Our stay at the hotel was incredibly relaxing. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a stunning sea view. The breakfast was exceptional, providing a perfect start to each day of our one-week stay. Ahmed from breakfast deserves a special mention. His attentiveness and positive energy made us feel welcome every morning. We are grateful to the reception team for their efficient service, which made check-in and any requests easy. We would also like to express our thanks to the hardworking housekeepers. The fitness area was amazing. We'll definitely come back again.

The hotel is surrounded with gorgeous nature. The garden is well maintained and beautiful beach is easily accessed from spa area. Hotel and rooms were comfortable, maybe in need just a tiny tidying up in some parts. Black spa was brilliant with several saunas and great hamam area. Earth sauna with a panoramic view to the sea was probably one of the best saunas I’ve ever been in! Food was fresh and tasty and staff very friendly. Thank you for great and relaxing time!

The location and exterior (and views, of course) are worth every penny. The room (Double Deluxe, Sea View) is spacious and beautiful, but it should be cleaned better (I found hair that was not mine on the bed on the spot for other person, floors were dusty and found some spots). Wellness area is exceptional, but it should also be swept more often due to a lot of water from walking, so the floor is slippery. I only had breakfast that was on a 5* hotel level. Staff at the reception is friendly and professional, but the rest of the staff made an impression that they hate their work.

The Falkensteiner is definitely a huge beautiful property. It just is having some maintenance issues. General property maintenance. The room is nice and has an amazing view, but there were some areas in the flooring that were very poorly repaired and you can see the carpet in the hallways stained and tattered in some areas. The beautiful pool and spa area were amazing as well, but for some reason, the lounge chairs and umbrellas were strewn all about the lawn as if a hurricane had just hit. Which it hadn’t. I opted for the room and board service which included breakfast and dinner and to be honest dinner was definitely just average. The first night I had dinner my pasta was cold as well as the fish and I arrived at 7:15 and the buffet did not even open until 7 so I’m not sure why it would’ve been cold. Definitely underwhelming. The second night they redeemed themselves a little bit, but the Service getting drinks is a little bit slow and it’s just not hitting all cylinders. I didn’t really understand the area very well - and just realize that this property is 25 minutes from old town Zadar if that’s anything that you may want to see. I really enjoyed the walkway around the property. There is a perimeter walkway that is over a mile that surrounds the property and goes down the coast line. It is very beautiful.all in all it was good. It just wasn’t as awesome as it could be.

October 29,2024. This was NOT one of the best luxury hotel we stayed at in Croatia. Rooms are clean but very dated. No USB ports in the room. Pillows were gawd-awful chip foam filled. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Line up for coffee machine was horrendous. Definitely NOT worth the 230 euros!/night

I had an exceptional stay at Iadera. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and immaculately clean. The amenities, including the spa and dining options, were top-notch. I especially loved the stunning views from my room. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury and relaxation. Will definitely return!

I was very disappointed when we arrived at the hotel although it grew on me during our stay.||Firstly, the design of the room. It is weird to have a bathroom with no door, only a curtain separating the main bedroom. Who likes that? If you go to the bathroom in the night and wash your hands, you disturb the room.||Secondly the rooms are slightly dated and our air conditioning worked badly, with a poor output. I did call them to fix this but it wasn’t working even after this properly.||Buffet food is a bit strange. Breakfast is ok, dinner is odd. It’s also odd not to have a pasta option for the children at the buffet. |Swimming pools and beach is nice.||Reception and front of house seemed a bit overwhelmed.||It isn’t a 5* hotel however. It is very much a 4*. Prices however are very high

I recently stayed at Hotel Falkensteiner, and unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations, especially considering the high price tag. This was one of those rare experiences where I left feeling a bit scammed. Despite its 5*-star rating, the hotel did not deliver a 5*-star experience. The food, both at dinner and breakfast, was basic and lacked variety. The service was disappointing, with staff often unable to answer questions or, worse, providing incorrect information. The beach is another downside—it's extremely rocky. On the plus side, the gym is well-equipped and was the only highlight of my stay. However, this alone doesn’t justify the cost. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, as it does not offer the value or service you’d expect for the price.
