10 Outstanding Pizza Spots in Charlotte, North Carolina

"Figo is an Italian slang word for “cool” and that is the theme of this trendy NoDa restaurant. Guests can look forward to a sleek Instagram-worthy interior with ideal lighting for #nofilter pics, fun murals, and modern aesthetics alongside a menu highlighting Italian classics like margherita pizza, housemade pasta, burrata, bruschetta, and tiramisu. Traditional pizzas are made with locally-sourced super-fine flour, and fresh mozzarella, but cauliflower crust and plant-based mozzarella are available as substitutions. If you want to be one of the “figo” kids, try the Tre Carne pizza with pepperoni, meatballs, and pancetta or the pepperoni rolls with sugo dipping sauce." - Nikki Miller-Ka

Not a big selection of food but still worthy of trying. I got the Salmon & it was hot and delicious. The smashed potatoes (but they weren’t) are enough for 2 people. The drinks I ordered (margaritas) weren’t to my liking but a person with me had a cosmopolitan & lemon drop and they liked it. We also tried the fried ravioli which was pretty good-tasty crunch.

Figo is such a cute place! Nicely decorated and trendy. The staff were nice and attentive. We started with drinks. They were strong, mainly ice. $15-16 for one drink. Which is ridiculous, but not unheard of at many nice restaurants. For the appetizer we got fried lasagna… Olive Garden grade at best. It was not what I expected for a slightly elevated place. For dinner we had the vodka pasta and red devil. The sauces on both dishes were delicious! But both the shrimp in the red devil and the added meat balls to the vodka pasta, were both overcooked. Overall you pay for the aesthetic of the place, the food is just okay. But I find that to be a trend at many Charlotte restaurants. Would I return? Not voluntarily, but maybe if I was invited by someone else.

What a cool spot right off the main drag of NODA....We walked in and got a seat immediately and was surprised how great everything was. Food was easy five stars and we did app, pizza and an entree! Only had one server for generally the whole restaurant but she was great, just super busy. Drinks were also five star!

Great time having dinner here. We had a big birthday group and reservation. Everything went very well. Service was wonderful and food was timely. The atmosphere was fun, we really loved the music and all the greenery. Will be back!

During our art walks, we frequently passed this restaurant. So, I wanted to try it out. We went for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. They have an adorable outdoor patio (heated in winter), and the cutest furniture. Great customer service and delicious food. Reasonably priced. This modern Italian restaurant is definitely one I'd visit again. #italianfood #charlotte #restaurant

Google
The atmosphere of Figo 36 is great. Great for a date. We had the Bolognese which was really good. But we also ordered the Peperonata Chicken (they honestly just call it the chicken dish) and it was PHENOMENAL. That’s the one you can’t afford to miss!!

Google
We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday and were pleasantly surprised. The meatball app is a must try. These were easily some of the best meatballs I've ever had. The pesto gnocchi with shrimp was delicious, fresh and flavorful. The cocktails were also top notch. It is a small establishment with warm, inviting ambiance. Great date night spot!

Google
The food is SO fresh here! Beautiful atmosphere with chic interiors and great service. Servers are all very nice and attentive. Food is always delicious. They have a rotating menu and I do miss their little pizza bites with fresh marinara sauce on the side. Highly recommend!

Yelp
me encantó este lugar, su servicio, la comida. exquisito! 10/10 gracias Figo por una buena experiencia

Yelp
The atmosphere of this restaurant was just so beautiful, very garden like. We showed up on a Saturday night, with no reservations, and were promptly seated. There are a few parking spots outside of the restaurant, and a garage and street parking nearby too. The service was 10/10; our waitress was very helpful with explaining the menu. The food came out SO fast, but everything was freshly made, including the pastas. I can't decide what was better, the focaccia bread, or the pastas; both were absolutely incredible. The tiramisu was divine, slightly on the sweeter side, but the texture of it was so unique. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because the cocktail was not the best. It was way too strong, but not flavorful, and I felt like I had to force myself to finish it. Overall, fantastic food and atmosphere, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Yelp
This restaurant had great food the calamari was the perfect crispy but could have been seasoned better and the sauce was mostly ketchup I had the salmon and it was really good like crispy and flavorful the sauce and broccolini was good too. The drinks were strong and delicious

Yelp
My gf and I LOVE this spot! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Their food is very good too. The cherry on top of the cake is the super cute decor. The forest greens, golds, and pinks really do something for me. Definitely try this place out on your next date night!

Yelp
I recently had a date night here and have to say I really enjoyed my meal and had a wonderful time. The EDM music they play may not be for everyone but I thought it set a vibrant and fun atmosphere and I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the place. Looks aside what really impressed me was the food. I chose the penne alla vodka and chose to add meatballs. The sauce was fantastic! With just the right amount of zest to it. It's been a while since I had a vodka sauce that really took my taste buds on a journey like this one. My girlfriend ordered the bolognese and let me sneak a bite. Two thumbs up for that as well. I haven't had a chance to explore the menu top to bottom but as far as pasta dishes I was very impressed. Would def recommend for a group dinner or a date night out. It's conveniently located near the heart of NoDa and right by the 36th street light rail station.

Yelp
Figo means well, but they're just off on what they offer. They want to be a fancy restaurant, but the quality is not there. This is my third trip in. On this trip in even the wine felt as if it was flat. The meats just feel below quality of what you can buy at the grocery store and the entrees overall are missing flavor. Service was friendly! It was totally empty at 6 for walk ins on a Friday so we were served quickly, but this is just ok at best.

Yelp
The pictures online of the interior are definitely outdated. It now is reminiscent of Miami Vice meets Golden Girls in need of some updates (particularly the wall fixtures that used to house plants). Visited during restaurant week and tried the following: fried calamari & meat balls for the apps, margarita pizza, & mussels with pasta dish, along with the lemon pound cake to go. The service was very good, no wait at all. The calamari was mushy where they seemed to be fried too close together. The magarita pizza was not good at all, the globs of cheese came sliding off the slice (whole) with each bite. The pound cake was thick & pasty which made it hard to swallow. Luckily the menu included a choice of draft beer & house wine.

Yelp
I visited Figo36 on a Thursday evening. We had a reservation but it didn't appear to be very busy. There was a small parking lot out front but it was full. We ended up parking in the garage and had to pay for parking. I am not sure if they validate. If they do it was not mentioned. The overall aesthetic of the restaurant is great. The decor was beautiful. We ordered the ravioli appetizer and I loved it. The service was also great. However, the drinks and food were just average to me. The white sauce on my pasta had a strong after taste which made it difficult to fully enjoy. For drinks that cost $15 or more each I would expect for the taste to be superior.

Yelp
Most definitely one of my favorite low-key spots! The drinks are pretty and strong. The food is delicious and filling. The customer service is great. Ambience is nice, very cute for a birthday dinner, date night or girls night. Parking is limited however paid parking is available in the deck.

Yelp
SOLID espresso martinis! Initially I stopped in for an espresso martini competition a few months back and enjoyed the event and the ambiance. We returned recently for a quick drink and had a great experience sitting at the bar this time! The bartender and other staff were friendly and helpful, striking up conversation - all around genuine people - and again making great drinks. The space is intimate and fun, with a patio, bar and some tables. This place is great for dates or a small group. Excited to try food one of these times!

Yelp
The word Figo means cool in Italian slang, but this restaurant can be defined as modern, classy, and upscale. Perfect for a solo meal, nightcap, date night or group dinner, Figo takes you on a culinary journey through delicious authentic Italian cuisine, which includes house-made pasta, ciabatta, and pizza dough. I went to Figo with a group, which allowed me to sample a lot of their dishes. I also tried three of their delicious cocktails. The restaurant wasn't busy when we first arrived, which gave us the opportunity to chat a bit with the owner and chef. The food was delicious and well-seasoned, although I was told prior to my visit to bring salt. A saltless dinner was not my experience, but to each his own. Here are the items we had: ABASINGLY REFRESHING - Chopin vodka, amaro, lemon, Lillet blanc, and peach puree 16G APHRODITE'S KISS - Tito's vodka, elderflower liqueur, strawberry, house-made sour, spelling wine float LOVELY BUNCH OF COCONUTS - Cachaca rum, mango, toasted almond, toasted coconut, curry, and lime SALMON NDUJA - A creamy mousse with flavors of the Mediterranean WHIPPED RICOTTA - Light, fluffy cheese with zesty lemon and sweet honey atop focaccia BURRATA & PROSCIUTTO - Cured meat and marinara on a handmade crust, topped with soft, rich cheese PESTO GNOCCHI SHRIMP - House-made gnocchi with shrimp in a classic Italian pesto. RED DEVIL FRUTTI DI MARE - Bounty of the sea over fresh pasta and red sauce with a little kick BRANZINO - A classic Mediterranean fish prepared with Sicilian pesto and citrus fennel BISTECCA FLORENTINE - Hearty T-bone with caramelized onions, potatoes, and balsamic glaze

Yelp
First time here was just for apps and drinks which prompted a second recent visit. Whipped ricotta with focaccia was 10/10. Drinks were expensive but very well made and strong. The waitress was able to suggest a cauliflower crust for pizza for my wife which was great since she's been trying to be healthy. Me on the other hand had the normal crust prosciutto and fig pizza - very solid. Very nice ambiance for a date night or dinner with friends.

Yelp
tucked away in newer sector of Noda Figo is a nice concept Italian restaurant. I was here during January and wasn't drinking and the amazing bartender had an arsenal of N/A cocktail options for me. He asked the flavor profile I wanted and made me two really good N/A cocktails, I didnt even feel like I wasn't having alcohol, which was so appreciated, I love a place and a bartender who can handle all aspects of cocktail building, including building a cocktail without alcohol. I am always weary of ordering pasta as I always find that it needs more seasoning, I did have to add salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and parmesan to get the full flavor profile I needed. My friend did get the pizza and from what I tried it was really good. I definitely think pizza is their strength, I am eager to try other dishes on the menu to see if anything else is a standout. I loved the decor of the restaurant but really appreciated the detail of the bathrooms.

Yelp
I would highly recommend (and come back for) the Fried Cheese Ravioli, wine and the Adffogato. The entree's here that I tried were just okay and seemed to be missing something. The pizza was somewhat bland despite having the pesto. The restaurant is small but has a great ambiance and is right by a light rail stop. Parking is limited but we found a street spot a few blocks away in NoDa.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! They weeent busy at all which is so surprising! It's aesthetically pleasing & the food was great! I highly recommend! I have a review on my Charlotte food blog on IG. @passtheplateclt

Yelp
Checked this place out for restaurant week a couple weeks ago with some friends. The decor and overall ambiance is so cute and trendy. The service was above and beyond and the set menu for restaurant week was SO tasty! We decided to order all of the appetizers available and they definitely didn't disappoint. The meatballs and burrata are a must order! I ordered the bolognese for my main entree. It was ok, the flavor just wasn't really there. However, I tried the other entrees of my friends and loved all of those! So tasty. I went with wine for dinner this time and unfortunately there wasn't a lot of white wine options, but the one on special for restaurant week was pretty good. I may try cocktails next time! The tiramisu was DELICIOUS! And a huge fan favorite. I can't wait to go back and try some more items next time!

Yelp
Just popped in for an early dinner; sat at the bar. Beautiful space. The service was prompt and friendly. The pasta was excellent. Great Italian option in the NODA area.

Yelp
I'm sad to say that this spot was just okay in my opinion. I'm used to my vodka sauce having a bit more kick and this one fell short in that area. The pasta was cooked perfectly however. The truffle pizza was good but didn't knock my socks off. It's definitely a beautiful restaurant and I may come back to try some drinks one day.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place forever but I was just not impressed. We had a reservation on Valentine's Day, and the service was horrible. It took our waitress about 30 minutes to come to us and ask for drink orders, then throughout the night she checked on us a few times. We ordered the bruschetta which was really good! We then got the pasta (Alfredo and Vodka) and both pastas were over cooked and a little bland. I think this place has so much potential just lacking flavor to food -- the overall restaurant was so cute and trendy. I would be willing to give it another try some day, in hopes that the service would be better

Yelp
So I am obsessed with this place. I out off going here bc I heard it was just OK... but everything I had was wonderful! I had 2 of the best mocktails I've ever had (I haven't had too many lol) but honestly it's hard to believe they were non alcoholic bc they taste exactly like a craft cocktail you would get at a speakeasy. SO SO good. Purple Haze was my favorite. The pizza was good. The cauliflower and mushroom plate had a Marsala flavor and was perfect. I can't wait to go back and order the exact same things which as a foodie is like a crime! Oh yeah and the ambiance--so cute and cozy. Table are a little close to hope to not be placed by loud annoying diners. There ya go...Highly Recommend!

Yelp
Figo35 is adorable inside. Everything you want initially for a great experience but then where it should count the most, it lacks. The food is just ok. They try hard with the service but you can tell they are inexperienced but friendly enough. There arent as many wines by the glass as I personally like so you are forced to order a bottle. Food: The fried calamari was pleasant enough. The pasta ala vodka was lack luster. They used a mushy fusilli pasta while I wish it would have been a heartier rigatoni or anything not mushy really. Also got the Italian sausage which was more like a stroganoff in my opinion (and I liked it more than the ala vodka). No offer for fresh cracked pepper or parmesan. It was not the worst experience, just the norm for the Charlotte "Italian" restaurant in the area. In no rush to go back.
google avatar

Nicki G.

Yelp
Figo36 was awesome! We didn't try many of the entrees so I can't speak on that but the appetizers and pizza we got were so yummy! Mushroom and artichoke pizza was phenomenal. Loved the burrata too. Whipped feta was good but didn't peak my interest as much. And of course the calamari was incredible. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and wine too. Service was great and all around 10/10 experience.

Yelp
We went for my girlfriend's birthday dinner on a Sunday night, with a reservation. Parking lot out front is small, and it was full so I had to park in the nearby parking garage (which didn't print me out a ticket so customer service had to let me exit for free at the end of the night). But usually it is $3-$5 for parking there. Walking into the restaurant, this place is so aesthetically pleasing. Definitely Instagram worthy. They have a bar and outside patio seating as well. We were seated quickly, and Service was great. I enjoyed Cacio e Pepe pasta with meatballs, and my girlfriend had the Bolognese pasta, both of which were good (and good portion sizes) but they were lukewarm when they came out. We also had calamari as an app. We both had espresso martinis which were fantastic and strong. They also did not have any complimentary apps such as bread/butter or oil. I'd say this spot is slightly overpriced. I'll come again if I'm not ordering drinks.

Yelp
Hate the fact that I have to leave any stars..... My daughter and I come here often. Waitress always a pleasure Even though each time we order the bolognese pasta each it's always us asking for more sauce and temperature not hot ... meal comes out quickly but always have to send back to be warmed up. Even with that ,Today I decided to do same meals but for take out.. typically we have enough for leftovers or to split one meal( to give an idea of the differences between sit down vs take out) same price at that Portions are smaller for take out Told manager and he said the weight is same portion size. Not happy Will not be back To go folks beware of the scam!!! I drove 40 m from work to grab dinner and now only enough for each of us for one meal. Way to go for $46 bucks( after manager out an $8.80 charge on the bill which said large party) as if I didn't notice. His fingernails were dirty and he smelled like he had smoked weed moments before and yet I still ordered cause he wasn't cooking the food. Overall beautiful looking spot... never had a full house and horrible parking lot... do better! Update at 5:44 pm when I arrived home These are the photos This stuff taste so darn bland I could scream. Pasta has a funny taste to it hard to describe Bowls not even full no way this is enough like when seated inside for dinner.

Yelp
I really wanted to give this place five stars but they are just not quite there yet. We stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday night and this place was hopping. I definitely love the vibes in here. It was very chic and unique! They get bonus points for how cool the decor made me feel. For dinner we started with the tomato basil marmalade burrata with housemate focaccia. It was really good but did not come with enough bread. We asked for more and it was free (which was nice). very tasty. We also got a "Kale" Caesar salad that appeared to be made with spinach instead of kale. It was tasty nonetheless, although a little too much dressing. For dinner, I got the Sausage and Date pizza and my girlfriend got the Linguini with Chicken. Both were VERY greasy and had way too much oil. The pizza tasted really good but I felt all that oil the next day. My girlfriend's pasta was way to garlic-y. I would not recommend it. I wish I had tried other entrees as I am sure they were good (they looked pretty good from afar). All said and done, give this place a try. The food was decent and the price was reasonable. You cannot beat the atmosphere. It is also right next to the NoDa light rail stop so getting there is a breeze!

Yelp
Let me start with the fact that the servers were super nice and attentive - granted there were max of four tables sat out of the entire place. Me and my partner enjoyed both our cocktails - their house old fashion and moscow mule. They were both good while we enjoyed their bruschetta. Now the entrees - I got pasta alla vodka with meatballs and he got shrimp scampi. The pasta alla vodka was good but the meatballs were dry and had many hard pieces in them to where I stopped eating my dinner. My partner thought his shrimp scampi was overall just okay but VERY bland. I think there's some real opportunities with this place. They had a great staff and great atmosphere - just think they need to work on flavoring and not overcooking their meat.

Yelp
I just left Figo after going there for a quick anniversary dinner and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff was great, our server Cora was fantastic! I mentioned adding peas to something and noted I was doing it because I'm a vegetarian and it's easier to add something than try to remove meat from an existing dish. She immediately let me know that they add the meat later so they can accommodate for people which opened up so much of the menu. My pasta was amazing and my boyfriend loves his meatballs. They gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary and we're so sweet. The decor and atmosphere was great. Not a bad word to say!

Archana T.

Yelp
Food is good ..ambiance is better.. Service was good. However felt a lot of cold vibes They refused to give a table even though there was enough tables and they said the restaurant closes at 10 while they take online reservation until 10.30pm. We were a party of 6with 3 adults and 3kids ..probably that was the reason of refusal

Emily Q.

Yelp
This place is awesome! We sat outside on a Saturday night, no reservation needed. The service was quick and the waitress was nice and attentive. We got a free appetizer as they are adding it to their menu next week. That was an added bonus! My cacio e Pepe was delicious. The wine menu was pretty big with options for everyone (both taste and price wise.) I will be coming back here for sure.
google avatar

Sparkling Gem V.

Yelp
Dined here a while back. This place is very nice on the inside. We made a reservation, but it wasn't crowded. Our server was very nice, informative and somewhat attentive. I judge this by my drink refills. The food was good. I like my pasta saucy, but this was not. It was tasty though and pretty filling. The meatballs appetizer was delicious!

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. I love an Italian wine and food bar. The decor was beautiful, I loved the Italian pop music, but I just wouldn't go back. The drinks: we got the come to grappa and another cocktail (something like the gardineira but the cocktail list isn't posted and we can't remember). We didn't enjoy either. Not sure if it was just personal preference. After that we kept it safe with a bottle of wine. The food: The burrata bar.. not sure why it's called that. You get a small ball of burrata and then they have flavors to chose from to top it but you just get one flavor per order. When I think of a bar, I think of maybe multiple options at once. The eggplant pizza - it was good. I didn't think the potatoes on it fit but it still had good flavors. The crust was definitely amazing so maybe we just needed to order a different pizza. The stuffed pasta - this was our favorite dish. The homemade pasta was really good and the flavors of the sauce were great. I don't think the carrots fit as they were cut too large and too Al dente. Service: they just got started so no comment really. It didn't feel overly attentive and I didn't feel that the staff quite knew the menu yet. Price: very expensive. Almost $200 for 2 cocktails, the cheapest bottle of wine, an app, 2 entrees, and one affogato. Overall not worth coming back to (especially for the price) but I do wish them the best!

Yelp
What a beautiful place! Recently opened - This Italian restaurant has amazing ambiance, very nice outdoor seating, various international Genres Playing... arrived at night and they offered a late night menu - the burrata is locally acquired and delicious! The octopus was very good and a nice wine selection. Eric, the bar Manager is Ace! I have to try their eclectic cocktail menu on my next visit! The energy is amazing here!

Yelp
I didn't love my experience at Figo36. We went for my sister-in-law's birthday in October 2022 and the food lacked... a lot. The menu was OK, but the actual food itself was generally bland. The server was nice enough. The decor is BEAUTIFUL. But, the actual setup is uncomfortable. Myself and another member of our party sat against the wall when you first come in. First, the person at the next table down shook our table with every movement, which was unpleasant. After he got up, we thought that would be the end of our troubles but then we realized that the tables couldn't bear much weight ; we were afraid of our food and drinks spilling onto us! The people in chairs didn't seem to be too disturbed, but the wall/bench experience was unpleasant. Anyway, I doubt I'd return since neither the food or experience were too outstanding.

Yelp
Fantastic environment and offering from start to finish. A unique twist on several Italian dishes and drinks, which is always a plus when hanging out in such a trendy neighborhood. The pork chop absolutely blew us away in terms of entrees, while the stuffed pasta is 1000% the way to go for those in the mood for noodles. Eric made a killer wine recommendation from the bar for a Bardolino, a grape varietal that neither my wife or I had tried before. Simply put, this is not your typical mom and pop Italian joint - for all the BEST reasons. Be prepared to take some pictures, as every room has multiple picture-esque moments!

Yelp
The location is great! The interior is super cute with a ton of great spots to take photos of the amazing food. Gabby was our waitress, she was super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks. We tried all of her suggestions and loved them!! Now...Eric has to be the best bartender in town. Both the old fashioned and butterfly tea drink were phenomenal, so good we needed another round! We just visited Italy a few months ago and these dishes were so authentic and as close as we have found to true Italian cuisine. The good vibes and great service makes the perfect combo for a date night. Thank you Ally for stopping by and checking on our dinner experience, we will be back again soon!

Yelp
I really enjoy the restaurant other than they gave my dining room table away (I got there on time) and had us sit in the outside area. Also when I asked if we could sit at another table in the dining area they said yes but we would have to be done in a hour because another reservation was coming at that time. I went for my birthday, which happens to be Valentines day. I do understand that it was probably a busier day. However, our waiter was really nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Ambiance is really charming, but the furniture was dirty and the techno music was not well suited or inviting. Unfortunately, the food did not impress. Our calamari was not crispy, although the flavors were fine. The pork was extremely tough, and the potatoes tasted like paste. And the pasta was over cooked, with a bolognese that was underwhelming and tasted like it could be from a can. Wished it would have been better, especially for the price.

Yelp
This new Italian Spot has the NODA area going crazy! I've been looking to visit this restaurant ever since I seen the construction start. The inside is beautiful! It has a dark, greenery affect. My server Asher was amazing. We started off with cocktails. The " Lovely Bunch of Coconuts " and " Slow Dance " . Both were a 10/10! For our appetizers, we had the Fried Ravioli and Lemon Calamari. I never had Lemon on my Calamari so I was extremely shocked at the pleasant taste. We then went with the Figo Margherita and Fettuccine Alfredo. I'd give the rating on those a 7/10. It didn't seem like my food was fully cooked. Overall, i'd give this spot a 8/10 and will definitely be back for drinks and the amazing view
google avatar

Corlette B.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the ambiance and the hospitality. I think the drink I had was just ok. I had the drink with the coconut and curry. I ordered the tuscan italian sausage and my friend ordered the buscatini carbonara. My Pasta was really good and flavorful. I was worried about the wheat noodles but it was awesome. The other pasta was not that flavorful to either one of us. The overall vibe was great though.

Yelp
Eric, the bar manager, is amazing and is so creative with his drinks! Made me a create twist to a French 75 and the Abasingly Refreshing on the menu is delicious. Amazing fresh house-made pasta and wonderful service. It's a must in NoDa. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
The spot is cute and trendy, and I'm excited to see what nice weather brings for Figo36 so their outdoor patio is utilized. I went on a Tuesday and there was no one there. Our waitress was attentive and everything came out timely and correct! I would recommend starting with burrata and trying a new wine you've never tried before (it's fun)! Their wines are affordable by the glass. The penne ala vodka was good, but I would like to try something else next time I go! If you have access to the light rail, would recommend taking it because it stops right behind Figo 36.

Yelp
This is pretty below average Italian. We ordered the calamari, spicy vodka, side of meatballs, and carbonara. All were under seasoned and pretty bland. The meatballs were cold, but service took those off the bill. Service was slow and sparse. The ambiance is good and Is conveniently located in Noda. Overall, not my favorite.

Yelp
Utterly average kid-sized pizza that would not have looked out of place in the frozen food section of the supermarket. Definitely not worth $22 plus tax and tip. Pasta was inconsistently cooked, half al dente and half overcooked. Quite an accomplishment. $19 for whipped ricotta which came in a condiment sized tub.

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. Absolutely phenomenal. I have never had such good pasta in my entire life. Even the pepperoni rolls were fabulous. Great staff- they even chased us down bc one of us left our phone on the table, now that's customer care. The patio is so warm w heaters and is beautiful with all the greenery. Feels like I just went to Italy!

Yelp
The other reviews sound like the restaurant had some kinks to work out in the beginning, but I assure you they are cooking with fire now! I went to Figo36 last night with a close friend and everything from the decor to the pasta was fantastic! We ordered two pasta dishes, shrimp scampi and the brisket ravioli, and both were insanely delicious and the plating of the ravioli was gorgeous. The staff was excellent! Positive vibes, helpful suggestions, and a wine recommendation that blew our socks off. This staff knows what they are doing and honestly want you to have a good time. I will be back over and over again.

Yelp
Not a bad spot - first time visit - sat outside on a Thursday night. Open table said their were booked; however, the tables were empty when we went inside. The tequila / mezcal drink there was amazing. If you are on a low carb lifestyle, this isn't your place - I ate the meatballs - all else was pasta and pizza. The calamari was super good, marinara sauce was salty. Decent experience - we'll try again. Oh manager was very visible and checked on us a few times.

Yelp
Very cool restaurant in a trendy area of northern Charlotte. Friendly but slow service on the evening we were there. Overall, I have this place 3 stars because it was simply an average restaurant. The Affogato dessert was actually terrible but everything else was ok. The pasta was slightly better than Olive Garden and the pizzas were slightly better than a Brixx pizza place. In a pinch when better places are booked, we might return for the ambiance but would try hard to find a better Italian restaurant.

Yelp
Tried Figo36 for first time last night and were pleasantly surprised. We just grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a few things to share. We had the calamari to start which was excellent and then the shrimp linguini and sausage and fig pizza. Both were excellent. The draft beer was a bit off (didn't taste like we know it should), but not sure the reason for that. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Love, love LOVE Figo 36! The food, atmosphere and drinks are all AMAZING! I'm kinda a Fried green tomato snob, and these are hands down some of the best I've ever eaten!

Yelp
We had such a great experience at Figo tonight. The space has such great ambiance that screams Noda- artistic, with an air that you're in for something special without being presumptuous. You can wear jeans and have a casual date night out here for sure. The service was top notch - drinks always filled and table being bussed without being rushed. The appetizers we had were so freaking amazing. The whipped ricotta was bright and acidic with quick pickled carrots and house made focaccia bread that was just spectacular. We also had the octopus with the most ingenious melon sauce and gremolata. They are definitely bringing the flavors and acid with these dishes! I had the long pasta bucatini. It was perfectly Al Dante and fantastic! My husband had the chicken Marsala served with the best risotto. We opted for the vanilla bundino dessert and it was so perfect. Innovative cocktails, top notch wine and beer list. This is the Italian inspired joint that the neighborhood so desperately needed!
