What a neighborhood treasure.Went there for lunch and it was so much more than hamburgers. We had calamari (Definitely in in the top 5 I’ve ever had) Grouper and Red Snapper.Fresh as can be. Generous portion with an excellent lemon garlic butter sauce.Really good.Service good.Small place with sports bar vibe.Pricing inexpensive and may I say impressive. This place really tries and it shows.Street parking.Outdoor patio. Will try again soon weather permitting. AWARDED 2 YUMS ON A SCALE OF 3

Wow!!!! The food and service were impeccable for a small restaurant/bar I’m not local, but I’m a fan. Low key, and very reasonable. If you’re looking for a quick in and out, while not sacrificing quality, this is the spot!!

We came here around 10:30 on a Saturday night. We were warmly greeted by a man who seemed to be a manager or owner, and immediately brought menus. We hadn't really intended to eat but I'm glad we did. The proscuitto burger (with added egg) and the cavatelli with Italian sausage were both excellent. The vodka sauce on the pasta was perfection. Prices were fair, service was good, and ambiance was very lively.

This wasn’t the best place for food but the people and the service was nice. The food was disappointing. We came early and were the only ones there so I’m not sure what happened in the kitchen. There was an unpleasant smell to the dish that was not normal.

Dined in the patio was comfortable till a couple of locals sat 6 ft away started dropping f bombs and smoking nonstop. The fresh oysters were like skin tags and there was a piece of hair in my food.

Food was average. Burger was a decent size for the price. The toppings were underwhelming. Onion came simply sliced and raw. Presentation was "meh". I ordered a custom burger with cheddar and an egg on top. It was supposed to come with a pretzel bun but instead came with a plain regular bun. Disappointed. Maybe they were out of pretzel buns? Friend ordered a chicken parm sandwich. Was definitely on the small side. He said he didn't feel as full and wished it was a bit bigger considering the price. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Beer selection was just domestic bottles. No IPAs when we went. A let down, but with the ongoing pandemic, it is expected. Food selection was okay. Mostly geared towards seafood with a few burgers and sandwiches thrown in the complete the lineup. However the music they put on drowned out most of the conversations with my friend. They did eventually turn it down a bit but there there was the random repeat of whine over the speakers that usually accompanies a jack plug not fully inserted or rubbing against another statically object. We were initially the only ones at the restaurant when we came in around 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon. Place is very dark which I guess is the mood they want to go for. Place started filling up when we were leaving around 4:30 PM. I probably would not return considering there are better choices in the area.

Formerly Rocky’s, and it still is the best bar & restaurant close to the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT / Illinois Tech). Great stuff. Staff are SUPER friendly, crowd is really quite fun and nice, and the food and drink is excellent. Regina and Gary are very kind and make sure that you have everything you can want at the bar! Also, Vodka-sauce tortellini was AMAZING. Like, the best Vodka-tomato pasta sauce I’ve had in my life. Also a beautiful outdoor dining patio for food and drink during the spring and summer!!

Come for work socials food is tasty and service is great. They have an outside area with jumbo Jenga in warm days. Great place to make random connections. Apparently a happening spot for teachers. I recommend and will def return.
