"In 1991, founder Han Chou brought his baking chops in Taiwan to Manhattan, and eventually to over 10 locations from Flushing to Maspeth, where he’s fed the Chinese communities pastry favorites like curry beef puffs and sesame balls. Fay Da is now selling an exciting assortment of mooncakes: Large and mini sets include durian lava, white lotus seed and egg yolk, jujube and walnut. They can be shipped nationwide." - Caroline Shin

The pastries here are absolutely amazing! So soft and has a perfect blend of sweetness. Wish I lived closer so I could splurge in these goodies whenever I want.

Fay Da Bakery is one of our favorite Hong Kong style bakeries in NYC due to its variety with reasonable price. The interior decor is bright and wide-spaced. Their pastries weren’t the best but decent enough when we were craving for an Asian taste. We love their savory sandwiches and pineapple bun with red bean. It’s perfect for a quick breakfast or light lunch.

Bought two cakes for my moms birthday I got taro and chestnut both cakes had moldy fruit. They didn’t even show me the cakes when i picked it up. Purposely wrapped up the box so i didn’t see the fruit on top had mold.

Nice mango mousse cake. I would give a 5 stars if there are no cake at the middle layer. Anyway, the cake still tastes good.

One of the few places that I can still find coconut raisin bread! They also have many other choices to chose from. Highly recommend going early before they sell out on the popular items!

Would not buy this drink even for $0.01. The aftertaste felt like thirty ants crawling on my tongue

Purchased a Black Forest cake slice, that went moldy after 2 days despite placing it in the fridge an hour after purchasing. Wondering how long do they actually keep the slices on display... could be over a week.

Thanks god they start taking card payments. Mango mousse cake is favorite from there and the vanilla cake. Good snack maker.
