I had really high hopes for this burger spot after seeing it all over TikTok, but unfortunately, it was highly overrated in my opinion. When we arrived, it took a couple of minutes to figure out what was going on because there was a chain up at the door, so we initially thought they might be closing. The seating area is extremely limited and quite cramped, but we were told there would be a 20-minute wait, which was fine. In the end, it actually took less time to be seated, which was a nice surprise.
We had to order at the door before being given our table. The menu seemed pretty straightforward, so we went with the cheeseburger and fries. First impressions were good in terms of service — the guy at the front was extremely friendly. However, neither he nor the menu mentioned that the “cheeseburger” wasn’t a plain cheeseburger. It came with tomato sauce and pickles inside. As someone who really dislikes those toppings and prefers a plain cheeseburger, this was disappointing, especially since it wasn’t clearly stated on the menu.
I didn’t want to be difficult as the place was extremely busy and clearly understaffed, so I just ate it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even finish it because I didn’t enjoy it. The burger itself was very average — I’ve honestly had better smash burgers back home. The fries were also overly crispy, oily, and way too salty.
Overall, I was just not impressed and left feeling really disappointed, especially given the hype.
