Femme Bar

I'm so so so glad that I have such a great spot for evening dinner and mocktails so close to home! Their food and drinks are AMAZING, their staff are very nice, and the atmosphere is fantastic!! I'm excited to make it a regular spot to visit. Prices were very reasonable as well!

Femme is amazing in every way—from the artsy, welcoming vibe created by its pink lighting and stylish decor, to the creative, delicious drinks that I had trouble choosing between! The food is unexpectedly excellent, far better than your typical bar fare, and the space includes thoughtful touches like a mini library. The staff is warm and attentive, and the events are vibrant and original, such as the book club. It’s truly a gem in the city —highly recommended!!

Unexpected delight. The queens did not disappoint. Food, yum! Atmosphere was queer and diverse, wish it wasn't an hour and a half from me but was worth the trip to feel comfortable in my community. Music was good and the vibe was love is love! Great date place. Will be back!

Excellent queer scene! Great drinks, food (dip trio!) and service. Mostly gay ladies but all LGBTQIA+ and allies welcome. Weekly activities, live music, community events. Plenty of flat lot and street parking nearby. We are #blessed that Femme Bar made Worcester its home.

Went on Sunday for brunch. It’s such an inviting atmosphere. Everyone there is so nice. I ordered scrambled eggs that came with a waffle and as a side I ordered “veggie hash”. The veggie hash was delicious but the eggs were a little overdone and the waffle was dry. The “Serotonin” mocktail was DELICIOUS. I would definitely go back and maybe just order the hash but I also would love to try the flat breads they listed for lunch!

The drought is over! A lesbian bar is in New England!! The space is vibrant and welcoming and also very busy! Plan to arrive early if you’re on a time crunch and know that Fem is popular for a reason and it’s the place to be! The food is good and the drinks are tasty! That being said the kitchen can get backed up and it can take a little while to get food which is expected. Once you’ve got the food it’s worth the wait! There are ample mocktail, vegetarian, and vegan options— with meat substitutes, too!!

Today was my first time at Femme and, definitely going back. My friend and I had a blast at Drag Bingo. Food and drinks were awesome. Service was fantastic and a great atmosphere. Love the decor!

We are from NH but had an event to attend at the DCU center and decided to stop in for a drink and some food. It did no disappoint. The food was delicious, the vibe is relaxing and inviting and the service was great. We will definitely be back

The drinks and food were very good. I went in a Friday night and stayed 6pm-8pm. The crowed was low at first but began to pick up as the night went on. I'd definitely recommend coming later if you enjoy a crowd. My favorite part is the safe atmosphere. It's well lit and parking isn't too far away for a quick walk. The staff are also all amazing. Update: I came back for a girls night. Was amazing again. The drinks and food were amazing. The pesto pepperoni was to die for.

It was such an honor to visit one of the only lesbian bars in the country. I've been looking forward to a night out at Femme Bar for quite some time & the experience did not disappoint. I rode 90 minutes to check it out & I'd definitely do it again. From the moment we entered, we knew we were in for a good night. Everything about Femme Bar is thoughtfully designed to be fun & friendly. From the bright pink bar stools to the gender neutral bathroom to portraits of the Golden Girls hanging on the wall, it was all just so good. I wish the owners endless success, joy, & prosperity. Thank you for creating a space within our community that's catered toward queer women but also welcoming towards the entire LGBTQ+ crowd. Also - cauliflower crust flatbreads? Amazing.

As a vegan leaning lesbian couple, it's no surprise to me whatsoever that immediately after moving out of Worcester, multiple vegan spots and a seemingly amazing lesbian bar open up. As soon as I became privy to this information, GF and I made a mental note to add visiting this spot to the good old bucket list. The opportunity arose during a recent visit to Worcester. We came with a few friends and were instantly impressed by the decor, ambiance, and overall vibe. Neon pink is really the best way to summarize. The few staff members we interacted with were extremely welcoming, friendly, nice, and provided really wonderful recommendations. Their drink menu checks out with previously mentioned vibe. I ordered the girl of my dreams with tequila, lime, pink lemonade, Prosecco, and pink rock candy. BTW I would recommend removing the pink rock candy because I neglected to do this in the interest of admiring it in my glass but it could've taken an eye out when, mid-sip, it rolled off the glass rim and into my face. I felt like I had to order the "Becky's so hot" with (tequila, lime, pineapple, jalapeños) but ultimately it felt more appropriate for GF to have the honor. Our other co-patron ordered the "call your girlfriend" with gin, lemon, basil, cucumber but actually received something with bourbon. As soon as this mistake was brought to the bartender's attention she graciously provided the correct cocktail and left that one for us. I took one for the team and took care of it. Every drink was spectacular. It seems like they have a lot of really cool events on certain days of the week which is probably fun depending on what you're into. This place is awesome, I wish it was opened while we lived here.

We will definitely be back. The music was awesome and it was such a welcoming vibe. We needed to wait a bit for drinks, but that's expected on a Friday night in a place that's hoppin! People working there are friendly and kind. Next review will likely have food pictures!

Service and vibes are P E R F E C T! I've never been able to walk into a bar and immediately feel comfortable and at ease... the fabulous bartenders and servers are the perfect balance of warm and welcoming without being all in your business. Had a glass of wine, an espresso martini called Sex with my Ex, and the three-dip appetizer. Food was just okay, but I'll try more options next time too. Great conversation with other customers and overall a really fun night. Coming back!

A group of us drove from different parts of CT (60-90 min) to see what all the hype was about. We are so glad we did. We had a blast. It was wonderful walking into a bar that was very clearly thinking about who they were trying to attract. They had a great playlist of music spanning multiple decades and queer programming on the TVs. There was a range of ages too, so no matter who you are looking to connect with you'll find them in this environment. They have a great tap list that includes IPAs and sours, and my friends loved the drink menu. They had great food too. We did the triple dipper that had the best made pita bread - honestly, no idea what they did but it was delicious. We also had the chicken sandwich and pesto pepperoni flatbread which was also fantastic. Overall, we are happy we made the drive and will absolutely go back again. Connecticut needs a cool bar like this!

I was SO excited to visit Femme for the first time in their second Friday open and I was NOT disappointed! Got there around 9:30 and the place was packed with so much mingling happening! I can honestly say I've never felt safer or more welcomed at a bar anywhere, the drinks were well made, the decor was subtle but perfect...i could go on and on but long story short this is the queer space women of the lgbtq+ community have been waiting for and i cannot wait to go back next weekend

Literally perfect, totally iconic. Well-balanced and unique drinks, priced well. It's a godsend and an honor to host New England's only lesbian bar and we are so lucky for it. Food looked amazing and they sent things out in good time, all to perfect temperature. The aesthete is cute, the bartenders, servers, and owners are professional, kind, and communicative, and I can't wait to go back!!

Very cool and unique new bar in an area that could use a little revitalization. Also nice to see a spot that is inclusive while still being a queer space. Food was great, bartenders friendly, and the drinks were the best. Finally a bar that carries sours that don't absolutely suck. Awesome addition to the city.

Went to Femme Friday night with my partner to Check it out. Right when you walk in it's a nice ambience and I liked the vibes and decor! The drinks weren't great 1out of the 3 drinks I tried were good which was the Cranberry Mule. The fries were pretty good and the bbq flatbread was decent as well as the spicy stir fry although the rice could improve. Overall it was a nice time and I'd recommend checking it out. Staff were nice as well.

The food here was amazing! I loved the atmosphere, live music and the staff. I wasn't totally in love with the drinks, that was the downside. They look pretty but didn't love the taste but I am really picky when it comes to alcoholic drinks. All in all I loved it and would definitely go back!

Tried to go here with my cousin who was trying to meet someone. We were with her brother and they denied us entry. They gave some shit answer about having out of state ID's but it was clear they just didn't want us in their bar. Don't bother.

The vibes are impeccable!! It's so beautiful inside, the decor is very cool. The staff was really friendly. The drinks were awesome and reasonably priced. It was such a fun night and I'm so grateful that there's a queer bar in Worcester/ Boston area! (Also mocktail options which is just super inclusive.)

One of the best environments I've seen in a long time. Nothing but smiles and positivity and lots of conversations with new people! The food was beyond my expectations, I definitely suggest the chicken sandwich and fried pickles!!

Have been looking forward to checking out Femme since it opened, and I'm glad we finally did. We had the Triple Dip, Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, Funnel Fries, and Chocolate Lips with Peanut Butter. For drinks we had Girl of My Dreams, Becky's So Hot, and Sex With My Ex. The food was creative, well presented, and delicious, with the exception of the chocolate lips. I wouldn't recommend those - very ordinary and a bit bland. Maybe if they were dark chocolate? The drinks were fabulous as well. The bartender was really personable and attentive without hovering. The downsides for us were the chairs - the pink, plastic stools gave off a cheap vibe, and though they are catering to a broad range of customers, we didn't need 2 solid hours of RuPaul's Drag Race and the Golden Girls. Maybe some sports or the news for a bit? Pretty much anything else would be a nice break. Best of luck with this new endeavor!
