A Weekend Travel Guide to Pittsburgh Restaurants - Eater DC

"Federal Galley is a food hall offering a variety of cuisines, including Detroit-style pizza and Mexican fare, with vendors that rotate regularly." - Missy Frederick

Smallman Galley Review - Strip District - Pittsburgh - The Infatuation

"Smallman Galley is home to four separate restaurants inside of one hall. Basically, it’s the fanciest food court you’ve ever seen without an escalator maze to get there. The restaurants change every 18 months, with the current residents serving tacos, sandwiches, barbecue, and Eastern-European pub food. When your group can’t agree on one place, or you never like committing to one dish, Smallman is the solution." - Madeline Quigley

The 14 Best New Restaurants in Pittsburgh - Eater

"The second food hall from the Smallman Galley team features burgers and banh mi from Provision PGH; tacos, tortas, and sides from El Lugar; Detroit-style pizza from Michigan and Trumbull; and farm-to-table-inspired fare from Supper. The 5,000-square-foot space is anchored by a bar in a former vault, serving cocktails, house wines, an array of local and national craft brews. With the warmer weather, look for the 100-seat outdoor patio to debut." - Melissa McCart

This is great, sort of hidden gem to get some food, for one there are many different places to grab food in here and a good selection of food and drinks. There is also plenty of seating and clean bathrooms. I also like they have an outdoor seating area although I wish it was covered. We came here on a sunny day and the temp outside was super nice but we got demolished by the sun as there is zero shade. Accessibility is also an issue, to get here the quickest way is up a giant flight of steps so if you got accessibility challanges there isn't an obvious way to get to this level that I could see.

Google
Love the concept whereby you grab a numbered position in the spacious dining area, scan a QR code to order food from any of the vendors, enjoy the delicious food, and go (no need to clear the table). There are water carafes available in the dining room. The food from Burger Graffiti was so scrumptious that I almost consumed all of it before thinking about a photo for my review. And the prices were great also. One of the best food halls I’ve been to, and I’ve been to many, considering how popular they’ve become.

The Federal Galley is a neat spot to grab a bite and try some beers/cocktails. The atmosphere is relaxed. We went before a concert at the stadium, it wasn't too crowded and was within walking distance from our hotel and to the stadium. The 4 different kitchen gives you a great variety of options. There were vegetarian options as well as Gluten free buns available. The beer selection was pretty good (you can see it on untapped) and they had a nice selection of cocktails as well as a full bar. We happened to be there at happy hour and our 4 beers ended up costing us about 18$ The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is the table was dirty, we had to find napkins and clean it off. It is more like a food court, as you grab your water/ glasses and cutlery yourself. The food was delicious and we will probably go back if we find ourselves in town for a show.

Google
A nice place to eat and hangout. Consists of an open area with tables, some having regular chairs, others being picnic style, as well as seats at the two-sided bar. The bar offers reasonably priced craft beers, and ofcourse any non-alcoholic beverages one might order. There were four food options, each independent of the other. One was a southwestern style fried chicken place, another offered pizza and related bread dishes, the third served Mexican food, and the fourth offered carribean style bowls. Overall, drinks were good, food was delicious, and the facility itself was clean and updated.

Google
Well, this isn't fair to review the whole place, I just wanted to review the Mexican/Taco restaurant. This is my 3rd time eating there – the first was amazing, the second so-so, but last weekend's visit was awful and made me to write this review! It wasn't busy, but the staff were rude, and $14 for a barely made an effort to cook, chunky, dry, tasteless ground beef taco?! I tipped more than 20% and expected better service, but the guy literally threw the plate in front me. No napkins, no utensils. Very disappointed. 👎

Google
The bartender was amusing as hell to watch (he's one of those guys whose face says what his mouth isn't) but very nice to us. He was pretty busy. We had a margherita pizza and an arugula prosciutto salad. Both very good. We stacked the arugula on the pizza and it was delicious. ❤️

Google
We had: crab fries (as you know, I'm a fan of crab fries-- but these were knock-your-socks-off spectacular), three chicken tenders on salad (tender, crispy, perfectly dressed), and a Detroit-style pizza alla vodka, which was probably the best pizza I've had in the city so far. Easy, seamless online ordering process too! Highly recommend!

Google
Pretty cool spot! We took our kids and the staff was very welcoming and kind to them - I know our babies can be messy & the staff didn’t seem bothered at all. I love the different food options. I tried a Caribbean jerk chicken bowl and it was delicious! They also have tv’s for the various sports games.

Yelp
Stopped by Federal Galley today. Andrew had the Oklahoma onion Smashburger from beef graffiti 4.5 's. Burger was flavorful and the fries were perfectly done. I got the Crab Rangoon Fries from Given To Fly, the presentation was 5 's but the taste was more like 2.5 's. It was mainly cream cheese and lacked crab. It would be a great appetizer to split with 5+ people, I don't recommend it as a meal on its own lol. We are excited to go back and try more here!

Yelp
This place is one of my favorite food halls. I love how they offer delicious food options from local businesses. I've been here several times with my girlfriend and I really enjoy the Buffalo Seitan sandwich from Given to Fly. It's not easy finding seitan meals in the city so I love that there is a chicken alternative for vegetarians! Aisha is a big fan of Sokah which is a Caribbean BBQ restaurant. There is also a bar that has so many specialty cocktails and beer. Each restaurant also has brunch options on the weekends so be sure to check this place out either for dinner or brunch! Their outdoor seating is great in the summer time especially since they have live music every week :)

Yelp
We went on a Saturday around 2:00 PM for lunch. We ordered the Crab Rangoon fries at Given to Fly. Not worth it at all. The fries were $19, they came out lukewarm. The 'filling' was clumped on top with like an ice cream scooper, not spread around at all. If the fries were hot maybe it would have helped to make the filling edible but that wasn't the case for us. We (two of us) didn't even finish the one order of fries (pictured below). I wouldn't order these ones again if they were $5 instead of $19. We also ordered the PBR (pepperoni banana pepper ricotta) Detroit style pizza. It looked amazing when it came out but was also $19 for 6 slices. Please keep in mind I don't typically order Detroit style pizza so maybe that's fair. It was okay but I probably wouldn't order it again. It's definitely filling though, enough for two people or maybe three if you're not too hungry. It was good other than the ricotta being weirdly whipped which was the only thing I didn't like. I guess to sum up, it was fine. The galley wouldn't be my first choice for a food hall in Pittsburgh but I could understand why locals come here. The general vibe of the galley is super cute though. Great place to just hang out. We didn't drink but the selection looked great and it was cool that they featured mocktails.

Yelp
So bummed out about Sokah. They are making good money but had the need to manipulate the bill for $7 more dollars. The fix it up fries were "ok" at best. Grouper was very, very fishy. Coconut rice was very tasty. Not a big deal but it's the point of the thing. The service and drinks at Cocktails were amazing. Relaxed atmosphere and very inviting.

Yelp
Mijo is one of the 4 restaurants located at Federal Galley and it was fantastic! I got the Chopped Salad with shrimp and the shrimp might've been the best shrimp I've ever had. I couldn't believe how flavorful it was. 5 stars and highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great spot to chill and grab a drink. If it was warmer, I'd have taken my dog. They make it so easy to order with QR codes on the tables. The service was great being that it's not a restaurant and each sub-restaurant has its own staff run the food. I ordered from Given to Fly. I got the Nobu Chicken Tenders and they were so delicious. I highly recommend! I ordered two beers bc it was happy hour and almost over, the wait for either was normal and not overly long. It's a definite spot to add to your after work list!

Jim S.

Yelp
Outstanding food fast and friendly Great service Highly recommend when in Pittsburgh

Yelp
The Federal Galley food hall in Novo Place is a great weekend lunch spot. I liked the various options for food and the indoor/outdoor options for dining. My wife and I enjoyed the food from Mijo before we walked over to the National Aviary. They also have a full bar for those looking for the full brunch or nightlife experience. We'll definitely be stopping by this summer before our North Shore events.

Hilary A.

Yelp
Great food and a wonderful experience. We had a wonderful time with our kids as well. The food variety was great.
google avatar

Yelp
A place like the federal galley is such a good spot for work gatherings. A variety of options and a perfect environment for socializing and not being too structured. Our group sat outside and there was enough space for about 20 of us to socialize at 2 long tables. The service was efficient and kind and the eats yummy. Will definitely be back for larger group gatherings that doesn't need to be too complicated. Parking is kind of challenging but we were lucky enough to get street parking where others in our group had to park a good ways away in a garage. Just allow time to drive around if you have goals for nearby street parking.

Yelp
Sixteen fifty for a tiny bowl of food. Pretty tasty, but not worth it. Even in "this economy." (Specific gripe is with the Jamaican place. Not sure about others.)
google avatar

Lexus H.

Yelp
Service is awesome and I loved all of the places except 1 the Mexican food place just had no flavor I was really sad it's normally my favorite but I was disappointed with my street corn as well as my tacos HOWEVER THE JERK CHICKEN AND COLESLAW FROM THE CARIBBEAN PLACE WAS AMAZING tried oxtail for the first time meat was a little fatty if you don't enjoy that or if you do
google avatar

Tarek H.

Yelp
Good food (pizza) The Jamaican restaurant was also good. The beer selection was awesome. Wonderful staff. Very prompt and friendly all around. Easy way to order from ur table and everything ll be brought to you. Clean, spacious, and fun. Def ll be back.

Yelp
First time in Federal Galley today and it was a great experience. Beer: Pretty good drink menu including beer, cider, mixed drinks, and NA beverages. There are also bottles of water that you can take to your table. Food: We ordered from Sokah Caribbean BBQ but there were a few different food options. The pulled pork sandwich that I had was delicious and the fries were good. The side of Mac & cheese was not very good and I wouldn't order that again. Venue: it was very busy but there is plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. The space was very clean. Walked there from where I was staying so not sure how easy it is to get parking nearby. Service: The bartenders were very friendly and the drinks came out right away. We didn't wait very long for the food either and when we were finished the plates and glasses were cleared quickly.

Yelp
Convenient lunch location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's a food hall with three restaurants and a bar. There was a fried chicken place, taco place, and sandwich/salad type place. I went with the taco place (Mijo) and ordered their 3 taco plate (2 chicken tacos and a shrimp taco). The tacos were honestly terrible (but I come from Cali with arguably the best Mexican food in the states). The corn tortillas were super oily and falling apart, and the meats were really dry and they didn't give much. The fixings were practically nonexistent and it was just a really bland, dry, and greasy taco. This place could be so much more with a few more establishments. It's a great space, with pretty mediocre options.
google avatar

Yelp
Crab Rangoon fries were delicious!! My husband got a Belgium waffle that he loved! Food was fabulous. Prices were pretty expensive for the amount of food you got. Overall good experience.

Yelp
Went to the Federal Galley after attending an event at the New Hazlett theater (walking distance). Of the four restaurants in the Galley, we went to "Given to Fly". Their specialty is chicken (menu attached). I ordered the 3 tenders tossed in buffalo sauce with small fry for $16 (picture attached). It was incredible. The food was delicious. Some of the best chicken fingers I have ever had. The portion was extremely generous. I highly recommend this restaurant and this dish. If you haven't been here yet or know the concept, this is a food hall with 4 different restaurants and communal seat yourself seating. Not much inside ambiance but nice in the summer when they have the outside open. Come for the food and check out these up and coming future restaurateurs.

Yelp
I have been meaning to try out Federal Galley for years now, so I got a group of my girlfriends together and we gave it a shot. All in all, I really enjoyed my time here. The happy hour, on Tuesdays through Fridays from 4:30-6:30, is one of the best around. All beer, wine, and cocktails are half off! With that said, our drinks were delicious! We also loved the different options of restaurants to choose from. Overall, our favorites were the pizza place and the soft pretzel. There is a decent amount of seating as well. Thankfully it was nice out, so we were able to sit outside at one of the picnic tables, but it did get busy. The bartenders were very kind, and each different restaurant's employees were as well. The place as a whole is a super cool concept. I think it's safe to say that we will be back!

Yelp
Love it here at federal galley. Fun to rotate and try new things. I'll keep updating my post with new pics. I love that they have mimosas on the weekends and they're great ratios if ya know what I mean. Same with their wine pours throughout the week during happy hour This burrito I posts has braised chicken in it and egg and cheese say less. I could only eat half because it was huge but because it was also fire I actually took the other half home, had a nap and ate the rest.

Yelp
Seriously, two stars is being generous. Had I known my BF was taking me to a food hall for lunch I would have stopped him right there but I didn't ask... nothing wrong with the "Hall", employees seemed nice enough and it was clean (as it would be considering I had someone vacuuming right next to me while I was eating). The bar needs a better selection of IPA's but otherwise was fine. We ate at Mijo which was just terrible. The chips and queso... stale chips with canned cheese that for some reason they added a sprinkle of shredded cheese to on top...? Why? So I could have cold unmelted cheese on top of the warmed up canned cheese to make it seem fresh? It did not. Street Tacos... the tortilla was completely soaked in oil and so gross. The grilled chicken? Tasted like frozen grilled checked strips brushed with some sauce and overcooked. The carnitas? Big pile of flavorless mush. The carne asada? Overcooked steak bits. Everything was so overcooked and flavorless. I ate some of the steak bits with the chips because the tortilla was just oozing grease and that's all you could taste - overcooked grease. Absolutely terrible. Also, there was a whole "grilled" jalapeño on the plate which was ice cold... ok if you make them ahead but why wouldn't you warm it? My partner took a bite and it was shocking, lmao. Unless you work over here and need a quick bite (probably pizza is the safest bet) I don't see why anyone would be here. There's nothing else over here and just sitting in a big loud open space with shitty food is not appealing.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
I think this is my favorite place for happy hour and not sure. I love the cafeteria style and food options. The fried chicken spot is so damn good. I've been here twice and both times I've got their food. There's a few bars seating but plenty of tables. Street parking is available nearby but is pretty limited.
google avatar

Dani J.

Yelp
This place was cool, especially as a dinner place after a day at The Children's museum. I wish there were vegan options. We had to pay for parking to eat here and some food was super reasonable and some wasn't. My mother had a grilled cheese and salad and it was huge and delicious looking and only 10 dollars. I had a bowl of pasta for $17 and it didn't come with bread or a salad. It just seemed unnecessarily expensive. I could see how this place would be great feeding a family with different tastes but I don't recommend searching it out if you're not already in the area.
google avatar

Ryan P.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch. This place is big and has plenty of tables, but it's also a more noisy environment on the inside. We settled on Salute, which does "elevated pub fare." Pricing was decent. I ordered the BLT sandwich with fries, and while the fries were hot, the sandwich was solid, if nothing special. My girlfriend got the gouda burger, which she complained of the aioli of containing too much truffle taste. Did grab a beer at the bar, and they have a nice selection. I went with a Bushel from Urban Artifact, but they also had cocktails and wine. Service was nice with the QR codes, if a little impersonal, and we weren't quite sure of the bussing situation. Overall, I'd say this isn't bad choice if you're in the area, but not worth making a trek to for it alone.
google avatar

Halie G.

Yelp
Great food hall and full service bar in the North Side. Indoor/outdoor dining available. Four delicious and different food concepts. Salute (elevated pub fair & brunch options), Driven (Detroit style pizza), Mojo (mix of New Mexican & traditional Mexican cuisine) and Given to Fly (fast-casual classic chicken). Lots of seating available - both at the bar and tables. Tried Mojito's tacos & street corn - absolutely delicious! The corn had incredible flavors.
google avatar

Miriam Y.

Yelp
If you have pretty indecisive friends or you can't decide what you wanna eat, this is the perfect spot for you. They got all kinda options from burgers to poke. The seating is first come first serve. We went on a weekday so there was plenty of seats available. We chose to sit outside and it was super chill. You order then they ask you what table you are at to deliver your food. I personally had the poke (spicy tuna) and my friend had sweet and spicy Shrimp. I thought my food was good but my friend said his meal was not sweet or spicy but wait it was too salty. A couple of my other friends had the pizza and burger and they seemed to be happy with it. So again, this is a great place for a variety of taste buds.
google avatar

Jayme B.

Yelp
Stopped into Federal Gallery around 9:30 on a Saturday evening. I was surprised that it was pretty empty. We sat at the bar. My date ordered the crab Rangoon fries and we each had a drink (a beer for him and a cocktail for me). My date was able to order and pay for his food on his phone. Once the order was ready, they delivered it to him. The space is dope- kind of industrial style. The staff were also so nice and helpful. This was my first time here, but won't be my last! I definitely want to come back and try some of the different food options!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
COOL AMBIANCE, OKAY FOOD. Federal Galley is a cool, hip, "food court" style place conveniently located on the north shore right next door to the Children's museum. It has several restaurants (4 total I believe) and a bar. You choose your own seating and pay at the counter and then the food is delivered to your table. I tried the Asian inspired restaurant, and my son tried a bowl of ramen. Unfortunately neither of us were super impressed with the food quality. My bowl - pictured here - while "pretty," was not super tasty. The shrimp tempura tasted like it was pulled out of the freezer and over fried. Definitely not fresh. Personally, I might recommend meeting a friend for a drink here or trying one of the other restaurants in the square, but if you're looking for really good eats, there are so many other great places in the city to try that I would go elsewhere.

Dorothy L.

Yelp
Five-star pizza and five-star crab rangoon fries, but Mijo tacos were terrible! We each got a taco -- chicken, shrimp and bean -- the the consensus for each was flavorless, boring and a waste of money. Guac: boring. Salsa: boring. Beans: flavorless. Rice: flavorless. (Mijo's potatoes were very good; hot, crispy and flavorful.) The servers at the Galley are always so nice and it's super helpful that they bring everything to your table. We love the atmosphere and convenience, but we're really disappointed that one of the food places was such a waste of money.
google avatar

Nancy C.

Yelp
We're so lucky to have an incubator like Federal Galley. It's fun seeing what restaurants come there. It's great they're given a shot there first before giving it a shot on their own. My mom and I really enjoyed the shrimp po boy at Salute. You get lots of shrimp and the bread and fries are very good. My husband really likes Mijo. He really liked his pork carnitas tacos. I got the beef Birria taco and thought it was pretty good. My husband and I both really like the chicken place. He loved the chicken tenders and waffle fries. I loved the chicken sandwich. The drinks from the bar are always great too. Next time, I want to try the Detroit Style pizza. You can't go wrong with the options there. Many previous options have gone on to have successful businesses.
google avatar

Allison J.

Yelp
I love the idea of Federal Galley! We were gathering with friends before a concert on a Saturday night, so it was ideal to find a place where we would not have to wait for seating, and where everyone could get what they wanted. I loved being able to order from my phone, and the service was fairly quick. I had an incredible steak salad with strawberries. My husband loved the pizza that he ordered. Note that it's pretty loud, so conversation can be a challenge, but I would definitely return!

Yelp
Such a thrill to find this place! Great quality food in a casual, unpretentious setting. Sokah, specifically, was amazing. 2 people had the brisket bowl and raved about it! I had the grouper bowl and it was Stellar! Beautiful, flavorful, rich with kick to it and quality ingredients. Lovely piece of fish cooked perfectly to. Good portion of avocado (a favorite) and just enough of the sauce. Full of vegetables in addition to the tender grouper. One kid had the fettuccini from Driven. Loved it. This is high quality food that you don't have to plan ahead and make reservations for. I was so stoked about the grouper dish! Usually we have to go on vacation and travel to places on the water to find this quality of seafood as well as quality of preparation in casual restaurants. You get to pick your table and just pick where you want to order from. Zero pressure. No one is pushing you to order quickly or trying to upsell anything. The 4 different kitchens give you lots of options. Currently it's Sokah, Given to Fly (chicken) , Driven (pizza and pasta) and Mijo (Mexican) -I liked their guacamole. Do you know what else is great? I emailed the Federal Galley contact email and They replied!! Quickly! With clear knowledge about the food and allergens in the different kitchens. How cool is that? A thoughtful, human reply. These folks care about their business and customers. Highly recommend! Eat here!!
google avatar

Hollie P.

Yelp
It's 4 different restaurants and a bar. Good for vegetarians. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor. We only had the Italian place and it was delicious. Dog friendly patio! Which is the entire reason we ate here. They have breakfast options as well. Definitely recommend and will be returning with the dogs.
google avatar

Kimi A.

Yelp
Mushroom bacon Swiss chicken sandwich was large and delicious! Miso ramen was hot and had lots of noodles. Restaurant is clean, accessible. Fun games for kids available. Poke bowls also full of fresh, tasty ingredients!
google avatar

Courtney W.

Yelp
Fun ambiance...lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I love that you can order food through a scanned QR code. This is a popular place for happy hour. I don't drink alcohol, but when I go I always ask the bartender for a mocktail. They always taste fresh and delicious.
google avatar

Madison G.

Yelp
Absolutely loved everything we ordered at this food hall! I love the system they have in place - you can order from any of the establishments via one QR code at the table. It made it so easy to try a bunch of things from different places! (We were here for Sunday brunch). Our table started off with bacon wrapped dates from Salute, which were delicious!! I had the blueberry ricotta toast from Driven (the pizza place) and it was OUTSTANDING! I loved the "toast" dough so much, I can't wait to go back and try their pizza. My husband ordered chilaquiles from Mijo and said they were delicious. Everything we ordered came out in a very timely manner. The staff we encountered were friendly, and our plates and drink cups were always cleared fast. It was not very busy at 10:30 AM for brunch, but was definitely starting to pick up when we left around noon. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!

Yelp
This food hall, designed and operated by the same owners of Bakery Square, is beautifully designed and decorated. It is quite a bit smaller than Bakery Square, and for me, at least, seemed to be still finding its footing on the day I visited. One of the restaurants was also in the process of changing over and while a menu was visible -- it noted "coming soon." The food choices here are a bit more limited than in Bakery Square, but this is a convenient place to visit if you are going to the children's museum or if you work in the area. I actually walked to the Deutschtown area around lunch and wasn't impressed with the offerings and availability on a weekday, so try it out here. You probably will find it a relaxing place to be. A bonus is that throughout the summer there are free music performances just outside of the building (where there also is a lot of outdoor seating available) on Thursdays at lunchtime.
google avatar

Krista Z.

Yelp
very cool kitchen concept establishment that we stopped at prior to going to an event at PNC (short walk). Love the concept if what they do here - many smaller restaurants in one place - so everyone has a variety. we got lucky and found a table during busy time - scan the bar code at the table to access the menu or walk around to each and look/order. they will bring to you so know ur table number. we got some food from Driven (pizza) and Given to Fly (chicken). Pizza, zucchini and mozzarella halves from Driven and KBBQ tenders from Given to Fly. Everything was really good - so much food we could not finish it all! Note - parking is a little hard to find especially with an event.

Yelp
Federal galley has a great happy hour! I've got their aperol spritz and it's refreshing. They have multiple food restaurants within here. I've gotten the shrimp tacos... YUM!
google avatar

Bill J.

Yelp
Wonderful place to try start up restaurants! This set up offers a nice variety of cuisine from different vendors. On this visit we got House -Fried Shrimp from Salute Pub Fare, and a Traci Detroit style pizza from Driven PGH. Both were delicious. There are also other vendors such as Shaka (oriental options), and cocktails and beverages from the Bar. Great food and pretty fast service for all the made-to-order selections.

Yelp
Love the vibe at Federal Galley. Every time I am there, there is something different to try. I was dying to try Given to Fly after stalking Troy Beck on Instagram during the pandemic. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The Nashville chicken sando was as close as I've had to Hattie B's in Nash. It was so good and spicy, but not too hot. I can't wait to drag boyfriend down next weekend to get something different!
google avatar

Lisa H.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the patio dining was really nice. Inside was crowded but I expected that. Will return!

Lauren T.

Yelp
Federal Galley is a great choice for a number of scenarios but my favorites are for happy hour, and when my S.O. and I or any type of group are craving different things. Everyone can get something they're in the mood for and everyone wins. From southern comfort food, to Asian or pizza, every restaurant concept serves up something tasty and fresh. Back to happy hour...in my opinion Federal Galley has one of the best in the city. The bartenders crank out the drinks like clockwork and you can get a delicious glass of wine for $4-5, beers for $2-3. Happy hour is 4:30-6:30 most days of the week.
google avatar

Samantha R.

Yelp
I will admit that my expectations for Federal Galley were high because I LOVE Galley Bakery Square. I made the false assumption that the quality of food would be the same. Maybe we ordered the wrong food, but I was really disappointed by this entire experience. I ordered "The Burger" because I was intrigued by the extensive ingredient list. At first, the burger was delicious - creamy and flavorful, but after a while it didn't taste good. The meat felt chewy and low-quality and the cheddar cheese curds at the bottom were crunchy when they shouldn't have been. The creaminess of the toppings on the burger overwhelmed the overall taste and made you aware that the cut of burger was not very good, nor were the toppings. The lemongrass curry ramen was just okay. To be honest the sauce tasted like something I have bought from Trader Joe's. It was hard to not compare it to the lemongrass curry at Galley Bakery Square that is complex and delicious in flavor and substance. I ordered a hard seltzer and my partner ordered a stout. Both were just okay. I will probably go back to try the Detroit pizza because I have heard good things, and maybe try a few other items on the menu to give it a second chance, but overall, not the best experience.

Yelp
Diverse / tail gate / relaxed I got a poke bowl that had shrimp tempura, edamame, pickled vegetables and rice. LOVED IT. my husband tried to get a pizza but the cashier was very rude and told him to get out of the line and look up his table number if he wants to put in a table order after waiting a while in line. So he ended up getting chicken teriyaki tacos and was happy with that! My husband got the flying fish double IPA and that really hit the spot. * note that it is important to know your table number before going. * they have water, cups and silverware around the restaurant that you can get for yourself

Yelp
Cute place. Lots of outdoor seating. Parking is pretty easy, either on street or in the parking garage. However, they're clearly understaffed. We ordered two rounds of drinks, first round took about 20 min. Second round has taken over 30 minutes and we still haven't gotten them... UPDATE: I did add an additional star because a busser was able to have a manager refund 2 of our drinks due to the wait.

Yelp
The place is nice with a good vibe. It is spacious and good for a large group. Had the wings from Given to Fly. When delivered to the table they were WAY overcooked. Couldn't eat them they were so dry. Took them back and they kindly replaced them. When I got the second order - same thing. I would not recommend this place.

Yelp
Federal Galley is one of my favorite kitchen concepts! The rotating & changing restaurants are always really good but something that is constant is the bar, cleanliness of the place & overall service from employees. This time, I had a poke bowl from Shaka. Omg! So fresh & quality ingredients, it was delicious! Smoked salmon, roe, edamame, chickpeas, pickled veggies, spicy mayo, and I added avocado. I'm still thinking about it. The service is really fast from all of the restaurants, even during busy times! I will say the pricing is on the more expensive side but I get it with all of the inflation we're seeing. Doesn't stop me from going!!

Yelp
Yet another great visit! With their spacious dining area and long tables it's a great space to choose when you aren't sure how large your group is going to be (although if you're having a party definitely contact the business so they can better accommodate your needs! With how good their restaurants and bar is they are often pretty poppin'). I always end up ordering from several or all of the restaurants because their food is too good to just pick one meal. All of the staff have always been swift and efficient with friendly demeanors. Don't forget to show love and tip!

Yelp
We sat on the table and ordered with QR code from the table. Food took some time to arrive since it's lunch rush hour. Food was too salty. The place was clean and well lit. This was more like a self service food hall with choices of 4 restaurants, bar & beer garden. Spicy salmon poke bowl Grilled huli huli chicken rice bowl & greens Loco Moco Hawaiian pulled pork rice bowl
