My husband and I went here for date night and it was overall a lovely experience. The host (seemed like perhaps the owner?) was just lovely and it was worth the ~10-15 min wait. A little louder than I’d prefer but understandable for a Friday evening. Everything was utterly delicious. We wanted to split one pasta and one pizza, but the pasta is made with egg and I have an egg intolerance so instead we got two pizzas. I got the spirit-free Rosemary Collins to drink and I loved it. We’ll be back, especially since I see they do offer gluten free versions of some menu items (and I will need to be gluten free in the future).

I really loved this spot! If you’re looking for great flavors, fresh ingredients, and a nice time, you should come here. Out of all the pizza I’ve tried in Astoria, nothing compares to Figlia!! Lots of delicious appetizers and great pizza selections. The octopus was SO good. Most places overcook it but here it was soft, juicy, yet had that nice char from the grill. The pizzas were so tasty and yummy!!

the food was amazing, we loved the pizza so much! we tried their seasonal one. they have dipping spreads we fried the feta one which i loved. perfect for crust dipping ✨ the octupas was great too. the atmoshere is chill, a cute neighbourhood restaurant. its nice to walk around as well.

Definitely the best Neopolitan pizza in Astoria, and the best Amatriciana I have ever had. The owner Ricardo is an ubermensch - super generous and friendly, and Luis behind the bar is always so welcoming and engaging - and he makes some killer cocktails. The margherita pizza is absolutely perfect - the dough is perfectly seasoned and never comes out floppy or soggy. The sauce is light and fresh. The balance of ingredients couldn’t be better. The cacio e pepe pizza is definitely worth trying. The amatriciana and radiatore pastas are amazing but all the pastas are delicious. The grilled octopus rivals any Greek restaurant in Astoria. The meatballs melt in your mouth. HIGHLY recommended!

Best Italian in Astoria. Best Pizza in Astoria. Best Pasta in Astoria. My wife and I adore this spot. The owner and staff are the sweetest folks around. The ingredients are so purposeful and the attention to detail is magnificent. Surrounded by a team that truly celebrates its cuisine and service. We always leave smiling. Hot Tip: order the Purple Rain cocktail.

Went with friends who live in Astoria after they raved about this place. Boy were they correct. Great menu great service. All our appetizers, riceballs, burrata and octopus delicious. Our pasta dishes and pizza were terrific. Def recommend and def going back.

My parents and I went there for the first time on New Year’s Eve, it was amazingly delicious. The service was very great. The food was not bad, however in my personal opinion was very awesome and I would come back for lunch sometime on my own or with my grandparents or with my family again. It’s a really great atmosphere and I can hear the sounds of the Amtrak trains passing by. Thank you Figlia, I’ll come back again anytime soon before I move out to Northport.

Very good service and all staff is helpful and friendly. Delicious food and cocktail. Most of all, very nice environment for dinning either you are on your own or on a date or with friends. It’s definitely a nice hidden gem in the neighborhood. Recommend!

I am a big fan of consistency and quality food. Figlia has outstanding service, a very relaxing environment, and definitely freshly made food . This time I tried pasta dish along with a pizza. I selected the Rigatoni Bolognese made with veal/pork ragu and parmigiano reggiano . The pasta was al dente and filling . Flavor galore ! For my pizza choice , I went with Cacio e Pepperoni - baked with fior di latte, caciocavallo/pepperoni/hot honey/whipped ricotta and zest . I have to say whoever curates these pizza designs really know how to put it all together with the perfect ingredients. This pizza was amazing. Again, I have to note that the restaurant definitely uses high-quality ingredients. You can tell by the look of the food when it's served and most definitely by the taste. Figlia has to be one of the best additions to Astoria. Queen is one Burrough when it comes to food. ** I would suggest you arriving as soon as the restaurant opens at night. They fill up quickly. Parking is street parking only, and it is a three minute walk from the Ditmars Boulevard stop off the N train**

Figlia~ I went with my husband on a much needed date night. We live just a block away and have been dying to try this place out. And they did not disappoint! What can I say about this place other than everything was excellent. The food, the service, the ambience... It felt like an authentic Italian bistro. There was a table having a girls' night. A few couple date night tables. And a regular, having a yummy meal alone. We ordered pizza and a pasta dish. Their dough and pasta are out of this world. And although I was full, I decided to order a dessert because I can never pass up a tiramisu. And I am so glad I did! I highly recommend coming here for a casual dinner night, or for a special occasion!

Went here for a date night, found parking around the block. It was a crowded night but luckily a couple was leaving and we got seated quickly. It's not the biggest place but there is a beautiful setting with some tables and a bar. Service was some of the best I've had also. We had burrata and tomato to start it was amazing and good portion . I had the Salerno side car which was one of the best drinks I've had very tasty and gave me a nice feeling. My girlfriend doesn't like whiskey ever but she tried it and fell in love with the nice orange taste. She tried to trade her drink for mine but it was too good lol I couldn't give it up. (Don't worry I gave her some sips). We then had the rigatoni bolognese paparadelle both were amazing dishes highly recommend.

Solid pasta! I think they're advertised as a pizza restaurant though so I should try that next time. I got the pasta with italian sausage and basil pesto sauce. The pasta itself was very interesting, I really liked the shape and size of it, so easy to handle and a savory mouthful each bite. However, I was a little sad that the pesto sauce was more watery than creamy! But that's just my preference. The service was amazing and so kind, and the atmosphere was so nice. Simple, but elevated and felt cozy. I'd definitely try this place again for the pizzas!

Came here on a last minute date night and was able to get seated right away without a reservation! They have a very cute set-up in the evening with candles on every table. We got the Radiatore Con Salsiccia and Cacio E Pepperoni. The cacio e pepperoni pizza was good and tasted as described. I only wished the crust wasn't as thick as it was; however, it was still pretty good. The crust size is honestly my personal preference but I think others could enjoy this dish. I absolutely loved the radioatore con salsiccia. This was a favorite for both me and my partner. The consistency of the pasta was perfectly al dente and I loved the pesto sauce. I would definitely come back here again for the pasta.

Pepperoni pizza was yummy. Solid dough. Lamb pasta was good as fresh pasta always a plus. Salad was ok. Didn't like meatballs. Enjoyed the tiramisu. Good atmosphere; good service. Friend liked her drinks. Would come back and def get the pizza again!

Walked in on NYE thinking it would be way too busy, and it was....BUT there was one table ready for my date & I. There was a gentleman who was so friendly and welcoming. The initial vibes were very welcoming, airy, minimal decor and clean lines. My date & I did our homework before so we knew we were going for pies. Our server was so friendly and on it! She was friendly, attentive and gave us her recommendations. I got a glass of the Chianti, which was very light. We got the Cacio e Pepperoni, which was easily the #1 pick - there is something about cheese, pepperoni drizzled with hot honey and blessed with a dollop of sweet ricotta! To balance out our #1 pick, we chose the Burrata & Pomodoro, which went well with their house made chili oil. Their pizza was thin crust and we didn't leave overly stuffed. Definitely coming back to try the pasta. Great addition to the neighborhood.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere! It's super cozy and cute, highly recommend if your going out on a date . The pizza was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. I also tried their arugula salad and of course their burrata! Enjoy!

Wow just wow. I had a slice from this restaurant at the Chelsea market in NYC, and it was my first time having prosciutto ever... might I say it was 15/10. I came because I was so hungry, needed something quick and easy.

a solid spot in astoria !!! my fav route is to get pizza here and gelato at figo :) the food: got the mushroom pizza and burrata pizza, chive aglio e olio, and gem caesar salad. the mushroom pizza was a little too heavy for me but i loved the burrata!! the pasta was rlly good in texture but i wish i got a different sauce bc it lacked flavor. the drinks: i got the aperol spritz, tasted like grapefruit ade! the space: big inside!! didn't wait on a friday night the service: helpful!

Our first visit here was lackluster. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks. We each started with a cocktail; I got the Negroni and he got their version of an aperol spritz. We decided to share a pizza and a pasta. The pizza was their pomodoro & burrata. It came out to us quickly and I did appreciate the slightly chewy crust with a bit of that charcoal flavor. The pasta is where everything went wrong. We got the rigatoni bolognese. That arrived right as we were down to our last two slices of pizza. I took a small serving and tasted the pasta. It was revolting. Yes, revolting. Each bite tasted like dirty dish water. It's the best way I can explain it. The meat sauce was flavorless. I tried a few more bites and just couldn't stomach the taste of it. While I'm doing fine the morning of, he has been having gut-wrenching stomach pains, having eaten more of the pasta than I did. He is attributing it to the meat in the pasta. Unfortunate. Needless to say, our trip to Figlia was a short one and there would need to be lots of improvement before heading back.

I visited Figlia with my 3 friends for dinner, and we were very excited to try this new place as local Astorians. The interior atmosphere is dimly lit and inviting. The service was very good, and our waiter was very attentive! We shared a bottle of the Chardonnay, Chamisol ($46) which wasn't very acidic and paired well with our food. We got the Burrata and Pomodoro pizza and Caesar salad to share. The pizza wasn't as hot as we thought it would be served. It was lukewarm. I could have made a pizza from Trader Joe's and it would be on par with this. For $22 and 6 small slices, I would say it was not worth it. Maybe if the temperature was hotter, the flavors and textures would make it more palatable. However, the ingredients did taste fresh for everything we tasted. The Caesar salad ($15) was small and underdressed for our liking. I tried the Radiatore Con Salsiccia- italian sausage, rapini pesto, pangrattato ($23) and the Rigatoni Bolognese- veal & pork ragu, grana padano ($22). Both pastas were flavorful. The predominant flavor I tasted for both was garlic, which I love. The Radiatore was a bit bitter from the broccoli rabe and could do with more grated cheese and pepper. The Rigatoni was more flavorful sauce than the Radiatore. The Rigatoni had a delicious meat sauce with carrots that I would eat again. The space is relatively small, but it's great that you can look into the kitchen and food being prepared. It was a little awkward when the line of people waiting to be seated stood among the tables as they waited. There is one restroom facility in the restaurant. It was kept clean and smelled nice with the luxurious reed diffuser. Maybe they're still working out some kinks as they have recently opened. My party and I sincerely wish the best of luck to the owners opening this new business. I hope to see it succeed and improve. I'm open to coming back in a month or so to see if anything has changed.

First noticed Figlia last weekend while walking past and learned they were opening in a few days, so decided to try it. I expected it to be quiet since it was new, but it was packed, so they are off to a good start. The staff was awesome, with a full dining room and bar, 1 waiter, 1 bus boy and the owner, I was so impressed with how well they did. No long waits, no issues in service, seemed like no new opening kinks to work out. They have a lovely wine list; both the Montepulciano D'Abruzzo and the Primitivo were both very good, especially with the food. We started off with the Caesar Salad and the Meatballs. The salad was cold and crisp and bursting with freshness, I could have used a little more dressing, but it was so good. The meatballs were just wonderful. Seemed mostly veal based (I could be wrong), but they were light and delicious, covered in a lovely bright sauce with some toasted bread, we mopped it all up. The star of the show is the pizza, made with fermented dough and cooked in a wood burning oven, it was nothing short of amazing. We opted for the Nudja and Burrata version which also included a lovely sauce and sweet red onions. The Nudja was slightly spicy which was balanced out by the onions; it was fantastic. The pizza crust, is so flavorful and delicious we didn't leave a crumb behind. The table next to us did not eat their crust and my husband couldn't believe they were leaving it behind. It was a sin. From the buzz of their first weekend, they may be an instant success and for my taste buds' sake I hope they are because I can not wait to go back.

We had tried to visit Figlia many times, but the crazy opening hours around 5 pm never quite matched our schedule. Having said that, there is no doubt that Figlia is an excellent addition to the neighborhood. Our first visit was back in June, and we found Figlia to be much bigger than we had imagined. The staff and the service were excellent, BUT our meal could have been better. Before we arrived, we decided that we had eaten enough pizza and needed a break. Faglia has great pizza, but we wanted a change. We asked around for suggestions. We only found the pappardelle to be a reasonable alternative on the day we arrived, so we ordered it for two. The pappardelle was made with ground beef and large noodles, but unfortunately, it had no taste and was unflavored; there was almost no sauce, and the meat in the noodles was dry. What a disappointing day. Yes, they are worth a second try.... who knows when?

Let's just say there's no place like Figlia, this place is a new entrant to the scene but, brings an exceptional form, from the time you enter til the time you leave! The service is superb, the attention to detail is beyond, see Luis at the bar and be truly at home. Homemade pastas and truly artisanal pizza is to die for, they truly care about what they are serving and support the small purveyors, I would say that they are one of the top Astoria destinations and bring a Manhattan vibe to our community.

Figlia has AMAZING food! Sooo delicious. The pizzas are bangin. I get the Quattro Formaggi which has caramelized onions and it is soo yummy! Taste even better when you put Mike's hot honey over it, which they will offer. My bf got the Maitake Mushroom and was at a loss for words . The grilled octopus was also very tasty. I haven't tried their cocktails but they also sell wine and beer. The service is also impeccable. Very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is somewhat small but I have always found a table. It also beautiful inside. Definitely worth a visit.

Been here twice now and was blown away both times. This place is the real deal. I used to not go out for Italian food a lot because I was always disappointed unless I went to an extremely fancy restaurant. Figlia is truly a hidden gem. Every bite of food feels thought out and well prepared with decent prices. We've tried 2 pastas, 2 salads and 2 pizzas here now. All amazing with great service. We will continue to come back.

Figlia just opened not too long ago. The food rivals any top rated Italian restaurants. The staff is super friendly. Our server even walked us to the door when we were leaving. The owner is all too happy to chat with you about his food. I highly recommend the pizza. The dough is light, airy thin, and crisp. Usually, Neopalitan pizza isn't crisp so the how the dough is made what does it. The pasta dishes are all great too. I will definitely be back.

Went on a Wednesday night for a party of 3 and we didn't have to wait. The place was very quaint and low key, which is just the type of vibe you need for a good date or a catch-up with friends. I had the sausage pizza which was absolutely delicious! Our server was very attentive and always there when we needed him. I'd definitely come back here again!

Cute restaurant, great view of pizza oven from all angles. Clean, spacious bathroom. Good service overall and nice bottle selection with affordable pricing although I didn't particularly "love" the one I chose. Pizza was yummy, good crust. My friend didn't love the pasta he said it was just ok. Unfortunately, he's not a fan of sharing so I can't confirm or deny. What a selfish jerk. (Haha jk) - all in all, good place to check out if you're curious. Great location, accessible to the N/W train so leave your car at home if you can. I would want to come again to try more pizza. It's a new business so show them some love & support!

Came to check out this new Italian restaurant that opened a few months back. From start to finish it was a great experience. The space is small but welcoming. The pappardelle with spiced braised leg of lamb was cooked to perfection. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. The Burrata Pomodoro Pizza was prepared right in-front of you. The cherry tomatoes were very soft and sweet which paired beautifully with the garlic confit.

Went here last week with a friend and we enjoyed it! It wasn't too loud or too quiet and the ambiance was perfect for dinner. The service was great too. The waitress was attentive. We ordered the burrata and pomodoro pizza which was absolutely delicious esp with the chili oil and pepper flakes (10/10). For our entrees, we got the radiatore con salsiccia and the garganelli which were fantastic as well. Would come here again!

A beautiful new spot with amazing food, ambiance, and service. We sat at the bar for a cocktail before dinner and the bartender (Luis) was so nice and made fantastic drinks. We had a few different pizzas, pastas, and wine and everything way surpassed our expectations. Excited to have this spot in the neighborhood and would say it's the perfect date spot or place to catch up with a friend. Great music, great ambiance.

I've had my eye on this place since it was under construction and was excited to dine there tonight. What Astoria lacks is everything Figlia is. You know an Astoria local opened this restaurant - as the ambiance, prices, and delicious food really create a fantastic dining experience. My fiancé and I had a pizza to start and two pasta dishes. The pizza was stellar, and I am normally one to prefer a classic nyc slice over napoleon pizza. The chili oil offered to drizzle on the pizza was an excellent addition. we shared a bottle of wine, and not often can you find a restaurant with multiple bottle options under $50. The ambiance was perfect for a date night and the service was stellar. Cannot wait to return and try different pizzas and the cocktails that looked delicious. Glad to have you in the neighborhood, Figlia!

Super cute spot! Excellent pasta and pizza. The Radiatore Con Salsiccia needed a little more flavor (possibly missing salt) but overall great dining experience. My husband's pappardelle with spiced leg of lamb was PHENOMENAL.

This restaurant is such a perfect addition to Astoria. Italian cuisine is always a good thing especially when done right. The food, drinks and service were a 10 out of 10. I wish them much success!

Small restaurant with amazing pizza and wine. The Vibe is nice and the service is really good, everyone is very nice. The white pizza with small tomatoes is my favorite.

Finally made it here and now I'm mad that I waited so long!! Pizza was amazing, wine was so reasonably priced, and service was impeccable. Will definitely be back! A great addition to the neighborhood.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. We when for early dinner with my partner. I didn't feel too comfortable my partner is black latino and right away I got the stare from the waiter and bartender. They offered a shitting table that I rejected and sad on a corner table near the window I liked better. The waiter was a little pushy trying to get us to purchase drinks and with the menu. The menu to me was disappointing, very limited and everything very similar. All the Pizza were a variation of the same ingredients. We when to try the oven brick pizza there were like 7-8 choices all very similar, few choices of pasta, salads and appetizers. Finally we decide to order drinks and One beer and one soda $17 bucks barely any choices on non alcoholic drinks We order the sausage with cherry tomatoes and basil $24 bucks for that and he said " thats al l" " it's just a personal size" I was surprised he said that I said $24 bucks for a personal size ! So I asked him if the pizza was thin he said no is very thick. It wasn't thick at all I like it thin. He attitude was like yeah thats it. Instead of ordering another pie I decide to order the meat balls $19 Bucks. Our food came pretty fast and it looked good. I notice it looked a little burn, but I figure that is just the way it's cooked in that oven. Pizza was good thin and the dough was soft and thin barely any sausage on it a few sprinkles, few cherry tomatoes and like drops of basil paste, but it was good. The sauce was delicious, but the meatballs were mushy too soft and barely taste meat. They were $19 bucks for four small meatballs I was expecting a lot better for the money we paid. Very disappointed in the meatballs. Don't order them if you are Italian you be disappointed. Dessert was expensive and only 2 choices we skip it. The menu needs improvement and maybe do some specials to make up for the pricey menu or just be more generous with your portions and Pizza sizes and the quality of the meatballs. We never saw the waiter again till I paid the bill and I did tip him well because I always do, but he could have been nicer and more welcoming. The total bill with tax was about $64 bucks for the Pizza, meatballs and one soda and one beer. I always leave tip cash, so in all $76 bucks to me was expensive for what we had. Never got a welcome, Thank you, but still tip him. For the icing of the cake I ended up getting sick from the food, so I don't think I will be returning. I'm glad I live in Astoria and have so many better options.

Impeccable ambiance perfect for date night or catching up with your friends. Service was great! Our waiter was so friendly, gave me a cocktail recommendation, and frequently checked on us. Our food came out promptly. We had the grilled octopus, marg pizza, and the rigatoni bolognese. We topped it off with a chocolate mousse cake. It was overall a nice spot and got pretty crowded throughout the night and it's a smaller more intimate restaurant so definitely get in early or be prepared to wait a bit for a table.

Figlia is better than the over hyped Via Carota and it is just as good as Roscioli NYC. The pizzas are wonderful and the main star of the menu, with expertly baked crusts that are out of this world. While a little silly looking, the pepperoni with ricotta hits all the right flavor notes. As good as the wood oven pizzas are, the meatballs are outstanding and served with sourdough bread. Don't let the pastas escape your attention. They are hand made in house and again, they rival that of Roscioli. The chive spaghetti is an outstanding example of simplicity cooked to al dente perfection. Great wine list, great decor, my only complaint was it was a tad too loud with voices echoing off the walls, but it was a Friday; the voices were happy and well fed....no loud obtrusive music and no screaming kids!...I'm sure they welcome families but this is not really a menu kids would like, so there was a delightful lack of families - a great spot for grown ups serviced by a staff that clearly love what they do and where they work. This is a happy place!

This place is better then lucali In Brooklyn the famous celebrity wait four hours for a table pizzaria not restaurant . It's a restaurant for VIP who are served salad meatballs etc . And the rest get pizza and soda

One of my new favorite restaurants in Astoria! Went there to eat dinner on their opening night and have been there several times since. The food, aside from being delicious, is always cooked to perfection. The texture of the crust/pizza dough is unlike anything I've had before and the pasta is always perfectly al dente. The best new date night spot.

Loved it! Cocktails were definitely not watered down. Arugula Salad was lovely. The pizza was so good, I almost ordered another. And the service was exactly right.

My friend and I wanted to try Figlia for our New Years Eve dinner. This is a new restaurant in Astoria, Queens, NYC. We were not disappointed! The ambience and restaurant is clean and inviting. We were seated right away. The service was great, even though our waitress mentioned that it was only her second day on the job. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, an arugula salad, Margherita pizza, rigatoni bolognese and slice of chocolate cake to split! Everything was delicious, although my friend did wish the pasta was cooked a tad bit longer. We both really loved the pizza, and my friend hopes they will have a delivery option in the future. We both agree that we will be back to try different menu items. Thank you, Figlia, for a pleasant dining experience! I wish you much success in Astoria.

Excellent crust for both taste and "mouth feel". Wife,who usually treats carbs as type of poison ivy, ate every bite. Reasonably priced wines tooBurrata & Pomodoro

My boyfriend and I came here 2 Fridays ago and the place was packed. The restaurant is beautiful. We loved the decor. We started with two pizzas (arugula & speck and sausage pizza). My boyfriend and I enjoyed the sausage pizza more. Crisp crust and very flavorful. We enjoyed the pasta (Radiatore Con Salsiccia). That was our favorite dish. I thought the pizza was good but I would go back to try more of the pastas. The pasta was amazing.

Came here on a Friday night and they made us wait outside in the freezing cold for our table, once we were sat we got our drinks and they were very watered down. Small portions too, ordered the burrata (which only came with two pieces of bread) and then the rigatoni. Food overall was okay, there's way better Italian in Astoria. In my Opinion everything was also super overpriced. We will not be back

Not kid friendly at all. Went there with my wife and 2 kids for a early dinner and basically said they have nothing available when clearly they had tables available. Welcome To the neighborhood Figlia remember this isn't Williamsburg.

Amazing environment, food and drinks!! I came with my co workers from another restaurant, and we were amazed with the quality of the service and food. We'll definetely come back. This has become my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood!!

My husband and I noticed this place had opened up a week ago and made it for dinner last night. It was crowded but we grabbed two seats at the bar and had a great night. We had cocktails to start along with the grilled octopus and meatballs, then split a pizza and finished up sharing some tiramisu. We enjoyed everything, especially the octopus and sausage pizza. The service was great, everyone was super friendly, and the bartender was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Have been here a few times since they opened and everything is delicious. The pasta dishes are as close to what you find in Italy, and the pizza has the perfect light, chewy, and crunchy crust. The kind of pizza that when you take a bite your eyes roll back into your head. Extremely warm and at the same time professional service/bartending. The owner always comes around to make sure everything is held at the highest standard, and is a pleasure to speak with. Cannot recommend an Astoria restaurant more highly.

I visited Figlia on Friday night & had an amazing time. The atmosphere was lively & fun. It's a great spot for a date night or just a night out with the girls. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered the Little Gem Salad, the Burrata and Tomato appetizer & a classic Margarita pizza. Everything was fresh & delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

Went here for a date night and it's the perfect spot to do so. It's very easily becoming one of my favorite spots in Astoria. The quality of the food was incredible (we got the Radiatore pasta and Burrata pizza -- I highly recommend both), the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere feels very clean/modern. It's location is perfectly set to have have dinner there and then jump over to The Bonnie after and it's a stone's throw away from the train.
