"Fig and Olive is basically the Carrabba’s of people taking industry meetings. This national chain is serving French/Mediterranean/something like that food and everything is pretty by-the-books. You’ll eat a burrata crostini your client will point and mouth the word “yes!” to and a $40 Chilean sea bass you’ll be thankful is going on the company credit card. The bright, open space is certainly nice enough, but it doesn’t matter when everyone in there is eating with someone they assume is dicking them over." - Brant Cox

"Fig & Olive is an international chain that makes Mediterranean-ish food like salmon burgers and burrata crostini, and their expansive location in Meatpacking is a perfectly pleasant place to stop in-between boutique hopping. The best time to come here is during the day, when light streams into the big, breezy dining room through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and all you hear is silverware clinking and soft chatter at the bar. The food is pretty basic and priced up for the area, with sandwiches and entrees ranging from $24-$42, but if The Standard Grill is too crowded, this is the next best place around to get some mezze and chicken paillard at 1pm." - Neha Talreja

I absolutely loved my experience at Fig & Olive. I sat at the bar for Happy Hour and Chris (bartender) was awesome. He had great suggestions about both the food & drink menu. I would recommend. What we had: - Wild Mushroom Croquettes (amazing, rich, creamy, flavorful) - Crostinis - Mediterranean Dip Trio (bread was so soft) -Tuna Meatballs (Not preferred, tuna in a red sauce didnt quite deliver) - Drink (Sirocco - tequila based, refreshing/light)

Enjoyed a quiet lunch on a sunny day with warm rays gracing our table through the big windows while we took in an elevated view down Oak Street. Tasty burger and truffle fries was balanced out nicely with a Caesar salad and side of absolutely delectable shrimp (🔥🔥🔥). The Fig & Olive signature cocktail lived up to its eponymous title (I didn’t want to out it down). Excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere to boot! Worth visiting again 🥂

Came here for dinner with friends and made a reservation ahead of time. You have to take the elevators up to the dining room and it isn’t super clear from when you enter the building. Dinner has option of a set menu or ordering what you want. You can sit either in the lounge area or at the dining area - we chose the lounge since you have a nice view of the street and can look out when you want. We had the Burrata, Tuna Crudo, Octopus, Lamb and Paella and it was all delicious. The paella was on the spicy side though. For dessert we had the Lemon & Olive Oil Cake and it was tasty. The dining area can be quite loud bc of background music and also all the tables around ya talking loudly, so be prepared to speak at a higher volume. The servers were friendly and kept coming to fill up our waters without needing to ask them. Overall the food portions were not huge but if you order to share everyone in a small group can definitely try out everything.

We had a very nice lunch here today. The food was very good. I had a hamburger, my wife had a salmon burger, and my son had the salmon salad which came with blackened shrimp. We had the Cristini Trio appetizers and then we shared a cheesecake for dessert with caramel and passionfruit sauce. Always very well. I’m a little surprised that it wasn’t crowded for lunch. There weren’t many people there. I wonder why? I never see this place advertised. I think maybe they should. The food is great.

We had a reservation for brunch and showed up on time. There were 6 of us in our group and we were seated on the third floor. When we looked at the menu, we didn’t like what was on it for brunch. We asked if we could see the Dinner menu and were told they aren’t serving dinner so we cannot order dinner. Then we asked how much longer we would need to wait if we wanted to order dinner and the answer was an hour. So we asked for appetizers and ordered Labneh and Baba Ghanoush. By the time the apps were brought out and we finished them, it was close to an hour and we asked if we could order dinner now. The server seemed reluctant to let us order dinner for some reason. Eventually, we were allowed to order dinner. The appetizers were great, so we were really looking forward to dinner. The people who brought out the apps were very friendly and nice, however, the person serving our table was absolutely terrible and had the worst attitude, no smile, and seemed like they hated their job. This person should not be in a customer facing role in a nice higher end restaurant, they are the face of the restaurant and completely killed the mood. A few of us ordered the Amalfi seafood risotto and it was fantastic. One person ordered the Moroccan spiced salmon and they really liked it. Two others ordered the lamb top sirloin and Free range brick chicken and they also really liked their food. The only reason I’m giving this restaurant a 4 star instead of 5 star is specifically the experience we had with the server. Frankly, I should have given a 10% tip or less for their terrible service but I didn’t do that. The food was very good but I’m not sure I’d go back again because the bill was $235 and after the tip it was $280 with extremely terrible service. When we were leaving the server was sitting by the elevator, clearly saw us leaving and didn’t have a single thing to say, not even a simple thank you for coming. To sum up my experience, the food was great and the server behaved as if they gave us a free meal and did us a favor by allowing us to eat there.

Atmosphere was calm, clean & peaceful. Our waiter was Charlie who had a great positive personality. Provided an explanation of the menu and made some good recommendations. The absolute best truffle mushrooms I have ever had. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

I went in for cocktails (the F&O) and mocktails (the au jardin). Both delicious. I’m excited to return to try the food. We had to go up the back door due to tech elevator maintenance and I thought the little tablecloth on the boxes was funny. Shoutout to patrick for making our night so enjoyable. 🫶🏾

My team and I came here for a meeting and we use to frequent the ones in NY. The atmosphere I amazing and cocktail drinks were great. The main bar needed another bartender and the food was ok nothing that stood out to se it’s a must. We ordered meatball tartar, lamb appetizer, mix salad, hummus. Mark was very attentive and gave great service.
