Family‑run and focused on Italian technique, Fiamma turns out Neapolitan and occasional Sicilian styles using imported ingredients. Profiled by CityScope and The Pulse for its craft and training lineage, it’s a Northshore staple for pizza purists.

This is tasty pizza but it is definitely pricey. We shared a Greek salad, bruschetta, and the sausage and pepper pizza and everything was good. Seems like the pie could have maybe stayed in the oven just a little longer because it was a bit wet, so the crust under the toppings was borderline soggy. But still very good. Service was extremely friendly and the patio was pleasant.

Google
The food was delicious, especially the gluten free crust. I had the calzone and it was incredible. They also have vegan cheese which is a plus for me. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Google
Real and AMAZING PIZZA. the dressing of the salad taste homemade! Finally! The flavor was sooooo fresh. After eating a pizza, calzone and salad ... I didn't feel bloated at all. AND THE COSTUMER SERVICE.... Was amazing. This place is so refreshing. Lo recomiendo mucho! Pizzas a la leña! Super frescas, no te tapan y te va a caer bien.

Pizza and bruschetta were very good place was clean and well kept . I love the copper tops. We are just passing through, but we will be back .

Family was craving wood fired pizza so we decided to give this place a shot and we’re so glad we did. Caesar salad - Very good, Caesar dressing seemed house made. Garlic Cheese Bread - Very good, the tomato sauce stood out as an excellent and that’s coming from my Italian wife. It’s perfectly simple and fresh, tastes like tomatoes and not sugar. Diavola Slice - Never had this style of pizza so wanted to try it. I love Calabrian chilis so this was my choice. Very happy with the flavor and the little bit of spice from the chilis was great. Prosciutto + Arugula - (wife’s pizza) no red sauce on this one, arugula was fresh and dough was perfectly cooked. Nooga Nduja - having tasted actual Nduja in Italy I wanted to see how it was here. It was great! Perfect cook on the pizza. Fantastic flavor. Polpetta - (son’s pick) It was very good and he loved it. Again perfect cook and good ingredients. Loved the food, seemed like a little bit of a long wait but they were pretty slammed in the bar section so understandable. Totally would come back again.

Google
was empty when we went around 7 PM, they do use a pizza oven and use fresh ingredients but the pizza we got was burnt. Not worth the price.

Google
The pizza was tasty and the service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was a little cluttered with storage racks sprinkled around the dining area. My pizza was $40. I ate 4 of the 6 slices. Take this into consideration. They have vegan cheese for those of you searching.

Google
Okay, this is THE best pizza, hands down. The genuine Neapolitan-style pizza. It’s rare, very. I mean I don’t mind a generic all-you-can-eat-buy-one-get-two pie, every now and then. But when you want a real pizza - this is a place to go. Again, very hard to find. To my taste, pizza is 60% crust / 40% toppings. These guys they have commercial bags of Caputo Doblezero flour laying around, so I believe that’s what they’re using. Feels like they do authentic fermentation, too. And a wood oven. Well the crust is perfect: bubbly, airy, chewy, slightly burnt on the edges. As to the toppings: very basic - how it’s meant to be. Margherita, white, prosciutto and arugula. Please take it as is, save “customization” for dominos. It’s worth it. Everything is fresh, tastes like it’s a real San Marzano. I believe that’s what it was. All come in one size 12’. Comes out a little pricey as to the dollar/food ratio. But if you want to treat yourself - go for it. I wish you guys to be slinging them pizzas like big macs at McD. I don’t care much for the interior etcetera, as long as the food is good. It’s a breath of fresh air and a true delicacy in all its authentic simplicity, which is so hard to recreate. Thank you for what you do, and I wish you have more and more people appreciating it.

Yelp
Four stars is pretty much my top tier unless the food, service etc. is spectacular. We have had pizza literally all over the country. New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Florida, Connecticut, Georgia on and on. Pizza is very much a personal taste but for all those who insist on more cheese, more sauce, more, more, more. I highly recommend sticking to Domino's and the like. We think Fiamma is one of, if not the best Chattanooga has to offer. We frequent Pizza Bros. in East Ridge, Community (mostly for the Detroit) and New York Pizza but Fiamma is our favorite. It's quite far from us so delivery is pricey so we don't order it a lot (2 or 3 times a year) but we always enjoy it. I can't speak to the ambiance as we have never been, but I did not imagine a "trendy pizza/Italian restaurant". That's okay, those places usually don't have good pizza anyway. Like tacos, hole in the wall is probably best.

Yelp
Excellent pepperoni pizza and casual atmosphere. Big parking lot and friendly service.

Yelp
Was pretty empty when we went, the staff were nice. They do use a pizza oven and use fresh ingredients but the pizza we got was pretty burnt. Overall not worth it for the price of the pizza.

Yelp
Great pizza spot in Chatt! The bruschetta was awesome and the pizza was delicious! I think the calzone was my favorite though! Had a great pesto sauce and was loaded up with goodness! You could also see them putting the pizza in their brick oven!

Jide E.

Yelp
We walked over on a Sunday and weren't sure what to expect and it beat our expectations by far! Kind and attentive staff and cooks, the customizable menus, and the quality of the pizzas are to die for! And I mean Italian quality! We will be back!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great Neapolitan style pizza! Clean and tidy dining area. They also have their own parking lot so you don't have to pay extra.

Yelp
It was empty when we got there and didn't get very busy while we were there. The food was good but the prices were a bit high. The staff were friendly, but I'm not sure I'd go back with the prices.

Yelp
I stopped in for a small 10" personal size Margarita Pizza. The price was fair at about 12$ including tax and the portion was appropriate for a personal size pizza. They have a real Wood-Fired Stone oven that cooks the pizza pretty quick! I think my pizza was prepped, cooked, and made ready in about 5 to 6 minutes. The flavor was nice. The basil was sweet, the pizza sauce had a nice tomato flavor, and the cheese tasted good. I enjoyed the taste of the crust and the variety of flavor when you got a little piece of char. My only slight critique is the bottom of the crust was maybe not as crispy as I would expect, but otherwise a wonderful Pizza. Water tasted very good also. I liked the open-air kitchen where you could watch the cooks preparing the pizzas and cooking them. It added to the ambience in the restaurant. I would easily come back here when I'm back in town for a nice Pizza.
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
We ate a margarita pizza and drank some apple cider beers. It was very nice. I just wish it was more lively. But I assume the price is what drives people away. Good for lunch but not a date.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Cute and simple atmosphere. Service in the restaurant is good and the service in the bar area has improved a lot in the last year. I do think there can be better training still - regardless, everyone is friendly and happy to help! Personal favorite is the margherita pizza - I recommend asking for extra basil if you're a fan. available seating outside when it's nice out and it's always been very clean inside. Stop by for a pizza and a beer!
google avatar

Yelp
Freshly made. Super cute little spot. They have the cutest ovens. Love this quaint place delicious pizza

David H.

Yelp
Wife's Greek salad was good. Mine fair. Pizza cold and sucked. Service pretty good. You pay first I don't normally tip if I don't have a waiter but did this time. Mistake. Next time Taco Bell Not worth my $50 Pizza $24 salads $6 each We drank water. If all was good $50 wouldn't have been bad buuuuut !!!

Yelp
So so gewd we went back twice!!!! The Bianca is a 10!!! We ordered the Bianca and a salad. Mind you my 2 boys know gewd food but we decided to eat light....babaaayyyy by the next day we were re-routing our plans to go back and it was a hit even the next day. From the ricotta to the olive oil drizzle this pie is definitely a treat!!!

Yelp
My second time in Chattanooga made this trip worthy by stopping at Fiamma. I highly recommend this place, since the food is amazing, cleanliness is great and the service was awesome
google avatar

Andrew I.

Yelp
The pizza here is one of my favorites anywhere, not just in Chattanooga. The service is good and the restaurant is always clean. They have a decent selection of beers to go with your pizza, one of my favorite dinner combos!
google avatar

Yelp
Over the last few years Fiamma has become one of my go-to restaurants on the Northshore. It's easy to grab a table, and I love the arugula side salad and Diavola pizza. My children like the cheese pizza.

Edward J.

Yelp
Little known, not downtown so a bit obscure. Excellent pizza at budget prices. Terrific!
google avatar

Yelp
They make a really for cob salad!! Fresh, flavorful, and filling. I added grilled chicken. I sampled their Neapolitan style margarita pizza too. I liked the crust and it tasted good. I just wish it had more evenly distributed mozzarella and basil. Some slices had no cheese at all! So it was just crust with sauce and maybe one basil leaf! Their pizza is good though! It's cool have they offer two different styles of pizza: Neapolitan (thinner) and Sicilian (thicker crust). I feel like this place makes quality pizza and salad and would definitely come back!

Brian C.

Yelp
They do not get pizza. This place only survives because it's North Shore Chatt. Spoken by an Italian trained chef.

Yelp
Our first visit with Fiamma and we went straight to their pies, pizza pies that is. Chose between Neapolitan (traditional wood-oven fired), Sicilian (think deep-dish), and gluten-free crust options. A nice selection of sauces, cheeses, meats, and toppings help you build your desired pie. We each got a pizza with several of our favorites. Two Neapolitan and one gluten-free pizza pies. Neapolitan 1 -- olive oil, bufala, caramelized onion, arugula, and prosciutto Neapolitan 2 -- tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, red onion, and mushrooms Gluten-free -- tomato sauce, mozzarella, green pepper, and red onion Everything was delicious and we greatly appreciated the staff's assistance. Looking forward to returning for another round of pies and for a chance to sample some of the other items on their menu. Definitely a great place to go for great wood-fired pizza and more.

Yelp
I recommend this spot! I had a very pleasant experience! I placed an order online for pick up. The interphase on the website is very easy to navigate. The order was ready at the stated time - it took about 20 minutes. When I picked up the order every one was kind. The facility is clean and all employees were wearing masks. I got the margarita pizza with extra sauce. The total was -$13 and an additional $2 for arugula. This is a thin crust pizza - very tasty! I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Yelp
We were greeted by a clean restaurant with what was a great menu, we decided on the caprese salad and the Salsiccia pizza. Although there were two of us, we received only one set of silverware and when our salad came, we were not given plates when the pizza arrived. The toppings were tasty, but the peppadews were whole and I had to cut them into pieces in order to spread them around the pizza for maximum coverage. The crust was yummy, but so thin in the middle that it was limp due to its inability to hold the toppings and almost transparent. As we were leaving, we noticed that the bar would have been a better choice, because the kitchen seemed to be focused on those orders rather than ours.
google avatar

Jacklyn K.

Yelp
Neapolitan pizza missed the mark for us but Sicilian slices were a hit! We're typically thin crust, wood fired lovers but the marg Neapolitan pie here was soggy and devoid of flavor. We had Calabrian chili peppers on the Sicilian slice and they were perfectly spicyyyy. Can see the chefs and ovens from your seat. Would definitely recommend a visit for a Sicilian slice!

Yelp
We stopped in on a lazy Sunday afternoon around 3:30 pm. There wasn't anyone else in the restaurant area and only one person in the bar. The atmosphere is casual, with concrete floors and basic furnishing. Right when you walk in, you see the cut wood on the floor and the decent sized wood fired oven. I ordered a Salsiccia and Pepe pizza on a gluten free crust (yes, I'm one of THOSE people). The crust was tasty, but realize it is a thin crust. The sauce had excellent flavor and the sausage was chunked. The only disappointing part is I would have liked the onions to have been more caramelized (they were a bit pale looking and didn't have that deep, golden brown color) and I would have liked more of them on the pizza. But it was delicious and was so much better than the pre-made, cardboard tasting GF crusts you get at other pizza joints.

Yelp
The margarita pizza? Fantastic. Cashier with perfect brows and an = tattoo? 15/10. Manager that let me pick up my scheduled DoorDash order early? Over 9,000. Thank you guys so much for being patient with me and helping me get my pizza early! I was so hungry after my hike. It was absolutely perfect. I shouldn't have ate a 10" by myself, but I'm basking in my regret now and that's fine It was worth it Thank you so much! Will be coming back thanks to the good food, parking, incredible staff, ans beautiful establishment!!!

Yelp
I called the restaurant before we arrived to ask if the gluten free crust was a previously frozen one, or one made fresh at the restaurant. The young lady told me all about the direct from Italy flour and gluten free flour they use. When I heard that, I was sold! They have two traditonal pizza crust options, Neapolitan and Sicilian. The gluten free crust is made in the style of the Neapolitan. I have included a photo of the menu board, current as of June 2020. The rest of my table shared one large Bianca and one large Pepperoni pizza. I shared a large gluten free crust Prosciutto and Arugula pizza with my mom. The entire table agreed, the crust and flavors of the pizza were INCREDIBLE and worth any trip we would need to take to eat here again. We devoured all the pizzas in record time with zero leftovers. The staff are all very friendly and ready with helpful recommendations. There is a basic restaurant location up top, with tables and booths, and the kitchen where they make the pizzas right there with a wood fire oven. There is a secondary eating area with a bar on a lower level, off to the side and down a ramp, with an outdoor patio as well. You can place your order at the register in either eating area. The entire place is clean and the atmosphere is modern, minimal, and inviting. It feels like a fun place to come with a group of friends and just feast and drink. The bathrooms are single use, and clean. I wish I could give this place higher than a 5 star rating. They really deserve it. Make sure you tip well! The ingredients are fresh and thoughtful. And the whole dining and food experience was just phenomenal!

Yelp
Great pizza and great service. This spot is walking distance from my neighborhood and I'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I have been wanting to eat at Fiamma Pizza Company ever since they opened. I love pizza. I adore pizza. I could eat pizza every day for the rest of my life and be happy. Truth be told, I am not that picky about my pizza. It's like donuts, even a not so good donut is better than no donut at all. I feel the same way about pizza. However, when I find a pizza I love, it's like I hear angels singing. Well, angels were singing at Fiamma Pizza Company. We walked in around on five on a Saturday. I know it's early, but we're old and that's what old people do. You walk in and to your left is the menu. You place your order at the counter, get a number to place on your table, get your drink and sit down to wait for your order. Since I love a thin crust we went with Salsiccia + Peppe from their Pizzas Napoleiana. It had tomato sauce, sausage, carmelized onions, peepadew peppers, bufala, basil and olive oil. We also both ordered a side spinach salad which had spinach, red onion, feta, pancetta, and a balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The decor is simple with tables scattered about with a polished concrete floor. There is a bar on the other side, but I forget to go check it out. The spinach salad arrived quickly. The spinach was fresh, the feta was crumbled nicely and the pancetta was amazing. The balsamic vinaigrette was also tasty. It was altogether an excellent salad. As we waited for our pizza, I admired the oven. It is a gorgeous wood burning oven, from Naples! It promised good things to come. Then the star of the show arrived, the pizza. I first admired all those lovely charred bits on the crust! This is the kind of pizza I dream of. The toppings were perfectly balanced, all of the flavors blended perfectly together. The crust was thin, but still flavorful. The peppadew peppers were amazing. Sweet with a little heat. I immediately googled them on my phone to find out where I could get some. The tomato sauce tasted so fresh, probably one of the best tomato sauces on a pizza that I've ever had. The bufala was nice and chewy, the sausage even spiced and the onions sweet. Yep, angels singing. We will be be back. I think everyone needs goals in life and mine is to try all of their pizzas.

Yelp
Very little cheese on the pie. Pie was not totally cooked. We have ate there several times and none of the times the pie was correct.

Abdul E.

Yelp
Good place to get authentic oven brick baked pizza. Casual setting. Metal chairs. Seating area inside and outside. Nice layout as the kitchen fully exposed and nice to see pizza being prepared. We got a margarita to go. Crust prefect. Nice sauce and cheese clearly high quality. Little more attention to seating area and the way the cheese distributed on the pizza and would have gotten 5 stars so very close to perfection! We will definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
My boyfriend and I got takeout from here last night and it was amazing!! We ordered the whole Diavola and an order of Bruschetta. Soooo good. The pizza was a great level of spice so maybe not kid friendly, but great for a date night for us. The bruschetta was my favorite part surprisingly as it was still crunchy after the ride home and the flavors of the tomatoes and oil were really supreme, not too bitter or sweet just the perfect blend. We will be ordering from here way more often!
google avatar

Emmanuel A.

Yelp
I was here today for a quick little date with my girlfriends for it was a really nice, rustic type place with really good food. We got two apps and a pizza. The seating was nice, the wait was great, and of course the food was very good quality and delicious. I absolutely recommend this spot! I hope the pics are nice

Dailey M.

Yelp
3.5 stars. I so badly want to give this place a higher rating because the food is quite good and it's fulfills my need for Neapolitan style pizza in Chattanooga. With that said, my issues are with the consistency of the food. My fiancé and I order the same 3 things every time and while they're always "good".. they always always taste and look different than the time they did before. Example: size of pizza, thinness of crust, amount of toppings, lightly baked/well done. Tonight is where I draw the line though- see the attached photo for what they gave me as a "Caesar salad." Again I've had it before and it did not look like that.

Helen A.

Yelp
Sicilian crust was way too thick, , not good service, , good toppings, very good sauce. I would not revisit
google avatar

Yelp
I'll qualify this post by saying that I went to Fiamma years ago and had a less-than-good experience, so haven't been back since. This past weekend, I decided to give it another try, because I heard they had a really good gluten-free crust. My experience was dramatically better. First of all, if you are GF, just try this crust. It's house-made, or at least house-formed, and it is second-to-none in this city. I have hunted around for ages, with very little luck, finding a solid GF crust that doesn't taste "gluten free". I even shared it with a friend who commented on how nice the crust was for any sort of pizza. The edges were perfectly charred and crispy from their wood-fired oven. I picked up a 14" pizza with tomato sauce, bufala, sausage, bacon, green olives, artichoke. The flavor was excellent, and all the ingredients were solid. My only real critiques are: - My pie was $26, making it something I just wouldn't buy regularly. - The topping portions and scale were a bit off. Two pieces of my pie didn't even have sausage on them, because it is in such large chunks. The most on a slice was 2 pieces. Mildly smaller, better spread out toppings would make this a lot better, flavor-wise. I was quoted 15-20 minutes until my order would be ready, and I walked in 15 minutes after I called. I saw my pizza come out of the oven as I walked in the door, quickly paid, and was on my way. That so rarely happens in Chattanooga, it almost made up for the high price. Overall, I'd say it was a really solid experience. If you're looking for a delicious GF pizza, this is definitely the place to go. No one else can really compete, from what I've seen trying around town. :)

Yelp
The pizza is outstanding and the service and atmosphere were perfect. I will most definitely return for more of their deliciousness (:
google avatar

Nancy Z.

Yelp
Omg this pizza was so delicious. We had the americano. Freshly made crispy and soft inside. It wasn't greasy. I can't wait to try the other ones.
google avatar

Tono M.

Yelp
The pizza is the star. The prices are the villain. We had a margherita pizza, caprese salad and two soft drinks and it was $24. This is on the pricey side. The pizza was delicious and so was the salad all the ingredients tasted very fresh. The atmosphere was okay, the seats weren't comfortable. The service was pretty good. Again, the pizza was delicious!
google avatar

Jason F.

Yelp
I got the #7-the meats-to go. It was fantastic! The buffalo mozzarella stays creamy despite the high temps of the brick oven. The crust is thin but still folds easily, and the oven blisters but doesn't burn. The meats are abundant and delicious, and the tomato sauce is classic Neapolitan, with chunks of tomato and fresh herbs I love pizza, and I'm so excited this is so close to downtown!!
google avatar

Bobby S.

Yelp
Wow. Sara must be on crack or married to one of the owners. The atmosphere is stark think old public restroom. Black and white with no decorating. The staff were very cool as the temperature setting was definitely for their benefit. About 65 degrees. The pizza was dough with a smear of sauce with polka dots of cheese. Three leaves of basil right in the center. 14 inch pie 16$. If the Mississippi Park service had a pizza stand this would be it. With places like the Schroom and Lupi's why would anyone come here. Oh just beer but you can bring your own wine.
google avatar

Sedara B.

Yelp
Let me start out by saying there is a huge difference in American pizza (Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc) and Italian Pizza (Fiamma). I am not a huge fan of Italian Pizza because I like gobs of toppings (again Americanized). The toppings are sparse but fresh and of good quality. I had The arugula salad, while I wasn't a fan of the dressing, I loved the pine nuts, cheese and of course the arugula!! The Bianci Pizza had great flavor! The service here was good, they were happy to explain everything to us. I look forward to coming back, and trying something else new.

Rochelle C.

Yelp
I have family in Southern Italy and this is very close. They use flour from Italy (00), the sauce was a delicate, yet traditional, homemade with San Marzano tomatoes. The staff was friendly, courteous, and recommended tasty drinks. They offered seating al fresco, at the bar, or in an open, family area in front. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely eat here. I'm sad this restaurant wasn't on this list of places to eat via the Hilton Honors app, we almost missed it!

Kate D.

Yelp
Delicious pizza with unique toppings along with yummy salads ! Great patio area as well.

Marilyn M.

Yelp
Way too pricey for mediocre food. $9.00 for wedge salad!!!! Ludicrous. Drinks are too expensive. This restaurant will price themselves out of business.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
we had the margherita and pepperoni pizzas as well as a slice of sicilian. everything was really good and the staff are great.

Noah M.

Yelp
Very authentic pizza! I went on a trip to Italy in the spring and the pizza at Fiamma is identical to it! Highly recommend! I had the Margherita which is a personal favorite of mine (simple yet wonderful).
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
Really good pizza, one of the better pizza places in town. The dining room is pretty small with seats outside. Nice beer selection too.

R B.

Yelp
Delicious pizza. Friendly service. Great selection on the menu, not just pizzas. I always get pizza here when I'm in this part of town.
google avatar

Craig L.

Yelp
There are three great pizza places in Chattanooga and Fiamma is one of them. The crust is perfect and while I would like to see a bit more creativity in pizza topping selection like roasted garlic, pancetta or exotic mushrooms, I have loved each pizza we have ordered. Very friendly and attentive staff. Just a fun place to hang out. We will be back again and again.
