"Set within the Carneros Resort and Spa, FARM Restaurant + Bar is an inviting Italian spot ideal for larger groups, as the menu has something for everyone. Under the direction of chef Chase Immel and pastry chef Ethan Howard, it balances familiar dishes, done impeccably — think pizzas, pastas, and fresh salads — alongside reinvented Italian-American classics like a Caesar salad with bagna cauda dressing or a cioppino featuring Salt Spring mussels, Hokkaido scallops, braised baby fennel, and Kaluga caviar. The restaurant’s brunch is also among the most creative in Napa, with standout dishes like a citrus sourdough waffle topped with lemon curd and bergamot syrup or their signature eggs Benedict, featuring smoked salmon, salsa verde, and a morita brown butter hollandaise piled atop a freshly baked Model Bakery English muffin. For a more laid-back experience, you can also head next door to Pavilion, FARM’s open-air, no-reservations-needed al fresco lounge. "Nestled between the Napa and Sonoma Valley, the FARM, the Carneros Resort's warm, though undoubtedly fancier dining option (the other is the roadhouse-style Boon Fly Café) is known for its stellar farm-to-table line-up. Much of the menu is dictated by what's seasonally thriving, so that may be heirloom tomatoes, little baby lettuce, beets, and carrots; meats and fish come from nearby farms, including the Bay Area. Napa-raised chef Aaron Meneghelli's dishes are a nod to his Italian roots, too, with orecchiette pasta, ricotta gnocchi and summer squash, and Urbani truffled burrata being some of our favorites to order.
