We thoroughly enjoyed FEAST! Everything was delicious. It’s dim sum but made to order! Their pork buns were generously filled with meat - super tasty, too! Their soup dumplings and potstickers were killer. You can tell they’re handmade. And their sesame balls…best dessert ever. We will definitely be coming back!

Highly executed, absolutely delicious food. Great space, attentive service. I highly recommend. We ordered pot stickers, spicy wontons, pork belly buns, Berkshire pork xiao long bao, and Berkshire pork morel mushroom xiao long bao. The dipping sauces were also very good.

Good food and service. The night we went, they were all out of dumplings. Darn, we will have to go back. 😏 excellent servers, beautiful restaurant. They have a nice patio if you like to eat outside.

Couldn’t decide between 3 or 4, but giving 4 because servers were very pleasant. Tofu bao buns were delicious. I ended up getting the vegetarian rice bowl which was tasty enough, but admittedly I should’ve gotten a dumpling plate since that is their specialty. Down marks were their drinks. My friend got a specialty iced tea and i got the Old Shanghai (their take on a traditional old-fashioned). Cocktail was not pleasant at all, but my friend mentioned his tea to staff who were VERY kind about offering something else. Overall, a little slow on getting plates out, but great atmosphere and friendly workers with other tasty-sounding dishes. All worth a second try :)

Best Dumplings and Crab Rangoons I've ever had! Everything tasted so good and the service was also great. Would highly recommend everything on the menu. Prices seemed reasonable for the quality and presentation of food. Should definitely eat here if you're in the area!

Visited due to a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately, they didn't have some of the dumplings available that day. The service was very average but they sure have a great atmosphere. Cocktails were decent and the food was nicely presented. We surely enjoyed the edamame as it had a great taste of garlic and spiciness. The matcha tiramisu was a light desert and was the perfect way to end the meal. Would like to visit again when in town to try some of the dumplings that weren't available the night we visited.

During a recent visit to Madison, WI we were in the mood for soup dumplings. We made our way to Feast a very interesting Asian restaurant. When entering the lighting is subdued, the furnishings and art are wonderful. You feel transformed to another land. The service is superb. Our server Han was very helpful and answered any questions we had about a dish. The food is wonderful. We had 2 kinds of soup dumplings a traditional pork and a pork with mushrooms. Both were the best we've ever tasted. We also had spring rolls and pot stiickers, both equally as good. For desert we had sesame balls with Nutella. To die for!!! They prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I highly recommend Feast if you are in Madison

The best place to get some amazing Asian dumplings and delicious buns! If you are getting the dumplings - get them pan fried always! We’ve been here many times and have ordered different items and never been disappointed. You can simply try what your use to having but if you want to try something new - go for it - you won’t be disappointed!

I still think about this places poke bowl. It was HUGE. It easily could have been two meals but I powered through. I loved it. I dream of going back and if you are asking what is stopping me I will tell you I DON'T KNOW *grabs car keys and plots in GPS*. The space is super cute and parking isn't terrible. It's in a very unassuming location since it's connected to apartments so you just might miss it if you aren't looking. I look forward to returning and trying my poke bowl again as well as some new items too.

I'm always excited to try restaurants on Willy St. in Madison, known for its trendy and international food, so when we decided to go to Feast I had optimism for a good meal. We made reservations online, and were promptly seated when we arrived. Although the restaurant was not full, we were seated in a fairly full section (I assume due to staffing). But our server was nice and attentive. They were out of many of the items on the menu, but fortunately for us none of the ones I wanted were nixed. One of the down sides of their soup dumplings is that they're all meat based. We weren't the only table to ask. But for most people this isn't a consideration. We ordered a cocktail and a green tea. The tea was very good and came in a fun pot. Much of the food was good, although the tofu options were basically the same thing across multiple dishes (not a lot of variety). We ordered four dishes to share: vegetable spring rolls (which were big and good), scallion pancakes (which were very small and didn't taste of scallion at all), tofu buns (which were tasty but buns were over-steamed and soggy), and veggie potstickers. In the end it was a good dining experience.

We came in at 7:30 on a Saturday night. It took a few minutes for a waiter to come to acknowledge us and a few more for them to clear a table, but we were seated reasonably quickly. Service was prompt and attentive once we got seated. We had tofu buns and a shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was really good, the tofu was just ok. Unfortunately they were out of a number of items although the menu warned they were made in limited quantities. We ended up with poke bowls which were fresh and flavorful

The interior of this restaurant was soooo pretty. We started off with the scallion pancake and pork belly buns, and they were really good! The pork belly was a little dry though. We also got the chilly chili glass noodles, but we unfortunately did not like the flavor and the noodles weren't like the see-through glass noodles we expected. The potstickers were really flavorful, but I felt like the crust was too fried and burnt. The star of the show is definitely the xiao long bao! Awesome soup, flavorful meat. We got the fried sesame balls with nutella for dessert and while it was really good, there wasn't enough red bean paste inside. The service was really fast though and our server was extremely patient!

We came here for a couple appetizers and loved the food! It was an early Saturday evening when we walked in and we didn't have a reservation. When we were greeted they said if we didn't have a reservation they couldn't seat us (even though there were many open tables) but we could sit at the bar. I was surprised by this but we had a lot of fun just sitting up at the bar. We each had a beer and then enjoyed the Tofu Buns and the Peas, Corn & Carrot Potstickers. I appreciated how they spaced out our 2 appetizers instead of bringing them both at once. The Tofu Buns are my new faves. The veggies were incredibly fresh and crunchy and the bun was puffy and delicious. We also really enjoyed the potstickers, it was my first time having pan-fried potstickers and I loved them. The staff was friendly and the space had a great vibe. It looked like they had a small patio seating space we want to try next time. We will be back for a full meal next time and will be sure to make a reservation.

Great food, okay service. We were seated pretty quickly while waiting for some friends but it was at least 20 minutes before we had our drink orders in and our table was right by the door so it was quite cold during our wait. I appreciated the tea menu and the Dragon fruit tea was delicious! Other highlights were the pot stickers and the pork/morel soup dumplings - both super flavorful and the pot stickers were nice and crunchy. The Szechuan won tons were also really tasty and not too spicy. As a dessert, the sesame balls with Nutella were just okay. The decor of the restaurant is really lovely and there's several fun statues around that make for good photo opportunities - there were some groups that took advantage of that while we were there!

I've been here twice now, and have enjoyed the meal both times. Our family tends to feel like we perhaps ordered too much, but it turns out just right! The restaurant has a cool vibe; a little dark with deep reds in the decor. It can be cool; bring a layer. I'm a huge fan of their Thai iced tea. My favorite on the menu - soup dumplings and potstickers. You almost feel bad about breaking the cool lattice pattern on the potstickers to dig in! We have tried the wontons (both ways), rice shumai, scallion pancake, crab Rangoon, and tofu buns. Our service has been friendly both times. I did have to chase down some spoons for the soup dumplings once on the busier night we were there. My daughter was really sad to see the matcha tiramisu go away but the cheesecake was pretty good too per her report!

I dined in on a Saturday evening. The place was not super busy. I went with some of the crowd favotites. Black truffle Xiao long bao is probably my favorite item here. This dish is a very tough to make item. And it is not as good as the ones I used to have in NYC. But this is the best I had in Madison. It was well made, flavorful and had enough soup inside. Pork belly buns was another excellent item. Beef and cilantro dumpling was flavorful. It was interesting visually, because it was all dumplings sticking together and fried together. One breaks it apart to eat.

Every bite was delicious and memorable! We will be back on our next trip to Madison!

These guys served me the second best meal I've had in Madison. Everything was incredible. We ordered 3 different kinds of soup dumplings, a cucumber salad, pot stickers, pork belly bao buns and a poke bowl. Each item equally delicious and delightful. Service was good and the atmosphere, perfect. 10/10 would recommend. Great work guys!

Feast is one of my favorite restaurants in Madison, and the food here never misses! I do wish they had a vegetarian or pescatarian option for the xiao long bao, but besides that the menu is incredible & there are SO many fantastic food & drink options. The scallion pancakes may be the best I've had & I love their crab Rangoon. The veggie potstickers I had were also very good, and I've loved the fish bao that they've had in the past. The dragonfruit tea is delicious as well. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always gorgeous. I will say that the service that I had the last time I ate here wasn't outstanding. Our server did not refill our waters at all or check in about how the food was, and they weren't particularly friendly. I often recommend this restaurant to friends and family, so it was disappointing that the service was so inattentive. Beyond that, I love Feast & would highly recommend it if you're looking for a delicious meal!

Food and service were great! Started with a few spring rolls which were good and not too big (nice and hot!). Next we tackled their California style Bowl (nice and fresh), potstickers (awesome!), Bao (chicken and onions and was my favorite), and the chicken wonton (very good broth). Ambiance was good and everything seemed clean and fresh. Only knock is I wanted a bottle of mineral water or sparkling water or something other than tea/liquor. I wish I could give them 4.5 stars as I did enjoy. I will return for sure and try a few more as my first impression was great!

So happy I went to Feast today! First time here and it is restaurant week so I was able to try quite a variety. Scallop shumai was a perfect starter. Then pork belly buns (the best I have had in years). Washed them down with a "Just Melon" cocktail. So refreshing! It has muddled kiwi, chareau, melon and cucumber topped off with Hilo Vodka. All the flavors came together so well! For the main course, I had the Signature Ocean Feast poke bowl. Crab, shrimp and a generous amount of tuna on a bed of jasmine rice and cucumber, with shoyu, wasabi mayo and pickled ginger, topped with delicate crispy onions. A perfect combination. Finished with matcha tiramisu. Unexpected, yet wonderful dessert. The atmosphere is pretty traditional, yet lively. My server was friendly and knowledgeable and had some great recommendations. This was the perfect start to restaurant week! Thank you Feast!

Spacious with indoor/outdoor seating. Parking can be a hassle. Red used as main colors with accents. Soothing music playing. Have been eyeing this place for a while but have only been in the area to get bread so this restaurant was always closed. Well, I was in a hospital in Madison and released around the lunch hour so asked to be taken here for lunch. We were not disappointed. First tried the steamed buns with pork belly. My husband said he could just order a few of those for a whole meal. We got an appetizer of 2. They were delicious. I ordered dumplings with pork and sauerkraut. I got a weird look from my husband but I like to try new things. They were actually pretty good with just a hint of the sauerkraut. The dipping sauces were tasty too. My husband ordered wontons, which were tasty also. We had a doggie bag with 1/2 the dumplings and wontons left for another meal at home. I also had a peach green tea I enjoyed. So many good restaurants around but we will want to go back to this one again.

Feast was a yummy spot! We had a reservation on a Saturday night and were seated quickly. Our server was nice, but it did take a while to get our order taken and for the food to come out. We ordered a variety of items including the pork soup dumplings, chicken and chive pot stickers, the edamame wontons and the teriyaki poke bowl. All were quite good, but our favorites were the soup dumplings and the pot stickers. Would definitely come again!

Looking for yummy dumplings in Madison? FEAST is the spot to check out! We started with scallion pancakes, which were flaky, fluffy, and flavorful. The crab rangoon were delicious, with the perfect portion of stuffing. But my favorites were the fried fish balls, which were divine little bites - I highly recommend these!! In terms of dumplings, we had: pork, shrimp, and chive; pork, scallop, and chive; seafood dumplings; and the veggie dumplings. By far, my favorites were the pork and scallop, as well as the seafood dumplings. But really none of them disappointed! To drink, there was a long list of teas to choose from, but I ended up selecting a drink similar to a lychee martini. The modern Asian-inspired instrumental music in the background created a hip environment. Seating was comfortable and the pillows on the booths were a nice touch. Service was somewhat unremarkable. I look forward to coming back!

Pork belly buns and soup dumplings, and spicy wontons are must try dishes. Green scallion cakes, Shrimp and scallop Shao Mi, Big Frog Tofu poke bowl all hit the spot as well. Everyone loved this joint. We parked nearby at IO Arcade Lot. Coming back for sure

Delicious dinner on a busy Friday night. We had the Big Frog and Classic Hawaii Poke bowls, and Pork and black truffle dumplings. All were fantastic, full of complex flavors. The Classic Hawaii had a real kick due to the many jalapeño slices, but in a good way. Our only complaint is that the dumplings arrived late, after the rest of us were just finishing up our meals. The menu might want to be updated to state that it takes longer. The ambience is quite enjoyable and we will definitely be back.

Is it possible we ordered too much food? Yes, and also no. Our group ended up splitting 5 appetizers: Spicy garlic edamame - fantastic flavor, 9/10 Scallion pancakes - delicious and crunchy, a tad greasy, 8.5/10 Crab rangoon - ok, nothing special (don't hate me), 6/10 Fried fish balls - phenomenal (and my personal favorite), 10/10 Pork belly buns - amazing + pillowy buns, 10/10 We also tried the beef and onion dumplings (pan-fried) and the pork and shrimp dumplings (pan-fried) - both dishes were prepared well. Overall, the service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and we all left very full and satisfied! p.s. there is a cute little outdoor patio, and our waiter let us know that occasionally there is live music

One of our favorite spots in Madison, with delicious food and beautiful ambiance. Be ready to order family style and to try many different dumplings/shumai. The scallion pancakes and spicy edamame are delicious appetizers to start with, and the drinks are strong and worth the price. We've never had to wait for a table, even when dining in on a busy weekend night.

What a pretty place and delicious food. Service was prompt and food came quickly. We enjoyed the dumplings and rice bowl very much. The only thing that keeps this from being five stars for us is that it is too loud. It was almost impossible for us to hear each other.

4 stars for the food but 5 stars for the overall experience. I brought my wife for a dinner date. The decor set the tone of the meal nicely with lots of blacks and reds studded with various Chinese artwork. There was plenty of seating on a Sunday night and our waiter checked in on us frequently. Their tea list had a variety of choices ranging from earl gray to green tea to some complex herbal blends. Each tea came with a paragraph's worth of description and a rating of the caffeine content form high to low. We started off with a pot of jasmine green tea served in a black ceramic pot, with instructions to steep for 4 minutes. Without using too many flowery tea descriptors (pun intended as it was nice and floral), the tea was tangibly superior to the standard green tea that you can get at most Chinese restaurants. For starters, we ordered the garlic edamame and vegetable spring rolls. The edamame was absolutely smothered in savory cooked garlic. The spring rolls were crisp, drizzled in sweet chili sauce and stuffed full of mushrooms. For our dumpling course, we ordered the rice shu mai, traditional three-ingredient dumplings, and vegan dumplings. The shu mai was completely different than any other I'd had; instead of a ground pork and shrimp meatball, they were filled with rice and mushrooms, steamed and served with garlic chili sauce and hoisin sauce. They were a fun novelty but were messy to eat as the rice spilled out of the dumpling wrapper easily, and weren't as savory as the standard variety. We ordered the other dumplings pan-fried. The three ingredient traditional dumplings contained pork, shrimp, and chives. They were good, not great, but better than the large majority of dumplings that I've had in the Midwest. The vegan dumplings contained corn, carrot, and peas, and tasted as you would expect with just those three ingredients. For dessert, we had matcha tiramisu. The spongy cake was soaked in tea instead of coffee, with matcha powder sprinkled on top. I thought this was a really clever twist on a classic dessert and it was executed well. We left happy and full. We could have done with maybe one less appetizer, but that still means it would have taken about 3 orders of dumplings, an appetizer, and a dessert to leave full. The cost for the meal was about $60 before tax and tip; a little higher than your average dinner out in Madison, but for the experience overall it was worth it. This is the kind of establishment that puts attention into the small details. We will be back.

Dumplings and Rangoon (smothered in sauce) were delish. I expected the cucumber salad to have more of a tangy vinegar base but it was in a brown soy based sauce so I will skip next time. The dumplings come pan fried with all the little crispy shell that form in the pan. The Bao was awesome. Pillowy and exactly what I wanted. We got pork belly and brisket. Scallion pancakes have crispy layers of a dough/potato mixture. Dined in with a reservation and they seemed a little understaffed/behind on their kitchen but everyplace is these days. Did not try the gourmet tea menu items.

cute ambiance but pretty average food :/ i wouldn't call this place authentic by any means, i liked how crispy the potstickers were but it didn't blow my mind. i actually preferred the teriyaki chicken bowl over the potstickers. drinks were yummy tho (i got the lychee martini one)! our server wasn't overly helpful and wasn't able to provide many recommendations but they did come by several times to refill waters. the tiramisu matcha for dessert was good but very strong matcha on top. scallion pancake and pork buns were kinda mid, but i liked the sauce it came with

Feast presents a welcoming, themed decor and a knowledgeable service staff. They have a decent selection of teas across many varieties which are worth a try to enjoy with your meal. While the Pork and Mushroom Dumplings were generally good the Shrimp, Chive and Egg Dumplings were pungently fishy which was a bit much.

Not familiar with Madison, so our guide was Yelp where we found this place. It has a favorable rating and reviews so we went with an expectation. We were not disappointed. The decor and cleanliness were inviting and a good sign to start. Then, our server was prompt, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. He even helped us with the amount of food to order We were served tea and shrimp crackers to start. Our main courses were shumai, vegetables dumplings, and potstickers. They were made to order; fresh and full flavor. Wish we have ordered more.

The are not good at all about people with allergies. We talked about peanut allergies extensively and they still brought out the dish with sesame seeds! Luckily we could see them or we would have been in the ER. Cool decor and good food for but having to pay for their mistakes and not being able to eat together was unacceptable.

The inside of the restaurant was nice. We sat at the bar because they had a puzzle night event there. The staff were friendly. I liked the spring rolls I had and the scallion pancake was good. However, I did not prefer the fish balls or the scallop shumai. The texture of the fish balls were not what I was expecting since they were described as crispy. I would maybe go back and try something different but it's not high on the list for a return.

had a lovely time! the waitstaff was super attentive, had the choice to sit inside and outside, and the food was delicious. Our pot of tea was the perfect size for the two of us on a date night. We ordered scallion pancakes, pea shoot dumplings, shrimp shumai, and pork buns. Chamomile tea was delicious and stayed warm, all of the food was quick, and staff checked in on us and made sure everything was okay. Atmosphere: 5/5 it was beautiful, nice lighting, spaced out seating, indoor outdoor options, and not too dark (I hate "mood lighting" that just means you can't see) Food: 5/5 very good food, quick, and came with different sauces which was delicious. Service: 5/5 kind and attentive waitstaff, gave us time and recommendations, made sure our water was always full and cleared plates. All in all, would recommend and will definitely be back.

I've been here 3/4 times now and LOVE IT. Traditional Asian dumplings, that taste the part and trust me I've had dumplings all over Asia! We had the rice & shrimp shumai, which are both fantastic and the beef and carrot pan fried dumplings. Their pan fried dumplings are so crispy and taste amazing. I've had most things on the menu at this point, and they all taste great. They also let us bring our pup on their patio and it was nice and quiet!

The food was absolutely incredible! The appetizers blew us away in flavor, presentation, and variety! We ordered the tuna buns, crab rangoon, and scallion pancake. My family and I devoured them, and we joked about just asking for another round of appetizers. However, we ordered dumplings too, and they were also delicious! My personal favorite was the pan-fried pork and shrimp. My dad loved the pan-fried beef and cilantro, and my mom's favorite was the steamed shrimp shumai. We enjoyed the steamed scallop dumplings, but we probably would skip that one next time. I also got one of their cocktails, and it was beautiful and delicious. The restaurant is super cute and well-decorated as well! Where this restaurant lost a point for me was in the service. It was quick and all, but our waiter was just not a very pleasant person. He never said anything to us, and he seemed like every refill was a painful task. My dad ordered a liquor that they didn't have, and his reaction was just fairly rude. Maybe it wasn't his day, but I was slightly saddened by it because we really enjoyed the food and everything! I'd still return, but I'll hope my waiter is having a better day.

This is one of our favorite spots in Madison to hit for dinner. We have never had a problem getting a table which is surprising because the food and ambiance is delectable. We always get the beef and onion potstickers then switch it up with some other entrees. The bun appetizer is super yummy and the sauce that comes with it is perfection. Their tea options are always something I look forward to! The wait staff is friendly. My only downside is that the stools outside are a bit small so they are not super comfortable for someone with a larger behind. Highly recommend!!

This is the trashiest place I have ever been to in my life. Walked in 6:40pm, tell us to leave phone number and wait about 40-1h, waited 1 hour, no calls received yet, walked in again to ask, and they said they forget to call and bring us to seat. Sat down, waited 20mins for someone to take our order, waited another 40mins to get appetizer, I ordered 4 sets of Xiao Long Bao and they only bring up one and said they cannot do 4 for a table. Waited another 30mins, nothing else that we ordered came up, and no one ever came to us to explain. Running out of any patience, we went to the front desk to pay and leave. Said that the kitchen cooker is broken, but why no one tell anything to us?????? F**k this place, I will NEVER go there again.

I am considering booking a flight back to Wisconsin solely to have another meal here! The restaurant is extremely unassuming as it has a narrow front side with an outside seating area that is somewhat hidden from the street side. We went in on a whim after seeing that they had homemade dumplings. We ordered the iced teas on the menu to start and they were amazing. Lots of flavor and they didn't taste over sweetened or sweetened at all for that matter. Scallion Pancakes: One portion was one pancake that was split into quarters. The pancake was fried which really brought out all the flaky layers. There was an amazing dipping sauce that accompanied the pancake as well as a ton of fresh green onions. 10/10 Tofu Buns: These were AMAZING. The tofu was fried but did not sit heavily in the stomach or in the mouth. There were a ton of fresh flavors with the toppings as well as the tofu. The bun itself was super fluffy and had a good sweetness to it that complemented the spicier filling. Three Ingredient Dumplings: We got these steamed. The filling included egg, shrimp, and mushrooms. There was a lot of flavor considering the steamed filling. Cooked to perfection and came with a yummy sauce. Rice Shu Mai: These were definitely the star of the show. The filling was INCREDIBLE. There were no words to describe the flavor medley of the rice and mushrooms. I wish I could order a million more!

While the aesthetics might fancy reviewers, I felt like the food hit subpar. Ample street parking even for such a busy area. We made reservations at 630 on a Friday and seated promptly. They do have spacious seating so you're not on top of one another. Good for small groups but also able to accommodate large ones. I think I saw a group of 10-12 people at a table. We ordered the white peach tea, scallion pancake, the pork belly bun, scallop/cuttlefish and traditional three ingredient dumplings all steamed. The scallion pancake was light and crispy although it felt a bit over greasy. I liked the tenderness of the meat from the pork belly buns. However, they needed more flavoring. I found it tacky that they had to brand their bun with the name. Among the dumplings, at first, they all tasted similar. I wouldn't say I had a favorite. I thought the chili oil could have had a stronger kick but I get the appeal of arranging the spice level to mild for all to enjoy. I find this place, based on the current reviews, to be a little overhyped. I'd be open to trying it again, and trying the dumplings pan-fried.

Awesome little spot in Madison with a variety of dumplings and siu mai. Great ambience, beautiful decor, and friendly wait staff. Food came out quickly and was very delicious. Madison has some great Asian cuisine and this place is a prime example of that.

I'm really happy to see the high rating for this place because it deserves it. I hope more people try it out so it sticks around a while because I want to go back many more times. The menu is simple and straightforward but offers items for your gluten free or vegan friends. I ordered the spicy garlic edamame and shrimp shumai. The shrimp shumai was so delicious I almost ate it all before I could snap a picture. I was telling my friend it reminded me of some of the best food I've eaten in New York City. We were sat right away, service was attentive and friendly, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was comfortable. My friend and I already made a plan to go back! Update on 1/8/22: I already went back. Couldn't get it off my mind. Hands down best crab rangoon I've ever had and the pea shoots, pan fried dumplings are to die for. I also picked up the scallion pancakes this time and oh man, yes please. So happy I ordered for curbside tonight. I'm in heaven.

Although the environment is nice, the food was nothing spectacular. My boyfriend and I ordered the pork belly buns ($7.95), traditional three fresh dumplings ($13.95), matcha tiramisu ($6.50), along with a pot of white peach tea ($6.00). Overall, we thought the food lacked flavor and underwhelming. The pork belly buns were fine, but I found myself really relying on the provided dipping sauce for additional flavor. Same can be said about the dumplings where I thought the taste was carried by the chili oil and dipping dumpling sauce. The tea was nice (free refills!) and the tiramisu was fine as well. After seeing a couple of reviews around the internet, I had high hopes for this place, but after my experience, the food was just mediocre and a bit more pricey for taste and portion sizes.

Overall, I really enjoyed this place! It was off to a shaky start with the host not ready to seat us, so we sat at the bar for a bit but no one serviced us, then we had to follow up with the host again 30 minutes later to get an actual table. But It's just one factor of the overall experience and mostly why it's a 4. But, let's get to the most important part- food. We got 2 alcoholic drinks, a matcha green milk tea, pork buns, crab Rangoons and 2 orders of dumplings. The whole bill came out to be just under $100 with tip and overall I would say it's worth it! - matcha milk tea: it was good. Not great. You can distinctly taste the matcha which is inherently a little bitter. The milk and ice mixture was a little off. The overall drink was a bit more watery and not as sweet as I would like, but if they're going for simplistic, I can see what they were shooting for and really just letting the matcha shine - Crab Rangoon: really really good. Comes with 4 and are nicely sized. The mixture was perfectly balanced and I think they add a little citrus or ginger to cut all the creaminess of the cheese. Overall, I would say top 3 in Madison - Pork bun: delish! Nice slice of pork, good l sauce, and fresh bun - Pork and shrimp steamed : very good. Like grandmas place good - Beef and cilantro pan fried: I LOVED the way this one was prepared. Beef and cilantro is an interested combo for dumplings but it worked and paired with the preparation and sauce it was pretty incredible. I really just highly recommend anything pan fried Overall, if I'm ever craving dumplings I will happily come here. Happy dumpling eating! Oh! And one of the nice workers plays live music on one of the traditional instruments! It really added to the ambiance and experience. Truly if they had just a tad bit better service it would be a 5

Delicious dumplings! I've had dumplings at some of the top restaurants in China and Hong Kong- unfortunately, these dumplings don't compare. However, for local dumplings this place is a great option! We ordered 5-6 different types and couldn't pick a favorite- all were equally good.

We went there to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation at 7 but showed up around 6:30 and were seated early. The hostess welcomed us with a happy birthday which was so sweet. Our server, Gabriel, gave us great recommendations and answered all of our questions. Before our food came I asked if we could move to a quieter spot and again everyone was so kind. Our food came out quickly-- started with the scallion pancake and deep fried fish balls. Next a teriyaki poke bowl, beef and kimchi pot stickers, and pork wontons. The only thing I wouldn't order again was the deep fried fish balls which was a texture thing for me, still great flavor. We got a complimentary matcha cheesecake which Gabriel tried finding a candle for but couldn't. To drink we got herbal dragon fruit tea and an old Shanghai. I can't stress enough how awesome the service was. we will definitely be back to try everything else!!

Delicious dumpling house on Willy St! The perfect place for this hidden gem. We loved the pork belly buns and the beef brisket buns (2 per order). The pork and mushroom dumplings pan-fried were also a crowd favorite. And don't skip the rice ahumado filled with stick rice and tasty mushrooms! Such a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Numerous teas to choose from as well as sake, cocktails, wine, and beer. This place is a family run business and they are doing something right. A perfect meal on a cold winter night!

Outside seating was available so we got a high table for a party of five. We ordered a variety of appetizers and dumings and served them as family style. We basically ordered everything feom their menu and enjoyed most of them. A few dishes that you should not miss - the fried fish balls, the scallion pancakes, the sesame balls and thw steamed Phoenix buns. And I really think that this is a place to go with a few friends, so you get to order a few different dish to share and enjoy!

LOVED the food. Service was great. They have done a good job decorating the space, but it still seems slightly cold/office space-y (can blame the building architecture). They also had kung fu movies playing at the bar, which detracted from the fine dining experience. If not for the less than perfect ambiance, I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back!

Wow, what a hidden gem!! Feast is a newer restaurant located on Williamson Street. It has such a cool, zen kind of vibe inside. The ambiance is just wonderful. They also have a cute outdoor patio with heaters for when it's cold, and umbrellas to cover your table when it's sunny. I've had several different drinks and dishes at Feast. There are tons of tea options, appetizers, and kinds of dumplings. I've loved the pork buns, spring rolls, and beef & carrot dumplings. I've had the dumplings steamed and pan fried. Both are delicious!! They also serve the dumplings with 3 different sauces. There's a garlic chili sauce, a vinegar sauce, and their secret dumpling sauce. My favorite is the dumpling sauce because it's sweeter. They are following all safety guidelines and the restaurant is very clean. I feel very safe dining in or eating on the patio. What a great addition to Madison!!

With an easy to use online reservation system, we showed up and we're quickly seated at a great table. Our food was wonderful. We shared four different menu items and had a $3.50 imported beer. Everything was flavorful, beautifully presented, and served in a timely manner. The service was exceptional.

You must visit Feast if for no other reason than to have the vegan dumplings. I've been craving them ever since we had them. My husband had the scallop dumplings and enjoyed them very much as well. We tried the fish balls at the recommendation of another Yelp review - I unfortunately didn't love them. Our server was very attentive, and provided the chef's recommendations (e.g., steamed vs fried) for the items we ordered.
