Portland Ice Cream Company Fifty Licks Will Open a Shop in Slabtown - Eater Portland

"Fifty Licks will open its third location in Slabtown this spring. The new ice cream shop will be the largest, featuring flavors like soy sauce caramel and mango sticky rice. The new challenge for Draizin, the owner, is making half of the ice cream menu completely vegan." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Salt and Straw gets more press but purely based on delicious ice cream in classic and slightly more interesting flavor combos, Fifty Licks is where it's at.

Google
Nice to try but overall would prefer salt and straw. We tried: Matcha mochi French toast Mango sticky rice Coconut horchata The last two were my fav flavors. The employee said that they don’t have a limit on samples but we shouldn’t abuse our power, so already I was turned off. I’m very much used to trying all the seasonals with Salt & Straw and and I’m pretty sure their policy is to encourage customers try all the flavors. I didn’t like the texture of ice cream here either - felt like there was too much xantham gum in the mix. Overall this chain feels average - worth a try but not mind blowing.

We just had the Fifty Licks Food Truck at our wedding and it was so much fun and truly a highlight of the night! I had a friend say "I would eat ice cream all the time if it tasted like this" and here's the thing, it is always like this at Fifty Licks! I absolutely love the Mango Sticky Rice and their seasonal flavor Guava Swirl. The staff working the food truck was delightful and I highly recommend for your wedding or event!

Google
Fifty Licks Ice Cream, their flavors are inventive, vibrant, and full of personality. The Mango Sticky Rice is a standout-creamy, tropical, and perfectly reminiscent of the classic dessert with a delightful hint of sticky rice sweetness. The Coconut Lemon Saffron is a revelation: the smooth coconut base is brightened by zesty lemon and elevated with a subtle saffron twist that feels luxurious and unique. And of course, the Marionberry is everything you'd hope for in a local flavor-juicy, tangy, and bursting with the essence of Oregon's iconic berry. The shop itself has a welcoming vibe, and the staff are always friendly and eager to help you explore their creative menu. If you're in Portland and love ice cream that's anything but ordinary, Fifty Licks is a must-visit!

Google
They've got some pretty interesting flavours! The mango sticky rice and golden milk are really good and I would definitely recommend trying them out. Very friendly employees, they're very willing to let you sample the ice creams and also gave recommendations when I asked. Cute vibes as well, I loved stepping into the store. Would definitely recommend stopping by for some unique ice cream!

Google
It's ice cream but I wasn't impressed. The flavors fell short for me; they were too subtle for my taste. We tried lavender caramel, guave swirl, mocha and chocolate. I thought chocolate was the best out of all those. The waffle cone was too sticky and didn't have enough vanilla for my taste. The kids are theirs, but I didn't need to pay ice cream shop prices for that. Disappointed.

Google
One of my favorite ice cream shops in the city and some of the most fun, unique flavors that actually taste incredible. Mango sticky rice, matcha mochi, coconut lemon saffron, toasted milk, etc are all freaking delicious and I still can’t believe some of them are vegan (thanks to the fatty, creamy coconut milk, they stay rich and dense). Not a single bad flavor in this shop. The employees are always so nice and friendly too!

Alesya Kos

Google
Their flavors are delicious, any sample I tried was pretty great, definitely give the coconut lemon saffron a try, it's super smooth and a little tart. A cute location, perfect for taking a walk while enjoying your ice cream. Also, plenty of benches around. Highly recommend!

Google
Honestly had passed by here many of times but just not made it in. Finally got the chance to go and really enjoyed the ice cream. Feel like there were great flavor options and everything that I sampled was tasty. Wound up going with the banana foster (which was awesome) and the strawberry cheesecake. Next time probably will give the POG a go. Nice flavors and nice vibe. More of a tame move than the nearby salt and straw.

Yelp
Really cute spot with a fun, pastel vibe -- kind of like a little ice cream dreamland. The menu is a bit limited, but the flavors they do have are unique and taste exactly like what they promise. I especially appreciated the dairy-free options -- super tasty and satisfying. I liked it enough to come back a second time during our trip! The ice cream was so good, it definitely didn't last 50 licks.

Yelp
I like their flavors and churns. They aren't extra sweet or sugary. Flavors are authentic to their names. I'm glad we finally have a decent icecream place in the mall. The line goes pretty quick and one could try the flavors before the purchase. With dairy free options, they have something for everyone.

Yelp
Service was prompt and helpful. A small shake is 14 oz, up to two flavours. A large shake is 20 oz, up to three flavours.

Yelp
The BEST ice cream in the portland area , I absolutely love the variety of flavors , the waffle cone is also yummy and fresh! The inside looks cool & the employees are nice and helpful

Yelp
Great place that is open late. Came with a big group for ice cream. A lot of their flavors are vegan or coconut based which I'm not a huge fan of. I think I got the horchata flavor. Service was good but nothing memorable.

Yelp
My partner and I were on the hunt for a sweet treat post savory snacks and saw Fifty Licks was nearby. It's on a fun strip with lots of other night life foodie attractions to try. I had a hard time looking up the current menu, which totally could have been user error haha. I walked in thinking there would be matcha mochi offered and was super bummed that it wasn't there. Instead I got the toasted milk, which tasted like cereal milk (cinnamon toast crunch) and banana foster. The tastes were okay, I was expected a more banana Nila type of taste for the foster, so I was a bit let down. The toasted milk was enjoyable but it would be nice if they had some cereal pieces maybe thrown into the ice cream base for some texture. I got two small scoops- they were HUGE! Def not complaining there, I enjoyed every bit! My partner got the mango sticky rice. That was delicious, they did a great job with the coconut base. I would say it probably needed a bit more salt to elevate the flavors more because it was good but was missing a little oomph. Extra mango pieces would've been good too! Seating is quite limited in the store, but the walkable location makes walking out with the ice cream part of the experience.

Yelp
OMG - while I was a bit hesitant in the product, I am a big fan now of the vegetarian / vegan product offering. The ice cream was so tasty and have a variety of flavors. The staff was extremely helpful and allowed me to try a few varieties of the ice creams that were available to find the taste flavor I truly enjoyed. The space was welcoming, warm and comfortable. WE had friends in town from CT and D.C. show ere big fans and jealousy we live here and have access to Fifty Licks!

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday night around 6pm and it wasn't busy surprisingly! The inside is so cute and bright and very clean. I tried a couple samples and the worker described the ice creams perfectly which I really appreciated! I ended up with the brownie vs blondie ice cream which was delicious! My friend went with more fruity flavors and I tried her strawberry ice cream which was so flavorful! Will definitely come back again!
google avatar

Nooshi B.

Yelp
Great service and flavors. Love that they have an option for mini scoops so that you can enjoy a few different options. I had the brownie vs blondie and matcha mochi- both were tasty and flavorful. Their waffle cone is made fresh and not too thick, which I loved. Their prices are super reasonable and they have pints to go. Lines are long, but move quickly.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible service from Kayli. She was behind friendly and welcoming. The store itself was very clean - adorned hip decor and high ceilings. Don't forget to sample all their delicious flavors. After careful rumination, I decided on blueberry cheesecake and mocha mud pie. Divine flavors and textures led to an incredible mouthfeel. To top it off, be sure to add a gluten free waffle cone. Thanks!

Yelp
I came here with my friend after dinner for a sweet treat, and it was perfect! Walking inside, there's quite a bit of seating, with both booths and bar seats. The space is open, bright, and very colorful--I loved it. Staff here are so kind and patient. My friend and I tried a couple samples before deciding on our flavors. I got the mango sticky rice and it was so delicious. They keep true to their flavors and represent it very well. It's also not overly sweet and the perfect amount of creaminess. My friend and I got the kid's size and it was great for just a small sweet treat. I would love to come back.

Yelp
Haiku review: My favorite place So many unique flavors So hard to choose one Sprinkles on top please Double mini scoop just right I got a punch card

Yelp
Fifty Licks is a fantastic ice cream shop. I love how there's tons of unique, original flavors offered and some great takes on classic flavors. The service was great and the shop has some good tables inside to sit at. I got two mini scoops in a sugar cone. The mango sticky rice was ridiculously delicious. I loved the mango and coconut flavors. The matcha mochi was so good. The matcha flavor is present and the mochi adds great chewy bites to the scoop. I highly suggest visiting this ice cream shop.
google avatar

Yelp
I always want ice cream after dinner, but have to find a spot with vegan options for my partner! Fifty licks has a few great options, and although I'm not vegan I think the coconut lemon saffron is consistently my favorite flavor on the menu. The staff was super friendly and let us try as many flavors as we wanted! There is also plenty of seating inside to sit and eat your ice cream.

Yelp
a wonderful alternative to wanderlust !! i normally do not like the mango sticky rice at wanderlust back home because it is vegan... but it's vegan here as well... and it was SAUR GEWD. the matcha mochi was my second favorite, and the brownie vs blondie wasn't so bad either but i didn't want something tooo sweet . my bf got the banana foster and it reminded him of vietnamese flavors -- gave me banana bread vibes! also the staff was very patient and sweet. would want to try and sample everything hmMmmM (we basically did ahahah)
google avatar

Katherine C.

Yelp
I appreciate that they label which ice cream flavors are gluten free and vegan. I was able to try a bunch of different flavors without feeling rushed, and they have a variety that has at least a flavor or two for every taste. My favorite was the matcha mochi - good matcha flavor, and the mochi bits were good texture. I also like that their vegan ice cream was just as creamy as their non-vegan ones. The seating inside is pretty limited but there are 3 big tables for a larger group if you can snag one.

Yelp
My friends and I have been coming to Fifty Licks for years, and we always have a great time. Overall, we'll definitely keep coming back! Ambiance: 5/5 This is such a fun dessert spot, perfect for hanging out with friends and chatting. It's always clean and spacious, with plenty of room to relax. The restroom is shared with other restaurants and bars in the building and is accessible through a hallway, which is convenient. Service: 5/5 The staff here are always super friendly and generous with samples, which we really appreciate! Food: 4.8/5 Matcha Mochi: Our absolute favorite flavor! Mango Sticky Rice Burnt Honey Lavender Salted Caramel Each flavor is spot on and tastes just like you'd expect!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a vibrant place with unique flavors! I got the lavender salted caramel and it was so delicious. They give samples so definitely try some before deciding on a flavor. The service is so nice and friendly! The inside is clean w ample seating inside and a bench to sit on outside.

Yelp
Delicious, novel flavors, and good help behind the counter, thank you. My favorite is the mango sticky rice. Try it next time you are visiting

Yelp
I think this is the best ice cream ever. I recently ended up here on a hundred degree day. It was a Tuesday but was surprised it wasn't more crowded I brought my family to approve my claim. My wife thought it was good but not the best ever. My son said it was the second best ever. I love how thick and creamy the base it. I love the fun flavors and to me none of them were duds. Great friendly and helpful service. I felt very comfortable there. I'll be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Chocolate AF = tasty AF. FYI Mini double is sufficient amount of ice cream, but double classic is only $2 more and double the amount of ice cream, so get that instead and split. Chocolate coconut caramel also quite good. I was unimpressed with mocha mud pie, burnt honey, & mango sticky rice. Sadly, the verdict is salt & straw is still better.
google avatar

Yelp
What a delightful ice cream shop for dairy and non dairy lovers alike! It's been a while since I've stopped by Fifty Licks but I just love the simple pastel aesthetics. It really makes for such a chic space. They have unique flavors I've never seen in other shops but also classic flavors with a local twist. The servers were friendly since they answered our questions and explained some of their favorite flavors to us. I got a double mini of the Mocha Mudpie and Chocolate Coconut Caramel. Both are non dairy flavors and they both tasted amazing! I really appreciate when ice cream shop offers non dairy flavors that have complexity and taste similar to their dairy counterpart. I really like how creamy both the ice cream flavors were. Definitely need to hit up this spot again soon!

Yelp
I've said it all and I'll say it again, Fifty Licks is the goatest goat of all ice cream. They finally have indoor seating!! Sprint, don't run. They also have the cutest bowls for dine in use. They also don't limit samples. Win, win, win!! To keep it short and sweet, go to Fifty Licks and give them all the support!
google avatar

Yelp
I decided to try this ice cream shop since it's a Portland chain. I ordered a double classic of cornbread honey butter and mango sticky rice. The ice cream is expensive, but it was so rich and decadent and I loved both flavors. Service was fast and friendly as well. They have some tables and chairs right outside the shop if you want to enjoy your ice cream right then and there. You can pick two flavors for the double classic or the double mini. They do offer a loyalty stamp card, for those of you who are locals.

Yelp
Wow, Wow, Wow! Fifty Licks! You have my clear attention! Please stop by and try Fifty Licks! This place is sensational! First & foremost, the overall aura or vibe of the store is unlike any other ice cream establishment I've set foot in. The interior design is wonderful! I really love the color schemes inside the establishment. This drew my attention from the get. Ice cream flavors? You got it. They have amazing ice cream flavors for your pallet. You will not, I repeat, you will not be disappointed. The flavors are phenomenal and the taste even better!!!! Come check out Fifty Licks with you significant partner, family, friends, or whomever you're rolling with. Have fun and enjoy! From: Your neighborhood friend :)

Yelp
PERFECT PLACE FOR... Late night ice cream with vegan + GF options :) I'm so happy they finally reopened + we can now sit/order inside. FOOD/DRINKS/SERVICE While I wish they had a bit more flavors to choose from, I'm happy with the options + flavors they do have. I opted for their CHOCOLATE COCONUT CARAMEL as a waffle cone + hit the spot. I do want to try their more unique flavors; MANGO STICKY RICE next time. While still sitting inside just before closing, I did my best to finish up quickly so they could get to cleaning/closing. But the staff told me to take my time + I really appreciated that :) BONUS POINTS Multiple locations throughout Portland but I've only been to the NE Burnside location so far. Also they do allow samples.

Yelp
The hubby and I checked out Fifty Licks one night during our most recent trip to Portland. There was a decent line in front of us and everyone was ordering the blood orange creamsicle so I did the same. I ordered a classic single scoop but split so I could get two half scoops. I got a mini scoop of blood orange creamsicle and a mini scoop of coconut lemon saffron. The scoops were large and could've passed for a double scoop. The coconut lemon saffron was my favorite. It was super bright and had a nice flavor, creamy and smooth. The creamsicle didn't do much for me and lacked the classic orange creamsicle flavor. My husband ordered a double scoop in a cup with the brownie vs blondie and a scoop of the bananas foster. He was disappointed in both flavors. I tried the brownie one and agree that it tasted like milk with really soaked cookies. There were two small tables outside but the inside of the shop is closed off and inaccessible to customers. It's an order at the door situation where you order, pay and the person taking your order relays the order to the person scooping ice cream. It'll be nice when they decide to reopen and allow people inside to escape the cold and rain.

Yelp
This has to be one of my most favorite desserts this trip to Portland. Their ice cream has the best texture and the perfect amount of toppings in it mixed in. I got the mocha mud pie and the cornbread honey butter ice cream and they had so much goodness mixed in. Gotta say, one of the best ice cream spots I've been to in a long time time!! Great service as well. Make sure to ask for samples and tip after!
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
Empty on a cold Monday night. After some ramen across the street, we still had room for dessert! Since there was no one there, we had the pleasure of getting to taste all the flavors we wanted. lol We eventually decided on the mango sticky rice - their most popular choice, and it was good! I think the other two were lavender something and a mocha/coffee flavor. Chosen by the sisters. Also tasty but not my favorites. I did try oregon strawberry - tasted very fresh but nothing unique. POG was nice and tart and tasted REAL, not artificial if you know what I mean. The best part really is you are allowed to get these mini scoops which is perfect for folks like me who like to eat a little bit of different flavors.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome flavors! Mango sticky rice was spot on. Golden milk was sort of a yellow curry flavor. Yummy
google avatar

Yelp
Being an avid salt and Straw lover (I know , I know I am a cliché ) going to fifty licks only happens if we are right across from it . I love the vibe -the color palette and the ambience all seem very bougie . The store also is often crowded which is a testimony to how popular they are . We tried a couple different flavors and Personally I liked none and didn't end up buying anything. My hubby though got a scoop of the Mud pie . They are generous with the portions and the waffle cone was also pretty good . The Ice-cream was just average imo . I have had Fifty Licks multiple times and I think this has been my experience every single of those times . I know they have some avid fans but to me none of their flavors stand out .
google avatar

Robin M.

Yelp
Fifty licks has a vegan menu, but is not all vegan. When I went, they were remodeling, so they had a little ice cream stand set up at the front door. You would walk up, order what you want, pay, and they would hand it to you. I ordered an ice cream cone, because I'm a child. But when they handed it to me, it was in a bowl with the cone sticking up like a hat. When I asked about it, they said they always serve their cones in bowls, so that just seemed really wasteful. So, I'm deducting a star for them not giving a shit about the environment. I recommend the mocha mud pie flavor if you like coffee and chocolate.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
the little asian girl working the counter had the BIGGEST bitchy attitude for no reason. she said we could sample flavors and when she passed the spoon to me, she let go before I grabbed it and it dropped. it was so obvious she was pissed off by that. She proceeded to slam all the freezer doors and even slammed and slid our cups of ice cream across the counter. No manners, incredibly rude, would not go back
google avatar

Sean C.

Yelp
I love fifty licks. I love fifty licks so much I wish that I could get some sent to my house monthly. When I was in town, I was able to grab the honey butter cornbread flavor and I will forever be on the lookout for something similar in every ice cream place I walk into. I cannot wait to be back to Portland to get back and try more!
google avatar

Terry K.

Yelp
My one and only ice cream spot during my trip and it was so good! I got a double mini on a cone with Cornbread Honey Butter and Bananas Foster! The ice cream was super creamy and stayed true to their flavors. I do prefer more bite/chunks in my ice cream but nonetheless I still enjoyed my icecream. The interior is all pink and the staff was friendly, letting me try samples of many flavors before making my decision.
google avatar

Wells L.

Yelp
TL:DR - Super super creative flavors that actually deliver. The ice cream itself is top notch, but no better than any other good ice cream spots. If you like cake chunks, you won't be disappointed with the blondie vs. brownie, it is delicious. But the mango sticky rice is unbelievably close to the real thing, smooth creamy and fruity. This place is going to be hard to beat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- As I've said in many other reviews of ice cream spots, there is a real ceiling to how good the quality of your ice cream can get. And most really good spots can hit that pretty easily. Thinking Humphry Slocombe in the bay, Jeni's in the midwest, Clementines from STL. Fifty licks has that down pat. But what makes fifty licks stand out for me is their flavor combos, the imagination of some of these things, and their execution is top notch. Even looking at all of their flavors, I was o man that sounds amazing, and then trying them I was even more impressed by how well it was executed. I tried a few, but the blondie vs. brownie was my favorite as I love a good vanilla ice cream and love the chewy texture of both the blondie and brownie and the chunks were super generous. I ended up trying a little of my friends mango sticky rice, and that works so unbelievably perfectly and legit my be my single favorite ice cream flavor ever. Unbelievably smooth and I love that it's almost like a mango swirl jam or jelly vs. chunks of real mango which can get really tart/sour sometimes. But we came in about 10 min before close and while the staff was prepping to close and hesitated when we asked if they were still open, they still served us with a great attitude and we didn't linger too long. All in all, this is easily one of my favorite ice cream spots anywhere. The flavors are creative, but still just give you want you want, vs. trying to be ridiculously overly fancy. I will 100 be back.

Yelp
Yum!! This was our first time trying Fifty Licks and we were very happy with the variety of flavors and taste of the ice cream. There are some outdoor tables available and you order at the door (currently no indoor seating). We ordered two mini scoop waffle cones. I got the mango sticky rice and mocha mud pie and both were sooooo good. I typically go for more chocolatey flavors but decided to try the mango sticky rice since it's the most popular flavor and I'm SO glad I did! Seriously so delicious and I loved how the mocha flavor had mud pie bites throughout. The matcha mochi and chocolate af flavors were excellent too!! I'm excited to come back to try the French toast and other flavors. The only complaint I have is that the cones were given to us upside down in a cup with a spoon. Not a big deal but we thought it was wasteful since we didn't use them! Also, the waffle cone was a little of the chewier side and I prefer it crunchy, however it still tasted super good. Overall, I highly recommend this place. They have great dairy and non dairy options that taste delicious and fulfill any craving for dessert. I will definitely be back to try other flavors!
google avatar

Kelsey C.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this ice cream! Subtler flavors, amazing taste! The Fig & Chevre is amazing, with ripe figs and goat cheese cream. Lavender Salted Caramel has lots of lavender but I do wish it had more caramel. Cornbread Honey Butter tastes like you were breading your butter. Lots of cornbread crumbs, great texture. Mango Sticky Rice is a marvel. A vegan ice cream but you can't even tell they subbed the milk. It tastes exactly like that beloved Thai dessert. EXACTLY. Amazing ice cream, best I've had to date. I'd take 12 pints home if I could.
google avatar

Clarissa V.

Yelp
It wasn't my favorite ice cream or the kids shockingly. They weren't that excited about their usual favorite flavors of vanilla and chocolate The ice creams tasted more like pudding ice creams if that's your kind of thing. Funny names tho!
google avatar

Mason Finn K.

Yelp
All of the ice creams I tried were outstanding! I wish I could eat the dairy options because they looked amazing too. The Mango Sticky Rice is gluten free and vegan and tastes exactly like it's namesake. I would highly recommend! The service was fast and I got plenty of samples. Then when I chose my flavor I got it quick! The interior of the store was simple yet cool. And the outside had a nice selection of seats. The weather was very hot when I went but the ice cream did help! P.s. my friend Cody has a strange "no sample policy" but at Fifty Licks I recommend you don't follow suit! Try as many as you want because you are bound to find one you love!
google avatar

Yelp
Mocha mud pie, Oregon strawberry, mango sticky rice, lavender salted caramel. Super nice workers. Simple decor. Every time we come to Portland we come here for ice cream
google avatar

Pin E.

Yelp
Fun ice cream flavors and amazing service! I tried their matcha mochi and strawberry cheesecake flavors! The texture is creamy and sweetness is good (a little bit on a sweeter side). The shop also has a very cute vibe - you can bring a date here :)

Yelp
Visited Fifty Licks today! I must say the choices of flavors were very different so tasting began. I tasted the Cirnbread Honeybutter, which had corn meal throughout it. I moved on to Burnt Honey. It was good, but that wasn't it for me. Then I tried the Lavender Salted Caramel. That one was good too, but the lavender threw it off a little. So I went back to the Cornbread Honeybutter and ordered a scoop. I really enjoyed it. It wasn't overly sweet The cornmeal wasn't overpowering, it was the right amount Next time I visit I want to try the Toasted Milk. Here I go with my rating; I give Fifty Licks a 9.5 out of 10.
google avatar

Alyssa R.

Yelp
service was nice but wayyyyy to expensive for the size of scoop and flavors. Mediocre and not worth the money. Mango sticky rice really isn't all that good
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
Lives up to the hype... even the vegan flavors are amazing. The staff is super nice and encourages testers which I really appreciated as there were many great choices
google avatar

Jacqueline N.

Yelp
First time trying this place and I was disappointed they don't do samples because they have very unique flavors that I really wanted to try but didn't know if I would like. I did a small scoop with 2 flavors and got lavender salted caramel and then the honey cornbread. Texture was great for both, very smooth rich and creamy but I felt like the flavors could have been stronger for both. Overall a decent place for ice cream. Service was great!
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
Yum! Fifty Licks has some of the best ice cream in Portland. This was my first time at this location and it was just as good as al the others. My two favorite flavors are hood strawberry and chocolate AF. The chocolate is so chocolatey, it's like ganache in ice cream form. So good. My only issue was that they put my cone in a cup, which is just really wasteful. I intentionally ordered a cone so as to creates no waste.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing! I try to avoid dairy, but once in a while I'll make an exception for something extra special. I know this place has non-dairy options, but for ice cream, dairy is a must for me, lol! The place itself is cute, clean, minimal yet fun. I love the pastel colors and bubble-like light fixtures! The flavors were so delicious, fresh, and unique. It was so hard to choose what to get! I ended getting the Lavender Salted Caramel and the Cornbread Honeybutter mini double. Oh my gosh--so delicious! Lavender and salted caramel are two of my favorite flavors for ice cream, so to have them together was just heavenly. The cornbread has a great comfort food factor and actually has real bits of cornbread in it! It reminded me of when I was a kid and my dad used to eat cornbread and milk together (kind of like a cereal-type thing) which is a unique pairing IMO. I also tried the Toasted Milk and Black Sesame, the first one being very soft and subtly flavored and the later packing a small distinct punch. Both really good! Not only are the flavors fantastic, but the people working there are great. The guy who helped take my order was really friendly and patient while I was deciding on a flavor combination. Love this place, and I see why it has such great reviews!

I've tried all the popular spots but Fifty Licks is the one that made me think I'd never try any other ice cream place cause it has everything I'm looking for. My sister is coming this week from CA and we'll definitely stop by :)
