Fiat Café

Had the rigatoni bolognese and was left underwhelmed. It kinda just tasted like nothing? I liked the outdoor seating but other than that, I wasn’t a huge fan of the spot. Restaurant is cash only and they already add a 20% tip towards our party of 5. I don’t know if the service was that great, but it’s NYC, so I expected to pay up. I’m not sure anything else was really that great from my friends, but worth a shot

Loved this cute Italian gem in the Soho area! Such genuine and hospitable staff and amazing homemade dishes and a reasonable price. Do note that it is a cash only restaurant. Very quaint and good service.

Loved this place. I was on a short trip to New York when I walked by this place; service is fast and food is delicious. I even visited twice to get the exact same dish! Make sure you have cash on you and you’re all set. Both inside and outside sitting will leave you satisfied.

I stumbled upon Fiat Cafe NYC on social media and Instagram, and I'm so glad I did! Their video reels caught my attention, and since it was conveniently located near my apartment, I had to try it out. And boy, am I glad I did. Their pasta dishes are absolute delicious. already recommended Fiat Cafe to friends, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings. Five stars and highly recommended

I had the BEST CAPPUCCINO OF MY LIFE!! The coffee was so delicious and perfect, plus it didn’t need any sugar!!! Please visit this cute cafe for their amazing service, food and atmosphere! My friend ordered a mushroom omelette and that was fantastic as-well. It’s Cash Only but they have ATM downstairs in the cafe! 11/10 highly recommend

I’m on vacation with my family and we are so happy to have stumbled upon Fiat Cafe! My daughters loved the French toast and the fluffy pancakes. My husband’s omelette with spinach and goat cheese was to die for. The oatmeal was outstanding, I was very pleased to have found a restaurant that serves oatmeal. I had high expectations and they were met! The service was phenomenal. I was so happy to be able to sit and enjoy my time with my family without feeling rushed.

Wow! Pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant! We ordered the pasta with meatballs; which is good. But if you like vegetables, the broccoli rabe and mushroom garlic pasta is absolutely amazing. The seating on a weekend afternoon is tight. Real tight. But it’s a small cafe, what’re you gonna do 🤷🏻‍♂️ best for a party of two. Food is amazing though! Glad we stopped by!

The food is great. My family and I had a wonderful experience for lunch. The place is small so it's good to ask if they take reservations in advance. The staff is friendly and they take care of every detail. Price is fair and individual portions are well served. Will come back and I do recommend it even if you are not in the Soho area.

Service was quick and friendly. Food nothing fancy but very good and filling (we had an omelette and tuna salad). Prices were very good for the area as were portions. Very euro-feeling space (in a good way), have been back since!

The food was great! We got the ricotta ravioli with browned butter and balsamic sage sauce, and the pounded chicken breast served with lemon butter and capers. The ambiance was nice, with a small intimate setting. Nothing fancy and easy to stop by whenever you want. And service was pleasant and quick.

Came here because I miss my Cinquecento. Be aware they only take cash. Full of characters this little cafe from the decoration to glassware. Also be aware, the sittings are very tight.

One of my favorite cafes in Nolita that has really good simple food and good service. Restaurant is small but super cute. I usually order 2 things here-the spinach goat cheese omelette is one of my favs and the vegetable panini. Both are so good and are a staple for me since I've always gotten the same 2 things off their menu. I've been meaning to try other things, but I enjoy these 2 so much (not together, separate times).

Fiat cafe is a cash only establishment right outside soho. They have an atm downstairs and outdoor seating. We typically get the carbonara and penne with vodka sauce. The food is pretty cheap for the city and tasty. The service sometimes is a little poor as you may run out of water and it might take a bit longer to order/pay. It's nothing that will ruin your experience though.

I had the penne pasta with pink sauce. It was delicious. The portion is huge for the price. Overall the prices for everything are very modest compared to most restaurants in NYC. We both had pasta and agreed they were both wonderful. I visited with a friend who lives in the area. The owner knew my friend well, even what she ordered. There was only one server and one kitchen worker so service was somewhat slow. This is a great location for lunch. The inside is tiny and the tables are super close together. The decorations are very cute and overall a wonderful dining experience.

The food was good, I enjoyed my pasta even though there was no meat. The lights are dim inside at night so it has a romantic vibe to it.

I think this little cafe was super cozy and cute! It definitely felt like I was back in Italy. I came here for brunch and ordered the whole wheat toast with poached eggs, salmon, and cream cheese. The portion was decent. There wasn't too much seasoning on it which was fine but it wasn't spectacular either. My friend ordered the avocado toast and it looked quite small. We also split the French toast which looked very cute. It wasn't bad. Also if you check in you can get a free dessert with your meal so I ordered a tiramisu. It was super light and yummy. The waiters were also really nice. Overall not bad for the prices but there are better brunch spots in the city IMO. Would come again to try their lunch/dinner items though.

Nice, friendly, fun little neighborhood spot for for an Italian lunch on a beautiful summer day. Food was great and unpretentious. Service was very attentive without being overbearing. Definitely would return again!

Cozy place with inexpensive prices. The interior is super cute but they do have outdoor seating as well. I came on a weekend and there was no wait to get a table. I got the ricotta ravioli with balsamic sage. It was very vinegary and not the flavor I was expecting. I don't think the ricotta complemented with those flavors well. The waiter asked if we wanted cheese and totally forgot, but it's okay! You get what you pay for- the portion was pretty small. I could finish my meal within 20 minutes. Make sure to check in for free dessert!

Went here for brunch or some kind of sustenance today. Got seated outside and received water only. Multiple tables over the people looked like they had been sitting for a while and were just putting in their order. The waiters kept coming out and poking their head in and out of the outside area and not once did they come to us to ask what we were wanting to drink. Then the manager comes out and looks like he's upset with the waiter and a few minutes later comes to us and says gruffly get inside, I have a table inside and at that point this was the only other reaction we had with anyone and were so fed up so we left.

Great brunch spot! Prices are great, and all their menu items look so yummy. Staff is SUPER nice. But may be understaffed - we waited a while for our food. I'd be back though. Their pesto is amazing and I'd love to try other items.

This is a perfect neighborhood spot. The service is friendly and fast. The food is delicious and menu large. We had the eggs Benedict with perfectly cooked eggs and the penne special which was penne in a Gorgonzola cream sauce. To die for. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I ordered delivery from here and it was terrible. I got the Fusilli Pesto with potatoes, and the pesto was awful it had a fibrous texture (you can see it the picture). I had also ordered a San Pellegrino soda which was missing. Also the bag was ripped from one corner and the sauce/oil had leaked. Perhaps the food is better in person, but to echo another reviewer, do not order delivery.

Cute sit down spot off the beaten path. We went to sit outside (it was pretty cold) and were quickly ushered into the street seating by the incredibly welcoming and sweet hostess. We got the Ricotta Ravioli & Gnocchi - the ravioli was very good, gnocchi hit it out of the park. Casual atmosphere with fine dining taste, price is right in the middle. Great spot - just be aware they are CASH ONLY

We were on the search for bread pudding and found this gem. The drinks and the food were delicious (only sad part was no ice cream Or gelato with the bread pudding) but it didn't take away how delicious it was alone. To top off the great experience, the service was incredible and inviting! Definitely recommend

A little "hidden" gem. The restaurant itself is rather small, so the tables are pushed pretty close to each other. It was pretty busy on a Saturday noon so service was a bit slow but the food was so worth it. We ordered duck confit pasta and eggs Benedict. I also got a glass of mimosa. Duck confit -- the sauce was soooo rich and tasty. I believe they cooked it with truffle oil. There were generous portions of duck and mushrooms. 10/10 Eggs Benedict -- rather basic but a brunch staple. Muffin was nicely toasted. Eggs cooked to perfection. Generous amount of hollandaise sauce, which I appreciate. The muffin did become a bit hard to cut if you let it sit for more than 5 mins... I had to wrestle with my food. 9.5/10 Mimosa -- I was expecting a flute so I was pleasantly surprised by the glass. Definitely more alcohol to juice ratio. 10/10 also If you've reached down here, you're in for a treat. Check in on yelp for free dessert with entree (: limited to one voucher per table.

Came here for brunch with 2 others. Will start off by saying the place is cash only. Food: 4/5: We got 2 pastas and an omelette. The spinach and goat cheese omelette was only OK. It was fine but thought it wasn't super well put together / served and was a bit oily. The pastas (penne Gorgonzola and chicken pasta) were much better than expected and good value for the price. Ambience / service 3/5: The place is small / cute like a cafe. Our waitress was great and very helpful / attentive. However, docking major points because they had us sit outside but the heating wasn't working so it was pretty cold.

Great coffee and delicious brunch food. We stop here every-time we are in the area during morning/afternoon. The avocado toast with egg are outstanding. The French toast with berries is also delicious. The berries are always fresh. Great sangrias and coffee. The waitress who is usually there is an absolute sweetheart and very accommodating. We always leave brunch full and happy. However, we did stop by one evening for dinner and I was slightly disappointed. Our usual waitress was not there because she doesn't work evenings. I ordered eggplant parmigiana and it came not breaded, so was basically sautéed eggplant with cheese and sauce. I shared it with my son since he usually loves eggplant parmigiana but he kept choking on it, as the texture was too slimy. My husband ordered salad with grilled chicken and it was also very chintzy and just ok. More disappointing because I was saving my appetite expecting to have a great meal, but left hungry. Very upsetting as we expected dinner to be superb since brunch is always perfect. We will still gladly come here for breakfast and brunch, but probably won't come again for dinner.

I've lived in the Soho / Nolita neighborhood for years. Fiat Cafe has been a consistent go to for me for breakfast and lunch. Good menu, prices, and the staff and owner are great. On a nice block in the area. Very nice laid back vibe when you sit to eat. Highly recommended.

Got delivery from here, penne vodka entree and mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer and both were inedible. Also delivered in a ripped bag that had been dropped a few times, contents falling out. Do not order from this restaurant.

Food: 10 Service from the lady: 10 Service from the old man: 0 The food was impeccable!!! We got the tomato/garlic bruschetta and Fiat rigatoni it was delicious, especially paired with a Pinot Grigio As for the service... the lady who served / waited on my sister and I was so so so sweet and caring, she gave a great suggestion with the Fiat rigatoni. Unfortunately, there was a man there also working who did not seem too happy we had a service dog with us. He shooed my sister and her dog outside, at the end of our meal he actually threw the check at us and turned the heat lamps off above us (it was 40 degrees) before we even looked at the bill. He made us feel really unwelcome.

I ate here twice on my last visit to NYC and I absolutely love it. The neighborhood is colorful and great for people watching. The service at Fiat Cafe is fabulous. I can definitely recommend any of the salads on their menu. They have a bunch and the kale Caesar salad is my go to. Great spot! Eat here, you'll be delighted you did!

The food was mediocre and the server gave us the wrong food. Then when we got the check, she told us it's cash only. So I had to go to the basement atm to pay extra for a lame lunch experience with a completely unapologetic server.

Went here a while ago for my birthday ages ago. This review is very overdue. It's decent Italian. Definitely a place to try. I liked my food but not everyone liked their orders. Hot take: You either like it or don't. Small intimate dining space, can feel tight and chaotic. C'est NYC! Hot take #2: There are so many pasta places nearby that compete. It's a place to for a cute and intimate date night or hangout with a small group of friends.

The carbonara was really good! I had to add pepper to taste but was better than more expensive carbonaras in the city I've had. The vibe is really quaint and realistic to a cafe you would find in Italy. Service is fast. We ordered the bruschetta and the bread is out of this world too bad you don't get bread for the table. Honestly prob the best bread I've had. Only thing is the portions are smaller than what you would usually get in the area cuz little Italy is known for huge portions. Price is good

Super cute diner-esque cafe! Vintage/retro decorations that really bring the place together. Food was pretty good. The pancakes were really fluffy and delicious! Orange juice was freshly squeezed and was so refreshing. The woman who I believe is the owner(?) is the sweetest and kindest! Type of service alone that makes me want to come again.

Not as good as it used to be... however... it was never really that good before just affordable. Now it's priced like everything else and it's still below mids... bummer! Ok someone vindicate me here: if you're under 30, and didn't go to too many rock concerts, there's an extremely high-pitched, dog whistle-type sound that comes from the espresso machine every few minutes that makes you nauseous. That's the problem. Anyone else hear this?

*Cash only place* The food at Fiat was pretty good although nothing mind blowing, they have pretty good serving portions and decent presentation of their plates. The services was a bit hit or miss as we had to flag down the staff a few times even through the place was not very busy (or very big). It sits in a very fun pocket of NYC surrounded by many other small restaurants with open windows and street dining. Please note they are cash only - this is not very well announced other than in a small portion of their "wall menu" (at least that was the only place we saw it.

Little piece of Italy in nyc! Love the vibes, very homey and cozy. The mushroom and Asiago omelette was delicious. You HAVE to get the French toast! The best French toast I've ever had in my life!

This is the worst oatmeal I've ever had. Just ordered it to go, paid $13, and unwrapped a disgusting soup. This can't be right. I understand that traditional oatmeal should have some liquid but there is so much water there is no flavor. There is an extra full cup of water in here. Do not recommend.

The choices were kind of limited, but it's a very cute cafe. It's perfect to catch up with a friend because the ambiance is very chill and quiet. We came here for breakfast/brunch and nothing really struck me, so I just got the tartine(bread) with butter and jam. The only thing is this place only takes cash! It's very poorly indicated and we only found out when we wanted to pay the bill. Overall it's a cute spot, but personally I don't think I would come back.

******CASH ONLY****** We stopped by this place for a pasta dinner as it was recommended by our friend who had been there before. We were glad that it was open late and we were looking for a place where we didn't need to pay $20+ for one plate of pasta in Little Italy. However, the biggest thing for us was that this place is cash only and although we did not bring cash, there was an ATM in the basement of the place which had a service fee and would definitely recommend bringing enough cash beforehand if you do not want to go down there (trust me, you don't!). As for the food, we ordered fusilli with pesto and yukon gold potatoes, rigatoni bolognese, and a spaghetti carbonara for three people. The portion was actually a lot and we all had to get a to-go box because it was so filling. For the fusilli with pesto, the pesto was flavorful and the yukon gold potatoes were an excellent addition. The rigatoni bolognese was exactly what you would expect and you could really taste the tomatoes throughout. As for the spaghetti carbonara, it had the perfect ratio of meat to cheese to egg which was so delicious, and would definitely recommend this dish. The plates were presentable and tasted as good as they looked. Aside from our cash dilemma, our waiter was super sweet but we waited for a while for our food, our check, and packing all our food before leaving. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some pasta and you are in the area and I would definitely come back for its spaghetti carbonara. The atmosphere is also really calm and perfect for sitting down and chatting.

Good prices for pasta and food! I got takeout and the portions are pretty big! Pasta is soo good here. Especially the fettuccini Alfredo which I add chicken too. I've also gotten the melon prosciutto here and that was really good as well. My bf got the spaghetti carbonara and the spaghetti has that thick bounce to it.

This place is a cute and decent Italian eatery in LES. Be advised that this place is CASH ONLY. I've been here twice with friends for weekend brunches. If you call ahead of time, they are happy to accomodate larger parties. Each time, I was there with a party of 10+ people. The first time I went, I ordered the eggplant parm. It was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. The second time I went, I ordered the ravioli in sage brown butter sauce, The portion size was good, and the sauce was delicious. As an appetizer each time, I ordered the tomato eggplant bruschetta, and it was really good as well. I really enjoyed the desserts. My top 3 favorites were the chocolate mousse, the tiramisu and the bread pudding. All of my friends, except one lactose intolerant friend, enjoyed this place. (If you're lactose intolerant, I recommend a different location as many of the dishes use cream or butter).

After a disappointing morning on Wall Street I walked over to little Italy and figured I try something new. Found this spot, not to many people were outside since it was 90 degrees out. Grabbed a table out front, they have a brunch menu but I wanted something simple and got exactly what I was asking for. Paired with a Peroni, the chicken breast was exactly what I was craving, something about lemon and capers that pairs well. Waiter was cool, the decor inside is rustic, I wish I would have ordered wine and stayed longer, but that New York weather man.. Will be back soon.

Got two pasta dishes, a clams linguine and chicken rose sauce fettuccine. They both were ok. Maybe I got the wrong menu items so not sure if it was my bad luck. I think there are better options in the area. The service was good on a Saturday night.

Cute cafe! We were able to reserve a table for 9 of us..it's quaint inside but the menu is so good! Something for everyone. The eggs Benedict was great and the tiramisu was yummy!

Caught an early breakfast. NOTE - cash only. Very good wait staff. Coffees well made. Had scrambled egg sandwich (should have added bacon!) and whole grain toast with avocado and egg. TASTY Damages with tip for 2 was $40.

Pasta dishes were amazing and affordable! The resturant is very small and crapped so it gets loud and you gotta suck in to get to your table! Definitely with a trip!

I wanted to eat here, but my energy levels were Fiat as a pancake. I had a date with a beautiful Italian-American Girl and this is her favorite place to go in Manhattan so we came here and spent quite a lot of money on Ciabatta and drinks and whatever - and honestly it was okay. I like the ambiance and the girls that come here better than I like the actual stuff but it was still a nice experience.

I sat right next to the door on a cold day and the door kept opening so I had a meh experience - just to be honest this might impact my opinion because my pasta and latte got cold real fast and I ended up not finishing the pasta The coffee pannacota was really good though! IG: @phothegram
