This East Downtown staple turns out blistered, thin‑crust pies and house‑made pastas. Recognized by Zagat and Fodor’s via Tripexpert, it’s a go‑to for wine‑friendly Italian in the heart of the city.

A buddy and I came here for dinner. Inside was pretty packed and tough to find a table. So we opted to sit in the back Patio area. Which was nice because at the time because it was a tad chilly but the patio is heated. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my buddy ordered a green chili with chicken pizza. We both really enjoyed our pizzas. But to put the cherry on top of dinner was the Butterscotch Budino. That dessert was so delicious. Highly recommend ordering that. Definitely going to be a returning customer.

Google
Omg the pizza is great! Thin and a little burned just how I like it. Also the tiramisu tasted fresh and just enough sweet.

Walked into this little gem unaware of the delights awaiting us. Greeted with a friendly smile at the door and chose seats at the bar on an incredibly busy day after Christmas. Raven took phenomenal care of my daughter and I as ordered everything I thought I could possibly eat. The Caprese Salad was a 12 and the soup of the day equalled it in taste and appearance. We finished it off with gorgeous pizza that is on the top 3 of all time for me. What a great place to stumble upon!!

Google
Enjoyed dining at Farina's very much. Cozy, brick building with bar and table seating. Somewhat dark but sets the ambiance. We had pizzas and they were perfectly prepared. Some great choices of wines and local beers as well. Service was just like the rest perfectly orcastraded, friendly and very efficient. I can highly recommend this establishment for your dining experience.

Came out to eat alone tonight. Greeted immediately by a welcoming girl. Just enough room for me to squeeze in at the bar. Chad? Bartender name I believe very welcoming and great service. Everything as a business owner you could hope for your restaurant. Delicious food, great staff. Everyone eating there seemed happy. Really 10/10 place

Google
A wonderful dining experience that satisfied all the senses! The salad was fresh and delicious. All their ingredients are organically and locally grown. The Margherita pizza was incredible! We had the Butterscotch Budino for dessert and it was the perfect combination of sweet with just a touch of saltiness. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive.

My husband and I had the most fantastic dinner experience here recently. We were attending a show that evening, and asked the owner (Stu?) how long the wait would be since we had to be somewhere at a specific time. They were busy, but he found seating for us quickly. Our very sweet and attentive server was also aware that we had a limited amount of time, so she also did her best to get our food and drinks out quickly. We very much appreciated the beyond satisfactory service. To top it off, the food and wine were as spectacular as we remember from our visits years ago!

Google
So my wife and I were so happy to find this great pizza place. We have had pizza in multiple major cities and we now have our new favorite. You need to try their Gorgonzola dipping sauce and if you like Michelob Ultra, sorry they don’t carry it BUT you have to try their “beer”. Seriously, that’s what it’s called. It a lager. We had a large pizza with half meatball (not on the official menu) and half Salsiccia. We loved them both but ordered a large Salsiccia to go….which we never do. Lastly, we shared a delicious cannoli. The service was also top notch. Our server Alyssa and bartender JD were very attentive and super friendly. We love this place and will be back soon. Great find! Highly recommended.

Yelp
Best food in town. We bring out of town guests here because it's the only place in Albuquerque that's rates with any big city shop. All pizzas are tops, but the limited pastas and other things also excellent. Salads dressed just right. Prices a bit high since Covid but what are you gonna do? Important tip: Get the gorgonzola dip for your crusts to take home.

Yelp
The parking is good. They have parking on the street and their own parking lot. The ambiance is nice. I personally love brick walls and it feels "homey" and it's not a large place. The service was good. Greeted as we walked through the door and helped right away. Our server was feel friendly and helpful with tips in ordering our food. The food: we ordered a caprese salad, only complaint was that the bread was super hard and hurt the roof of my mouth. We ordered a pizza with half and half of veggies, artichokes, garlic and my personal NY pizza. They also ordered a salad which is a pinch of lettuce but mostly a vegetable salad w Italian dressing. Very good flavored pizza.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Try their fungi (mushroom) pizza!! Best pizza in town. Service is prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable brick-wall urban chic. Not too noisy.
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza here is delicious!! They really have the crust cooked to perfection! I went with the Ricotta truffle oil and artichoke hearts! It's perfect.

Yelp
If you're looking for a fresh, crispy oven, baked pizza, you're gonna want to check out Farina. I recently stopped by for a quick lunch with a friend and we split their lunch special, which had a ton of different veggies. We also ordered a side of dip for the crust, which was absolutely awesome. It's a relatively small space, but we came towards the end of the normal lunch, rush and were able to find seating and service was fast.
google avatar

Diana X.

Yelp
Our host recommended this and it did not disappoint. This was some of the finest wood-fired pizza I've had. We split a sausage pizza and the formaggio di capra (scallion, pancetta, leeks). The leeks stood out in particular, and was addictive with the creamy base and goat cheese. The butterscotch budino for dessert was so creamy with an excellent contrast with the sour cream whipped cream top. This place is pricey, but one of the best restaurants we had in our short visit to Santa Fe / Albuquerque.

Yelp
Here's a treat. Tom went with his wife and friends to Farina Alto on Montgomery in Albuquerque. They really liked the food - especially the Napoleon style Eggplant, the efficient service, and the interesting decor. Yelp
So the first time I came here I did take out. Red sauce Spaghetti and their margherita pizza and it was great! Fantastic! That was a year ago. Went the other week on a Friday around 6/7pm. Got lucky we were sat right away but as the night went on, the line grew a lot. Every one was nice and service was fast enough for a busy night. Unfortunately, this time the food did not meet the mark. I think we got the meat lovers pizza and it was just way too salty, I suppose kind of expected because of all the meat? But maybe there's a way to tone it down a bit. I also got a salad and almost speechless. It was like someone just threw salad and nuts on a plate put 3 pieces of cheese and called it a day. Tiniest plate my food kept falling off and idk what happened with dressing. I didn't bother eating it because of the lack of care put into it, made me uncomfortable to eat it. My boyfriend had a calzone and that lacked salt and the bread was way too crispy/burnt It was also INCREDIBLY loud. I think just a small place with lots of people talking. It was club loud where you're shouting next to the person next to you. I would give this place another chance, but only during happy hour and if it's too busy inside, weather permitting, I would sit outside. Also the wine was good.

Yelp
Nice spot right downtown Albuquerque. We sat down and were greeted right away. Ordered the a nice cheese plate with great slices to boot. Ingredients were fantastic and the choice of local beer is always a good touch. Crust was excellent and we enjoyed our time in this nice establishment.
google avatar

Adrianne L.

Yelp
My friend and I were both craving some exceptional pizzas and Calzones, so we used the Yelp app to select Farina as our dinner destination. It turned out to be an outstandingly excellent choice! Let's start with the best first - their pies are a culinary Thng of Beauty! The crusts are perfectly blistered with just the right amount of char; chewy at the center and crispy on the edges. The Calzones were almost as good as the pies. To begin with, these Bad Boys are immense and very filling due to the fact that it's chock full of vegetables and probably 3 or 4 meatballs as well. They're also just as delicious as they are filling :-) Honorable mention goes to their delicious salad, which is made with blanched green beans, avocado, and a delicious layer of Meyer lemon vinaigrette. Service was fast and friendly, and the venue has a parking lot in the rear. I thought this was a very nice touch, as the area is a bit on the sketchy side and it made us feel safer when we were parking after dark. To sum it all up, the pies, Calzones, and salads here are first tier, and you can't go wrong with any part of the dining experience - highly recommended!

Yelp
We came here for dinner. I want to say that it was one of my better meals in ABQ. I'm here for a conference and have been eating conference food. When I ate my salad and pizza, my body felt nourished. Come here for the friendly service, great food and the murals around the building. Also there was plentiful parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall good experience. Lot of miscommunication with the staff regarding the availability of the tiramisu. First it was available, then a shift changed happened and suddenly it became unavailable. Unfortunately, we never got to try it. So I don't recommend going during a shift change lol The pizza was solid though as were the meatballs. I liked that we could split the pizza between two flavors. We tried the all meat and eggplant - both very good. Really cute spot - especially for a date night or a quick lunch.
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
This location is really accessible and has its own parking, which is a huge benefit (tip the parking lot attendant). The pizza and ambience is worth a visit. I had the margarita pizza and a house red wine.

Mon P.

Yelp
The service is always exceptional and they have the best pizza in ABQ. The chop salad is great for sharing.
google avatar

Roman R.

Yelp
This is thin crust pizza that is kind of Neapolitan in style. The crust has a nice crisp to it; the cheese is fresh, and the sauce had enough flavor from the garlic and other ingredients in it to earn Farina a soft 5 star rating! It is a strong contender for best pizza in ABQ! It doesn't come very cheap, but you are paying for quality compared to other New Mexico pizza places. 9/10 Molto Bene!

Yelp
In from out of town and came here for lunch. The reviews were so amazing I had to check it out for myself. Great service, delicious food, and good size portions! Highly recommend for a lunch date.

Yelp
When I 1st was told the name of this, I made a face, farina pizza??? This restaurant was great! Busy place too! Shared a pizza & salad w/friends, couldn't even finish & wish we could have taken the leftovers but when traveling, not really an option. Our server was fantastic, really helpful. Another don't miss

Savannah T.

Yelp
Grilled chicken salad and Bianca pizza was delicious! Will definitely be back to visit.

Allison W.

Yelp
The food here is phenomenal. We were visiting from out of state. Tried going on a Thursday but there was an hour wait at 6pm. Came back on a Monday at 5:15 and got right in. There is limited seating so come early. We had the meat pizza and added green chiles, amazing. Had the gelato scoops for dessert. Would definitely go again!

Yelp
Close to lovelace hospital. We tend to go there from work at times. Their pizza is great- nice thing crust, classy atmosphere. Lots of free dedicated parking for customers, shared with artichoke cafe.

Rachel S.

Yelp
one of our absolute fav restaurants in ABQ--consistently incredible food and awesome vibes. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was here in 2009 working on a show and we ate here often. I find myself back here in 2024 and I was so glad it was still around. This is by far one of the best pizzas in the universe. It's quite incredible and if you find yourself in ABQ, make sure to stop by and EAT!! The pizzas are my fave so swing by and get a pie, or two
google avatar

Nic V.

Yelp
Delicious pizza - maybe one of the best I've ever had! I strongly recommend the Bianci and my hubby loved the eggplant pizza. Even though they gave us the wrong salad, we didn't even mind cause it was so delicious. Maybe plan for a reservation cause they are PACKED on a Friday night, or take it to go process - it's still delicious later!
google avatar

Yelp
Farina's has an Italian/American atmosphere. Our waitress was bubbly and very familiar with the menu. The salads we ordered were prepared with fresh veggies and a nice house Italian dressing. The pizza was magnificent.... the dough was well made and it was perfectly cooked.
google avatar

Tamia M.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza place in ABQ. Not only is it on such a walkable street, but the staff is really kind and the food is delicious. I still dream about this pizza.
google avatar

Greg N.

Yelp
this is a quiet, relaxing little restaurant with a very bluesy feel. The staff is pleasant and friendly, and the food is rather tasty.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Daily specials is where I usually order, as they are constantly changing! Their menus feature all local ingredients, which I love supporting local! My absolute favorites, in no particular order, meatballs, a weird balsamic sauce that makes you want to keep dipping that rustic bread, olives, served warm and damn the flavor, salads, all of them are just perfectly concocted (suggest getting the large salad and sharing), pizza, faves include funghi, carne, and salsiccia, I always order a large with half and half, leftovers in the air fryer are perfection! Wine, oh the wine, yes please! Great date night spot!
google avatar

Yelp
Heard great things about farina and made a visit. It was pretty chill on a weekday evening, but resembled a classic pizzeria with small tables and full bar. The service was really great and because they cook their pizzas up to 800 degrees, they come out quickly and charred. We enjoyed the Salciccia my personal favorite and the Bianca. I am personally not a huge fan of artichoke hearts but they still complimented everything well and we had plenty of leftovers.
google avatar

Yelp
Passing through town and found this on the web, had good reviews. It was excellent. Maybe the best tasting pizza we have ever had. Very clean, friendly and cozy. Like a neighborhood place. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Loved this gluten free GF pizza !! OMG - so good. Maybe the best I ever had. If I lived in this town I would live in this restaurant. Soooooo good !!!!!

Yelp
Farina is a well known pizza name in Albuquerque. If you love pizza and haven't tried this place you are missing out. They use quality ingredients, seem to be local when possible and the food is very thoughtful. They have fired pizza which we always get. The pasta and salads are great too. There is a patio in the back that is nice to check out, especially when they are busy. They have local beers on tap. Regularly very busy especially during peak hours. The tables are close together inside to get as many served as possible. If you don't like sitting next to people, go when it is slow or order takeout. The bar is great too. If you are alone on a Friday night, you can eat great food and chat with the bartender and others around the bar. Order the gorgonzola sauce to dip your crust. Life changing.
google avatar

Rachelle C.

Yelp
My first time here and I love it already. Chad was my server. He was polite and just down to earth. I started off with the special salad of the day. It was amazing that I forgot to take a picture. The pizza was also good just a little too salty for me but I did get a meat pizza... even with that being my only complaint it's still a good freshly made pizza. The place is clean and Chad informed me that everything is made in house which is why it tasted so fresh. The cannoli was different from others I've had. Not too sweet but worth trying. Most definitely coming back
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Best pizza in the New Mexico area! It's high class location but not the high ticket item. Also you have to try their salad Ds

Yelp
The food and ambiance were great. And really not wanting to give this place a bad review was holding me back from leaving one at all -- but there are somethings you just can't not share. We went out with friends, ordered a salad to start, my wife got about halfway through when she noticed something wriggling. Clung onto one of the lettuce pieces was a slug. Not a hair. A slug. It curled up, before plopping itself onto the plate and scooting across. Disgusting. We informed the waitress immediately, she shrugged and simply replied "organic" and took the plate without so much as a second thought. She brought us back another salad, which we declined, having no appetite for eating off produce that could've been potentially contaminated. The waitress went about her duties like nothing happened - not even so much as offering an apology. We eventually had to ask for a manager, which was astoundingly, an even worse experience. We informed her of the situation and at best, she bobbled her head side to side and shrugged repeatedly, at worst, she informed us that "That's how you know it's organic." -- it was clear she was unfit to lead a restaurant by her reply, when I asked "don't you wash the lettuce?", to which she shrugged again and said we're pretty busy tonight. (Insinuating that business = no washing lettuce?) She offered us a desert, for being exposed to a slug, which by the way, carries a parasite that burrows into your brain. Didn't comp the meal. Gave a half assed apology at best, and giggled her way back inside. Again, food and ambiance were great. But I'd prefer my meals slug free, and restaurants not operated by blatant apathy.

Yelp
So we had the chopped veg salad and a full size pizza ( salsacciate???) both were amazing. I love a salad that makes you want to devour it and this certainly did. Perfectly dressed, healthy chunks of toasted bread on top, with a kitchens sink full of veg, beans, lettuce, olives, you name it, it was all there and it was beautiful. Then came the pizza. Great sauce to cheese ratio, toppings were tasty, and the crust had those amazing bits of perfectly chewy charred spots that I live for. I would definitely eat here again, it was a fantastic level of food without being pretentious. My only criticism would be the cost of the wine... they were offering 50% off for Monday full bottles so we went for it knowing we would easily drink that much.. but $100 for a bottle that you would buy for $21 is outrageous, even for restaurant markup. We were celebrating tonight, so the $50 was not totally out of line for us, but it is just annoying that a bottle would be marked up that high. Overall, great food, worth every penny!

Yelp
Great recommendation from a friend. I'm in Albuquerque on business and tried this place. Got the 1/2 Fungi 1/2 Carni pizza. It was fantastic. A real yin/yang combination. Crust was crispy but not overdone and the toppings were plentiful and appropriately portioned. Ambiance is what you'd expect from a pizza beer place but service was a little more than expected. Thanks for the welcoming service! I'll definitely be coming here more often and bringing coworkers.

Yelp
A great date-night spot, for dining in or taking out! Meatballs, mushrooms make great appetizers, and the butterscotch budino are delish. Can't go wrong with any of the pizzas.
google avatar

Parvati F.

Yelp
Well...wether it's the chopped salad, the pizza, or the beer and wine, Farina's is our go to place! Always delicious and the staff are super friendly. Great and inventive specials complement their already stellar standard menu. Great wine & beer choices too...we always try to get the window high top table. You get to see the whole place! They have standard menu plus a specials menu. Plus great deals on wine Mon thru Wed. Try anything and everything on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza was fantastic! We shared a margarita and added roasted green chilis. Great spot, definitely check it out if in town.

Yelp
Argh, hate this - hungry and can't figure out what to eat, let alone where to get it from. Decision: Pizza, and where after viewing the options we decided this is the place. Got to an unassuming building, found a place on the street to park and walked into a busy & loud store. Wood floors & brick walls remind me of the neighborhood pizzerias in the northeast. Find a seat, peruse the menus and place our order. We started with the roasted olives. They delivered a huge bowl of various kinds of roasted olives, covered in olive oil and accompanied by toasted bread. For our meal we decided on the Salsiccia Pizza. It was delivered to our table hot. Extra thin crust, nicely browned with minimal sauce and not drenched in cheese. Plenty of toppings - sweet Italian sausage & roasted red onions. Needless to say it was excellent. Our pizza wasn't cheap. But there's value in good food. Service was excellent - even with the cramped seating. I don't just give out 5-stars. Ya gotta knock it outta da park - this was a home run.
google avatar

Yves M.

Yelp
The food is so unique compared to other pizza restaurants and the service very nice! We enjoyed the location also with parking available right there!
google avatar

Alyson C.

Yelp
Stellar service, delicious food and wine. Not much more to ask for when dining out. We flew in from out of town, saw Farina Pizzeria was close by the airport, and headed straight there. We were seated on the patio by the super kind owner, Stewart, within 20 mins on a Friday night, and when the patio would be closing soon and they could have easily denied our request to sit outside (see what I mean about great service?). Staff (Katie) was on it! Very attentive, informative, and easy to talk to - recommended great wine and menu items. Ordered the Specialty Salad (Caesar with added veggies - yum!) and Margherita Pizza with pepperoni with a side of their house made cheese/herb dipping sauce (yum and yum!). Would return in a heartbeat! Do not sleep on this location when in Albuquerque and looking for a great dining experience!
google avatar

Yelp
By far the best pizza in ABQ, probably the whole southwest. Perfect hybrid of New York and Neapolitan style. I lived in Brooklyn and probably ate pizza 5 times a week. I'd put Farina up against any of the top NYC spots. It's expensive, but if you're craving pizza and want to splurge, this is the place to go.
google avatar

Tae S.

Yelp
I loved everything about this place. If I lived in Albuquerque I would be a regular. The pizza has the right amount of sauce and toppings. I loved how you could half order the pizza. Everything was fresh and tasted as if they really cared about what they served. The bartenders were fantastic and the patrons were cool as well. I had a little taste of this mushroom pasta which was excellent. When I return to Albuquerque this will definitely be a stop.
google avatar

Robin O.

Yelp
This is a beautiful little pizza and wine spot near downtown Albuquerque. We were driving in from Santa Rosa, and I had to choose a lunch spot that would be near some attractions we were visiting (every Breaking Bad filming location). They had some vegetarian pizza options which I loved, a delicious salad with some green apple that I split with my daughter, and very nice tasting waters for my kids. We were the first ones there that day at 11:00 or 11:30 a.m., and we're greeted. Warmly by the manager. Our server was helpful with descriptions of the pizzas and checked on us frequently. We were sat in the window and got to watch people go by on skateboards and bicycles and in cars and buses. Another tip, there is an adorable boutique next door called Squidly, which is a collection of jewelry, art and clothing by local and regional artists. Everything is TikTok or Instagram worthy and very pop culture relevant. Definitely stop by there if you are shopping or have a few moments after lunch.

Yelp
Great vibe, very cool spot. Nice wines at a fair price. Pizza was definitely artisan, gourmet style. Not my style but so good and you can tell it's all quality ingredients. Oh boy, perfect char on the pizza. Very very good. Highly recommended. It's a date night spot. Not pizza with the team. Highly recommended.
