea and hummus lovers will find their paradise at Abou Hanna in Pierrefonds. The all-vegetarian menu satisfies with several varieties of falafel sandwiches, balilla—chickpeas with lemon, garlic, and spices—and musabbaha, a whole-bean hummus." - Ivy Lerner-Frank

Every single time we visit this restaurant, we are greeted with a smile and amazing food. The fatteh is so tasty and the best falafel hands down! Highly recommended!

I visit this place almost every week. It's a family-owned business, and the people here are incredibly welcoming. The food is always delicious, and if you compare their menu prices with similar restaurants in Saint-Laurent, Laval, and Montreal, you'll find they are the most affordable. I highly recommend you come and try it for yourself!

The owner is incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. The falafel was fresh, perfectly crispy, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of comfort food that hits the spot every time.

Tried the MUSABAHA...so good. Foul an falafel were delicious. Nostalgic soda glass bottles. A good cup of tea with mint after the tasty meal. They serve both: green tea and black tea with fresh mint.

Excellent Falafel sandwich. Everything is so fresh. I love the fact that they put mint in the sandwich. The fatteh is also delicious.

Fresh and affordable Middle Eastern hole in the wall with outstanding falafel made to order. The Fatteh is my favorite dish on the menu and the hummus is excellent, as well. All vegetarian. The very friendly owner and staff makes you want to come back.

Yelp
If you are a vegetarian or a vegetarian wanna-be, then this bistro is what you want to try. Always nutritious and always vegetarian but most importantly served with a smile. Reasonably priced and certainly will leave you full. So yes, go ahead and eat less meat and get the same nutrition elements that your body needs with less of the guilt

Yelp
I had some falafel.yesterday, unfortunately they were the worse I have ever had in my life. It is an embarrassment. All they do once in your m out is noise and no taste.

Yelp
Came in on a Wednesday at lunch, very excited to try their falafel sandwich based on the reviews... Came in, nobody behind the counter, 3 guys talking in a corner. One of them goes behind the counter, looks like he might work there. We both walk to the cash, at least I thought we were, he picks up his cellphone and goes on to talk for 5 minutes. Never looked at us. Never said hi. So unprofessional... Honestly, I'll stick to my usual spots where the falafels are delicious and people actually serve you...If you read the reviews on different platforms you'll see that ALL bad reviews are pretty much same experience as mine... the guy is a loser go spend your money elsewhere. Lebanese spots are a dime a dozen in Montreal, I know I'm Lebanese... lol
