A cafe sharing space with a scandi furniture super. Decent cardamon bun and flat white (slightly more acidic). Lovely salmon soup uniquely Scandinavian, perfect for the winner. White fish sandwich was surprisingly good too.

where else are you going to find fresh baked cardamom and cinnamon buns in a place that feels like your neighborhood home? the cardamom buns specifically are so moist and if you're lucky come with a caramel lace oozing out on the parchment. such a sophisticated spice flavor, elegant and not too sweet. they bring out fresh trays periodically! and the scandi furniture ambiance is lovely.

Excellent service! The barista made my matcha with extra care and made sure it was to my liking. My friend and I split a cardamom bun, which was divine. I would love to come back to try more of the food sometime. The cafe is in the furniture store (teak) so the interior was very cute and decorated well. I wish there were more places to sit in the cafe portion of the shop, but that’s my only complaint (which isn’t really a complaint).

Falu House is one of my go-to spots for a calm coffee moment in Williamsburg. I’ve tried the regular latte, almond latte, and matcha latte with almond milk—and each one has been consistently delicious. The space has that clean, minimal Scandinavian feel that instantly slows you down in the best way. I especially appreciate when the drinks are served in porcelain cups; it adds such a thoughtful, intentional touch to the experience. A few visits included paper cups, so just wanted to say how much I love the ceramic ones—they really match the peaceful vibe of the café. Beautiful space, great coffee, and a lovely break from the noise of the city.

Usually, a cafe connected with a store might not be good.. BUT they r great and unique! Nice space to stay for a while, interesting drinks and housemade pastry. The only thing to murmur is that prices are slightly high. Cardamom latte was flavorful. It was super creamy and foamed. A little too-much buttery but I liked the saltiness. 💚🩷🍪The Swedish cookie looked too colorful but it was delicious. Highly recommended. Raspberry jam inside covered with marzipan on the top. Sweet but rich and tasty. ✨✨Cardamom bun I got the other day was great as well. It was moist and soft, a won’t-go-wrong option.

Great coffee and strong. The Swedish cinnamon bun was basically a religious experience. It came out warm (maybe I got lucky with a fresh oven batch) and was a perfect fluffy, sweet and doughy bun for breakfast / coffee. I also came here for the Finnish salmon soup - it’s huge and delicious. My book club meets here once a month so I basically get to go regularly and have enjoyed it each time!

Delicious food and coffee in a beautifully designed space! I ordered the salmon and egg toast -- honestly one of the best I've ever tasted. Full of flavor, yet light enough to leave room for some sweet pastries. The chef, Leah, is super friendly and passionate about the menu. Service was quick. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Brooklyn

We stopped by Falu House on a whim today and were completely blown away. We got to meet Leah, who was an absolute delight and clearly an incredibly talented baker. We tried the cinnamon roll, cardamom bun, and orange-saffron bun. Each one was yumminess personified: airy, light, and decadent while letting the spice shine through. Easily the best Scandinavian-style buns I’ve had in NYC, and I’ve tried all the top ones! The space feels nostalgic and calm. It immediately brought me back to my trip to Copenhagen, where people slow down for fika in cozy little bakeries. Falu House has that same relaxed, unpretentious charm. It’s bright, warm, and utterly hygge. A perfect spot to recharge and savor something special. Highly recommend!

This is a great spot to stop for coffee, breakfast or a snack on the corner of Norman Avenue. Order at the counter and there's a few seats outside and some tables inside. The staff is friendly, the coffee is very good as are the breakfast pastries. They have a small range of breakfast and lunch/brunch items all with a Swedish slant and serve wine and beer. There's a small Swedish grocery section too. Prices are reasonable and it's a peaceful spot. Take a look around the fantastic Swedish lifestyle/ home wear store 'Teak' which is attached - think IKEA for millionaires!
