Falu House

The Swedish cinnamon bun was basically a religious experience. It came out warm (maybe I got lucky with a fresh oven batch) and was a perfect fluffy, sweet and doughy bun for breakfast / coffee. I also came here for the Finnish salmon soup - it’s huge and delicious. My book club meets here once a month so I basically get to go regularly and have enjoyed it each time!

Incredible coffee and Swedish dishes in Greenpoint! The vibes are immaculate, and the staff is so welcoming. Spend your Saturday morning here sipping on amazing coffee and munching on the Scandi breakfast (my absolute favorite)!

I had the shrimp salad on toast at Falu House, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, the dill finish was amazing. The staff, especially Emmy, are always so helpful and kind – they make every visit a treat. I also highly recommend trying their matcha with lavender for a unique twist, and you can’t go wrong with their cardamom bun for a sweet finish. Falu House consistently delivers on both food and service – a must-visit!

Delicious food and coffee in a beautifully designed space! I ordered the salmon and egg toast -- honestly one of the best I've ever tasted. Full of flavor, yet light enough to leave room for some sweet pastries. The chef, Leah, is super friendly and passionate about the menu. Service was quick. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Brooklyn

“A cinammon bun a day to keep the doctor away” is my new motto! I’ve been literally getting one Iced Almond Vanilla Latte and one Cinammon bun every day on my way to work. They are absolutely yummy and scrumptious, definitely a new favorite! As a vegan, is hard to find good quality plant based pastries, so definitely a must try. I also genuinely love their Potato Smorrebrod, another great vegan option. Love Falu House 🏠 ♥️

Amazing selection of breakfast coffee and tea, ideal place to have brunch! The salmon and egg toast is fantastic and the iced latte was perfect. Really cool furniture and gifts too! What a wonderful and unique place, I’ll be back for happy hour as it looked they had a great wine and beer options. I highly recommend checking this place out!

This is a great spot to stop for coffee, breakfast or a snack on the corner of Norman Avenue. Order at the counter and there's a few seats outside and some tables inside. The staff is friendly, the coffee is very good as are the breakfast pastries. They have a small range of breakfast and lunch/brunch items all with a Swedish slant and serve wine and beer. There's a small Swedish grocery section too. Prices are reasonable and it's a peaceful spot. Take a look around the fantastic Swedish lifestyle/ home wear store 'Teak' which is attached - think IKEA for millionaires!
