Could not pick a better place to during my first time visit of Paris! Everything and everyone was great. The hotel was clean, Cosy, comfortable and all the staff were outstanding. We have loved that we could have breakfast every day at our hotel room without any additional charge. The location was also fantastic and very practical (you're close to the shops and Louvre). We are very thankful for the time we got to spend at Fauchon hotel ❤️

Bonsoir Paris 🇫🇷 My sunset hour at Le Grand Café Fauchon was a perfect moment of Parisian epicurean pleasure. Nestled within the luxurious FAUCHON L’Hôtel Paris, I discovered a dining experience crafted by Maison Fauchon, a name synonymous with world-famous taste since 1886. As the sun began to set, casting a beautiful glow, I savoured the exquisite dishes, a testament to Maison Fauchon’s commitment to using the finest produce.

Amazing restaurant in the city center of Paris facing the Madeleine Church. The service, friendly staff, delicious dishes. Just perfect!

Best value high end tea at 7 euro in Paris. Real leaf tea (for my Darjeeling) and a macron with exquisite desserts. Service is absolutely top notch for this 5 star hotel cafe.

Google
A Must-Have Experience in Paris It’s definitely worth the experience. Fauchon is a place that delivers on elegance and flavor, it’s the kind of place you should try at least once while in Paris. The location is perfect, right in front of La Madeleine. We went for a aperitif tasting , starting with a glass of excellent champagne, foie gras, some specialties, and freshly made macarons. Everything was top quality. The service was also wonderful. The view was beautiful, and something rare in Paris: there’s a parking spot right in front, very convenient. Elegant, delicious, and memorable. Would go back for a special treat.

Overpriced for the atmosphere. Expected a nicer decoration. The floor is not pretty. And decoration not too beautiful.

I purchased a beautiful pink Fauchon apron. I am visiting from Dallas, Texas and will wear it fondly. Visiting Paris 30 years after my first chocolate decadence at this happy place is again wonderful!

The best service and breakfast you can have by far. This place is a hidden gem that worth a try. Maya was our service and she did an amazing job. Very fast and intelligent. Please take care of her. The all team is great and recognize their clients well. The food is super fresh clean. Recommended to try their breakfast!

Yelp
My first memories of Fauchon weren't of the shop with all the lovely pastries, but of the insane gift baskets my dad would receive from either his employer or colleagues around the holidays in the 90s. I wanted nothing to do with the jars of foie gras or champagne, but I used one of the trunks to store craft supplies. 25+ years later and it still stores craft supplies. So, of course on my last trip back to Paris I had to finally stop back in as an adult who can appreciate things that little kid me would have just said "oh, neat" about. Spoiler alert: I still don't want anything to do with foie gras or champagne. This visit coincided with a belated birthday adventure after having a mini meltdown about getting old and missing home. Fauchon is the quintessential picture of Parisian chic. The store is elegantly simple, with clean lines and bold color. The cases have a huge variety of pastries and indulgent treats. And what they have to offer is so beautiful and so meticulous that you start to wonder how the tart or éclair that caught your eye isn't unaffordable. Yes, it's pricy for pastries in France when you consider Carrefour sells éclairs for like one Euro (and that cheap ass éclair is somehow better than 99% of éclairs in the US). When you compare it to the "gourmet" pastry scene in the US the prices aren't insane though. Would I make this my regular stop for pastries? No, but for special occasions or if you're visiting and want a beautiful experience this is absolutely worth the small indulgence. We selected an éclair with some bold graphics printed on it, two different macarons, a lemon tart (tarte aux citron), a chocolate moussey cakey piece of art, a slice of pâté en croûte, and some hot teas. Because of the artistic elements it was a less traditional texture for the éclair but the flavor was delicate and pleasant. The macarons were perfect, which I'm sure they always will be, and it's probably one of the reasons they do well as an edible souvenir. P.S. Americans, do NOT call them macaroons, those are completely different. The tart was the right amount of sour and sweet with great texture. I opted out of the chocolate and the pâté but included them in the photos so you can be jealous. The commentary on those can be summarized with, "OMG amazing." Oh, Paris, tu me manques. Je dois retourner tout de suite!

Yelp
Wow Fauchon is not playing around with their desserts! Oh my gosh, the pastries are delightfully decadent and tasty. We got there towards the end of the day so they didn't have very many options left but what we tried we really enjoyed. The café itself is beautiful inside. They also have a selection of cocktails and wines that we tried as well. The drinks also did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful. This place came highly recommended as one of the patisseries to try in while Paris, and we are here to sign off on that recommendation.

Yelp
A chic and hip boutique hotel situated in the 8th ar. not far from L'opera and close to Madeleine metro stop. We stayed two nights in spring in a spendy junior suite on the 5th floor. Similar to a Virgin Hotel or Kimpton, the rooms feature a bright and cheery color scheme with pink as the signature color. The outstanding Guest Relations Manager, Selima Babadji made us feel right at home when we arrived midday from the train from Normandy. We were seated in the small library right off the lobby and served champagne and small bites while she processed our passports and secured our bags (the room wasn't available until 2). Our high-ceilinged room had a modern, sleek bathroom and plenty of space to spread out. Our windows opened on to the boulevard but were totally soundproof when we wanted to shut out the hustle and the bustle. Several items in the mini bar were included in the nightly room rate including some tasty cookies and even a bottle of house bubbly. The location was a great base for us and the comfort of the room outstanding. We spent our two short days strolling the nearby gardens and revisiting favorite sites. If you are looking for a splurge, this is a great spot to chill.

Yelp
This place is perfect for grab and go gifts to take back home! Dessert paradise, sweet tooth's beware! I was luckily enough to try some of their delicious macarons. One of my coworkers just came back from a recent customer visit in France and came back with a box of assorted macarons for me to try! Not only did the cookies survive the carry on trip back home, but they were delicious, flakey and not too sweet! They have a variety of flavors to pick from. Some even had sesame seeds on the outside! From what I could tell, I think I tried an espresso, pistachio, berry (with fruit filling), coconut and a few other delicious flavors I couldn't quite identify. I cannot wait to visit the actual store during my next trip to Paris. They do have a few locations, but this location seems to be the most popular

Yelp
So much goodness, but it definitely paying a premium.. The macaroons are def worthy it.. the also features jams, jellies, cheeses, champagne, chocolates and all the other little goodies you can think of when you romanticize Paris in your musings. Everything I tried was amazing.. so you can't go wrong. This is definitely a place you go to and grab gifts for fam and friends back home.

Yelp
This is for the Fauchon at Gare du Nord, but I assume the donut is the same! Pros: -Lots of delicious looking desserts Cons: -Donuts -- Chocolate Donut (1.6 euro) Yeast donut with nutella-looking icing. The dough was really soft and tasted slightly buttery but was fairly bland and flavorless. It tasted like bread with a thin layer of nutella, but even the chocolate icing lacked flavor. Get something else!

Yelp
Okay, but first Fauchon ... Paris is the city of love ... and Paris is the city of Fauchon. It's always a good time for Fauchon love; however, the morning is the best time to say bonjour to amour viennoiseries. Yelp
I've been wanting to come here a really long time so I had really high, maybe overly high expectations. Those expectations were surprisingly met. The cafe itself, was pretty low key. A nice selection of pastries, breads, and food. The store next (next) door had all the incredible sweets that I devoured when I visited their Tokyo location. It did seem higher end in Tokyo but I feel that way about most companies that bring their goods to Tokyo. It is a great shop to buy gifts and has much more than their airport location.

Yelp
The time I spent in Paris, five weeks in all, was made vastly more spectacular due to the Fauchon located very close to the apartment I lived in for a month. Tiny little morsels of delights and all kinds of cheese and lovely fruit and bread...it was more than I could bare on most days..but I managed to get through. I still think of that place and dream of the rows and rows of baked goods and sweet treats. Nothing like it anywhere else.

Yelp
I have never been a fan of macarons until my first trip to Paris! We walked by this shop on a whim and couldn't help but to stop inside for something sweet. The shop is beautifully decorated and dessert displays were really attractive. After having lunch nearby we were full but wanted something sweet to nibble on so a delicate tiny macaron was perfect. My daughter picked the coconut flavor which to me looked the least attractive as it was a plain ivory color BUT to my surprise it was amazing! You can actually taste the little bits of coconut! From that first bite I was hooked. Thankfully they had a booth at the airport and I picked up a tin box to enjoy back home. It was such a fun activity sampling all the different flavors with my kids. They aren't labelled but we were able to guess the different flavors. My favorites were probably the mango, rose, kiwi and even the strawberry one had seeds in it! Super fresh, high quality ingredients that you can taste! I am now a fan. Anyone know where I can get good macarons in San Diego?!?!

Yelp
Hrm, I think Fauchon turns me on more than any man ever has. Sorry, not sorry Johnny ^__^ Simply marvel at the divine scenery--this place is a female foodie's materialized wet dream! I dropped by to purchase some beautifully packaged treats. This 'grocery store' is the ideal spot to grab high-quality, gourmet gifts for foodie friends. A recommended pitstop! Next time, I'd like to try the pastries. Caution: When you visit, you may want to break the bank!

Yelp
Forgive me for my ignorance, but I had absolutely no clue what a macaron was until my trip to Paris some few years ago. While on vacation, I kept hearing about Fauchon, and how it just happens to be a short walk around the corner from our hotel and it's a must visit before our trip back to London..I am so happy that we went. Once inside this modern dessert/gourmet food store, you're instantly faced with an impressive array of desserts as well as an assortment of gourmet food choices. While my travel mates were perusing the store and admiring all of the displayed decadence, I went off on my own and decided to purchase three macarons; caramel, pistachio and citrus. The pretty Parisienne chick behind the counter and the handsome man at the register were both friendly and very helpful, as everyone else I encountered, asked for directions from, and met along the way in Paris. I'm just saying, as I heard a lot of negativity stateside about France and there rudeness towards Americans. As I've always said, you treat people how you want to be treated...kind. I digress. So, I had no idea what these jeweled cookies were, but they looked so appealing in their neatly displayed rows of rainbow colors that my curiosity got the best of me and I had to try one or two. My first bite of the citrus was crisp yet moist, tender, flavorful and tart all at the same time. I have never experienced anything like it!! That one bite was all it took and I was hooked!! I ended up easily spending over €40 just on macarons to travel back with. Once I finally got stateside, one of the first things I did was to search for locations that sold macarons in NYC. I was unhappy to find that Fauchon no longer existed in NYC and yet happy to find several establishments, of which Ladurée was one, that sold these delectable Parisienne treats. In most of the establishments throughout the tri-state these little morsels are quite expensive at $2.50 and up for one but are comparable in cost after you do the Euro/USD conversion. I have found that not all stores have the perfect macaron like I experienced at Fauchon, but if you're in Paris and are going to try this delectable cookie, I do propose you splurge at least once for this macaron experience...It will be well worth it!

Yelp
I love fauchon so much that I went there twice during my trip in paris. This place is like a food paradise, everything is pink and girly. But they are not all about just packaging, their food/pastries/tea etc are all top notch! We tried the eclaire and this other pastry I dont remember the name.. The amount of time and effort they put into making these are astounding. The eclaire is perfectly cool inside and outside tasted so fresh! We also tried some premade sandwiches for our quick lunch and they were all very delicious and fresh! I also picked up some stuff from the gift store, i got a rose and litchi tea, glazed chestnut set, fruit preserves and milk jam and a mushroom truffle spread. I didnt want to buy too much as I thought they are probably just pretty to look at but probably wont taste anything special, boy was I wrong!! The tea has such a fragrant rose flavor and the fruit preserves (especially the milk jam) taste so delicate!! I am really kicking myself for not bringing more of these home. If you are in paris please make sure to check fauchon out. It is really easy to find and you wont be disappointed!!

Yelp
Fauchon alone is the reason why I want to go back to Paris, their desserts are phenomenal! None of these fake glamour cupcakes crap you see in the states. You want classy desserts, you come here for their amazing tarts and macarons, They are so gourmet and so pretty, you don't want to eat them. We came here for lunch and of course, I ended up ordering a few more boxes of macarons (because ordering 8 boxes of macarons weren't enough). The service is wonderful and even though this place is small, the food is still very gourmet and very elegant. I really enjoyed Paris because of this place. The next time I'm here, I'll make sure to stop in this place more than once.

Yelp
This place was like heaven for my sweet tooth! I loved it and wish they had one here (or maybe not, as it wouldn't be great for my waistline).

Yelp
While in Paris on our honeymoon we decided to track down the best tasting macarons. I do believe Fauchon was at the top of our list. Such a delicate and tasty treat.....it was hard to say which flavor was my favorite! I think it's a tie between the caramel and pistachio. Fauchon's pricing is slightly higher than competitors however worth every penny. The store is great to browse as well.

Yelp
Ah, you flamboyant fabulous Paris institution, you, how I do love you. The hot pink and black signage is so sexy, and the pastries are orgasmic. Want to eat beauty? Eat here. The long lines of various pastry are arranged so artfully, interspersed with beautiful displays of teas, jams, and other treats, it made me want to break my diet and my credit card. I indulged in a chocolate croissant on my birthday, which was such a treat. A small selection of macrons were indulged in as well, and while I wanted to buy ALL THE FOIE, I left with a small, travel-friendly jar of strawberry rose jam to enjoy upon return to the States. We also toured the upstairs, which is the wine and savories, with elite wines lining the walls, and huge deli displays of beautiful, artful sandwiches and to-go meals, the most visually beautiful food ever. It's like edible art, and has the price tag appropriate to its level of quality and display. I wish we had anything like this in America, I'd be there more frequently than my budget would support, for SURE.

Yelp
Having my favorite apple tea (THE BEST!!!) and my favorite Mont Blanc (cake made with creme de marron, meringue francais, & sable Breton. C'est si bon!!!) at the original Fauchon store's "Salon de The" was a dream come true! Fauchon's famous apple tea is admired by many Japanese people including myself, and I believe it was the apple tea that brought Fauchon a huge success in Japan. Fauchon is the epitome of decadent luxury gourmet shop you can possibly imagine.Everything is so exquisite, their haute cuisine is a beautiful marriage of art and food. Adorned in tasteful pink and black signature colors, you will get bedazzled by the super pretty gourmet food display the moment you step into the store. Fauchon speaks pure luxury. It's like a foodies' fantasy museum! Their innovative pastries are all gorgeously embellished with pretty colors and sometimes even in metallics, making you feel bad to eat them (just momentarily.). Talk about viewing pleasure!!! As you might have already guessed, it's expensive. I mean, tres tres expensive. If you are having just a pot of apple tea and a cake, you probably end up paying 20 euros. And if you want to eat a proper lunch, expect to pay at least 50 euros. I'd say splurge it, how often are you in Paris anyways??

Yelp
Food heaven might look like this place. Had lunch here with my wife's family and everything was fantastic. I went with the the lamb which was super tender and great til the last bite. I also couldn't help myself and had to try a bit of everyone else's dish with the foie gras being my favorite of the group. Bought a ton of dessert and chocolate downstairs afterwards and definitely didn't spend as much time as I hoped. I really want to check out the wine area next time.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful tea shop for the tea connoisseur! I spent hours there just looking at their jams and their assortment of teas. This is truly a tea lovers paradise!!!!

Yelp
Fauchon is my reliable go-to whenever I'm in Paris. People may complain that its pricey and the portions are small, but I really enjoy the selection they have for breakfast and lunch. This place is a convenient one stop shop with indoor and outdoor seating. The decor and adorable packaging really makes it, and it helps that the staff are friendly and relatively conversant in English. Solid assortment of pastries for breakfast and dessert, but these aren't that great. The real reason to come here is for the selection of Foie Gras in the delicatessen and the small savory dishes. I highly recommend the Quiche here (favorite: Asparagus Quiche) which they heat up for you. Don't skip the assortment of pates, terrines, the Truffled Beef with Vegetables (costs around $40 USD), Salmon Tartare Platter, and Shrimp Cocktail. End the meal with Fauchon's macarons. This is only a short walking distance from the luxury boutiques in the Rue Saint Honore neighborhood, so if you're shopping in the area, this is the perfect place to stop by to refuel
google avatar

Lily Z.

Yelp
I like Fauchon. Why? It is the French brand for chocolates and pastries. However, I think its competitors are doing better. For macarons, go to Pierre Herme, Laudree or Sadaharu Aoki. For pastries, try Gerard Mulot, Un dimanche a Paris. For chocolate, try La maison du chocolat. For tea time, try Un dimanche a Paris, Laduree, etc. This a solid place for French pastries, but that's it.

Yelp
All I have to say is LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! One of the city's most famous food shop and they have the most beautiful packaged gift items!
google avatar

Yelp
The most amazing AND beautiful cake I have ever tried in my life! And I am a cake fanatic! First it looked liked absolute perfection, second the taste was so light and airy. Not too heavy at all! And the strawberry filling inside was made of REAL fresh strawberries. Why don't we have this in the U.S?!?!?
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
I don't know which place came first; the Fauchon with the salmon and cheese, or the Fauchon with the chocolate and coffee, (The two are just kitty-corner from one another) but they are clearly close cousins. Particular noteworthy was an assortment of wrapped chocolates - perhaps 18" x 18" - that was on sale for a mere 530€ ! Smelling the various coffees was a religious experience! We thought about pooling our funds to buy a single chocolate to split three ways, mais non! The minimum number is 10 chocolates. We can not sell you just one. I suspect most people foolish enough to ask for such a thing immediately feel ashamed and pony up to ten bon bons! We did not succumb. I bet it would have been a great bon bon, but we held our ground with a firm, but polite, au revoir. Crazy Americans! Five stars for decadence. Three stars for "HOW much do you want for that?" Final = 4 stars!
google avatar

Yelp
I never would have come here had Chloe Coscarelli not mentioned that it's one of her favorite places in Paris for the secretly vegan chocolate orange bread. A stone's throw from our hotel, we came almost every morning for breakfast. My husband would have a croissant, I'd have the chocolate orange bread, and we'd both start the day on a happy foot. They have a coffee bar but no non-dairy milk options. I had espresso a few times and it was very nice! I'm not an espresso drinker at all but it was very smooth. On occasion, I'd splurge on the bottled almondmilk with coffee in the cold case, but that was 8 euros, eek! On the last day, I bought a baguette to stick in my carry on for the trip home. It was gone before we took off, it was SO good. Perfectly crusty and soft on the inside, even hours later. While certainly not a vegan haven, there are some secret treats and the bread is truly divine. It's worth popping in if you're passing by!

Yelp
I'm not sure about all the hype but to me it felt like The Flamingo in Vegas, where I was once forced to stay int he "renovated" rooms. Lots of stripper-pink tones and white marble. My GF ordered a Napoleon and I ordered some chocolates. The staff was friendly despite my not being American or speaking more than three words in French.

Yelp
LOCATION I did not favor the location. As a tourist to Paris, it seemed a bit out of the way from other attractions. However, I am happy I made the hike. DECOR Beautiful displays! Just the feel of being in the shop gives you a bit of nostalgia. The desserts are absolutely gorgeous. Definitely a plethora a great gift options. SERVICE The service was average. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Because there are soooo many things to choose from here, I kind of wish there was someone who would kind of walk you through what is good, what's popular, and what is not so great. You kind of have to hope for the best, which is nerve wrecking because this place is not cheap. DESSERT I ordered a set of macaroons and a bunch of eclairs. I would say that the macaroons were very very delicious but a little too sweet for me. Then again, I am not one with a huge sweet tooth. Great when paired with a cup of tea which you can also order there. My favorite macaroon flavors were: Pistachio, Lemon (Citron), and Raspberry (Framboise). The Chocolate was pretty decent as well. I did not really take to the eclairs. They wee a little bit disappointing. They weren't bad, just not as good as I expected them to be. And because they are so pricey, they were definitely not worth the cost. The raspberry (framoise) eclair was pretty good. I only tried one pastry, Millefeuille Vanille. It was very delicious. But, again, I expected more from such a well known dessert shop.

Yelp
Fauchon. The name is so famous that one almost wonders whether yet another review isn't superfluous. I've been in a Fauchon-withdrawal since their shop in New York closed a few years back, so I couldn't pass up an opportunity to revisit the shop at Place de la Madeleine during a recent trip to Paris. The pastries were still good, I confess. But the crush of so many customers, many of them quite ill-mannered, vying for the attention of the clerks at the carryout desk left a bad taste. There are plenty of other pastry shops throughout Paris with equally tasty fare but without the mobs. I'll certainly go back to Fauchon, but not on the weekend during high tourist season.
google avatar

Darren C.

Yelp
Something one should do once while in Paris. Expensive, but the desserts were good. Had a chocolate eclair. Beautiful, but only okay tasting. The macaroons were really good (you pay for it). The only reason I'm giving them a 3 is due to the cost.
google avatar

Anita G.

Yelp
Amazing! This is my 4th time in Paris. And I wish I've know this place before! The service is great (which is rare for Europe) and the food tastes as good as it looks. With so many tourist traps in this city it's hard to eat well. Their salmon and veggie quiche was the best I've ever had in my life, so light and yummy! The chocolate eclair we had was delicious too and we tired some clove bread crumbs there which were like an explosion of flavors in our mouths! Will go back there again tonight! :)

Min C.

Yelp
The BEST eclairs I have ever had! Most eclairs suffer from the pastry part being dry, I guess because it is pretty thin. Not the case here! The dough has a bit of moisture and it's the right thickness. The vanilla one is delicious and the pistachio is such a treat. It's a very interesting combo of sweet and salty! I need to come back and try their other pastries :D
google avatar

Colette Y.

Yelp
This place is so delicious and all the pastries are mouth watering! I tried the macaroons (which are to die for) and the chocolate eclair (which tasted even better)! I loved the design and everything was super cute. The pastries were all gorgeous and I wish I could have tried everything on the menu!
google avatar

Kim l.

Yelp
In search for the best pistachio macaron, I stopped by Fauchon to try theirs. At 1,80 a pop, the macaron was pretty good. The outside crust was a little chewy and flaky. The pistachio filling was a little sweet. Good texture, but not the best that I have tried.

Yelp
Sleek decor, trendy packaging, food products that scream "rich and luxurious"--all to incite excitement in the consumer. They have succeeded. My group fell victim to the chocolate-buying frenzy that occurs when setting foot in here. My five stars goes to the sugar and carb goodies that powered me through my morning: -- Framboise Madeline: a sizeable, pink seashell-shaped pastry that was FILLED with raspberry jam! I've never had a filled madeline before. Made me wish I'd picked up some other flavors. Next time! -- Almond croissant: *moans* almond paste.... -- Mini plain croissant: probably *the* best, most buttery, most flavorful croissant I've had in America or France. €5 This location is the bakery, where you can opt to have a sit-down meal. A few doors down is the grocery store where you can pick up macarons, jams, foie gras and more chocolates for the gourmand on your list.
google avatar

Katelyn T.

Yelp
I've had many macarons in Paris, even the famed, rather over priced Laduree, but Fauchon truly takes the cake. I had the strawberry yuzu, vanilla, and passion fruit chocolate flavored macarons, and the flavor wss nothing short of INTENSE. I bit into the strawberry yuzu and it was expertly crafted, with strawberry making the base flavor and the yuzu weaving out. It was probably my favorite one! The vanilla had real vanilla beans in it, and the passionfruit chocolate was quite tangy. Overall, the to-go place in Paris for macarons. Yum!!!!

Yelp
I tell you what: if you like food this is where your dreams come true. Last time I was in Paris we stayed at the Madeleine Plaza Hotel which is situated right across from, you guessed it, The Madeleine--which is an amazing historical neo-classical church. Also surrounding the Madeleine are two amazing "grocery stores": Fauchon and Hediard. Anyway, Fauchon is a wonderful collection of pretty much any type of gourmet food you could desire. From sweet, to savory to wine they have it. The glitz and glamor of this place is simply astounding. I would compare it to Dean & Deluca, but it really puts DD to shame. One of my favorite things to do in Paris is live it up eating out at night and then snack during the day. My last stop into Fauchon we purchased some pate de foie gras, a killer bottle of bordeaux and some assorted mini pastries and headed over to a park for lunch. We picked up some bread from a street vendor and spread the pate on to the bread and sipped the wine for an amazing lunch. These are those times when you truly feel alive. Granted, there are a lot of things in Fauchon that are extremely expensive, but if you like pate you can get amazing pate here. It's interesting, the few times I've been here it's been filled mostly with crowds of japanese tourists and americans with fanny packs, but I wouldn't really call this a tourist destination--it's not geared for that at all. If you're visiting paris or going to the Madeleine or you're staying near the 8th arrondissement I wouldn't pass this place up. Even if you don't buy anything it's worth a look around. This is also one of my favorite neighborhoods to stay in, with a metro right around the corner and insanely awesome shopping (both expensive and normal) close by.

Yelp
The pastries were out of this world! Beautiful and sooooo good! The eclair was so good that we swore we would never eat another one ever again. Super expensive prices. We balked at 20 euros for a pot of tea. One star off for a stiff, unfriendly typical Parisian service. So, bottom line: pastries are worth eating once or twice in your life good, but probably not to be repeated again.

Yelp
Great customer service and delicious foods. You cannot go wrong. Ask the girls in the back about their favorites for excellent recommendations.

Yelp
Exquisite pastries and sweets. They also sell authentic pâtés and terrines which you can get with a crusty baguette for a satisfying picnic. Quintessentially Parisian.

Yelp
This is an absolute fun food store. They have so many things to offer. You can find freshly-baked and amazingly beautifully-decorated French pastries. You can find shelves and aisles of so many yummy gourmet goodness. This is definitely one of the places that you can find something for everyone.

Yelp
TERRIBLE. My friends birthday was on Feb 20th, so I decided to order some items to be delivered SPECIFICALLY on the 2Oth in Germany. So to be sure, I ordered days earlier to be sure even though there are several companies that even deliver next day. Anyway, the 20th arrived on Saturday and nothing arrived, no delivery attempt, nothing. I called the telephone number whereby it was closed. So I emailed Saturday 3x, no response, then Sunday, no response, then Monday, no response, well, not until I called the telephone number at 4pm. And even then, I spoke with someone who transferred the message. Then 5 minutes later I get a message my order is being processed. Which got a reply from me stating the obvious....and then she sends me a highly disorientated response to another complaint, but was obviously for another unhappy customer being it said, I responded on 12/21/2020. I was like what?? This lady is super unorganized, and I feel bad for that person if they are still discussing things from 2020, but it shows how unorganised this person is. Then I called the telephone to tell them this person handling orders is messing all orders up whereby the lady said she will transfer the message, but at this point I was frustrated and said this lady screwed up this special occassion which she did. So then after this call, 5 min. later I get an email sorry, the order is being processed and then blames customs procedures...So not only was the order not delivered, but it hasn't even left yet. She then blamed customs ...LOL..nothing worse than a person who can't except admitting they screwed up. Funny part is France and Germany are EU, so in reality there is no customs.....I guess she was thinking the package was going to the UK or USA? So with this FAUCHON gets 0 stars....Customers, if you order for a special occassion, this is definitely not the company to use....VERY ANNOYING, DISAPPOINTING, and a complete waste of time.

Yelp
This was a fun unexpected bakery with deli items across the street from the regular Fauchon store. Everything looks really yummy! I grabbed a sandwich and a bakery item to go. There is seating on site, however, it is cramped and crowded. They also make coffee drinks near the seating.

Yelp
Everything looks so good. It is quite pricey. What impressed me the most is the style. We ordered just two cups of coffee and two croissants. They set up the coffee and croissants on the tray neatly with golden plastic spoons and all. That's value added. I was there in 2009.

Yelp
IMO the best Macarons are here. Look no further. Compared to Laudree & Pierre Herme these are still my favorite.

Yelp
God bless my bestie Tina who is an avid Yelper for the recommendation to this uber sexy bakery. I am giving it two stars because the service was horrible. Worse than most French establishments actually. The food was good, fresh and well executed. We each had salads for 25€. Neither weighed more than 300 grams dressing included. Small portions well groomed food. It's times like this that I realize how lucky we are in the states. I don't recommend the spot to anyone who knows me. If you're walking by and eager to prove me wrong, I dare you. The gentlemen sitting next to us have had to go to our waiter several times to get their own utensils, food even. We had to ask for bread twice (in Paris mind you where bread is the first thing to hit the table) no butter. Butter took two attempts as well. A bread plate took another minute. We did get free Chocolate with our cafe au lait. Splendid.

Yelp
My aunt loves this place so we stopped over to buy her some macaroons. I personally like Laduree a bit more than here because i find their products to be on the slightly sweeter side. That is not to say this is not a great place to grab some sweets...but since I ran into Pierre Hermes work...I have never been the same

Yelp
Hahaha excellent excellent....

Yelp
The best Teas!! I always come for the tea and gifts! If you're a tea lover you'll be smart to smell the boxes and get 200 kg in bags and skip the pretty tins! Chocolates are yummy and so are the beautifully packaged Cocoa! There is a ton of coffee products there now! Try to go on your way back to your hotel or your arm will hurt lugging it around Paris! And def. don't forget to buys some bars of their chocolates like the No. 2 Milk Chocolate or the Coffee Chocolate!
