Farm Girl Cafe Review - Notting Hill - London - The Infatuation

"Farm Girl goes all in on the Australian healthy-eating thing for the Notting Hill crowd, right down to the coconut ‘bacon’, macadamia butter, and optional sprinklings of superfoods. If you want to roll your eyes, by all means, go for it. But you should also know that the whole health thing here actually comes with some very good food attached. Sandwiches and salads are great, and while expensive when you look at the menu (around £10-11 for a full-size sandwich), a full size order should be big enough for two to share. And just so you know: they do serve meat, in form of steak and chicken, and fish too. Drinks are a surprising strong point. ‘Liquid Gold’ - lime juice, ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, nutmeg, astragalus, and honey - would be worth drinking even if it weren’t allegedly good for you. The location guarantees a mob scene on Saturdays, but you’ll probably queue on Mondays too. So swallow your mockery with a sprinkling of spirulina. photo credit: Rob Greig photo credit: Rob Greig photo credit: Rob Greig" - Richard Ehrlich

The Best Bad Restaurant Reviews of 2018 | Eater

"A sanitized, health-focused Australian cafe whose new outpost struck the critic as a cartoonish, joyless interpretation of farmhouse style populated by trend-driven clientele; dishes disappointed — an artichoke plate evoked an overheated suburban living room and jackfruit tostadas were fibrous and stuck in the teeth atop an aggressively acidic guacamole — inspiring scathing one-liners about a lack of taste and joy." - Monica Burton

A small little local cafe in the heart of Stirling. We went on a quiet Saturday morning and this cafe was very welcoming with beautiful vintage decor. My husband died for the cinnamon buns. What made this experience for me was as a celiac there was a separate case for gluten free items and the barista used separate tongs and everything - finally someone who understands or is trained to help minimize the cross contamination and reduce the stress/fear of us gluten intolerant/allergy folks. The coffee was delicious and was the perfect temperature. The gluten free cranberry muffin was amazing - the texture was perfect as was the taste-something that’s not easy to master. The prices were also excellent. Thank you Farm Girl Cafe, you just became our new favourite Saturday morning date location.

Farm Girl Cafe in Stirling Ontario is the cafe that other cafes wish they were. The atmosphere is welcoming any time of the year, I know because we have been there in all seasons as well as special evening events. The service is exceptional considering the majority of the work is done by the two owners. They are the chefs, the cleaning staff, the counter staff, the servers and anything else that is needed. I honestly don’t know how they do it so well all the time. The food is also top notch. This is not hearsay, this is from someone that has tried their delicious menu items from sweet treats to amazing soups, salads and sandwiches. What I haven’t personally tried other members of my family have. Our family lives from Ottawa to Toronto to England and we all look forward to every chance we get to go. I think the reason I finally wrote my review is that I saw a review by some obviously sad person named JoAnne. I was devastated by her review and wondered what kind of satisfaction someone could get from being so cruel and scathing of a cafe she went to once, I can only imagine how it affected the owners of Farm Girl. She was just rude and unwarranted. Not sure where she normally eats out, maybe McDonald’s but I would like to know what she is comparing prices to? The prices are fine, the quantity and quality of ingredients are amazing. I feel sorry for you JoAnne if something so ignorant brings you satisfaction. Have a day.

This is one of the best places you can stop in Stirling & enjoy an amazing cup of coffee with some homemade treats! The sandwiches are nothing short of delicious as well... The girls behind the counter are always smiling and are always chatting making this an experience worth paying for. Don't listen to miserable JoAnne, if you do you will miss out on a local staple of this community!!!!

When someone says a quaint, local cafe, where everyone knows everyone and the menu is crafted with care, I think of this place! I’m in the around about half of the year and this is one of the places I’m always excited to visit again. The staff are friendly, the drinks are refreshing and delicious, and the homemade pastries…let’s just say it’s hard to choose just one! This visit, we ordered the ice cherry vanilla latte (a perfect subtle cherry taste made this drink extra refreshing) as well as a slice of their blueberry peach pie (with a side of whipped cream). The crust was light and flaky. The filling was perfectly sweet with generous chunks of peaches and blueberries. A wonderful treat! I should also mention that their decor is unique and cozy. You can tell a lot of people are regulars here, which is lovely! They had some toys for kids, and the bathroom was very well equipped for changing infants - husband was thoroughly impressed at the thoughtfulness of amenities. Definitely worth a try

I come here often and must say it’s one of my best places to eat. I love the fact that when the ladies say it’s homemade it is. Girls put so much love in preparing food for the Community. Also smiling, and so positive about their passion of foods. I also love the variety from breakfast lunch and dessert. I have also purchase pies and cakes from them for family events. I get great reviews from my family. Keep it and expand.PS I come from Brighton to eat here. Leslie ❤️

Thank you Farm Girl for making the delicious and scrumptious desserts for our daughter’s wedding on Jun 21, 2025. The event wedding was held at the beautiful venue @Farmhillweddings Farm Girl surprised us on the special occasion by closing their business at 1:30 PM. This was truly kind and thoughtful of Farm Girl. When we had asked Farm Girl to cater our daughter’s wedding…”They advised …This is something they do not do; but, they decided to do it”…. Only because, we had expressed how much we loved their food, atmosphere of the cafe and their bubbly personalities. We further explained…” When we ate their food , we felt the “love” in every bite. Yes, we know this sounds odd …But, it’s so true. Farm Girl staff truly care for their customers and the community. This is why we had wanted only Farm Girl to cater the desserts, for our daughter’s and now son-in-law’s special day. Again, thank you so much Farm Girl staff Meg, Rachelle and Mary-Louise for the beautiful decor arrangement and the “out of this world” desserts. We are forever grateful. ❤️ Jasmin, Callum, Wayne and Roca ❤️

Farm girl is a friendly place with delicious drinks and amazing food! Believe me I’ve tried A LOT of it and you can’t make a bad choice! It’s also kid friendly with a toy box and baby mat, so mamas stop in and drink your coffee while it’s still hot! Farm kid and mom approved!

Food: amazing home Made Cream of Broccoli soup with a fresh croissant. Cookies looked so good I grabbed one for myself and 6 for my Uniform and Facility Service Clients with UniFirst Service: consistent and friendly as always Atmosphere: Cafe Havens like this are what keep Canadians going on those cold dark days and really show how big of a community they draw on sunny winter days like today. Also so nice to see the decor and Cafe businesses complimenting eachother with easy walk through to each.
