The last time I was here they only had falafel and vegan shawarma. The chicken items are BOMB!!! Could basically drink the habibi sauce lol. Should out to Angie, I wanted to take a pic of her but I think got shy lol

Absolutely obsessed with Falafel Inc. This place is hands down one of my favorite spots, and I genuinely look forward to it every time. Whether I’m grabbing a crispy falafel sandwich or one of their heavenly halal chicken bowls, the food is always fresh, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. But what truly sets this place apart is the warmth and kindness of the people who work there. The service is consistently lovely, they remember faces, greet you with genuine smiles, and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. It’s not just a meal; it’s a moment of pure joy in my day. A true gem that deserves all the love and more!!

I’m a student at UCLA and was walking around when I walked into Falafel Inc. I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked in but the nice girl in front (I think her name was Angelique/Angela) asked me a bunch of questions about both my diet and how hungry I am, and convinced me to try the vegetarian bowl. It’s hard to find vegan/vegetarian spots in general, let alone tasty vegan/vegetarian food. Just wanted to give a shout out to Angela/Angelique for the recommendation and to Hayley for making the food quickly! Will definitely be coming back! Cheers :)

Amazing chicken and rice, will definitely return for more. You have the option of self-serving sauce (6 flavors to choose from 🤯) which is awesome. The flavor of the rice is on point 👌🏽 the chicken hits the spot 😋 Much MUCH better compared to any Halal Guys in SoCal in general.

Absolutely fantastic food, atmosphere, and people. Workers are serving absolutely delicious food with a smile on their face for an absolutely amazing cause. One of the best things about this place is the affordable price, especially given that it is right next to UCLA which makes it much more affordable for students here to get a great bite for a cheap buck. They have multiple vegetarian options and Halal options as well that are all delicious; my current favorite is the shawarma sandwich. There is seating both inside and outside, but my favorite place to eat my food is standing next to the sauces cause I always want more. Thank you Falafel Inc for not only making fantastic food but also doing good in the world with what you do for refugees.

When you offer food this cheap specially in a area like Westwood all I expect is the food to be average and I'll be happy but falafel Inc. Is waaay above average. Everything is so fresh from the crispy falafel to the pickled onions. U can get a fries and a loaded pita for under 12 bucks in 5-10min. They also have their soy shawarma which packs a lot of spices so if you're looking for subtle flavor go for the falafel. Only problem I have about this place is the tables and chairs outside. I had the same ones from ikea and they are horrible. They're not stable, the sauce cups fall through the gaps, and the table is barely big enough to keep your food. It's almost like they don't want you to dine in. If they switch out the seating for better/ more comfortable ones that'd be great. Just a friendly suggestion!

I am here at least once per week for delicious and reasonably priced zaatar fries and falafel. The falafel is so crispy but also not at all dry. The sauces are so tasty and I could eat the garlic sauce by itself.

Falafel Inc has the most amazing service and their food is a 10/10! I recommend you get the zataar fries and the hummus! Definitely a go-to, especially as a college student who needs quick, easy, and yummy food!

I had a chicken and rice place, zataar fries and falafels. It was delicious, fast, and affordable. This was great value for the meal and it was healthy and yummy. The sauces were all delicious and my favorite was the habibi and the red spicy sauce. It's a grab and go with some searing and the service was wonderful. However, the store should consider replacing its Coca Cola and Pellegrino (Nestle) products with BDS-safe products. Lots of people are supporting this store as the owner is Palestinian. They should consider this in what types of products they sell. I recommend the "No Thanks" app to check which brands are on the boycott list and the reason for it.

What a gem in Westwood Village. Went to the Hammer museum and found this on Eater LA. Ordered a chicken bowl, falafel sandwich and zaatar fries and it came out to $21 (doesn't include tip). Where can you find this meal for two for that amount these days?!?! There was a waiting area inside and chairs for 6 people outside. If you want a quick, healthy, delicious and reasonably priced meal for under $10 per order, do check out Falafel Inc.

Worst service every time!!! Beware people, they now serve CHICKEN. so all I asked for was some lettuce instead of their close to uncooked white rice. NO SUBS. so all I can eat safely is the plant based meat and cucumber salad for $8. I do not want chips cooked with CHICKEN. Last time I was there it was so hot, the worker was sweating. I felt so bad for her. Asked her if she gets to keep her tips and she said no unless I tip her cash so I did. THE FRIES ARE GOOD. HOPING THEY are not cooked with the CHICKEN! After today, I hope to avoid this place but I do like the fries. If you are allergic, be careful. They usually put yogurt or sauce on everything by accident even if you tell them many times you are vegan.

Falafel Inc. was created to be an affordable and Vegan option for those who want a taste of the Palestinian flavors the owner grew up with in his family of refugees. The walls are lined up with the same plywood material used in falafel stands in refugee camps with photos of refugees lining it. For every $10 spent, the restaurant donates and guarantees feeding one refugee one day worth of meals through the World Food Program. I ordered the shawarma sandwich and baklava and I wasn't disappointed. The service was quick and they had my shawarma warm and ready within minutes. There are benches inside the restaurant to wait on or eat your food quickly; otherwise there are three tables outside that could seat 6 people in total. I highly recommend this place! Excellent spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Extremely fairly priced, and a nice portion. Love the zaatar fries, and also enjoy the falafel. I cannot recommend this spot enough. The only downside is that there are only a few tables outside, but so far we've been able to snag a spot every time. This is one of our go-to spots when we're looking for a quick bite in the area.

By far the best place for college students to eat in Westwood. Everything is so inexpensive and filling! You can get an entire meal for well under $10! The shawarma wrap and za'atar fries are my guilty pleasure, especially with the garlic and habibi sauce!!!

Best falafel bowl EVER! I ordered a falafel bowl and a side of pita bread and the total came out to $7! This is extremely accessible for students in the area who want quality food and want to spend money carefully! They have all of their sauces on the counter for you to use without charge!! The employees are sweet and down to earth! The only bummer is their outside seating tables are a bit janky. Our drinks kept getting knocked over with the slightest of movement. Go and try their falafels and pita bread the next time you're in the area :)

Came for a wrap but ended up with a chicken bowl! Menu is simple, falafel and vegan options as well as fries. Food prepared fresh and quick. No indoor seating but three tables available outside. You can add more sauces on the side with small ramekins at the sauce table. Tasty!

Oh to be a college student in LA... but places like Falafel Inc are heroes on the days you feel like eating out. Came here at opening on a Sunday morning and got a falafel bowl for $6. It doesn't look like much, but it's super filling, and of course very delicious. If you want a little something extra, the zataar fries are also great. The workers are really friendly and work fast -- we got our food in no time. No indoor seating, but there's a few tables outside. Great place if you want some good eats going to a good cause and for affordable prices!!

Food with a Purpose Food: was fire (insert emojis here) Fresh and fast service I met the Chef and he explained their platform and assured me that he cooks everything from scratch- my kinda Chef! Service was friendly and fast - I had no wait and the meal was well priced. I got the a famous Chicken Bowl with rice for less than $9!!! Ambience- place was small and cute. Clean and modern vibes. Very in and out with waiting room indoors but no real customer seating. This is definitely more of a on the go venue catering to the college students near UCLA. Delicious chicken bowl for $9 - nuff said! They also have a bar with 6 sauces and all of them are really good. (See pic) Right in downtown Westwood across from the Bruin theater on UCLA campus so parking can be challenging. Looks like mostly takeout because there's no tables inside - 3 tables out on the sidewalk. If you're in the area and want a good & fast meal, this is it!

What a lovely restaurant! $5 for a falafel sandwich + $4 for zaatar fries left me eating loads of food for under $10! The falafels themselves aren't dry at all (which I find happens with some mediterranean places) and the flavors were amazing. I came in a little before closing, and the workers were very kind and accommodating despite being mid-cleanup. Falafel Inc is in a great location right in the heart of Westwood, and I would recommend to anybody in need of a quick, satiating meal.

The new chicken wrap was fantastic! Reasonably priced and reasonably filling for a quick lunch. If I was hungrier I would have gotten two. And the sauces? There are so many to choose from and they all are quite delicious. Will be back to try more of the menu! A bit cramped to get in an and out but they have more space in the back--we perched on some tables outside and it was chill during a weekday lunch hour, seems turnover is quick.

Food is still top-tier and they've recently come out with some great new options! My personal favorite is still falafel sandwich with fries! Try their mazbout sauce it's so tasty. Servers are always so sweet and friendly. Nice location in Westwood, definitely a regular here.

Can't speak highly enough of this place! Food is very fresh and DELICIOUS and SO AFFORDABLE. I got the falafel sandwich which was 5$. Thought it would be really small but it was enough to fill me up! The falafel is 10/10. And the pita was filled with ingredients! They definitely don't skimp out on ingredients. And the different sauces are fire. There's about 5 options ranging from garlic to spicy sauce. Service was very quick and efficient. Store is small, there's a bench in there to sit and wait for your order but only 2 tables outside so I had no where to sit and eat which sucked. But otherwise good experience.

The food is amazing and taste great love all the different sauces and the price is great!. Dropping one star because they said my to-go order was ready and when I got home I noticed I was missing an entire food item. I should have checked but I was in a rush and well since they said it was ready I trusted them.

I absolutely love coming here. The food is so so affordable, with most (if not all?) things on their menu being under $10, and their falafel sandwich (my favorite) being ~$5. When I first came here to get a free sandwich for their anniversary celebration, I expected it to be a quick snack-- but it was so filling and satisfying despite first impressions of its size. The falafel is slightly crunchy, moist, and savory. I love trying all the different sauces that you can get here!! I've also gotten the zaatar fries before, which were so delicious. The spices were so aromatic and there was so much flavor. Pros: Wonderful food, vegetarian/vegan menu, quick service, affordable. Cons: Just a note that there is no dining inside, and really only 2 small tables right outside.

The falafel sandwich is delicious especially with the Janine and red sauce. The falafel is moist and flavorful to me. Want your falafel craving quick in a pita or a bowl this is a perfect place to grab it fast. Eat outside or take it to go.

It's rare to find a food place where the food is good, affordable, and your money is actually being used to help those less fortunate. The food never disappoints. I've had the chicken bowl which was delicious. In addition, I remember trying the shawerma (which I didn't realize was vegan until after I finished). Highly recommend this over Cava any day.

*This place would have been a 5 star if it wasn't for the service I received* The food was amazing, portions are big and it tastes great. I enjoyed the falafel sandwich and was able to share it with another person. I had a bad experience with the employee I spoke to because when I asked them what I should get and how everything works, I was given a rude response: "Look at the menu and figure it out." This was absolutely uncalled for as I was new to the place and have never tried it before. It may have just been my experience or the person may have been having a bad day, but it was not acceptable. This Restaurant is in a prime location, walking distance from UCLA! There is lots of space to eat the only issue is getting parking, but that's always an issue in Westwood anyways. Overall, great place just disappointed with the service I received. If I try this place again and receive better service I'd consider updating this review to a 5 star.

the food is SO good and I love that it is all halal! There aren't too many halal options in Westwood so to have falafel inc taste amazing and be halal is a great deal! the chicken shawarma is my personal favorite i recommend it for everyone who enjoys flavorful food! Falafel Inc is a great place to get affordable and tasty food in Westwood! It's also a restaurant with a greater mission, with a certain percent of proceeds helping feed refugees in need. In the past, I've tried the falafel sandwich, shawarma sandwich, and fries. All are fresh and flavorful! It's one of the few places you can get a meal for under $10 in Westwood. Today I tried the chicken and rice bowl (a new menu item). They have a large selection of sauces - definitely try them all, especially the habibi and the garlic sauce. One question I have because it isn't clear - is the chicken actually chicken, or is it a fake "chicken"? I initially thought this spot was vegetarian, but now I'm not sure. Either way whatever it is tastes good. Currently there's limited indoor seating (it's benches in the back with no table) but outdoor seating is available.

I had a nice bowl of rice and chicken shawerma. It isn't as good as halal guys, but it is definitely an option for delicious quick lunch. I am giving only 3 starts because of the service. The customer service wasn't as the same level as their good bowls. I asked for the hot sauce. The cashier kept pointing out at their sauces and told me to use this, but it's not what i am looking for, and finally, i found a sign with their sauces, and the red one is listed. She said we were out. Why don't you tell me that from the beginning or they were just lazy to fill it because it was an end of the day.

The best destination for a cheap, refreshing meal. Cheap as in $6!! A price you really can't find often anymore, especially for Mediterranean food. The falafel bowl is a bed of spinach packed with red cabbage, tabouli, tomato + cucumber, very acidic pickles, and zaatar chips. The whole bowl is very citrus-y which I personally like but if you're not a fan then heads up. It comes with 8 tiny falafels but it's honestly the perfect amount for the size of the bowl. It's not too crispy on the outside but the inside is delicious. I also sampled a lot of the sauces and my favorites are the Habibi (their flagship sauce) and the Red (kind of reminds me of Frank's Hot Sauce). Also, the service was incredibly fast. I put in my order and not even 10 seconds after I packed my sauces, my order was ready. I'd say about 4 minutes tops. It's a fast-casual place, however, so there's no space to dine-in although the inside is pretty spacious towards the back.

Who says No to a fresh, healthy and cheap meal!! I was in the area and I saw the sign for $6 falafel bowl, so honestly I give it a try for curiosity. I just ordered falafel bowl and I added hummus one pita bread. The falafel bowl comes with nice amount of salad. The falafel and salad were fresh and tasty. I ended up paying around $8 which is very nice for a healthy meal. I wish I could know it was that good, so I could order extra orders from their menu. I totally recommend this place!

I'd never had Middle Eastern food before and Falafel Inc. was a delicious introduction to the cuisine! Super affordable, quick, and conveniently located by UCLA. A bit spicy at first but really jam-packed full of flavors and pairs wonderfully with both sauces. Was a hit for catering!

Just yum and shocking good value for fresh fresh fresh ! Every meal feeds a refugee! $5. Falafel bowl $3 fries and 5 dollar falafel pita sandwich, whoa ! Fresh affordable food that does good. Visited a falafel joint in Westwood and was quite disappointed. For a place that boasts authentic Middle Eastern flavors, it fell quite short of expectations. The falafel balls, which should have been the star of the show, were dry and lacked the crispy exterior one would expect. Instead, they had an almost stale taste, which was further accentuated by an overpowering and unbalanced tahini sauce. The ambiance didn't do any favors either. Tables were sticky, and it took ages for the staff to clear away leftover plates from previous patrons. Trashy and uncomfortable vibe. To top it off, the service was sluggish, with long waiting times that did not match the quality of the meal. I've had much better falafel experiences elsewhere and won't be returning to this spot in Westwood anytime soon.

came in to celebrate their YELP award. i can see why they won! other falafels i had were really dry. this one was so good and filling. great flavors and bread was just right too. came with a dessert from knafeh queens and that really wrapped up the experience well. place is a little smaller but just fine fire westwood. service was great with a kind staff. thank you! will return with friends :) - @losangeles4everybody

Stopped by here after a Dodger game. Food was very fresh and tasty. They had 4 or 5 sauces on hand to spice things up Super affordable, perfect for Westwood. Only suggestion would be more attentive to the outdoor sitting area. Trash on the ground and dirty tables. Otherwise food was delicious!

Falafel is a tasty place to grab a quick and inexpensive lunch! I was looking for a relatively healthy and light lunch and found Falafel on my Yelp search. Ordering was fairly easy because there are only a handful of items on the menu. Note: adding hummus to your order is $1 extra. The falafel bowl consisted of a bed of spinach topped with 8 crispy falafels, red cabbage, tabbouleh, tomato, cucumber, dressing, and zaatar chips. On the side counter there are sauces you can use to add more flavor to your meal. I honestly only tried 4 of them and they were all delicious (garlic, mazbout, red, and habibi sauces). I definitely will be back when I'm in the mood for a light Mediterranean meal.

Simple, decent falafel sandwich that satisfies your Mediterranean craving. Not too much, not too little, just enough. They have a nice variety of sauces, unfortunately a lot of the sauces ran out and they just had the tahini and white sauce. White sauce was like a mild ranch, nothing very special. The sandwich did come with some mild to medium spicy sauce along with lettuce, cucumbers, cabbage.

Quality and taste is better than average, not a fan of the setup. The falafel sandwich is small, decent snack, but if you're really hungry it's probably not enough. There's a lot of veggies and sauce which is nice. Extra sauces are in squeeze bottles and I'm not sure if you can ask for a little container for that or you just drizzle on what you want. Service was a little dry. I thought it was funny that the napkins were a roll of paper towels, kinda makes the whole thing feel like going into someone's home kitchen... but with music that's so loud you can barely hear the cashier and they can barely hear you.

This is my favorite food find since starting work at UCLA. I come nearly every single week, you honestly can't go wrong with a falafel bowl filled with spinach, cabbage, pickled veggies and pita chips-topped with freshly fried falafel balls. For $6 and change it's the best deal you will find and you get a half dozen sauces to top your food with. The habibi sauce has been a new favorite of mine along with the alien sauce. Every time it's just as delicious as the last.

Only a pair of outside tables. Counters inside. We had a very large falafel salad and a good sized falafel pita. Both really good.

I had just returned from Israel and I was wanting a falafel. I decided to give this place a try. It's not as good as the ones in Israel but it was OK.
