"The Adriatic coast of Croatia has been beautiful since basically forever, at least in its natural state — it’s only fairly recently, however, that the travel infrastructure has had time to catch up a bit with the stunning landscapes and seascapes. And Punta Skala is no different. This peninsula, a few minutes’ drive from the town of Zadar, and a few hours up the coast from more familiar locales like Dubrovnik and Split, has put itself on the international travel map in a big way, thanks to the advent of the massive, modern, and luxe Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera." - Tablet Hotels

Dear IADERA team, Thank you very much for our unforgettable stay with you. We had five wonderful days filled with incredible hospitality. We felt completely at home, whether checking in, checking out, in the various restaurants or in the spa area. A big compliment to the kitchen and the service in all restaurants - everything was TOP. We will definitely see us again and we wish you all the best. Warm regards from Velden Helmut & Anett

We had the opportunity to spend 10 days at this beautiful hotel during the summer saison. While enjoying the beauties of the surroundings (Kornat islands, Plitvice Lakes), we have seized the opportunity to relax at the poll area and the black spa nearby. The hotel park, facing the sea promenade, offers a unique view, while providing comfortable and silent sun lounger for relaxing. A special mention is due to the director, Emanuele, a really friendly person spending the whole day looking after customers and entertaining with them.||Unfortunately check-in and check-out experience was anything but pleasant, and this is the reason for my final rating. Having already paid 50% of the due amount before our arrival and the remaining 50% at the check-in, we were requested to set aside a further sum of 750 Euros (!!!) for an esteemed consumption of extras. I confess to have never seen anything similar all around Europe! What further guarantee can be pretended when you have already received the 100% of the due amount in advance? In front of my vibrant complaints, the receptionist finally opted for giving up this request. |Regrettably a further really bad experience waited for us at the check-out moment. Having realized that the overall amount of extra costs did not correspond to our real consumptions, I noticed that the hotel had charged (without any kind of authorization from my side) a flat tip in the amount of 100 Euros (10 Euro per day). Once again, in front of our protests the receptionist reversed this amount from our final invoice.||It is really a pity that check-in and check-out procedures have taken this course, partly undermining the very positive impression we got of this hotel which has really many, many strength points and can offer, besides tasty restaurants and a lovely location, also awesome attractions in the surroundings!

Went with a group and did not know what to expect. We were amazed by the hospitality and friendliness of all the staff. The rooms with sea views are very nice and spacious and we loved the openness of it all, with bathroom integrated in the bedroom. Bed is comfortable and air conditioning working very well, good coffee machine in the room too. Even though the hotel is not close to Zadar, there is plenty to do on the premises. The spa and sports facilities as well as the many pools are amazing. The private beach is looked after very well and has plenty of armchairs, The gardens are beautiful.|Restaurants choices are plenty and the quality of food very good.|Manager Emanuel will help with each and every issue and beyond.|Zadar is only about 13 KMs away and can easily be reached with taxi, Uber or Bold.|It is a perfect place to relax and be pampered.

Very nice hotel, placed near beautiful beaches facing the sunset. Rooms are modern, large, with really comfortable bed and pillows. It has marvellous Spa and pools area. The buffet was rich with a variery of food, but the table service (bringing menues for the main dish) was too slow and my group supposed that the dinner was just buffet.

The Fortis Gym is definitely a place worth going to, my mom and I really enjoyed working out there. They have all the equipment you need, ranging from a large sortiment of weights to various different machines to a separate yoga room. But above all that we prefered going to group training sessions, especially Alexa's. Her workouts are always well structured and vary every time. They're simply fun too attend and the dificulty level is not too high, so we definitely recommend giving it a try. We'll for sure be coming back for more.

I stayed here in mid-August and found the experience disappointing for a 5★ hotel. The music finished at 10 PM, which felt too early for a summer holiday, and the main bar was also closed by 11 PM. I was also surprised that one beach bar closed as early as 6 PM, and the second at 10 PM—leaving no options for a late drink or evening socializing by the sea. The sauna and spa only open at 10 AM, so if you’re an early riser, there’s nothing to do in the mornings except go for a walk. Overall, the facilities and schedules really didn’t meet expectations for a luxury hotel. I expected more flexibility, service, and activities—especially in the evenings. Also it is an adult only hotel and everywhere is full of childrens. Massage was excellent.

We recently stayed at Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera in Punta Skala, and it’s safe to say this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The suite we stayed in was simply fabulous, with gorgeous sea views. The location is absolutely stunning — right by the sea, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening, the scenery is pure magic. The food was superb, with something to please every palate. During our stay, we had the chance to explore three different restaurants on the property — each one offering a unique experience. Planika was a delightful surprise: a fun, friendly, family-style spot that felt incredibly local. The steak was especially delicious, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it feel like home. We also dined at Bracera, the seafood restaurant perched above the sea. The views are magical, especially during sunset. Just make sure to book a few days in advance, and if you can, request a table by the water — it’s worth it. The entire hotel is spotless, from the rooms to the spa/wellness area and pools. We experienced both sunny and rainy days during our stay, which allowed us to enjoy the resort in different ways. There are beautiful paths for walking by the sea, as well as private spots to relax and listen to the waves. You can also bike, ride horses, or simply enjoy the serenity. The gym is spacious, modern, and very well-equipped, with — of course — more amazing views. If you’re looking to stay active or indulge in relaxation, the resort offers the best of both worlds. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind - but we have to give a special mention to Emanuel, the manager. He was one of the best we’ve ever met in hospitality. By the time we checked out, it didn’t feel like we were just leaving a hotel — it felt like we were also saying goodbye to new friends. Emanuel made us feel seen, welcomed, and valued, and that made all the difference. And gave us plenty of good recipes to try - Emanuel if you're reading this, I finally made my own granola and it was a success! Also, a big thank you to the valet, who was professional, attentive, and simply excellent throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back — not just for the views and amenities, but to see our new friends again. Thank you for making our experience so meaningful and memorable.

All in one it is a beautiful residence. But i think in a Christian country, nudism should generally not be tolerated. It may be separated, but some people were still topless at the beach, and I don’t feel like I’m in my home country.
