My partner and I visited Fete during our vacation passing through Boston, and the experience started off incredibly strong. The food was absolutely immaculat, rich flavors, great portions, and beautifully presented. We arrived during happy hour and ordered the Jerk Lamb Chops and Honey Biscuits to start, both of which were standout dishes and set the vibe for what we expected to be a top tier dining experience. For entrées, my partner got the Oxtail with rice & peas, tostone/plaintain, and a side of spiced peppers, and I had the Red Snapper with rice & peas, tostone, and mixed peppers. Both meals were flavorful, authentic, and cooked perfectly. We also tried two cocktails — the Better Fashion for me and the LaLa Land for my partner — both were well-balanced and very enjoyable. Where the night dipped was the service toward the end. Things had been going smoothly, but the quality of attention dropped off significantly to the point where I had to go look for my server myself, which definitely took away from the overall experience. It wasn’t enough to ruin the night, but it was disappointing considering how strong everything began. Overall, Fete delivers amazing food and great drinks, but the inconsistency in service keeps it at a 3.9-star rating for us. With a little more attentiveness, this place would easily be a 5 star spot.

I went here for the first time last week and this is the best black restaurant I’ve ever been to by far, I had Honey Lemon Pepper Butter Wings, Rasta Pasta, and a Haitian Piña Colada that gave my tastebuds an experience they’ll never forget. Also the interior of the place and vibes it gives just makes it stand out perfectly from other restaurants. In addition to what I said in the past, here are pictures of the food and drinks I ate and drunk during first time over there and times after that as well, like I said before this is the best Black Restaurant I ever been to.

We had a great time at Fete on Kingston celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday! The food was very good, drinks were amazing, and the customer service deserves recognition. Our waiter, Isaam, was super friendly and paid attention to every detail. He definitely made our night more special!!!

Amazing food and drinks. Everything on the menu is top tier. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they basically allow kids to do whatever they want. There were kids doing gymnastics right in front of my table. The music was also super loud I couldn’t even hear the waitress. She eventually got the DJ to turn it down. Also, the restrooms were disgusting.

My experience at Fete was AWESOME, the lamb chops were super good and you can tell the food is made with a lot of love :) My bartender Bria was AMAZING. I never know what to order but she referred some really good drinks that was hands down 10 out of 10. Posted my meal and everyone wanted to know the 411. Definitely will be going back!!

I stopped in here the night before Halloween and loved the Pork griot! The pickliz had just the right amount of spice and the rice, beans, pork and plantains had so much flavor! The place has a really cool vibe and the service was amazing! The bar tenders were super friendly, talkative and attentive! I definitely want to check this place out for brunch and maybe one of their karaoke nights!

Sooo good!! Took my daughter there for lunch and got the lamb chop app, corn and shrimp dip, Mac and cheese, and THE BEST oxtail grilled cheese! Our server Isam was super friendly and attentive without hovering. Can’t wait to go back!!

The vibe was great here. We had an early (7pm) dinner on a Friday and while the restaurant was quite empty the waiter let us know they were out of Steak and honey biscuits. Very disheartening for us. We order a variety of items. All of the apps were tasty with the oxtail grilled cheese being the best. The pinchos was good but very very salty. The entrees were a different story. The Rasta pasta was not good. No flavor, the best part was the amount of shrimp you received. They messed up 2 of my friends entrees but the waiter was so nice and apologetic. Drinks were tasty. My friend was sure to say that this was a different experience than she had when she came previously. Hoping we just caught them on a bad night.

it was such a great experience I had fun and the service was amazing. Especially the waiters Mina and Luisa they accomodated me whenever I needed anything. Whenever I went to the bar Rich the bartender was so precise and he didn't take too long to get to me at the bar. Love that place

It depends what you are coming here for. We came here on a Saturday night about 9pm , just missed the dinner menu I guess so we had the late night menu. Which was unfortunate because we were actually hungry lol. So this place use to be a lounge/club before the remake. It's the SAME exact vibe. I went with 2 of my close friends but this is not the place to have a conversation since music is loud( and I'm not an old person complaining about noise lol) music was good tho. Food was tasty but the PRICE???? gratuity included for inattentive service. $32 for 3-4 skimpy lamb chops. . My friend didn't get half her meal (which was just another app) until we had to wave down one of the servers. And the same for the drinks. I would come here again as last resort but just to be by the bar to dance to music not for the food. $231 for three people Just another place to look "aesthetically cool"

Overview: solid food, ok ambiance, service needs improvements. Wagyu burger(4/5) presentation A+ Snapper burger (4.5/5) Jerk lamb chops (5/5) insanely good! Go a to go order too! Wings (3.5/5) had the henny sauce and lemon pepper sauce for dipping Shrimp and calamari (4/5) shrimp was amazing l, calamari was ok Old fashioned (3.5/5) delicious but not that strong The service started off ok but went downhill fast even though it wasn't busy at 6pm on a Saturday. Auto 20% tip even though we were just a party of 2. It sucks to wait on your waitress for a long time just to see her hanging out with people relaxing. It was kind of cold in there given its December in Boston and when they turned on the AC all the tables looked around at each other like why put on the AC. Music volume and TVs staying in didn't stay consistent. The food definitely carried my review/opinion they have to invest in ambiance and customer service a but more.

This place is beyond rude. First they tried to overcharge me for a drink that I didn't order... bartender tried to hide the bottle. Then another night they attempted to upcharge me for an admission fee for the last 45 min. The door man was an older maybe Hispanic or CV man... extremely rude and waved his hand to me like I was a peasant.

This has has to be the best restaurant I visited this year. The staff were great from the start with the security who checked my ID upon arrival. I was seated immediately for my 7:30 reservation. From outside I was not expecting the restaurant to be spacious and aesthetically pleasing. I believe there were two bars and I loved the red lighting. There were tevelsions and a dj. From reading other reviews I was worried the music would be extremely loud, however, I was to carry normal dinner conversation. The music selections ranged with a cool mellow vibe until about 9pm. That's when I notice a shift in music which was pop/hip hop. People started singing to the music so it appeared loud but honestly was a vibe! I feel like my table ordered the whole left side of the menu! The tapas were so good we a second round. My favorite was the honey garlic shrimp which was sweet, spicy, and had nice char on the shrimp. Not far behind was the salt and pepper shrimp calamari. This dish crunky and flavorful. I was completed amazed by the vegetable ragoon. Jerk Lamb Chops were tender and juicy. The jerk flavor was good with a manageable spice level. Itwas just enough to be jerk without being overbearing. Crab cakes were delicious. I appreciated the amount of sauce that was provided. Our waitress Steph was patient and made great recommendations. I was there celebrating a friend's birthday. Just when I thought my waitress forgot about the birthday celebration the music changed to a birthday song proceeded by the staff making an entrance with a birthday dessert as if it were bottle service. This was such a fun moment! Each time I received a drink, even if it was the same drink, it came in a different glass. Still delicious! There was an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill which was a party of four. The service was great so this was not a bother. Thanks Steph!

I came across the restaurant on tik-tok and was super excited to try it out based off the food presentation and beautiful restaurant. Both still stand true but the food was a let down taste wise. I had ordered the lobster roll and it was not appetizing what so ever and ended up not finishing it which was disappointing because I love lobster rolls. Aside from the food being bland, the menu seemed inconsistent and didn't really have a theme. I'm assuming since the restaurant is really new they are still figuring things out which is fine but would have been nice if the menu had a consistent theme and more options for food. Rating this a three star experience based off the fact that my friend and I were rushed to eat due to them being overbooked. Right from the start, it was clear that the service here was in a hurry. The waiters seemed way too overwhelmed, and they made sure we knew it. We were constantly reminded to hurry which created this weird, tense vibe that didn't sit well with us. It felt like they cared more about rushing us out the door than making sure we had a good time. If I come back I probably won't order the food again so I recommend just sticking to drinks. Ambiance was nice up until they had really loud music which made it hard to talk over.

Overall rating: NOT AUTHENTIC 2 STARS Food: amazing cocktails but there is nothing Haitian about the food, I went with 5 other Haitians so they can vouch for me the spaghetti was oily and spicy (the closest thing to Haitian food) the chicken, crab ragoon, and lamb were not Haitian Texture: crispy chicken but it lacked flavor and heat Pricing: $16 for cocktails and appetizers ranged from $13-16, entrees were from $19-30 Ambiance: The ambiance very red, the lighting is dark with mainly the bar being lit up and red lights here and there Felt like I was in Amsterdam Seating & Parking: a few street parking spots, plenty of seating by the window, bar, and back rooms Service: the service was great they were welcoming, the bodyguards/ security were a bit unsettling Music: rnb, afro beats Bathrooms: women and men bathrooms in the back Final comments: "great cocktail BUT WHERE IS THE HAITIAN??" :my friend Denise

Food was well cooked and seasoned. The atmosphere is cool, medium lighting which is perfect for me because I hate lights. The music was a cool mix of different genres. I had a nice time. The drinks was ok but too pricey for me, $23 for a shot is a lot.

The food was really good and music and vibe made it a cool atmosphere. The only downside is that we weren't told ahead of time that there's a required 20% gratuity fee on meals and if you want to split a check, you have to do the math and tell them the numbers yourself. We were only 3 people so I was surprised to see the gratuity fee, but I enjoyed everything else. My friend got a free cheesecake for her birthday so that topped our night a bit :)

Great Ambience love the food the service was lit . Haitian Inspired taste and flavor. Waiters were nice and professional no attitudes.

I love this place, I ended up going there 3 weekends in a row. The food is amazing, the bartenders are pretty nice. Security is rude though. It's nice inside and the music is always good! Highly recommend.

Came here for my bday and had a great experience for brunch. We engaged with one of the managers / owners who showed us great customer service. We all enjoyed our food (lamb chops, wings / waffles, and the pitcher of drinks were the stars). Def check out Fete when you're in Boston! The only thing I'd say is to update the hours on the yelp page.

The food was good! The drinks were a bit pricey! I ordered a mocktail and it ended up being 13/14$ but my friend got regular cocktail for $18. Mocktails should not be more than $10, especially since it's just juice lol The vibes were immaculate and it was fun though!

Last night was my first time here. I won't say it was bad, but I wouldn't call it excellent either. Fete touts itself as a Haitian restaurant. There wasn't a plethora of Haitian dishes on the menu. Maybe the Zo-spaghetti. But the most popular menu item were the Jerk Lamb Chops. Jerk seasoning is obviously a Jamaican food item. So there's that. I ordered the honey garlic shrimp, these shrimp are excellent. Get a double order. Mac and Cheese was hit or miss. Mine wasn't burnt, but everyone else's was. The drinks were decent enough, heavy pours from the bar. So you will get lit with ease. And for $20 a pop? You should be. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress was very busy and sometimes a bit slow to return to our table. They do have a good DJ and the restaurant pretty much turns into a club after 11pm. It's not a bad place, but the experience didn't leave me wondering when I'll return. I know I won't be.

Tonight was smooth & a nice vibe! Kelsey recommended the purse drink which came out smoking & she also made sure we were sat at a table promptly after arriving. Our server Pamela was 10/10. Pamela was attentive all the while serving a big party and our table at the same time!Thank you Fete for the amazing late night snacks (lamb chops and shrimp). Everything was great and music was 10/10, so shout out to the DJ tonight.

Had a good tapas night.. minus one of the servers being super tipsy! The vibe and music was a great touch to the night.

So instead of properly responding to a customer that was inconvenienced by you.. you restrict it so my comment cannot be seen on your social media so instead I'm going to leave reviews where I can because you will not silence me .I called left a voicemail, confirmed via text to show up to a sign that you were closed. I didn't receive a call, text or email nor did you post your closing on social media. Understandably life happens but as a business you have an obligation to communicate someway with your customers. Finding a place last minute for a birthday dinner for 10 on a Saturday in Boston is impossible. We all said well maybe something happened but still no communication and that was on 4/13. You have lost MANY repeat customers not due to life happening but due to your ignorance in follow up and lack of customer service.

The food was amazing!! Priced accurate for the quality. Music was fun and made me want to dance all night. Our server, Stephanie C, was attentive, kind and always made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you like a lowkey, yet fun atmosphere!! Will come again.

Spent the night in Boston yesterday as apart if the road trip I'm currently on. My sister saw an instagram post about this place and decided to make a reservation since we weren't able to make the one we had for Park 54. The place is beautiful, which gives it a good vibe. However, that's where it stops. Once we were seated, it went downhill. Although the waitress was nice, she was not attentive. It took a while for her to take our drink order and double the time to take our food order. I guess this place also serves as a lounge as well because they stop serving food after a certain time. We got there at 9PM (time of our reservation) and it took her a while to even approach us. She made sure to let us know the kitchen was stopping food at 9:45 which caught us by surprise because she didn't take our food order until about 9:30 and we kindly let her know we had been ready to order but was waiting on her. When the drinks finally arrived, there was hair in my sisters glass so she had it sent back and had to wait yet again for another. We waited for so long for our food as well. A couple who was seated about 20 minutes after us got their food before ours. When the food finally came out, it came out separately. My sisters came out first. We all ordered the jerk lamb chops but she had a side of mac & cheese. I won't lie, the lamb chops were sooo good! However she said the mac & cheese was horrible. Its made with ziti noodles lol the other orders od lamb chops came about 7 minutes later. Not going to lie, I was so hungry from waiting I quickly ate them before even taking a picture. It was only 4 chops so once they hit the table, they were gone in 2.2 seconds lol. I had also ordered the grilled oysters which came out about 15 minutes after my lamb chops arrived and after seeing and trying one of them, I wish they never came out at all. They were HORRIBLE. They had the grated cheese on top you use for spaghetti and it was hard. I ate two but was so turned off I couldn't finish. There were still 4 left. When our waitress came back over, I told her how bad they were. She just smiled and said sorry. At that point we were so ready to go, so we asked for the check. The oysters were still on the check, so my sister was going to try them. However, the waitress quickly grabbed them and the empty lamb chop plates off the table without asking if I was done. I get I said they were nasty but if I have to pay for them I should have option to take them as well. When she came back, I mentioned it to her and she said she's going to talk to the manager. She came back and said he toom half off, which was acceptable. To sum it all up, it seems like the lounge is priority over the restaurant. Would I return, NOPE. Boston has wayyy to much to offer to give Fete another chance. If anything, I'd get the lamb chops as take out lol

Let me start by saying a $25 reservation fee which is ridiculous. Second you get there on time and waited over 20 mins to be seated, finally get seated and only for a waitress to come over and say I'm not your waitress but I will see. Then on top of that by time a waitress comes over so that you can place your order you're told to make it quick because the kitchen will be closing soon. Ask for the manager who apologized but the damage was already done. To say the least the food was horrible, the service is trash and I would never recommend this establishment.

I went there to eat on a Thursday and they had a karaoke / game night going on. It was amazing! The food was great, and they also had a live musician for karaoke. It was an amazing experience!

I did not like the vibes in here. I think there were too many staff members for how slow the night was. We got espresso martinis and they were not good. They also put an automatic 20% tip on the check which is always fine but I feel like you should mention that.

Fete at Boston was just a great ambiance from the music, to the food to drinks and to the amazing staff who are nice and respectful. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice brunch spot.

Highly recommended. Stay was friendly, clean environment , strong tasty drinks. & the food, omg! The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection. I had the jerk lamb chops, they were so tender, wings were juicy, the shrimp seasoned to perfection, even the truffle fries, were fresh. I will be back again & again

Loved the vibes. Went there for my sisters bday for brunch. The food was amazing. Definitely would recommend the Jerk lamb chops and the Wings. Everything came out hot and tasty. Check it out . Definitely 10/10 for my first experience. Had great conversation with one of the owners. Treated us real nice and will definitely be back.

AMAZING food, service and atmosphere. Ate every bit of what was served. The owner came out and chatted with us and checked on our experience (which was amazing). The server was lovely and attentive. I had the lamb and filet, which were both delightful. Highly recommend!

I'm not even the type of person to leave reviews, but this place was so unorganized. I had reservations at 8:15 & didn't get a table till almost 10 . The manager with the braids didn't even care . The host named Sonia kept telling him about my group and he didn't even want to help . The when we finally was seated it took another 30 minutes to order then another 30 to even get our food and food was brought to us that we didn't even order and they tried to charge us . The food wasn't bad and the music was ok but the place was unorganized. The girls at the bar were nice .

Was excited to try this restaurant based off Tik Tok. I just think the music is super loud. We were seated but had to ask to be served. We did get quick service when we asked but hopefully they find a more effective system so that customers are serviced well. The food was ok.

Food was good, Christelle S gave us the best service, music was great. Drinks was delicious. . Overall everything was wonderful. A lit place to celebrate a birthday. I love this place

When we sat down for brunch the waitress named all the items they did not have in stock that day from the menu. "No salad, no seafood, no acai bowl " I think there was one more thing she named that I cant remember. We made a joke that it was practically the whole menu considering it is a limited menu and some items were seafood based. However, what we did end up ordering for food was good and it was a good portion of food. Drinks were average. Not too strong (I prefer strong) Brunch music was pretty lit. Overall I will be back.

I visited Fete on a birthday trip to Boston because I heard great things. I went on 1:00 pm on a Saturday and was highly disappointed that there was only a brunch menu available, which is completely different from their regular menu, which I was very excited to try. Their Hustle and Fete drink is delicious, and I had the bacon scallion waffles with hot honey chicken which was good. I really wish there was an Option to choose from the regular menu. The ambiance is nice and the music is also good. Service took a little longer than expected.

Great food, great atmosphere. Loved everybody, the waitress are very friendly. I had a problem and it was solved quickly. They take very pride in their food and the way they do things. My first coming here and i will be back. Thank you guys for the wonderful food and wonderful service!!! I will be back.

The food was delicious! We had the chicken and waffles with the honey garlic wings. The shrimp and grits were so tasteful. The service was on point! Natalie was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu! The vibe was everything. We loved the restaurant set up and they had a great playlist at lunch. Deff would recommend bringing your girls for a great time l!
