New York-Based the Fat Radish Expands to Savannah, Georgia | Eater Carolinas

"Plans are underway to open a second Fat Radish restaurant in Savannah this summer at 36 MLK Jr. Blvd., inside the Windrose Apartment Hotel. The project pairs the managing partners of Charleston’s Basic Kitchen with the New York City–based Fat Radish team — partners Natalie Freihon and Phil Wisner, executive chef Nick Wilber, and director of operations Michelle Watanabe — while former Fat Radish partner Ben Towill and his wife Kate (who opened Basic Kitchen in Charleston and run Basic Projects) are behind the boutique hotel's design and development. As Freihon put it, "Savannah has this wonderful, eclectic energy that we find super inspiring," and the team says they have come to love the hospitality community there and "could not be more excited to open our doors this summer." - Erin Perkins

Love this place, I had a great birthday fire starter. The 190 Octane Rocket Fuel, and added a shot of Apple Crown and Patron each. Yeah, it was chilly out, but the fuel didn't let me down.

Beware of the extra shot. The guy asked me what liquor I wanted to add to my slushy. I asked if it was included. He said, yes. Well, it wasn’t. I swear the screen said $12 when I paid - which is the price of the drink. So with tip it should have been $14. When I checked my charges later it was $24. That’s one drink! Went back later and asked a different employee. She said the shots are extra $5-7. Won’t go back.

Omg!! I am so glad they have a Fat Tuesday here in Savannah, Ga! They have more options than the others daiquiri spots!!! I mean top shelf liquor 😊😊🤗🤗😋😋😋! The staff is amazing as well!! General Manager Amy greeted us as I walked in and was very helpful and welcoming!! I can’t recall the other young lady at the counter as well!! Very nice!! Daiquiri’s are awesome and not water down!!!! This is awesome! Bring some flavor to Savannah’s 10 ⭐️ ‘s!!! To the staff thank you so much for great customer service and delicious daiquiri with my shot of PATRON!!!!! 😋😋😋🤗🤗

Even if it's cold outside, you must get a frozen drink to slurp! Great mixed concoctions, but strong! Fun experience and way to tour the town and sightsee. Reasonably priced for the amount, recommend samples to figure out what you like first!

I love the mix options! It was a beautiful day to sit by the river with some drinks from Fat Tuesday. Very reasonably priced and the option to make your drink a bit stronger was nice. So good we went back for seconds.

This location never disappoints! You can expect to get litty off of one good drink. My Go to is a slushee with a shot or jack & coke. The ladies that work there are so dope!
