The Best Beer Places To Impress Out-Of-Towners - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Everyone will find something to do at this 80-acre property on the Upper Westside. Start with a cold one from the 50-barrel Dr. Scofflaw Lab brewery—they brew a sh!tload of popular IPAs, plus great stouts, sours, and adult slushies—and then it’s all retail, entertainment, and restaurants from there. There is also a full bar in The Works’ expansive food hall, which sells everything from cubanos to crab fries. The newest addition to the complex—the futuristic Your Third Spot—is a 26K-square-foot, multilevel dining, gaming, and beer garden combo that makes Dave and Busters look like bingo night at a senior home." - dennis malcolm byron

Fetch is a great park for dogs…and humans! The staff are friendly; and the establishment has unique events with live entertainment throughout the month, and they have several tvs to keep the dog owners entertained and a bar with great staff too.

My dog got bit yesterday (11/15) around noon & had to be taken to urgent care vet to get stitches. Management said they would reach out to us with the contact information of the other dog owner, but no communication has come in a full 24 hours. There is no phone number or easy way to contact Fetch, so we ended up going in today (11/16) to get an update, only for the manager on staff to say that there's nothing he could do at the time due to the footage received yesterday not being the correct footage of the incident (?). We've tried reaching out to them on Facebook & Instagram both and still haven't heard anything, so hopefully this gets some notice from someone able to help. We filled out the cancellation form while at the urgent care vet yesterday & just saw a pending charge for another month of Fetch membership on my bank statement, I've asked for that to be removed as well, but we will see if that happens. Before this we've had good interactions with the staff at Fetch, so it's surprising to us to see this happening. This is one of two bites that have happened at this location within the last two months. The first bite which we did not report (definitely should for record keeping sake) happened October 3rd around 5-530PM. The second bite happened November 15 at around noon. Fetch has cost us $800 in vet bills alone. Our dog does not play with other dogs, & mainly likes to play fetch & run around. These bites were unprovoked & caused by dogs who I guess don't like other dogs running near them? The concept of this park is great, but clearly there needs to be some sort of filtering to avoid letting dogs that cause these bites inside. I would not recommend this place to any dog owner. Will update this review once (if) we hear back from Fetch.

Awesome dog park where you and your pup can live your best life! Full beer and liquor bar, lots of seating, sprinklers, tubs for dogs to swim, huge projection tv for the games, and unlimited doggie bags.

We love fetch! My pup Odie and I are regulars. It’s an awesome spot for pups to play, and for owners to relax. The woof wardens do a great job mediating the pups, so owners can just hangout. You can tell how much they love their jobs! Trivia night is awesome too!

Google
I’ll start by saying that my dog and I both love Fetch at The Works. We have been coming to Fetch at The Works since it opened, and it is hands down one of my dog’s favorite places to be. The Works is my favorite location to bring him as it is both convenient and the employees at this location are wonderful (5 stars for them!). All of this makes it even more frustrating to be writing this review. My negative review comes from the fact that this location has suddenly and dramatically changed their hours. To make this change and give less than a week of notice to customers is crazy. To my knowledge, there has been no official message sent out via the app, email, or social media. In addition to that, there wasn’t even a sign with the new hours outside the park this morning (one was added this afternoon). I work across the street, and had to inform a few sad customers of the unfortunate change before the sign was added. I only knew about this change through word of mouth, which is very unprofessional in my opinion. Now I have paid for my dog’s membership for a service we cannot use as we intended. I have to tell my dog he cannot go play and he does not understand why. Overall, I am very disappointed with Fetch and would like to see them reconsider this decision.

Been to 4 Fetch locations (O4W, Buckhead, Alpharetta, and The Works). The Works might be the best one, but parking is horrible in the evening and weekends!! Great staff and very large areas for the pups to run in! Love the concept and everything! Only downside is the pride for drinks. Two draft beers $23ish, a CAN of coke $4.50, a can of wine $15. Drink prices are insane!

Google
The best and so happy there is a Fetch in westside!! Everyone that works here is attentive and loves all dogs. It is kept clean, always tennis balls, and the best bartender is Nick, and everyone else!! Great customer service. Lovely dogs, I can’t say enough good things! Bring your furry loved one :) don’t walk, run!

Google
This is a great park and my dog loves it! Compared to the other locations, the hours are weird, and the drinks are so expensive. Minus the 2 valid complaints this place is great and still worth 4 stars. It would be cool to see better communication around the closures/hours and market price drinks.

Yelp
It's genuinely not worth the time and effort. I've never heard of something as ridiculous as charging to use a park. On top of that you need to walk around with their vaccine papers and if you choose not to spay or neuter it's an issue. Genuinely don't understand why this business is running. The area is nice though.

Yelp
This may be my favorite Fetch location. I like that it has two sides. The side farthest away from the entrance is usually the busiest while the side closest to the entrance only has a few pups. I visited this location a handful of times when I purchased the month pass. Like every location they have events I.e. bingo and karaoke. I found this location to be the cleanest. The staff are all friendly. My last visit I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick. When we crossed over the bridge Patrick introduced himself and his sweet Golden (she was actually red). Patrick could not have been nicer. He answered my questions and was very personable. I noticed he also did the same with other guests that came on that side. He's definitely an asset to Fetch. If you have never been to Fetch I would highly recommend this location. Your pup(s) will thank you.

Yelp
We absolutely love Fetch and so does Murphy!! It is such a great spot to go work during the day, grab a drink in the afternoon, or just let your dog get his/her energy out! You will love fetch as much as we do I guarantee. If you go a lot the membership is worth it! I got one when they are doing a special and it was $40 off so look out for that!

Yelp
I'm writing this review because I'm annoyed by the way they handled everything on Halloween night. The white woman with the blonde hair is rude to the point where we requested a manager. Literally shrugging her shoulders when we talked to her. The so called manager let her lead the conversation which doesn't even make sense. If you're a manager, be a manager. Why would you ever let the woman we were dissatisfied with continue to talk to us?! My friend and I were very disgruntled with how they handled the situation. She had updated vaccination records but it wasn't enough for them. There was another woman there who was turned away as well. I also don't even know when it transitioned from $10 per dog to $15 per dog. I have 2. No way it's worth $30 for entry. If you're gonna change prices, let us know. Also, the app said the Halloween party was on the 30th when it was actually on Halloween day, the 31st. I only realized this after my friend saw the correct date on Instagram. Not the first time there was an event listed on the app that was not actually happening on said day. Get it together! We won't be back!

Yelp
A new addition to the Fetch family. If you have frequented the O4W location... this is much more tame. I love that the systems are connected and if you are a "member" you check in as usual. This location is two part... the entrance is on the ground level on the back side of The Works parking deck and the main section up the stairs and over a short pedestrian bridge. The bar is on the main level, when the popularity picks up I anticipate the smaller bar cart serving drinks. There is a splash zone like at the other locations, giant TV screen, background music, and REAL BATHROOMS. Tons of human seating, heat lamps, tables, covered seating, and fans.

Yelp
If I could give 3.5, I would. New to the area, and Fetch @ The Works is close (less than 4 miles), free 2 hour parking in the garage, place is clean, staff is mostly great. Had some issues with the app not checking us in, and unbeknownst to me, it was our third visit before an employee shared that they needed to verify. I'm not sure why that wasn't communicated on our first or second visit, but that's not for me to decide. It works now! There are a couple people (with dogs) whom I've seen 2/3 times there who are not nice and don't like their dog to play with others. Ummmmm... you're in a DOG PARK! Some dogs bark when they play, some don't. Doesn't mean the other dogs are aggressive, but this one dude is OVER the top and makes it uncomfortable to other guests with his glares and holding his dogs collar to keep it away from other dogs. Weird. And I'm aware this critique is not at all a Fetch critique, I'm just sharing for others. As for this location, it would be amazing if they could add more shade coverage, even if it's temporary, or remote awnings, for when it gets hot, so that the turf temperatures don't get so high for the puppers. Another suggestion (and I don't know if they don't do this), but if the jumbo screen would have audio for games vs silent screen, and always music playing on the speakers, that would be cool. Lastly, and I don't know if this is possible with their permits, but to have a second beverage trailer in the back lawn would be awesome, and potentially more profit to the park. Win-win! Of course we will be back, and thanks for the opportunity to review!

Yelp
I am giving this place four stars because it's too early to tell but based on my dog and my first experience last night, it was great. Clean, and comfortable for humans. My dog had a ball.........

Chapman L.

Yelp
Wouldn't accept my dogs proof of insurance that included my vet's signature. Dude thinks he's a vet
