"If you’re looking for pho in the Valley, Feu Pho is simply where you go. Their small space on Ventura in Studio City is warm and welcoming, but if the night calls to sit on the couch and do nothing else, they also have a great delivery situation. You’re going to want the ribeye beef pho but their jidori chicken confit banh mi is worth looking into as well." - Brant Cox

The food was so delicious. The host was very attentive and friendly. The hostess gave us a complimentary appetizer for us to try which was quite tasty. I strongly recommend this place. I had a pho soup with oxtail and added beef meat balls for an additional $3, so much worth it. Unfortunately, they don't serve tripe.

What an amazing place! I was craving some "refreshing" food and this place was our best option close by. As soon as we entered, we were received so nicely, when we mentioned it was our first time we were recommended some dishes (shrimp spring rolls, egg fried rolls, boon) so we did order that. The egg fried rolls came with a delicious mint vinaigrette and the smoked pork belly Banh mi came with a basil vinaigrette out of this world! We loved this place, the food was really good (try their feu chicken dumplings) and the customer service/attention was on top, we were treated like friends/family. We cannot wait to come back and order some pho, our experience was awesome and didn't find anything we didn't like, at the end we ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee that was really good as well! I didn't finish my food, they packed it really good in a to go box and even gave me extra mint vinaigrette. I don't think it's pricey because to us, food was worth it.

Excellent broth, generous noodles and meat serving. Very fresh and delicious. Andy was very friendly and helpful and service was quick. Might just be my new Pho to spot... If you liked my review please give me a thumbs up 👍🏾 to let me know! Follow me for more fun reviews. 🙏🏾

Google
A great spot if you wish to enjoy a Pho. Nice service in a tiny place.

Google
Delicious and LEGIT Vietnamese food. Deep authentic flavors and the pho is cooked perfectly, not mushy like other places and the generous portions. Absolutely delicious and would come back again and again!

Oh my goodness, amazing! Such a tranquil atmosphere, and such delicious food I had to go for seconds! If your man ever needs some alone time after a long day, and you decide to take yourself on a date, this place is a great choice. My server was very friendly, efficient and got my order exact (even with all my little changes and requests) without needing a notepad. Highly recommend! (Forgot to take photos until halfway through seconds, I also had more dishes than pictured)

Google
Real authentic rich deep pho broth! Best I’ve ever tasted at a restaurant and i also got the shrimp spring rolls. I don’t know how they made the simple shrimp spring rolls taste so bomb, but it’s also the best spring rolls I’ve ever had as well!

Great service and delicious crab pho! The oxtail tacos and the spicy green beans are also fantastic. Affordable and tucked away in an unassuming strip mall.

Yelp
Wow, I've been coming here for over 9 years now. Still one of the very best pho places in SFV, even rivalling the creme de la creme spots in Westminster's Little Saigon area. My go to is the ribeye pho, with ribeye beef just melting in your mouth. The broth is very clean and flavorful and the noodles are soft, delicious and not sticking together. I add thai basil leaves on top, squeeze in 3 lime slices, throw in two jalapeno pieces and kick it up with hoisin and sriracha sauces and mix it up to reach tbat pho paradise boss level! In addition to pho, they have some amazing appetizers. Flash fried brussel sprouts are hands down bar none, truly the best in the game. However, today I tried a new app creation called smashed cucumber salad, which was really fresh and delicious. A plethora of flavor notes are hitting your mouth all at the same time. The ambiance of the place is casual-modern with some warm and cozy feelings, as pleasant jazz style music plays in the background. Their customer service is attentive and friendly. They make you feel very welcome, like you're family. Couldn't recommend this place more and will be back again real soon!

Yelp
We tried this place for the first time last week. I placed the order so that my husband could pick it up after work. The ordering system wasn't the best (I always try to order pickup directly from a restaurant's website if possible) and I never received a confirmation email, but they did charge my credit card. When he arrived to the restaurant 30 minutes later, the woman working at the restaurant didn't have our order or know anything about it, then she told him that "we just got the order right now" and he had to wait a little longer. The pho, however, was so delicious! We each ordered the ribeye pho, and I added extra veggies for $3 (mushrooms, broccoli and bok choy). The meat portion was VERY generous. I had enough of everything to make 3 meals. The broth was flavorful and complex. It was a little pricey at $20 each, but the portion size was worth it and I guess that's the deal for a Studio City restaurant. We'll be back!

Yelp
This is my go to pho place hands down. Their pho tastes like it actually can help you feel better if you're sick and give you some of that famous nutrients pho is supposed to have. The place is small and the staff aren't the friendliest but they're very busy and small and with food this good I'll come back every time. Would recommend always.

Courtney S.

Yelp
I can't believe I didn't review this place sooner. A local gem. Great service, the food is delicious and good portions. I really like the Jidori chicken bahn mi, the pork sausage bun and the brisket pho. Can't go wrong!

Jessie A.

Yelp
I had the oxtail pho which was excellent. Loved the flavor and the broth helped me feel cozy and helped me to feel emotionally better from a cold. The spring rolls with the tiger prawns were good, more lettuce than my liking but still good.

Debbie P.

Yelp
Really fresh veggies served with a delicious broth and tons of rice noodles. Service was quick and friendly. Strip mall parking can be tough. Asked for an additional order of chicken because there is not very much in the pho bowl and the tiny second order came over cooked and was rubbery.

Bita H.

Yelp
Delicious and comforting pho- cloudy days were made for it. I enjoyed a lazy weekend lunch here and tried the ribeye beef pho and a bun bowl with chicken. The pho broth, while not as complex as I've had at other places, was still tasty and seasoned well with a perfect amount of noodles and a whole lot of beef. The bun was good, but the iceberg lettuce was a little too wet for my liking. It kinda slopped up the texture- the chicken was grilled nicely. It's a no frills kinda joint but the food is well worth a visit.

Chelle B.

Yelp
The Bone In Short Rib Pho is by far the best Pho soup I've tried in the entire SFV!! I'll drive a few extra miles just for this soup. The broth, beef, veggies and overall quantity is amazingly delicious!!

Suzanne S.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with Pho and was looking for a place around my parents house in the valley. I'm super picky and swear this was the best broth I have ever had. Wish they had the option for large. I usually never finish my pho but and Feu Pho I literally wanted more and ate every drop!

Andre L.

Yelp
Ordered takeout from door dash; when I received our dinner found a stray piece of metal (looked Iike it was from a steel wool scrubber) Thankfully I found it before choking on it made me second guess whether the food had other pieces of debris, if the preparation wasn't very hygienic, if there were soap or other cleaning agents still in my food Killed my appetite

Julie B.

Yelp
The beef pho is incredible! So tasty. I still dream about it! Could get out every week!

Jenna D.

Yelp
Wow!! The food was incredible and so was the service. The restaurant is not very big but they make great use of the space and have a lot of variety on the menu. I'll definitely be back and would recommend this place to friends!

Anya F.

Yelp
Food was okay at best. Attitude was terrible. Thankfully I don't live in the area so I don't have to go back there. Whoever the guy is behind the counter walked past me when I walked in without an acknowledgment let alone a greeting. And it wasn't like it was busy - 4 people in the restaurant. Then I asked for 3 pho to go and when he charged me for one he proceeded to tell me several times that that's not what I said. Really? I don't know how many I'm ordering? Then I asked if I should sign both bills since he added the two pho later and he sarcastically said, "Of course. It's credit", like I was an idiot. Wow. With that attitude you'd think I was in a Michelin star swank restaurant, not a dinky little mediocre pho place in a strip mall. Laughable.

Dennise M.

Yelp
Best pho in the valley! Little hole in wall in shopping center with a cute, clean, and welcoming ambiance. I always get the brisket pho. Have been coming here for years. Their iced coffee is bomb too. Highly recommend!

John E.

Yelp
The Hangar Steak Banh Mi was the most delish things I ever ate. The bread was so fresh and complimented the flavorful steak so well. I often think of stopping by here again to grab another banh mi.

Yelp
While on a trip to LA/Hollywood area, we were craving some pho and we found this spot that was fairly close to the hotel. We tried the BBQ Pork sausage spring roll. The pork was seasoned well and the spring roll had the right combination of textures along with the flavors. I decided to get the bone-in rib pho and that was delicious. The bone-in ribs really added extra flavor to the broth and the meat was falling off the bone. It also added extra fattiness to the broth which just made it even more flavorful. Overall this was a really nice spot with good comfort soup, perfect for those chilly California evenings.

Yelp
Worst service I've ever had. The boss or manager, whoever the guy is in the front made me feel so uncomfortable through out my time here. When I would ask him simple service like, may I have a bag or may we split the check. He would give me the ugliest looks & made it seem like I was bothering him. This was my third time here & it's been about the same for all, but today was just EXTRAAAAA uncomfortable. I never write reviews, but I felt like I had to share this experience because of how horrible the man made me feel. Avoid it like the plague. Will not be coming here again.

Yelp
As a self-proclaimed pho connoisseur I am so happy to find my go-to pho spot!! I drove 20 mins in the rain to get pho during a recent downpour and so glad I did! The parking can be a mess because it's a small busy corner plaza but if you give it a couple minutes you'll find a spot- there is also street parking available. Convenient location for folks in Hollywood, North Hollywood, sherman oaks. The place is pretty small but organized efficiently. Servers were polite and efficient. Bathrooms in the back of the kitchen. Not the nicest bathrooms but clean and taken care of. Nice diverse menu with daily specials and plenty of pho options, something for everyone. Our party of three had 2 shortrib pho and 1 oxtail pho. So much meat in our short rib pho and for $18 each, very happy. The pho comes with a large serving of very fresh bean sprouts, generous amount of fresh basil, jalapeño, and lime wedges. The vermicelli was perfectly al dente and again, generous portion. The broth was steamy and so flavorful, not watered down at all. The food came out so fast and piping hot! Chili sauce, sriracha, hoisin sauce were all available at each table. So good!!! We also tried the steak spring rolls. While they were good, and super fresh, the main highlight was the pho. I would be down to try their other items in the future and definitely will be back soon! Come here!

Marina K.

Yelp
Ordered TOGO from this place. The pork egg rolls were great &I'm so glad I got a side order. The Bun noodle bowl was fine. Chicken portion could have been more & the chicken was blah. Next time I would just get an order of the fried pork egg rolls & a Thai iced tea.

Yelp
Great food, great service . First time customer , food was authentic . My wife asked for him to change the music (it was loud and hard rock music ) and he did change it jazz music. Overall great. Definitely will go again...

Yelp
My husband and I placed an order on Uber eats and wanted to add beef broth to my veggie pho and veggies to his pho, so I added them to the instructions since it didn't give an option to modify the order. I called the restaurant and the man who answered was incredibly rude. He said he is going to "ignore the instructions" because it costs the restaurant more money to make changes to the order. I offered to pay for the difference and he was just upset and offended. He told me to go cancel and do the "order right next time". I doubted myself for a second and went back to see if there are modification options for making an order and there weren't any options. It's a shame because we liked this place and now have to move due to the poor and angry customer service.

Yelp
Was feeling under the weather and needed some Pho healing. The chicken ramen was amazing and hit the spot. Also when I wrapped up what I couldn't finish the kind owner gave me extra soup to go so I could have a 2nd Pho meal the next day. Little things like this are very rare and much appreciated! I will be back next time to try the Oxtail Ramen

Nargis N.

Yelp
I order take out because of the reviews. I was looking for some comfort noodles and of course I couldn't resist myself with chicken wings. The noodles were mediocre at best. The garlic noodles everyone raves about is only in house (I didn't realize it) I got the Feu noodles and they were basic. Chicken wings were good, it amazing. I liked the sauce a lot and that they put it on the side without me asking. It's the the simple things. The cold vermicelli noodle with salad was just that. Food was flavorless. The shrimp spring rolls were good, the peanut sauce had real peanuts. Really good as well. But it did not hit the spot at all. I don't see what the hype is per the reviews.

Suzie Y.

Yelp
Not sure why people are so hyped about this place. I ordered the hanger steak bun and the meat was so dry and hard that I can barely chew it. The taste is not authentic at all. No where near it. Anything fusion, stay away.

Sean V.

Yelp
Service was amazing. I love the gentlemen that takes care of the front house. Now, I would rate the PHO a 10. I've been eating this for 20 years and my verdict is that the base to the soup was delicious! I hate when it's too sweet and this soup base was original to the Vietnamese culture. I of course have to make mine spicy . I love the generous lemon that I was given. The beef flank was grade A probably better than most of the places that I have tried. I would definitely come back here and bring some friends.

Shawn G.

Yelp
Tried this place a couple weeks ago on a rainy LA day. Really tiny dining room but they do a good job keeping the crowd moving so I didnt have to wait long. I ordered oxtail pho and pork egg rolls. Everything was really delicious. Only one thing bothered me during visit, the dining room had gnats flaying around. Not sure what that was all about.

Vicki G.

Yelp
First time here small mom and pop very kind and friendly. Not as traditional like I am use to. I like it the broth was very clean and went with the white chicken. I think next time I will go with the regular since I like a little fat. I would like to have had some more basil and they didn't give me onion. Again this is my first time here so things are different. The spring shrimp rolls had croutons in them which were a filler in my opinion. They were good just different. Staff and ambiance were nice will try again since I'm new to area.

Sophia S.

Yelp
The place hit the spot for the pho craving I had. The broth was delicious. There was only one guy serving all the tables and taking care of take out but I didn't wait that long for my food. The man was also very friendly and nice. The pork spring rolls were good. I did get a Thai iced but it was more on the watered down side that would be my only complaint lol.

Yelp
This review will only reflect my take out order in July of 2022. I was highly disappointed by the food quality and quantity. For the price, I assumed that the quality and quantity would be better. I ordered a $20 short rib bowl of pho. The portion size of the meat and noodles are not very much. They also did not provide any vegetables with my takeout noodles. I was left feeling fairly dissatisfied I also ordered two sides of oxtail at $7 a piece. The oxtail itself was also not flavorful. You would think that for the cost it would be slightly bigger or at least more meaty. However, each oxtail only equals about probably less than a tablespoon of meat for the $14. The disappointment continues as I also ordered a coconut. The coconut itself was a whole coconut that was wrapped for $7.5. No preparation or care was given to the coconut The worst part is that coconut was very visibly molded. Unfortunately, I did not check my bag at the store and noticed it after I took it out of the bag when I got home. The most frustrating part on top of everything is the fact that they charge me a service fee of $1.50 for packing my food. I was not informed of this while I ordered it over the phone nor when I was in the store. I only noticed this once I checked the receipt that was emailed to me. Overall, I found this experience very distasteful and disappointing.

Yelp
I was at the Warner Bros lot in Burbank and was picking up lunch afterwards. My hubby had food poisoning a few days before and had a sensitive stomach. I figured, what could be better than a chicken pho? So I found this place as it was on my way home and ordered a chicken pho and a prime rib pho to go. The lady on the phone was nice and said this would be ready in 15 minutes. So I headed to Studio City from Burbank and parked in their lot. When I got there, I saw that there were some patrons dining in. I went to the front and told the lady I had place a phone order. It was ready - I paid and was on my merry way. When I got home we put the food in bowls and heated it up for an additional minute. My pho was delicious and flavorful. My hubby said that this was perfect for his stomach! Overall a great pho spot. Would come back to try other things on the menu.

Natalie M.

Yelp
Great brisket Pho, the owner was super sweet and had a table ready for me immediately. Loved this place for a quick and comforting bowl of Pho. :)

Valerie W.

Yelp
THE BEST PHO in the valley!!! Suuuper cute and unassuming little spot, but man...EVERYTHING on the menu is Fantastic and FRESH!!!! No joke, my Husband and I are totally addicted now, and go once a week. Jay is awesome!! She makes you feel right at home when you walk in, so the service is awesome. And THE PHO is served steaming hot with tons of flavors and spices that smack you in the face real nice like!! Highly recommend!!! them!!!

Yelp
GREAT food, lovely people. Their simple menu is perfect, ingredients are fresh and prices reasonable. This is one of our regulars cause it's always good!

J J.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Always fresh ingredients and the portions are generous. Great egg rolls and delicious pho. I eat here at least once per month and am happy every time. Keep up the great work your food is delicious.

H B.

Yelp
Peanut sauce: really off, some of the worst we've had Fish sauce for rolls: nope: a vinaigrette that just didn't work. The shrimp rolls themselves were pretty good. The steak rolls were not. The steak was unflavored, cut too thick and just tasted of beef. The garlic noodles were bland, kinda meh on the garlic flavor and the shrimp were almost mushy. The ice coffee was yummy. The pho rib eye - broth was very beefy, and oniony, but that's it. Little aromatic, under seasoned - the brisket was well cooked - the rib eye was a) tiny in portion size and b) just bad. It wasn't thinly sliced, it was more of a mush. - the noodles were fine, but I ran out of them quite quickly / there weren't enough - the super spicy oil they offer...had zero flavor and was a 1 out of 5 on spice, I have to imagine they brought the wrong sauce Parking is also quite challenging here. Would not ever return.

Cece M.

Yelp
Great little spot in Studio City! The dining area is limited but it's also bright and airy inside... service quick and attentive . I ordered the oxtail pho- mind you $18.95 is a little pricey for pho but this was worth it! The meat was fall off the bone tender and the broth rich and savory. There was more than enough meat to get me all the way to the bottom of the bowl too. Give it a try you wont be disappointed. Myself? I'll be back for the banh mi and the rice dishes next!

Ali B.

Yelp
My wife and I had the Ribeye Beef Pho today and it was stellar! The place is super clean and each table has condiments and extra chopsticks. They have good air conditioning for hot days and super friendly staff. Our server J was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of throughout our meal. They're open all day which is perfect because a lot of restaurants on Ventura BLVD are closed from lunch to dinner. Their menu isn't too complicated but are all great selections of good variety. We will be back to explore more items!

T V.

Yelp
Very prompt lunch order pickup, and warm welcoming stacc. The ribeye pho was delicious! Will definitely go here again. :)

Kevin C.

Yelp
I love my pho. This ain't it. They serving Fho not Pho. Not a single Vietnamese cook in sight; RUN. Also overpriced. Sorry to the new owner. Do better.

Chhaya N.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite places to go. But tonight was terrible in terms of service. The service has been slipping since the pandemic started but I kept going to support this place. However tonight, the owner was incredibly rude to my friend and I after we didn't order an appetizer and a drink. She was cold with us and overly friendly with the tables who had ordered more than a Pho. She wouldn't make eye contact, refill water, and threw take out containers on the table. Her waitress took away our sauces and told us to keep them in a corner when we first sat down. It was odd. The whole night both ladies were cold and rude. The owner hid as we left. I really hope this place gets better and customers get treated better, I've been coming for years and now I won't be coming back or recommending it.

Von R.

Yelp
I'm kind of a Pho snob! I've had it in Vietnam, and this place is comparable. It's a tiny place in a strip center that's easy to miss. But if you're fortunate enough to find it, the food is legit! I've come back several times and plan on coming back again... Get the chicken Pho with dark meet. Yummmm!

Greg P.

Yelp
My family and I have been a very loyal customers of Feu for years, going in person (pre pandemic) or ordering takeout at least once every other week. In fact, it's my children's favorite by far. However tonight we had a very scary incident. We were eating the shrimp and vegetable spring rolls and upon taking a bite halfway through the second roll, I bit into a very large and sharp piece of metal. I immediately spit it out and thought I had chipped my tooth. Thank God it was not one of my young children. I immediately called the restaurant but as noted in a few other reviews either no one answered or it was busy. I will be contacting the owner/manager as this poses a potential serious injury risk for others. Please be cautious. Update: I just spoke with the manager and apparently getting a metal foreign object in your meal is only worth a $20 refund on a $50+ dollar meal, even though after nearly choking I had no desire to have me or my family finish our food. I asked if she felt like this was good enough and apparently it is. Wow! It saddens me to say this but I will not be returning to Feu ever again and will let anyone know who asks me that they should avoid. Be well people.

Erin H.

Yelp
I hadn't been here in years, but adored this place when I first moved to Studio City. Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed with my dinner last night. The steak in the bun salad was very dry and tough, the shrimp skewers were burnt to a crisp (which no amount of fish sauce can change) and they missed my order notes. My husband had the chicken pho, which he seemed to think was just OK. I am willing to give this restaurant another chance because I love Vietnamese food, but I no longer have high expectations.

Janet L.

Yelp
My favorite local ribeye pho place and the fresh rolls are amazing. They add crunchy onions so it adds great texture.Always yummy and satisfying!

Micah V.

Yelp
Very good bowl of Pho, made a little different than your average Pho with really good slices of high quality meat. Great flavor and vibes.

Mitchell P.

Yelp
It was okay, good noodles but meat rather bland, cramped dining area, friendly service.

Mitchell K.

Yelp
First and foremost if you know about Pho, don't ever trust a place that doesn't have actual Vietnamese people in the kitchen making your pho. Secondly the service is tremendously slow and it takes more than 30 minutes to get you one bowl of pho. It should never take this long since there is huge vat of broth already made and noodles take literally seconds to soften. Lastly the flavor of the broth is not there. Pretty bland to be honest and which brings me back to my first point, don't trust a pho restaurant that doesn't have any Vietnamese people in the kitchen making it for you. Needless to say I'm never coming back to this place again. I guess people in Studio city have no other choices but if it was me I would drive a little further to get some legit pho.

A A.

Yelp
Hidden spot in studio city. Best pho I've ever had. I had the oxtail pho and steak tacos. The tacos were amazing as well. Topped off the lunch with a cinnamon sugar mochi donut. Phenomenal. Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu. Service was great as well. Thank you!

Yelp
I love Paris. The food, the wine, the coffee and establishments. They say the French are rude, but I don't agree. They definitely know how to leave me alone to enjoy my meal.. I especially like sitting down in a restaurant, and knowing that the servers are not going to bother me until I finish my meal or when I ask for the check. Be warned: **Feu Pho is NOT like Paris. I used to really like this place. It is in my neighborhood and the Vietnamese fare was "serviceable" and possibly above that level. It's not as good now, you can get better Pho or Bun driving just a few minutes east or west.. It's also fairly expensive for what it is. I walked out paying 30$ plus tip for a bowl of mediocre soup with under-cooked noodles and egg rolls. The broth I will give 6 out of 10. The most obnoxious part of the meal, was the feeling of being rushed out, because apparently they close at 9pm. I was halfway through my soup slurping, when the server plops down a check onto the table, expecting me to pull out my credit card, chop! chop!, with my chop sticks and spoon in hand. I moved the damn thing out of my way because I really didn't like it in my face (registering annoyance). I was about to lift the bowl to my mouth and gobble up the rest of the broth when the server interrupts me again, now pointing to the check from behind the counter and says, "Can you take care of this now?" I have to say, this was very poor behavior from any server I've witnessed in LA or anywhere. I REALLY did not enjoy my overly-expensive Pho at this point, and I didn't even get to finish it.. I will be going back to my usual joints on Sepulveda, where the food is consistent, moderately priced, and the service is great! At the end of the day, it's worth the extra 10 minutes in the car. I will not be returning to Feu Pho Kitchen.
