Ordered spaghetti Alfredo with broccoli and chicken and cheesy garlic bread. No Alfredo, just Olive oil and garlic, not bad, just not what I wanted. Fine for late night. Shows up on Google map incorrectly as located on 51st, it’s 840 8th Ave. fine for late night carbs.

Use Apple Maps as Google maps is wrong! Pizza is prepared with many varieties but only cooked after you order it so it comes out hot and fresh! The staff were very patient with tourist (us) and friendly! Very good atmosphere as the staff was laughing and having fun while working. We came during New Year’s Eve so it was busy and we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food.

When in NYC this is my go to for Pizza. They are always incredibly friendly and have the best pizza at a great price. If you like fries, they are my favorite. Always so crispy. Their Garlic Knots are incredible as well. Service is phenomenal. They always go a step beyond and when traveling with a family it is truly appreciated.

04/13/2023 I ordered a pepperoni pizza slice $4.68 and penne pasta with alfredo sauce $16. The pepperoni pizza wasn't typically burned on the bottom, but it was greasy and a large slice, though. They did not skip on the pepperoni! I enjoyed the penne with alfredo sauce. The sauce is made in store and not from a jar. The pasta comes with a piece of crusty bread. I also received a tiny cup of Parmesan cheese in my to-go bag too. They have a small table in store where there is garlic powder and oregano seasonings. There are two tables in the back that have electrical outlets nearby if you need to charge your phone or laptop. The staff were very nice! One restroom for customers.

Pizza was good, or at least margarita pizza was. The chicken bacon and ranch coulda been better, but the large slices for the price was a great deal! Not a big fan of the fries unfortunately, didn't have much of a taste.

It’s your standard NYC pizza, good quality and decent price. It will save you if you’re really hungry or in a rush.

I love pizza and usually i am not picky but today i got a pinneaple pizza oh,my gosh was so bad. When i tried the jam it tasted really weird, at the end i dont know it was old or the jam is bad quality i couldn't be able to take a pictures, i had stomachache and probably, dont come back again...

Still one of my favorite pizza spots in the city. They have a good selection of pizzas and the slices are huge. Lots of toppings and love the marinara sauce that goes with the garlic knots.

Great little pizza spot. The cheese pizza was spot on. The deep dish was great for deep dish. Super reasonable price. We got 3 slices & 2 drinks for $24.

We stopped in to Famous Amadeus Pizza after a show one night. There's lots of places to grab a slice and this a typical spot. It's not super clean but not overly dirty either and there was ample seating. We got a slice of cheese, a slice of pepperoni and a slice of pepperoni and mushroom. They were overly floppy so they could've been heated longer. The pepperoni had an odd taste to them but the toppings were ample and the slices were big. Not my favorite slice but still good.

We found this place on a whim because it was next to our hotel! The service was quick with all the pizza available displayed. They warm it up in the oven and served right to you. It's a small narrow place with plenty of tables to eat your meal. It has THE BEST pasta pizza EVER. I still have dreams about it, lol. The pasta on top has a creamy sauce to it. I was worried it would be hard or crunchy especially baked on top of the pizza, however, it was cooked perfectly! It melted together like it was meant for each other. My biggest regret was not coming back for it the next day! The spinach mushroom wasn't the greatest. Definitely give the pasta pizza a try!

I was in Manhattan for a few days and lucky for me Amadeus pizza was a block from my hotel because a slice of pepperoni and sausage totally saved me after watching a musical and being too tired to find a place to eat.

The pizza here is good and the staff is very helpful. Our group of four sprinted in to grab lunch before rushing out to a show (we were extremely late with zero good reasons why). Our pizza came out fast and was hot, tasty, and decked with toppings. We snagged a pristine inside table, scarfed our slices, and bolted for Broadway. My wife, intending the most favorable possible connotation, compared hers favorably to Costco pizza (Amadeus is not exactly standard New York style but is still delicious). Also, is it named after Mozart? If so, I see why they went with the middle name. "Wolfgang" does not necessarily evoke pizza. Also the more prominent "Puck" kind of staked that one out already anyway. The owner here could also be named Amadeus, though you don't meet a lot of Amadeuses (Amadei?) and as good as this establishment is, the owner would still be decidedly less famous than Mozart. In sum: unless the name is ironic, I think this place is named after Mozart. I will conclude by saying: symphony of flavors, music to my taste buds, etc, etc. This really was a solid pizza spot that gave us everything we needed and more.

Did not think my cheese pizza was particularly good. Just a layer of coagulated cheese on crust.

Picked up pies to go and was pleasantly satisfied. The slice was thin, crust was crispy and cheese was warm! Everyone including the kids really enjoyed the pics

Walked in for a quick slice of cheese pizza. Service was quick and friendly. Pizza was fresh and hot. Delicious sauce and no -doughy crust, with and tasty, thick cheese. I recommend and will be back.

Customer service is whatever. Should never trust a low star rating restaurant. Paid $100 for 3 large pizza. They all laughed in our faces because my mom and I both looked at each other like are we getting PRANKED. In LOS ANGELES, we pay half of that price. Y'all wild out here b. The audacity of a discount, still was basically a $100. Whatever though. Welcome to NYC where they steal yo money & forget your pineapple toppings.

While in NYC, I have to have some NYC pizza, and I was not disappointed. Famous Amadeus was awesome!!! 2 big slices, with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. Sauce was on point, traditional sauce, crust was thin, and foldable. The outer crust was really good, light, crunchy, what a great pizza eating experience. I will get this pizza again!!

I've had a bunch of Manager's Meetings in the past and we've ordered a lot of pizza. No one was happy with the other stuff. So I went to Yelp (Thanks) and found "Famous Amadeus Pizza" not to far from my location. I called and spoke to Jose. He was very polite and friendly over the phone. I let him know I wanted six pies and would order them the next day. He said "okay, have a good day." The next day around twelve I called. Jose answered again and like before he was happy. I reminded him who I was and he took his time with me going over the menu. He helped me pick the best choices and went over the price. Once that was done I told him I needed it on Thursday cat eleven thirty and he said no problem. The day of the meet the managers were hungry. I was going on and on and they ignored me, thinking about food. I have to be honest about this, I had one issue. I told them the time and they came late. We all at the point were starving. When the delivery biker came, we quickly grabbed the pies. My assistant paid him and we took the pizza to the managers. I have to say, I've never seen pizza go so fast. Particularly the broccoli, mushroom, tomato pie. It all went quickly. My favorite was the chicken and onions pie, but they all had a good vibe about them. We enjoyed it so much, I decided to make this the pie of meetings going forward. I even called Jose to thank him, but he didn't answer another guy did, who didn't care for my admiration and just hung up. Go figure, I mean it's Manhattan people!

I generally like this place a lot, but they need to update their online menus to reflect reality. I was working with a not-for-profit planning a memorial lunch last weekend with a limited budget, and we ordered over the phone using the online menu. We were quoted a price with tax; we needed to bring in our proof of status to avoid tax. Totally normal/proper. But then upon going in, we were quoted a pre-tax total nearly 25% higher. It was completely unacceptable, and we really felt cheated and subjected to a bait-and-switch--especially being a not-for-profit feeding people at a *memorial*. That alone is the reason for missing stars. They did do a great job on the actual catering, but at the higher prices they now say they charge (which you can't see online), we would have just gone with somewhere closer to the venue rather than schlepping food to "save money." I can't and wouldn't say to avoid them--the food is great, the portions are exactly what you'd wish for, the guys are nice. But if planning an event, don't go by their advertised menu, which they do not wish to honor.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!! They made me the wrong pizza -- with disgusting things like Broccoli on it -- and then argued with me about it -- even though I had the proof that they were wrong -- and would not refund me or make it correctly. DISGUSTING PIZZA THAT"S NOT WHAT THEY ORDERED AND THAT THEY WILL BLAME YOU FOR!! Also, what is this nasty white creamy cheese all over it? Simply yuck. Just give people what they ordered, or if they point out that you're wrong, don't blame them for it!!! Note-- they will say that the supreme has broccoli on it, but their website says it DOES NOT. I told them I would send them a screenshot or show them what their website says and they said they didn't care and to call tomorrow to speak to "Amadeus" and that basically they didn't care. Doesn't everyone know that a supreme does not include broccoli? Well, even though they don't, their website specifically says it does *not* include broccoli. Check the screenshots. Dealing with their incompetence will waste an hour of your life and waste your appetite. Appalling customer service; appalling pizza; appling management; appalling workers. None of them were willing to correct their mistake.

Found this great pizza joint while exploring the city with my family. Fresh, large slices of pizza. Hospitality was fair for a rushed NY pizzeria! You're not gonna regret grabbing pizza here. Check them out.

Came to New York for work/great food and got a staple shoved into my gums instead! As a chef, I love trying new food and eating in places that people have declared pleasant. I took a chance on Famous Amadeus Pizza and I regret that decision. I ordered two pies, a chicken/ bacon with chorizo plus a caprese; both 12". More food than I needed but it wanted to try both flavors. As I ate the first pizza, i bit into something hard and pulled it out of my mouth immediately. It ended up being sausage casing from the Portuguese chorizo with STAPLES in it. Exhausted from my flight in, I laid down for an hour and woke up to call the restaurant. I spoke to 3 people before getting a manager who asked me several different questions (in order to prove that I didn't get the pizza from there). After confirming the order number, the order name, what time i ordered, the site i ordered on and my phone number, Jose tells me I should have talked to the morning crew because my pizza was ordered at 5:50 and his team didn't come in until 6. When I told him I picked it up at 6:20, he got quiet and said I needed to come back in the morning and talk to the guys that made it. Terrible customer service seeing as how a staple has went into my jaw from a bite of pizza. I'll be following up with health services about this as well. If the had better customer service, I would have taken the refund and kept it pushing.

Chicken francese 10 out of 10! Get the plain pizza with pineapple on the side and ask for fresh jalapeños (*the night crew is the best!....)*the day guys are terrible!

NY pizza chain serving pies that are thick with the cheese and heavy on the grease. Quality-wise, about on par with Pizza Hut, which is to say not that great. Convenient if you're looking for a quick slice or have hungry kids to feed, though it won't do much for pizza connoisseurs seeking their next great pie.

I truly enjoyed the pizza! Very yummy and flavorful. My friend enjoyed her veggie square but said the garlic knots lacked flavor.

This place is terrible. My husband ordered a GF pizza and they told him it would take 20 minutes to make. Fine. I ordered a meatball sub. They brought him his pizza in the promised 20 minutes and it was ok, but I never got my sub. When we asked about it, they gave him a box with a COLD meatball sub. When we took it back they gave us another sub in a bag. It was not only COLD, but totally mutilated. They didn't seem to care and didn't give us a refund. Stay away!

Really good pizza and reasonably priced. Lots of selections ready to eat. Employees were nice and the place was clean. Pizza crust was perfect, not too crispy and not too soft. If I could only ship some back home....

It would not allow me to get 10% off my first online order like your website says. I signed up for the deals and I have never ordered online. I will be filing a complaint for false advertising. It is highly illegal to offer a discount to someone and then not honor that discount when it clearly says I am entitled to one. I called in and the person who answered the phone would not help me out. He said it was the company and he didn't know anything about anything. I also tried to submit a feedback request on your website and it would not allow me to submit it. I will definitely be contacting the appropriate agency over this and contacting my credit card company to dispute the full charge. Completely unprofessional and will NEVER order from here again.

Terrible service and terrible communication. Ordered delivery and my order was confirmed via e-mail with a delivery window. The time came and passed and my order was not delivered. I called the restaurant to check on the status and they gave me a 5 minute eta. I waited another 30 minutes and my order was still not delivered. It's not like I was ordering cross town! My location was only 4 "short" blocks away! Do not recommend ordering from here. Plenty of other quality options to choose from!

Tbh I probably wouldn't usually come here, but it really hit the spot when we had the drunchies and this was the closest open pizza spot. The pizzas not bad, gets the job done, price is normal, but nothing to write home about.

okay first off i would like to say say that i am extremely picky so finding a place to eat it kind of tricky!! but i was lucky enough to stumble upon this place after a show, and let me tell you!! the ceasar salad was absolutely delicious! their ceasar dressing is amazing. i also ordered some alfredo pasta, and omg y'all this is soo good, they also gave me some free garlic knots on the side which are also so good! their pepperoni pizzas are great of course! if you have the chance please try this place you will not regret it!

Good pizza with a crusty bottom. Had the mushroom with breaded chicken on it. Son had the plain and devoured it in a minute. There are places to sit and a bathroom here. When it's cold out - sit in the back. The door opens constantly flooding the front of the restaurant with its cold air. Ps. Lady Gaga ate here so it must be good!

Pizza was good, staff was great. I got a pepperoni slice and had it been good the whole way through I'd of reviewed it 4/5. However, halfway through my pizza it had a different taste that was off putting, the better flavor returned after a few bites of "why does it taste like this?" It was pretty balanced in taste, pepperonis were good, cheese was good, good light sauce, crunchy crust but still soft. Would give another shot to change review.

I love NYC Pizza! Ok,ok there must be some bad pizza in the city. In fact I'm sure there is but this Hell's Kitchen eatery is not one of them. We stopped in midday for a slice and found the place busy but not overly so. My son had a classic pepperoni slice while my husband had a mixed meat piece with pepperoni, sausage and bacon. Both inhaled their slices. My brother folded his cheese slice in the proper New York manner. The thin crust allowing for a nice fold. My Margherita style slice had whole tomato pieces as well as sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil and thin sliced garlic. Margherita doesn't always have garlic but it was sweet and worked in this case. The crust was thin with a nice firm bite. We enjoyed our lunch at a table. Another good thing about this place, ample seating and a bathroom. Not a given in NYC.

If you like stale bread and food served in prisons this is the place for you! I've never felt so ripped off as I was when I ordered a steak and cheese . The only thing famous here is how bad the sub is and how old the bread is and could possibly belong to the Smithsonian.

Two stars for service. Food was not worth it. I ordered a buffalo chicken calzone and a Tex mex cheeseburger with no bun. I received a phone call shortly after I placed my order and was told they don't have any calzones. Ok? He offered two slices of their buffalo chicken pizza instead and said it's equivalent in size and cost. I said okay. I like buffalo chicken pizza. Order comes a little late. The pizza tastes HORRID. Tony Boloneys in Hoboken is the best. I will never order pizza from famous Amadeus! Glad I didn't get a calzone! The burger was cooked perfect and order was correct. Jalapeños were fresh and spicy. Lettuce was not fresh and had wilted some. Not my cup of tea. Will not be ordering here again.

Tremendously good pizza. Came here 2 nights in a row. The pepperoni sausage slice is money. They use a crispier kind of meat so it just tastes amazing. And the chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken slices are addictive. Just make sure you tell them to heat this one longer to make sure it's hot enough.

Best NY pizza. Super tomato sauce with tomato chunks on my meatball sub. Enjoyed it very much. Lots of mozzarella cheese. Succulent NY pizza, very tasty, plus the service staff was very friendly. I recommend it you try it.

I had just got off the subway and needed to get food fast! The pizza was yummy and wanted to try some pasta. I ended up getting the spaghetti and the portion was huge! This meal can be easily shared with two people. The prices are affordable and I would come back here again. Service was friendly and environment was clean. Also, Was able to watch the World Cup on the TVs.

I liked the pizza. It was easy to order. My friend and I were craving pizza in the city so we decided to just go into whichever pizza place we spotted next, lol I'm glad it was this one. We loved our pizza here! We got two slices each - I got mushroom/pepperoni and plain; she got pepperoni and plain. The slices are so big, and the crust is really crispy. I didn't even feel the need to add oregano or extra parmesan cheese like I normally do. I wish there was a location in NJ!

Good pizza! The margarita pizza was delish. I wasn't a fan of the meat pie, but that was my first time trying it. The guys working behind the counter were all very nice and friendly.

The pizza slice is huge. They are quite heavy handed on cheese. Pepperoni is plentiful. My slice had pepperonu, green peppers, and onions. The garlic knots were a garlic lover's dream. Clean establishment. Quick service. Hey, its pizza!!

Dropped in on our way home. Had slice of pepperoni, sausage, and bacon which was filling and tasty. Just the right spice. Shared garlic knots with hubby which could have been a little fresher. Pretty clean and a poster A sanitary inspector grade encourages.

Rock me, Amadeus...is what I wished for my pizza experience to do when I visited. Although it was okay, my world was not rocked. The joint was crowded and lively but the staff were very quick and had the line moving. I was there on a Friday around 7:30 and there were only one or two slices available for each specialty pie. Somebody in front of me got the last buffalo chicken slice. I had a regular chicken and a pepperoni. Both were okay. Like most pepperoni slices, this one was incredibly greasy. Had to let it drain between bites. Slices are generous but I like the ones at Gotham Pizza on the next block a little better. That's not to say this isn't a decent place but the crust on both my slices was a little floppy and I like it much stiffer.

We got garlic knots and a pepperoni pie. Garlic knots were a huge hit and everybody loved them. Pizza was really good although some thought that it was a little too saucy. We would still recommend it

Good pizza, okay pasta, okay Jamaican beef patty, good garlic knots. Opened late which is good if you need food after some late night drinks.

My first time in NYC and this is EXACTLY what I was hoping for! Over the counter, quick and easy, open late, and had nice service. The pepperoni pizza had good cheese to crust proportions and the crust wasn't TOO thin but it was still "New York" style. We also tried the buffalo chicken which was also very well done. The Garlic Knots were wonderful! I think they might've been a little over baked but the flavor definitely made up for that! The only thing I would ask is that the marinara sauce be warm for the garlic knots! Would definitely come again!

Very tasty pizza! Served very hot and gooey-- just like a good NY pizza should be. They also had some interesting specialty pizzas and are generous with the toppings! Great NY classic style pizzeria. Will go back!
