Google
Slow service but baked goods are SO amazing! I’m not even vegan, but I loved their croissants. Definitely give this place a shot. Also, the cat art and photos everywhere made my day.

Google
Such a cute little spot. The coffee is really good, but most coffee tastes good to me so... but was nice to have all the vegan options without the upcharge. The vegan baked goods really stood out, though. I don't know how they do some of it, and I cook a lot. Will be back regularly!

Google
Entire store is Dairy Free and there are Gluten Free options as well! Being gluten and dairy intolerant myself I know the struggle of finding good quality and great tasting options. Fat Cats has definitely done it right! The staff was also super friendly and helpful! I will 100% be back!

Google
Food was good, coffee was really good, and the prices were reasonable, but I just don’t understand how they stay afloat with these hours. Want a cup of coffee before work? Nope. This place doesn’t open until 9AM. Want a coffee after work? No chance, this place closes at 3PM. It’s not open on Mondays or Tuesdays either. Is this some kind of non-profit coffee shop? Is this place running off of money from some kind of federal grant?

OMG, it is not often you find a place that captures your taste and appreciates your patronage. Fat Cats is the perfect spot for delish ice cream and sweet pastries. Zach provides great customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. I had the Liz Lemon Cookie ice cream, and I must say that for this creamy concoction of lemonocity I will drive the 30 min across town. If I could I would buy a tub of it for myself. My husband and kiddos had cookie dough and cookies and cream and they absolutely enjoyed theirs too. I appreciate the vegan ice cream offerings and the quality of the pastries we had a cat cookie and cinnamon roll. Even our dog enjoyed her fresh baked dog treats. Our new family sweet spot for sure!

Google
We are from out of town visiting friends and stopped by this place for breakfast and coffee. We tried several desserts and some of the savory kolache and croissant options. Everything was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly! When we come back to Austin, we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!!!!!!

Google
the baked goods are phe👏🏼no👏🏼me👏🏼nal 👏🏼 here! my omnivore husband enjoyed as well. i’ve had the ham n cheese croissant, bbq jalapeño kolache, rosemary bagel, strawberry cream croissant, and the raspberry lemon muffin. will definitely return and return again to get a quick bite to eat. i took off a star because, while i love cats, i wish the cafe had a cozier vibe. they have these two velvet mustard colored sofa chairs in the back which is nice but otherwise all of the tables/chairs/lights are black and it doesn’t feel like an atmosphere i want to sit down and have a chat over a coffee/tea/treat in. it feels cold and everything is a little random. the bathroom is clean and there are games you can play. i wish it was more light and airy and cozy. the service is very shy, i was never greeted each time i’ve been in. appreciate the reusable dining ware for dining in. one day they were all out of savory baked goods in the morning, they didn’t say why but i also didn’t ask.

Google
Great experience as a vegan tourist. Had lots to eat and since it was my last day in Austin, I definitely had to buy half a dozen as the ones I had in the shop were delicious. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My personal recommendation would be the mazapan croissant. That flavor just takes it to the next level. 5/5 stars, can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in town.

Yelp
Is there anything better than breakfast for dinner? That's a rhetorical question because obviously, no, there is not. There are degrees of excellence depending on the entree, of course, and a flaky vegan croissant stuffed with all manner of morning fare, including eggless scramble, meatless sausage, and a rainbow if veggies definitely reaches the upper echelon. Craving something sweeter? Of course they've got you there too. Fantastic cakes and cupcakes across the board that are moist and tender, with light whipped frosting that is perfectly balanced, not just sugary. While I've always gotten my treats to go, everyone working has been incredibly kind and welcoming. I'd love to stay for a while, one of these days!

Anna R.

Yelp
This place is amazing! So happy to find vegan croissants that are perfectly doughy and light with just the right amount of crispness. The original was super tasty- flaky and buttery, very satisfying. Hubby loved his spinach croissant- said it tasted like saag paneer in a croissant! Their coffee was great too! The staff were very nice and relaxed and super accommodating. We'll definitely be coming back to try other things soon!

Lauren S.

Yelp
If you're looking for cozy coffee-shop vibes, you probably won't find them here. The music was so faint that it was easily drowned out by the humming machinery, lending the whole café an eerie, almost clinical atmosphere. The entire back half of the store near the bathrooms feels dark and abandoned. The pastry display cases were unlit, leaving me unsure whether that food was available for order. Still, this place has potential. I enjoyed my cappuccino and the breakfast croissant was perfectly flaky- seriously, that first bite alone was worth the visit. The taco empanada wasn't bad either, even though the cashew cream added nothing to the experience other than making it hard to eat with my hands. There are also a lot of endearing touches typical to coffee shops here- board games, paintings by local artists, etc. I'm not a vegan myself but think it's great that there's a spot with such an extensive vegan menu in the area. Given the vegan ethos of the place, I was disappointed to be given a disposable cup after indicating I'd be sitting down with my coffee. Not only would reusable mugs be better for the environment, but they'd add to the sense that this cafe is a place where people can relax and enjoy their food and drink.

Kiana A.

Yelp
Yay for being a fully vegan spot!! But unfortunately was not impressed with the quality and taste of both the food and drinks. We got the bbq jalapeño kolache, raspberry cream cheese croissant, and chocolate chip cookie and we're not impressed with any of them. The Kolache in specific tasted pretty processed / low quality. Coffee was very mediocre as well. Customer service was great however!

Tracey Z.

Yelp
A quaint little shop with all vegan items!!! It is kind of dark inside but warm. I came at the end of the day so the whole case was kind of empty but I got to try the Kolaches - jalapeño bbq brisket and jalapeño sausage and cheese. But we're pretty pricey for a kolache but vegan food always is. The bbq brisket was kind of flavorless, I would pass on it next time. But the sausage one was incredible. So much flavorful and spice and the cheese was melty with soft bread. The service was also really sweet, let my friend and I stay late after they closed up so we could chat. Good little shop, just pricey.

Yelp
Cute cafe to have a nice pastries and drinks. Enjoyed a little gallery on their walls that were for sales. Service was decent. It is located next to the hairshop I go to, so whenever I had a bit time to waste before appointment, this cafe is good to spend some time.

Stephanie K.

Yelp
I have been a fan of Fat Cats for a long time and I have waited too long to write a post about them! Fat Cats is such an exceptional bakery! I love their chocolate croissants, ham and cheese croissants, their cinnamon rolls, their cheese danishes, their empanadas and more. We also got their Apple Streusel pie yesterday, and WOW, it was the most delicious pie we have ever had--truly outstanding and life changing! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Fat Cats!

Bonnie N.

Yelp
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My son and his fiance decided to elope, but invite a very few people. This all was happening very quickly, and they live out of town, so I decided my husband and I would do a taste test of chocolate and white vegan cupcakes. You can read below more on our taste test at the bottom of my review, but ultimately, we chose Fat Cats. I ordered a rainbow white vegan cake with vegan buttercream frosting and strawberry compote along with a dozen chocolate vegan cupcakes with raspberry compote. Ordering was easy, communication was great and everyone was so friendly when I picked up. The cake was lovely, but when the bride and groom cut into it and everyone saw the rainbow layers, the 'oooo's' and 'ah's' were epic! Everyone loved both the cake and cupcakes, they were a definite hit. I don't think anything was left on anyone's plates. So, here's more on our taste test. After securing recommendations, checking out Reddit and checking online, I left the house with five places to pick up cupcakes. Fat Cats just happened to be the first I stopped at. Jacquelyn overheard me chatting with her staff and came over to visit with me. She was super friendly and really seemed excited to help make the kids' day great. I bought both chocolate and white vegan cupcakes. The second place was closed. The third place only had chocolate vegan cupcakes and said they don't make white vegan cupcakes, so I passed. The fourth place said white vegan cake tends to end up being gummy, but she would make one, so I bought one chocolate vegan cupcake. The fifth place, I bought both chocolate and white vegan cupcakes at another well known vegan place. At home that night, I cut the cupcakes up and we tasted them. I knew immediately I liked the ones from Fat Cats best, but wasn't sure if I was prejudiced because Jacquelyn and her staff was so nice. Hubby said for sure they were the best tasting. The chocolate cupcake we got at the fourth place tasted like it was burnt on top and the frosting was just ok. The cupcakes from the fifth place had frosting that tasted odd, and they were not as fresh tasting. Finally, I might add that I picked up an everything bagel and cream cheese for the bride, and she liked it. It's a cute place! While I'm not personally vegan, if I lived in the neighborhood I think I'd be in here frequently.

Jack G.

Yelp
Okay their donuts are SO good that I no longer want donuts anywhere else. I used to love donuts from anywhere / everywhere, and now those all mean nothing to me because Fat Cat's donuts are so good. Insane.

Patrick W.

Yelp
Meaning, no disrespect, but for a coffee shop that is named after a cat and paintings of animals on the wall I can't even bring my dog inside for a nice cup of coffee. Good coffee though.

Kaitlin O.

Yelp
A great spot for desserts, and everything is vegan! Including the kolaches with "meat" in it. I ordered the brownie and I couldn't even tell that it wasn't real chocolate and didn't have egg in it. I'm sure the coffee is great too:)

Madeline A.

Yelp
HOW have I not tried this place before!? I am so blown away by the vegan pastry and milk selection. In a word, amazing. The croissants and empanadas...delicious and so perfectly flaky. My hemp cappuccino was perfect-- wonderfully flavored with the right amount of steamed milk and foam. I can't recommend this place enough. Go support them right now and buy everything. We need Fat Cats in Austin forever!

Nicole G.

Yelp
Loved their breakfast croissant & blackberry kolache. Comfy seating, kind staff, and nice vibe with the art for sale and bookshelf of fun reads.

Will A.

Yelp
When it comes to coffee and baked goods, no one does both quite as well as Fat Cats. You can tell that the baked goods are scratch made with quality ingredients and the coffee is fantastic. If you're looking for something savory, you can get delicious flaky spinach or breakfast croissants, sausage and cheese kolaches, or breakfast empanadas. If you want something sweet, their cupcakes and cake are decadent and moist and their dessert croissants are always delicious. The coffee though... that was the biggest surprise. Whether you're getting just drip coffee / espresso or a cafe con leche, latte, cold brew, it's all roasted well, made with the perfect ratios of flavor, and the cold brew even has coffee ice cubes to keep from diluting the flavor. It's hard to be anything but a regular!

Skinny L.

Yelp
the only cafe ive seen in austin so far that offers hemp milk hemp milk hemp milk hemp milk

Jana B.

Yelp
Amazing vegan and gluten free pastries. The empanadas and scones are incredible. Super nice people too. Women-owned!

Shradha A.

Yelp
Living in South Austin, you keep hearing about all these cool North Austin vegan places and this one is also organic! But unfortunately, the substance didn't follow the hype for this one. After calling and specifically requesting the empanada be warmed up, it was given to us not just cold, but under-cooked. As if they had semi-cooked it, waiting for an order to come in to complete the bake fresh, but skipped that last step. It was doughy and chewy, nothing like the empanadas I had in Argentina or Colombia, which are crispy. And I'd be a bit easy on the stars after trying only one item, if, they hadn't told me that the empanadas - and kolaches - are their most popular items. I really think they forgot to complete the bake - I have no other explanation for why something would be served this undercooked. I noticed that most other elites have reviewed the drinks here and not much food besides donuts. Hmmm

Elyse M.

Yelp
Fat Cats is delicious! And everything is vegan! Everything I've had here has been spectacular! The donuts are moist and yummy, croissants are perfection, the fillings are a good amount and great flavors! I really enjoyed the croissant muffin thing I got, the outside was crunchy and inside was bready and it was covered in cinnamon sugar. So good! The biscuits and gravy were also really good though for ease of eating I'll probably opt for the filled croissants more often. Can't wait to try more items, Everything has been a hit so far!

Kayla M.

Yelp
Popped in for the first time the other day & I'm so glad I did! I ordered a coffee cake muffin, chocolate croissant, and Pride brownie ($1 went to a local LGBTQIA nonprofit). Plenty of parking, service was prompt & efficient, prices are reasonable, and most importantly - everything I ordered was super yummy. I'll definitely be back!

Sasha i.

Yelp
Oh boy where do I start... I'm a POC vegetarian from outside of Austin only ever visited fat cats twice that I've been to Austin and well every single time I've gone it's been horrible service, while I would like to go back and visit this would be my last time ever supporting this place. I went in with a few girlfriends and once we walked in this barista just stared at us and then looked at my and SCOFFED at me gave her no reason to I was simply looking at the pastries. Then when it was time to pay she refused to charge my on one side of the counter and had a tone the whole time, what makes it weirder after I paid she charged another customer (NOT POC) on that side she refused me. I felt not very welcome and so did my friend. The girl is BALD white and has tattoos I would avoid her

Bailey C.

Yelp
Didn't enjoy this place. Not a lot of light in this shop. It's too dark and they were out of almost everything. We went on St. Patrick's Day for the green clover cookies and were told they have them in stock but were "slow to bring them out" as in they hadn't finished making them. I had a cold brew and a cookie that tasted old. I won't be back.

Lucy J.

Yelp
Got my hair done and randomly walked into this Café. Latte with oat milk was fantastic! The aroma from espresso was right on spot! So glad I stopped by here before heading out. Place is slightly on the greasy side, perhaps because of all the baked goods. But doesn't stop me coming back for another coffee.

Sabrina B.

Yelp
This has very unique coffee, but in a completely good way. I got the caramel cappuccino with coconut milk and my boyfriend had the cold brew. I heard the cold brew was good and I was still surprised on how good it was. The ice is also made from coffee so it doesn't water down! The cappuccino also tastes very unique, but you'd have to try it to know what I mean. Super good even on a hot summer day. I love the vegan options and I'm glad there's many different type of sweeteners, even vegan "honey". The guy gave us a free biggggg scoop of ice cream, and they sell nada moo! Seriously such good ice cream. Good potent syrups. Free books. I really like this place. 5/5. Edit: this review of mine literally just repeats "good" and "unique" but please bear with me and try it because it's hard to describe but so worth it.

Kyle B.

Yelp
This was an awful coffee shop experience and I'm not looking for much. The server was rude and it took nearly 30 minutes to get a drip coffee (only 3 people inside). This would be fine except the server was still rude and acted as if I was an inconvenience to her day. Just a little bit of communication and basic manners would go a very long way. As a heads up, this place is also vegan so there are no milk products for the coffee and I'm unsure how you make ice cream without cream...

Ashley C.

Yelp
This little coffee shop is so cute, and it was a fairly positive first vegan bakery experience I had. While Fat Cats is located near an apartment complex, you may have to search for parking for a good period of time. And many of the parking spots have towing that's enforced, so this shop might not be a good place to study for periods of time over two hours. I ordered the birthday cake donut and the lavender Earl grey tea. Both were okay. The birthday cake donut definitely tasted like a vegan dessert: Soft and sugary. The Earl grey tea was decent too. I could definitely smell the lavender, and the tea tasted great with a tiny bit of agave syrup they have along with the sugar and stevia. The environment is relaxing, but the music is still loud enough to be audible even when you're zoning out. The menu is easy to read, and Fat Cats has a huge variety of tea. The coffee menu is straightforward to read for a coffee beginner, and Fat Cats offers vegan-frisndly milks like hemp and macadamia milk. I would suggest this coffee shop for the tea at least. Especially if you're someone that's vegan/vegetarian or trying to start your new dietary restrictions.

Eric G.

Yelp
I used to go here everyday after moving into an apartment and before I got a coffee maker. They have a really great setup for covid. You order online and let them know when you're nearby. then they will bring your order out to you. The regular drip coffee was always perfect. The lattes, both flavored and regular, were also spot on. To add to the enjoyment of it all they also often drew cute pictures on the cup.. they were often pretty clever and fun to anticipate. If in the area you can't go wrong with fat cats for coffee!

J R.

Yelp
Everything is awesome here especially the kolaches and donuts! Very nice and chill staff too. Will be back!

Ken O.

Yelp
Great variety of cruelty-free kolaches, cookies, croissants. Friendly and good atmosphere, just wish they opened earlier.

Mel A.

Yelp
Tried this place a few times to give it a fair review. Staff at this place is friendly, they know how to treat people, and they are NOT racist Mari has an excellent attitude in the mornings and makes sure you're absolutely satisfied with your experience. . . all with a big smile on her face. I've been helped by other staff members who aren't as energetic as Mari, but they still do a good job and are courteous with good customer service. The chocolate chip cookies are superb!!! Shoutout to Rose who bakes these heavenly bites EVERYTHING here is vegan & they have gf options My fav little spot in ATX by far. Keep it up yall!!

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Love this place! I stopped by after getting my haircut next door. I came in and the girl behind the counter was beaming with a smile. I asked her for recommendations and she recommend this one coffee drink. I don't remember the name but it was amazing! Service was great :)

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Came here with friends for the first time to grab some dessert and now it has become my favorite place ever. I wish I lived a little closer so I could come all the time. The employees are always so friendly, that I don't even realize I'm paying for stuff. They are super nice and will chat with you and let you sample the ice cream until you decide on one too many since they are all so good. I never like Vegan ice cream but they have so many options that there is something for everyone. But they also just have diary ice cream as well and the Liz Lemon ice cream is out of this world! It's delicious beyond words. I love their sprinkles as well! The location is so cute! They have super cute cat things and the menus is so pretty to look at and everything they make is delicious! The menu is rather educational to know what you are getting in your drink! I love it here! I wish I could just live here some times! But seriously everyone should go and try it out! It will change your dessert and coffee life!

Kara M.

Yelp
I was amazed by how awesome the ice cream tasted! Luckily the taste of the ice cream is what made me give this business 4 stars. It made up for the poor customer service given by the male working the day my crew members of mine visited. They have vegan ice cream to choose from as well as ice cream made with dairy products. I got the lemon ice cream, it was delicious!! You could choose from a cake cone, sugar cone, and waffle cone, and of course a cup. Everything had a vegan choice, for all my vegans out there! The flavors were different if it was Vegan, I am sure they were just as tasty! The setup inside the store was so cute, they sold cat shaped cookies and other tasty treats beside ice cream and milkshakes. EVERYONE who stops by in Austin, Texas must visit this place :D!!

Leila R.

Yelp
Discovered this place when attempting to satiate my sweet-tooth. It is absolutely adorable inside and it is fun to see the cute little décor quirks and nuances. They serve quasi-cuban coffee here (of course it is not near the real deal, but it hits the spot) along w/several other caffeinated offerings. But, the showstopper here is the ice cream waffle! A waffle w/a scoop of their delicious ice cream and added toppings (I did bourbon hot fudge and coconut whip cream...OMG!) and you have yourself a dessert worthy of the pricetag. Staff can be a bit hit or miss, with some being a bit prickly and others being engaging with great recs. So, if you are in the area w/sugar hankering, this is the place!

Fatin I.

Yelp
I normally don't write reviews but felt today I had to. The food here is great but wow is the service awful. The lady with the buzz cut is so unbelievably rude. Rude to customers and her fellow employees. She was so rude to her fellow employee (who was doing her best and still had a smile on her face), to the point it made myself and other customers obviously uncomfortable and some even left because of it.. to the sweet girl with the brown hair ponytail(sorry I didn't catch your name)-I hope you find a better job where you are treated with respect and not belittled and micromanaged in your every step. To the lady with the buzz cut- I hope you learn to treat people nicer and with respect because your behavior was so rude, unprofessional and just not ok.

Dara S.

Yelp
Fantastic little place! We're in Austin for the day and I saw it was vegan and organic. My daughter got a delicious donut and I got a hemp milk masala cardamom latte and it's fantastic! Syrups are house made and flavors are spot on. Definitely worth coming to and they do have a parking lot for easier parking than somewhere that has street parking.

Cassie R.

Yelp
We ordered a mocha latte w/coconut milk, americano w/almond milk, coffee cupcake & blueberry lavender scone It was delicious, the inside was very clean, the service was exceptional. Definitely going back

Pauline K.

Yelp
I love this place. Cute character makes this place so adorable. Menu is great and wonderful place to sit. Please visit and try their stuff!!! :)

Emily S.

Yelp
I love their vegan and gluten free baked goods! Everything I've tried is delicious. I'm so glad they exist, as vegan and gluten free treats are hard to find. Parking is easy, and it's a great location.

Shashikala P.

Yelp
I tried cappuccino and drinking chocolate, my husband Cuban espresso and my kiddo hot cocoa. Cappuccino was good nothing special, Husband told Cuban espresso was good and intense. Drinking chocolate is awesome, a must try and hot cocoa was too good, my kiddo loved it.

Lisa O.

Yelp
They sell Coconut Bliss dairy free ice cream and gluten free sugar cones! I wished they sold gluten free waffle cones as well, but I know they're expensive. They have a great selection of unmarked gluten free pastries! All the unmarked pastries on the top shelf are gluten free including the afternoon cowgirl bar and peanut butter cookies.

Priya S.

Yelp
We stopped by this place on our way to drop fam off at the airport. They're not open for dining you actually have to order from their website. I LOVE that it is all Vegan. I got a coffee with ice cream in it which was good for me but I am a coffee person. The others got a coffee float which was sooo yummy more like a dessert drink, better than any Starbucks Frappuccino I've had. Bean and cheese jalapeño empanada and the pesto, tomato, and cheese kolache both were pretty good, they hit the spot. I will def be back!

Mariam P.

Yelp
Going with a solid 4 here. Initially I was on the hunt for vegan donuts! But I think if you are coming for donuts solely, do not come here. This is definitely more of a coffee and ice cream shop with a few donuts (all being vegan, so dairy lovers I would not recommend). I ended up getting a scoop of the vegan chocolate walnut and brownie ice cream. It was really good and creamy! 5/5 For my drink, I got an iced matcha latte with almond milk. This didn't really turn out great but the barista is so nice and kept adding vanilla to sweeten it. If you go for this, get it with coconut milk instead to help make it sweeter and creamier - also ask them to go light on the matcha. Very cute place and I definitely recommend it for dairy and vegan ice cream! So good!

Luis G.

Yelp
This place is so laid back and awesome! Good selection on stuff, oh!! And everything is vegan! I'm not a vegan but I do enjoy vegan options at times. The pastries are so good! I didn't try anything else this time around but I'll def be back soon and try them out ASAP!

Katie G.

Yelp
I'm so happy I found Fat Cats! I had no idea they were vegan. My iced latte with hemp milk was perfection. They have all types of dairy free milks, such as oat, almond, soy, hemp, etc. We tried their raspberry & lemon and peach scones and they were amazing-would never have guessed they were vegan. So many things on the menu to come back for-ice cream, waffles, and other bakery items! Make sure to check it out!

Hilary G.

Yelp
I ordered online for pickup on a Monday morning. I tried a bit of several things: croissant, almond croissant, chocolate croissant, Buffalo Chicken Kolache, Sausage and Cheeze Kolache, Breakfast Croissant, and Maple Pecan Scone. I also got a Cubano with two shots and a large coffee. The order and pickup process was easy, and everything was still warm by the time I got it home. How did everything taste? Coffee was good, Cubano was too sweet for me, boyfriend had the Buffalo Chicken and said it was okay, Sausage and Cheeze Kolache and Breakfast Croissant seemed to be the hits for both of us (both very good), the scone was a bit dry and couldn't taste the pecan much, and the croissants all tasted great. My boyfriend didn't even care it was vegan with how good some of these things were (always a plus). Will definitely go back for the foods I liked and coffee.

vale a.

Yelp
Super delicious treats and coffee. Extremely nice staff and clean place. For my neurodivergent folks, soft music and dim lighting (obviously normal coffee shop sounds as well)

Charles Y.

Yelp
Well after trying a cafe cubano at several coffee places, Fat Cats has my nod as my favorite. This was the first coffee place I tried a cubano at, thought it was good but really didn't come to appreciate how good until ordering it at several other places and finding it just didn't compare. The flavor is smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. Fats cats also has ice cream, waffles, donuts and cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth craving. The Mexican chocolate donut is one of my favorites. If you like Mexican chocolate with a hint of spicy, this is for you. They also have great teas. Seating is fairly limited, but I've never had an issue getting a table. Parking is plentiful which is always nice. It always appears to be clean inside. Fat cats is definitely in my rotation of coffee shops.

Omar Z.

Yelp
Great breakfast pastries and waffles. Everything tasted really great especially the cat sugar cookies. Ahh the coffee was amazing and I was able to taste their cold brew although I did not purchase it. The shop is so nice and the setup and decor is very cute. It was not crowded and easy to find parking up front. It will definitely be a go to place for me when in Austin and needing some caffeine not to mention yummy cookies. I only wish they opened a little earlier in the morning but hey i don't mind waiting for them to open... By the way the staff is really nice and welcoming. They love cats! Can't you tell.

Jamie W.

Yelp
Super cute spot, and I appreciate all the vegan options! Came here weekday afternoon, and ordered the Tulsi Mango Peach tea and chocolate donut. The tea was great to warm up with and had a subtle flavor. Their tea menu is huge, and offer caffeine and naturally caffeine-free choices. And the chocolate donut was yummy, fluffy, and not overly sweet. Service was friendly and quick. The cafe is smaller, but feels roomy and open on the inside. The WiFi was reliable, but I only saw outlets by the counter chairs towards the back. The only downside is the 2-hour limit for parking, so I wouldn't recommend Fat Cats if you want to work for several hours. It's a shared parking lot so spots can be limited. Despite the less than ideal remote working environment, I would definitely would come back again.

Anita L.

Yelp
I was in town on a business trip and probably spent several hours a day in Fat Cats to hold meetings. The staff here was super friendly and was fine with me squatting without always having to purchase something. However, they do have really good drinks on the menu. I especially liked their mango peach iced tea. They also have a long list of regular teas that they can make iced if you prefer it that way. In addition to the teas and coffees typical of a coffeehouse, they also have an ice cream bar which definitely comes in handy in the Austin heat :)
