Fat Sal's Deli

I did a door dash order so I can’t speak for the layout of the store! I was staying at a hotel nearby so the food was very warm when I revived it. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with seasoned fry’s and their sauce. That sandwich was HELLLA good. I’ve had a lot of Philly cheesesteak sandwich’s before but unlike this one never. The taste was un real. It didn’t look like much but the taste was there. I got the seasoned fry’s rather than the normal fry’s. I wasn’t a big fan of the seasoning used. The sauce was really good though.

Location is the main draw to this joint, but the food is also quite good. The sandwiches are big, and they need to be as they're expensive. Service is casual with staff working at their own pace, taking their time to make and deliver sandwiches. The fries could be better, and there are plenty of sandwiches on the menu. The Philly cheesesteak is delicious and not greasy, as it tends to be in similar sub shops. A table outside is the ideal location for people watching.

This place is so good. Brian and Ava (Eva?) welcome you and explain the menu and give you suggestions that are very informative. The food is prepared with care and very tasty. The loaded fries is a meal alone and was sooooooo good. The very thin sliced lettuce on top makes this very special. Awesome service and awesome food!

Food and atmosphere was great! A little pricey, $50 for 2 sandwiches and a shake, but it hit just the right spot! I got the Fat Texas and Fat Buffalo along with #5s cheesecake shake. It was a little messy but sooo good.

It was very disappointing. Why? Small ass sandwiches that cost too much money and don't taste that great. Go to the Whaler instead. Fat Sal's restaurant name is definitely a misnomer. The dining room is designed for watching sports on TV and that's about it

Excellent subs freshly prepared. I had the Italiano and it was tasty and full of meat. This is a small chain and now I'll try the other locations and varieties.

As soon as I walked in I felt at home, they had the bomb playlist and also had amazing customer service as well I had a great conversation with Donald I recommend this place to anybody. They need to open more locations and I hope they make it to the Midwest as well real soon!!!!!✨♾️💪🏾😎 Ordered the Fat Jerry and Philly cheesesteak fries and both were delicious. Highly recommended!
