"Nestled between the Napa and Sonoma Valley, the FARM, the Carneros Resort's warm, though undoubtedly fancier dining option (the other is the roadhouse-style Boon Fly Café) is known for its stellar farm-to-table line-up. Much of the menu is dictated by what's seasonally thriving, so that may be heirloom tomatoes, little baby lettuce, beets, and carrots; meats and fish come from nearby farms, including the Bay Area. Napa-raised chef Aaron Meneghelli's dishes are a nod to his Italian roots, too, with orecchiette pasta, ricotta gnocchi and summer squash, and Urbani truffled burrata being some of our favorites to order. (There's also a gorgeously plated five-course tasting menu if you want to go all in.) The wine list is obviously impressive too, and the cellar features some 490-plus options, including Carneros bottles plus many other sustainable and biodynamically farmed options. "

At the restaurant in the Resort and Spa. It's seriously gorgeous! They've got this amazing dining room, a patio with a fireplace so cozy as well fancy! and a stylish bar. The NY STRIP is incredible… the chef does some really creative things with the sauces. Everything is super fresh, sourced locally, which is a huge plus. It's a little pricey, but honestly, the ambiance and the quality of the food make it totally worth it. If you're looking for a special occasion spot, or just want a truly memorable meal, you should definitely check it out!

Brunch was a hit—great food, even better service. The French toast was the standout for me… not just pretty on the plate, but absolutely delicious. Portions were generous (maybe a little too generous), but no complaints here. Already looking forward to going back!

Google
Went twice this month. The food is amazing. The server my aunt and I had the first time was so sweet and brought water for my dog. The second I went with my husband a server came and said the table we chose was reserved and we had to sit by the fire pits, and we should have checked with the host. We checked with the host and he sat us back at the same table that the server said was reserved. So that was odd. Beautiful landscape and scenery

We’ve been here for Sunday brunch and New Year’s Eve dinner 🎆 beautiful restaurant, loved the mixed drinks, really liked their brunch menu, and we liked the New Year’s Eve pre selected dinner. For the New Year’s Eve dinner, we walked around the hotel and enjoyed the holiday decorations (stunning). Personally, the brunch/lunch menu is my favorite. Highly recommend making reservations.

Google
Service was generally attentive, but suffered towards the end. The spaciousness throughout could be interpreted as slow or giving the diners their own time, so interpret how you will. Food was incredible! Portions are generous as are the pores.

Google
I tried their tasting menu a while ago. Overall, it was just okay. The wait between courses was a bit too long, and nothing really stood out to leave a strong impression. I’d say it was average, though I did appreciate some of the creative elements in a few of the dishes. The building itself is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant.

Google
The way you order is funny, they make you order 4 things off the menu to share. It was a really fun and interesting thing to do. It didnt seem like a lot of food but it was so filling for 3 of us.

On a summer day sitting outside on the patio and having a Sunday brunch you can't ask for a better place. We went here to celebrate a birthday. Being vegetarians, the brunch selection was not great. However, the service and the atmosphere made all the difference and it made it a very special day for us. Thie French toast here was light, fluffy and delicious. After brunch we went for a walk around their vegetable and flower gardens. It was really beautiful. There is also wine tasting if you are so inclined.

Yelp
Great spot for brunch! The menu is pretty expansive so they have a little for everyone. The steak and eggs were by far the best thing we tried. The vibe is pretty laid back out side, inside it is a bit more formal. The service was top notch. We got seated quickly, our orders were taken promptly and our food was out swiftly. I will certainly be back!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with great service and solid food. We were in Napa with family and wanted a nice spot for dinner, so we booked a table at The Farm. It's inside a hotel and has a lovely view. The vibe is relaxing and classy but not overly fancy or stuffy. The service was excellent--courteous, attentive, and fast--just what you'd expect from a place like this. We went in May, and it looks like they change up the menu seasonally. Tried a bunch of dishes, and while nothing blew me away, nothing was bad. Portions were just right, and I especially enjoyed the brussels sprouts and pasta.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance, nice for a special occasion. Overall the ambiance took the number one slot for this spot. My family & I ordered meatballs & tuna carpaccio for appetizers - both delicious! The red sauce definitely brought forward a smoky flavor I have yet to try with meatballs; for apps, nothing to blow us away but a good start. Up next: entree. As a gnocchi lover, it was far too soft, however still had delicious flavor. The serving size offered 5-6 pieces which for me was nice, but definitely worth noting. The service was slow for our liking but we have yet to encounter anyone who is unpleasant in the Napa Valley. FARM is a beautiful destination & worth visiting if you are a Carneros hotel guest... otherwise, there's more to explore in my book.

Yelp
I've only been to Farm for brunch, 3 times now! Safe to say I'm a fan. I love the concept of choosing 4 plates to share family style. My husband and I typically share entrees to try different things anyways so it's perfect for us. Every time we come here the menu has slight changes, but there's always classic items that remain like the lobster roll. Service has always been friendly, there's plenty of parking, and you can play yard games afterwards to help digest!

Nicole B.

Yelp
Definitely a must try. Their waitstaff is very friendly and helpful with guiding my experience. Not a single thing I tried disappointed and two even made my eyes roll into the back of my head... the lobster risotto and a chocolate brownie special *not pictured* This place is not like any other restart restaurant... it could easily stand on its own two feet! Shout out to them for introducing me to a new winery after explaining the profile I like as well as adjacent wineries

Yelp
Spent thanksgiving with my mom and the fluff here! The restaurant itself is just so incredibly beautiful! Staying here was an absolute dream! The Thanksgiving dinner here was delicious and made it very special to spend dinner here! The server was incredibly attentive and kind the entire dinner! Would absolutely come back next year for thanksgiving!

Yelp
Good food, great service, great ambiance - what more can I say? The restaurant is in a hotel and it meets all my expectations in terms of presentation, quality, and taste. I recommend you ask for a table outdoors - Beautiful outdoor seating options, multiple tables alongside a beautiful outdoor grassy area where you can play chess/bocce, etc. Came with a large group and a reservation and we were accommodated well. FOOD Got the buccatini pasta which was a small portion and not too flavorful but was still decently good relatively. Also ordered the scallops entree which was pretty good (only came with four scallops). For appetizers, we got the melon and prosciutto dish (not a huge fan), also enjoyed the focaccia as well- comes with whipped butter and olive oil. Servings for the good in general are actually very small but what can you expect. Lastly, I would recommend trying the lemon pistachio tiramisu this was delicious, light, and fluffy. Overall great ambiance and good quality of food. Ingredients of high caliber and seems as if the food was made with much care. Also nice staff so overall good experience. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger and then this would've been perfect!

Yelp
Had dinner here the first night at Carneros Resort and Spa. The entire place is absolutely beautiful. In my opinion there were not many starters to choose from. I settled on the beef tartare and for my entree did the pork chops and add the Brussels as my side. All was very tasty. I would dine here again.

Yelp
My daughter and her three friends were grossly overcharged for three special pastas at $80 a plate on her birthday dinner that she was going to pay for with her babysitting money. An additional $80 pasta was brought by mistake and since my daughter had NO idea the price agreed to eat that instead of her original order of gnocchi. The price was NEVER mentioned. It took two managers, over three weeks of reminder emails from me to finally get $50 compensation. Ridiculously poor customer service and management.

Yelp
I think they were just having an off night. The Fritto Misto was overly battered and served lukewarm, which was a real bummer. We would've sent it back, but the server never returned so he ate some of it. The chicken dish had a nice smell and flavor to it, but was served warm as well and a little dried out. The Oso buco was probably the best dish With polenta and a rich sauce. The wood mushrooms had an ingredient that couldn't be described to us by the server, but she was guessing that it was the type of vinegar they used. We only ate half of it.

Yelp
Review for The Farm Restaurant and Bar at Carneros Inn We visited The Farm Restaurant and Bar for their Sunday brunch, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is conveniently located at the Carneros Inn with plenty of parking, and the drive to the location was easy. We opted for the outdoor dining area, which was lovely and added to the relaxing vibe. The Sunday brunch special offers a selection of four dishes, with everyone at the table enjoying the same menu--a great way to share and savor the experience together. Here's what we tried: * Lobster Roll (5/5): Absolutely amazing! The bread was perfectly toasted, and the lobster was fresh, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. It was so good that we ordered an extra serving of this. A true standout dish! * Farm Benny (5/5) another standout the eggs is cooked just the way we liked it with salmon and topped with caramelized onions . Fantastic! * Shrimp and Polenta (4/5): The polenta was creamy with excellent texture, and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. However, this dish is very spicy--something to note if you're sensitive to heat. * Strawberry and Limoncello French Toast (5/5): The perfect ending to our meal. Every bite was delightful. It wasn't overly sweet, and the bread was divine. We all absolutely loved it! Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and efficient. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere made for the perfect Sunday brunch. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Best Eggs Benedict of my life. I don't know what they put in it. It looked like some kind of pesto sauce, but it was amazing. The banana fosters waffle was also incredibly delicious. I was worried it would be too sweet, but it wasn't. That's the best compliment an Asian person can give to a dessert. The restaurant in general is large and beautiful with plenty of seating inside and out. For the brunch menu, you choose four items on the menu and then they give you a portion enough for the number of people at the table. I like the opportunity to try multiple items. The other two items were the prime rib and the biscuits and gravy. I thought the prime rib was okay. Basically a piece of meat, but my favorite was the caramelized onions. Sweet and savory goodness. My least favorite was the biscuits. The flavors were pretty one dimensional and I couldn't even really tell there was sausage underneath. Service was excellent as expected. I wanna come back for brunch soon to try the other items in the menu.

Yelp
I had a lot higher expectations for the food here but it was a bit disappointing, especially the pastas lacked a lot in flavor and taste, I liked the appetizers a lot more than the mains though! The service was pretty great, everything came out pretty fast, and all the appetizers came out at the same time, only thing is that they accidentally charged us for 5 lemonades instead of the 3 that we ordered but fixed it right away. The environment is also very nice and it's huge inside.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant! Love the decor here. It is quite large and spacious. I loved the interior. I came here for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend. The wines were incredible, the mains and desert were really good as well. Good sized portions. Love the ambiance and service. Would highly recommend for a lovely evening out.

Yelp
Our experience at Farm at Carneros was truly unforgettable. Seated at the bar, we were treated to exceptional service by the bar manager, Eddy. The restaurant's stunning design features high ceilings and abundant windows that bathe the space in beautiful natural light. The modern, aesthetic decor enhances the overall ambiance. Additionally, there is a spacious outdoor dining area complete with fire pits and cozy couches. I can tell every aspect of this place is meticulously thought out. Eddy's menu recommendations were outstanding, and each dish we shared left us fighting for the last bite. The cocktails were equally impressive, showcasing Farm's expertise in flavor combinations. After indulging in the delicious food and drinks, we left feeling full, content, and extremely happy!

Yelp
Pretty solid typical upscale American restaurant for the area. Menu was well thought out, nice variety yet not too overwhelming. Extensive wine menu. Beautiful restaurant. Lots of indoor and outdoor tables. Pricey, but expected and the quality is there. Reasonable food portions. Service was ok. Took forever to get the check and pay. They don't do anything special aside from a verbal congrats if you are celebrating something Some kind of tiny complimentary crostini bite - decent Grilled striped bass $44 -good/decent. Fish was moist, tender, decent size. Orzo pasta underneath was tasty Lasagna $34 - good but very salty. Can see the layers, complexity of the dish, and amount of labor involved. Massive portion that can feed 2 Fried brussel sprouts $16 - good. Asked to not get it fried and they seemed to be able to accommodate. The flavoring was tasty, but very rich and creamy, sort of cancels out the healthy part of it being a vegetable

Yelp

Yelp
Had a great brunch here! It was unique because they offered breakfast in a 4 course meal type of style , I did find it weird they didn't have fresh squeezed orange juice for their mimosa for brunch hence the 4 star but over all it was really nice and the service was pretty good. I feel like they are trying to elevate but fresh squeezed is a must ! The waiter checked in us frequently we had some great moscato we had to buy a bottle to take home The parking was a bit rough I had to park and n the caddy section because I just couldn't find a park I think they share it with some neighboring stores or markets near by I'm not exactly sure but they didn't make it too much a big deal they were very accommodating -over all I would return nice spot and everybody says hello ma'am hello ladies ! I loved it ! They are trained well and they have valet parking

Yelp
Came here as a late Valentine's/boyfriend's birthday dinner to celebrate, as this is a higher end restaurant. We are visiting from the Bay Area and chose this place for dinner in Napa Valley. We made a reservation earlier today to make sure we get a seat. I love that they have complimentary wine right before you get into the restaurant. A complimentary appetizer was given, a small piece of bread with olives on it. We got the tortelloni (bf rates it 9/10 but 6/10 for me), Brussel sprouts (11/10) and the risotto (8.75/10). We HIGHLY recommend getting the brussel sprouts here if you would like savory + sweet combination. Lastly was a dessert that had pistachios, bananas, waffles and ice cream (bc rates it a 9, I rate it a 6, ice cream scoop was tiny but the lime zest made it tasty). Our dessert was dressed cute with a candle and a chocolate that says Happy Birthday. Our waitress is very friendly, feels like someone who is very easy to talk to and made us feel welcome. The ambiance of the place is nice as well, it's warm inside on a cold, rainy day, music not too loud, and candlelight on each table. Shoutout to the guy who refills water, my glass was never empty this whole evening.

Yelp
LOVE this place. The food, the service, the ambiance. We have been more than once, and although they do everything well, their drinks and chocolate desserts really stand out! Our server, Solange, was such a delightful person! Foodwise: Oysters: very good, had pomegranate sauce which was unique but I didn't really taste the pomegranate. Oysters were fresh, hot sauce was great. Farm Lettuces salad: sooo good! Really nice pistachio flavor, and chicory was a nice touch. Grilled salmon: they were out of trout, so they made the dish with salmon and we really enjoyed it. The roe was a nice touch in the dish. Radiatore: delicious, again great pistachio flavor but not too overwhelming. Winter harvest: bit heavy but good. Fresh root veggies, warm, and well-cooked. Chocolate Espresso pot de crème: my oh my my, this was the star of the show. I absolutely loved this dessert: so rich and creamy, my goodness. Highly recommend it! Olive oil cake: very good cake, moist, and heavy. I loved it!

Yelp
I came here for brunch a few months ago and I am still thinking about that eggs Benedict. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and they seemed to have a uniques spin on the classic brunch items. It was a fancy brunch but the money was worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
Awful. Manufactured vibes here. Totally inauthentic. Better places to go and feel/taste the Napa Valley farm to table. I was bummed we wasted a lunch here. Service here was just OK. They weren't busy but somehow no one cared to check on us or refill drinks, etc. One huge red flag were all the cooks, service professionals eating in the open kitchen. Literally eating from the set up station in the kitchen. Are they eating tasting food off my plate before they serve it? Regardless this is a health issue. Gross. They have an open kitchen so if your table is inside facing the kitchen you see it ALL. I saw them eating bacon, croutons, tomatoes. Must be non-existent and/ or poor management.

Yelp
havent been here in nearly 10 years and we went for my best friend's bday! i booked a 530p reservation with notes for a bday, by the time it came to close out the check, i had to remind waiter to do something special for my friend, a little embarassing, especially for a first class place like farm the spring menu's food didnt really stand out! however they did change the ambiance so it looks a little more brighter and vibrant inside!

Yelp
I decided to come out of semi Yelp retirement to write this review because there was a moment in our dining experience that irked me and bothered the rest of our group that I decided to share with you all. We came here for dinner and had a reservation. The setting and ambiance here was nice. Service was on point. We all enjoyed our food. The meatballs were solid, pasta was delicious, salad and bread was excellent. Now let's down to why I wrote this piece. Having visited a couple of wineries earlier that day, my cousins purchased some bottles for us to enjoy with dinner. We were kind enough to allow our server to taste some which she was happy to accept after initially being reluctant to. Later in the meal, she asked if it would be okay for our sommelier to try. Enter in the picture our sommelier; his face definitely lit up when he saw the silver oak bottle as it was a rare release and known to be a highly rated and amazing wine (nearly $300 bottle). He asks if he could pour himself some to taste, our group agrees then he proceeds to pour himself a full glass (nearly 3/4 full) and nearly finishing the rest of the bottle in the process. We were shocked to say the least as he says he was going to share some with the bartender; completely unprofessional and uncharacteristic behavior of a sommelier. I found it to be off putting and it honestly put a damper on the rest of our evening at the Farm. I'm not an expert but thought to make it right "hey maybe they might throw a dessert our way or something because we shared this wine with the staff and they would maybe reciprocate in return". No such luck. I don't intend to return here and a piece of advice; if you bring in some nice bottles of wine from the outside: Keep it away from the sommelier (assuming it's the same guy)

Yelp
We've stayed at the Carneros hotel a few times, but it has been a while. This new Farm restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed. We had just had a full day of a long lunch at RH and a charcuterie while wine tasting so we weren't very hungry and some of us ate light. The focaccia was tall and fluffy but so rich in flavor and was served with both creamy butter and olive oil. My husband and I shared the grilled striped bass and it was cooked perfectly. Our friend's crispy little potatoes kept calling out to me... good thing he was willing to share. Crunchy goodness!

Yelp
Enjoyed an impromptu late Sunday Brunch. Our server Brandon made great recommendations and we weren't disappointed. Service is great. Food was awesome! Loved the oysters and rib eye... everything just melted. Loved their attention to details, the menu options were just right. They don't have a dessert menu but there are some beignets you must save room for! The caramel and chocolate sauce makes it even better!!!! Thank you Brandon for such a great service!!!

Yelp
This place is really nice inside but wasn't impressed with the menu or food. Prices are on the high side with a boring menu. Service was of nothing over the top. I would pass on this place Napa has so much more to offer. FYI my family all agreed.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Food was good, ambience was elevated, service was great and attentive. We loved everything we got. They even gave us a little extra dessert at the end in addition to the birthday dessert we got. We got an early reservation for dinner. Went to the bar after for mocktails. Overall a great experience! Would go back, would recommend.

Yelp
Service was exceptional - the new menu has MANY more choices and more affordable / we bought a bottle of Barolo which was excellent with the food - portions are very generous.

Yelp
Ambiance is great! Kind of reminds me of restoration hardware :) The service was wonderful as well - they're always attentive to your water glass and if you need anything. As for the food, we ordered a whole bunch as we came with the bridal party. Out of all the dishes we ordered, the chicken entree, pesto pasta, and the Brussels sprouts were the most outstanding. Initially we were wondering how a blueberry puree would work with the Brussels sprouts - but goodness gracious - it is absolutely divine!! The rest of the entrees were not bad, but didn't particularly stand out. The tagliatelle meatballs had too strong of a blue cheese pungent. Other than that - great for a date night or to celebrate something special!

Mel B.

Yelp
Amazing dining and ambience! Gorgeous modern farmhouse vibe with a big fire and open kitchen. Comfortable seating with pillows, doting service, and large wine offerings (Napa, naturally). Food was flavorful and rich, serving sizes a tad small, so expect to share multiple plates around the table. Gnocchi was some of the best I've had, and I highly recommend the lobster risotto. You'll not be disappointed if you're looking for fine dining.

Yelp
WTF! What the Farm! This place is pretty insane. We did the tasting menu years ago for my birthday. We ordered a bottle of wine (overpriced, but it was my birthday so who cares) and let them guide us thru 6-7 different plates and a number of amuse bouche. It was so spectacular and at the time, I had to stay away from gluten and they were able to tailor my plates to that. Thank God I don't have to be gluten free anymore! As for the items on the plate, I honestly can't remember the specifics, but when we left, we were full (but not overly) and wanted to return. It's a pricey menu, but well worth it for a special occasion. It was comfortable, warm and elegant and the wait staff was very informative, leading us thru each item without overstaying their welcome.

Raegan P.

Yelp
Excellent food but they charge for ice! We ordered an old fashioned and it was an extra charge for a large ice cube (which is standard for an old fashioned).

Lucci P.

Yelp
The restaurant is super pretty!! Waiter was super sweet but when she offered the specials it was conveyed in a way that made it seem similar to the other pastas which are priced around $16 but when we received the bill every pasta was $80 which significantly changed the cost of dinner. As well as I asked for Gnocchi and received the $80 special and was charged for the special. The waiter was nice and gave us a 20% off all the pastas but still the hill was hefty. As well as the restaurant took advantage of 4 teenage girls by not informing them of prices my Make sure to ask for prices first!!

Mike P.

Yelp
Food is 7/10. Service was great. The place was beautiful. Will come again. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Jason P.

Yelp
Great experience and service is always on point. Pastas are so good (smaller portion - would not get as a meal but good to share as a group before entrees). Dirty martinis were a bit light but they fixed it with no problem and were very prompt with checking in. After dinner go hangout by the fire pit and listen to the live music!
google avatar

Yelp
Carneros Farm is outstanding. The food is delicious and, except for the rib eye, very reasonably priced. Service is terrific. They made a pasta dish for my daughter that was not on the menu. Carneros Farm deserves the highest praise I can give. Oh, and the property is breathtaking.

Yelp
Came here for a happy hour and absolutely loved it. Ambiance is spectacular -- amazing outdoor space with plenty of seating. The cocktails were equally amazing, however I should note that they don't have many beers; the couple they had weren't even listed on the menu. The menu is also on the light-side, less than a dozen items, but the few we sampled were all top notch. Service was also good; everyone was friendly and our server went out of his way to get a new propane tank to spark-off the fire-pit for our group. I'll definitely be coming back and recommend swinging by if you're in the area.
google avatar

Morgan W.

Yelp
Really cute place for a special occasion! Before dinner in the late afternoon, we sat on the outdoor patio and listened to a guy play acoustic guitar over drinks and snacks. It was a hot day, but everything was well shaded. It was fun to walk the grounds and see where they grow their produce and house their chickens. Then we moved to their restaurant (outdoor seating) where I had a veggie entree with the truffle add-on, stupendous California wines, rosemary sourdough bread, and a hazelnut chocolate dessert and coffee. Everything was perfect except for a hint of condescension from the waitress (I love good food, but I never grew up going to anywhere nice. I don't know the difference between forks, or how to ask appropriate questions about the wine and food sourcing, and I was made to feel a bit self-conscious after some of the exchanges). It wasn't enough though to sour the experience, and I'd totally come back to enjoy their food and even stay overnight.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
I really don't know how this place has a 4 star rating. We went with a party of 6, and every dish was really salty, the fish tasted off, the octopus salad smelled really fishy, and the bread came out cold and after the main courses were served. The food was so bad, I wonder if anyone even tasted the food before serving it to customers. If just one of the six meals came out salty or off, it's an anomaly. If all six come out came out bad, it says something else. This place wasn't worth the drive and definitely not worth the $250 we spent. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

Yelp
We weren't sure about Farm based on some of the reviews on here but we had dinner there and loved it. Very cool space- we sat outside on a gorgeous night. Corn planeta was amazing. Could have made that my dinner. Focaccia is great. The butternut squash bolognese was okay, but my wife liked it more than me. Pistachio tiramisu a good way to cap it. Service was maybe a tad slow but I'd be happy to eat here again.
google avatar

A. D.

Yelp
This time around I'd give them 3 stars. We have been going to Farm for many years now and their food ( particularly their Sunday brunch) used to outstanding. Not sure if it is the post Covid phenomenon, the food is super pricey now , and the dishes were ok. Not sure this will be on repeat a list anymore .

Yelp
Date of Visit: 1/1/2023 Beware! They overcharged our tip amount! Check your bank statement after visiting. We visited the FARM at Carneros on 1/1/2023 for dinner. The cocktail and food were good but they overcharged us (we did take a photo of the tip and total amount). In addition, the price of the cocktail I ordered on the menu and the check amount was NOT THE SAME. I told the waitress before paying, and she had to fix it manually (changed it to another cocktail name to fix the price). * Rocky Mountain Elk Tartare Elk tartare mixed with fermented maple, preserved huckleberries, and with pickled mustard and bread on the side. A very special appetizer. * Corvus Farms Duck I got the farm duck, with two pieces of duck breast, and pear on the side with caramelized onion jus. Love the taste of the duck. * Risotto Del Mar Risotto with scallop, clam, mussels, a little heavy at the end.

Alexandra C.

Yelp
So disappointed-brought a group here for dinner. This restaurant fills with smoke from open kitchen-my lungs were literally burning. And the service was totally inattentive and slow. Nice place but needs a lot of work in service and ventilation. And, waited forever for drinks and any refills and when food finally came, wait staff then took our plates away while we were still chewing the food. So weird!

Yelp
We were planning to have a great dinner at this restaurant and one by one it was falling apart. The cocktails were probably the highlight of the dinner. Our bruschettas were more like grilled cheese sandwiches- not fresh but greasy. The oysters were good. The mains- one came in time but mine was taken incorrectly. The waiter quickly recognized the error on their side and sent out the right one shortly- however we waited for the sides for another good amount of time. We spent two hours here just sitting and waiting for food. As a gesture- rightfully- the waiter voided the main and side charges- but I wish we just went somewhere else instead as a conclusion. I didn't bother taking pictures of the food as nothing came out as it was described on the menu apart from the oysters and the cocktails.

Yelp
The food was great. We ordered a variety of appetizers and main dishes. All of them were elegantly presented and tasted well. Service was prompt and the ambiance is spacious and unique. Ample parking.

Yelp
There aren't enough great things to say about this resort / restaurant. I came in wearing street clothes and a hat yet the staff here treated me like a VIP. From the meticulously crafted menu & new chef, to the friendly bar service and professional management checking to make sure everything is to my standard. It's like being on an episode of cheers but on the very first visit. Friendly, approachable, amazing food (get the crudo & chicken parm sandwich), and great energy! Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
TLDR: Solid upscale restaurant with great food located at Carneros Resort and Spa. Darker "lounge"-type environment. Has a beautiful bar area where you can get drinks before the restaurant officially opens. Not a 5/5 for me because didn't wow me with anything and felt like just a great upscale dining experience. FOOD: We came here for early dinner on a weekend and the restaurant wasn't too packed during the colder months. Dinner came with an amuse bouche, and then the top dishes we enjoyed included the pork belly (so tender and the fat melted in our mouths), the risotto (creamy and was a large portion), and the mushrooms (had different kinds of mushrooms and all were so flavorful, which is saying a lot coming from someone who doesn't like mushrooms that much). Besides the risotto though, I found the portions to be quite small and difficult to share. ENVIRONMENT: The restaurant is quite spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of space between tables for some extra privacy. The vibes are dark and lounge-y, as if in a jazz club (as opposed to buzzy and electric or cozy and quiet). I was actually a little cold in the restaurant so I kept my coat on during dinner. SERVICE: Standard for what you'd expect at a place like this.
