"Perhaps Raleigh’s most-anticipated restaurant opening of 2024, and now a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best New Restaurant. Helmed by former Poole’s chef-de-cuisine David Ellis, Figulina focuses on handcrafted pasta as the vehicle to explore local ingredients and Southern cuisine. There’s a nori bucatini with crab, chili, and black garlic, rigatoni with braised sweet potato, and cappelleti with short ribs and mushroom conserva. Pastas pair with a small plates menu of items such as lamb rillette and charred savoy cabbage. The cocktail menu is heavily influenced by Italian amari, and the wine menu is pulled together by local photographer and Italian wine expert Jeff Bramwell." - Matt Lardie

We sat at the bar and had amazing service. Food and atmosphere were 10/10. Drinks delivered exactly what they promised. The bartender was friendly and provided great recommendations for this being our first time here. The beet root terrine was one of the most interesting dishes we have had in a long time, the blend of contrasting flavors and textures creates an exciting experience for us. One we will repeat.

I'm not usually a huge Italian food fan but this was really good. They had some really unique and tasty plates, paired with exceptional service and very good cocktails. We'll be back to try more of the menu in the future.

We found this via Offline - beautiful atmosphere. We started with the Gazpacho and it was good. We had the ravioli & the tagliatelle which was delicious. However, you should also serve some bread with your meals, $3 for a piece of focaccia is a bit steep. Finally skip the chocolate stout cake - they store it in a fridge so it's cold and dried out - very disappointing

Absolutely spectacular and worth the hype! A true gem. The pasta is homemade and the menu perfectly balances traditional Italian cuisine and modern creativity. Highly recommend the octopus corzetti and the vermouth/amaro program for drinks.

I got the Rotolo as a main dish. My table was pretty hungry so we shared a salad to start. The rotolo was very bland, needed salt at the least. My portion was very small for $26, I wish I would’ve known and ordered something else. The chocolate cake was delicious but also small. I left hungry.

Stunning, second visit in five days. Cannelloni with ramps is stellar, tempted to make another trip before it disappears off the menu. Creamed corn agnolotti is very tasty! Enjoy the brisket pasta while you can - so soupy and delicious 😋

This is probably one of my few 4 star reviews of a unique eatery where we actually plan on returning...soon. Something is missing from this place and I'm hoping it's not just the air conditioning. It was HOT in this place when we dined, so hot it was uncomfortable and took away from the joy that the food brings. I'm hoping this is fixed ASAP. The pastas and risotto are absolutely phenomenal. Very tasty, fresh and worth just getting them all and sharing with the table. The apps were super unique, tasty and unexpected. We just weren't "wow'd" and I wanted to be wow'd but nothing really stood out making this the next big thing. Maybe a reserve wine list, or specials would've put this place over the top and made it more unique to where I can say "who wants pasta...Figulina" as opposed to other spots in the Triangle. It's new and this is the chef's first go. There's huge potential in this place and we can't wait to see what's coming.

Everything we tried has been phenomenal: Whipped Ricotta, Market Lettuces, Dopio Ravioli, Raviolo, Mafaldine, Risotto (crab, fennel, chili), Orecchiette, Buttermilk Panna Cotta, & Videri Chocolate Tart, not to mention the perfect Negroni, well-crafted Porch Swing, & delicious Rosa Tinted Glasses(cocktails). Our servers (Lauren, Max, Lindsey, among others) gently offered menu opinions & suggestions that were spot on. The house made pasta is so amazing (as good as or better than any we've ever had), we expect any pasta selection from the menu would be just as good as what we tried this visit. Thank you, David Ellis & Dylan Shook, for opening this marvelous restaurant in Raleigh.

Yelp
Brilliant chef working with his lovely wife to create a space filled with fine and very interesting dishes. The in house pasta creations offer a new taste sensation. The entrees may appear rather small at first blush, but the flavors really break through to offer exciting new tastes defining the chef's impressive taste and creativity. Formerly the chef at Poole's. He demonstrates his bona fides. The menu is small enough to try it all in two visits. Pasta with sardines, the absolutely freshest tuna I have ever enjoyed, a salad of great finesse and a lovely pumpkin creme brulee served a new temperature that was revealing. Think carefully about each dish and discover the revelations.

Yelp
After moving to Raleigh from Philly nearly a year ago, I wasn't sure I'd find a pasta place that could rival those in the Philadelphia area--but Figulina has definitely impressed me! We went here for my husband's birthday dinner and both really enjoyed it. We started with two cocktails - both well balanced and had a nice flavor. We got the carrots over whipped ricotta. At first I was confused that the ricotta did not come with bread to dip, but after tasting the carrots, we did not need it! My husband said they may have been the best carrots he has ever had. As my second drink I had an aperol spritz, it was decent. For our pasta dishes, we got the Bolognese and the pesto. Both were very good. We finished with dessert. I also loved the vibe of the place, it was fun and unique, we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Pasta me this, Pasta me that! this pasta focused restaurant is the place to go for an excellent pasta dinner in Raleigh. The green and white checkered tile floor and the large pasta where all of their pasta is made fresh just scream authentic Italian. Although the menu has an awesome selection, the Tagliatelle is outstanding, and the fresh pasta is very refreshing. Great food, great drinks and friendly staff, you just can't go wrong here. Cheers!

Lauren B.

Yelp
Loved this place! And service was great and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed everything we ordered. A must try in Raleigh!

Sahib G.

Yelp
The food was delicious. My favorite was the Wagyu Beef Tartar and the Raviolo. However it's a bit overpriced for the portion size. P.S: Make sure you ASK for bread because it's not on the menu and the server won't tell you about it either. We saw bread being served at the table next to you and ask our server about it. She said that apparently the chef doesn't want it advertised so she didn't mention the bread to us while a couple other tables got it. Which Italian restaurant does have or offer bread these days?

Yelp
Set a Resy notify a few weeks ahead and landed a reservation for 6 people on a Saturday night. (RIP Humble Pie that used to be in this spot, but Figulina is a worthy new tennant!) I tried: + Scallop crudo - generous portion but meh flavor. Fishy + Whipped ricotta - awesome, loved the prosciutto + Heirloom tomato - great, but comically tiny portion + Market lettuces - perfect + Off-menu foccacia - perfect + Rigatoni - loved this, the eggplant was amazing + Mafaldine - perfect + Bucatini - good + Scarpinocc - good + Watermelon tart - ok. Kind of like watermelon jello with a crust, not my cup of tea + Chocolate stout cake - perfect So yeah, some dishes were misses, but overall I really liked our meal here. Vibe inside was nice and casual and they have a little store that's fun to browse. Will also note there is a slightly musty smell when you walk in the dining room, but it's not really noticeable once you're there for a bit. Humble Pie had it too, so I'm guessing it's a quirk of the building, but I wanted to mention it in case anyone is sensitive to that kind of thing. 4.5 stars.

Martin Q.

Yelp
It was disappointing. I don't like publishing bad reviews, but it is also important for customers to say what is wrong. Our reservation was for my wife's birthday. I told RESY and the waiter about it. Nobody offered us a cup of prosecco or a small pastry with a candle. The waiter moved us to another table because of a mistake in service. Surprising! We asked for bread and paid $10 for 2 small pieces of bread. My main course was suppose to be with rabbit and I only get few pieces inside my plate. It's something to reconsider. Also, it was very loud. Food was ok but nothing more.

Yelp
Drinks were great. Food and service were awesome. I'll be back soon. Got the avocado toast

Jessica K.

Yelp
I love pasta, and I wanted to try this new restaurant out. I made a reservation for 2 on a Wednesday night. The inside is nothing notable, and there aren't a lot of tables, especially large ones if you have a big group. It is neat to see them rolling out fresh pasta dough. The main problem I had was the giant fan above our table making it quite cold. It was also somewhat loud. I ordered the tagliatelle which was very good, albeit small for $25. The menu is also quite small. Our waiter barely said a word the whole evening. While I enjoyed my pasta, I would rather go to Gravy where I can get free garlic knots and a much larger portion of food that is just as good.

Yelp
This was an incredible dinner, and I think what was really the icing on the cake was our server, Melody. I was asked if there were any allergies at the table and I said I was very allergic the grapefruit. She right away asked the kitchen if they had any grapefruit and let me know that there wasn't any, which I really appreciated. I was just extremely grateful at how attentive and thoughtful that was and wanted to mention it. She was very attentive the entire meal and knowledgeable about the menu. It was three of us at the table and we were very much looking forward to this dinner, so we ordered two appetizers, four pastas, and one dessert to share. It was definitely more than enough to go around. We also ordered the bread to sop up the sauces, and I swear I could have ordered three more pieces just for the sauce alone. My favorite was the duck confit and chanterelle raviolo with sherry. That was INCREDIBLE. Can I buy a pint glass of the sauce please? We also ordered the tartare, the Market Lettuces, Orecchiette, Scarpinocc, and Rigatoni. All were beautifully made and presented. For dessert we had the sweet potato creme brulee with a ginger snap cookie and maple marshmallow on top. I had the Amaro Falso for a mocktail! All in all, what a wonderful dinner and experience. We will definitely be back!

Megan W.

Yelp
The restaurant is really nice and spacious. We got three dishes and all were delicious in their own way! The brussels were well dressed and the focaccia croutons were fun (perhaps a bit big to chew easily). I got the mafaldine and loved it. The pasta shape is fun and the carbonara was nice and creamy. My boyfriend got the tagliatelle and enjoyed the bolognese sauce a lot. The meat had a slightly smoked flavor which was a good touch.

Holly K.

Yelp
I was sad to see Humble Pie go, but also really like the pasta concept of Figulina. The menu is small, so if you aren't looking for pasta, this probably isn't the spot to go. My friend and I sat at the communal table and enjoyed watching them make the fresh pasta in what seemed to be a dedicated pasta room. Service was super friendly and I loved their whole aperitivi concept. I ordered the lillet blanc the way they suggested with soda water and an orange. It was refreshing and a great Spring drink. We got the whipped ricotta as an appetizer which I did really like with the beets. For pasta we went with the cappetelli and nori bucatini. I thought both were excellent. The portions are small, but the flavors are rich. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them and definitely wanted to lap up that cappetelli sauce with the spoon they provided. I'm looking forward to them getting their patio up and running, would love to dine in again soon!

Gil T.

Yelp
We ordered three pastas, and each one was in my top ten of all time. All three were singular and distinct, but not just a one-note bite. It was hard to choose a favorite, but I think the scarpinocc was my favorite. Mafaldine at a close second, and the agnolotti at a close third. I loved that you could see the fresh pasta being made in the kitchen, and I also love a cold High Life bottle with dinner. Cucumber gazpacho was fresh and different, and the bread was great too. Compared to some other high-end pastas in the area, this clearly won out for me. Great quality, portions, and craveability. Color me impressed. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Some of the most unique and delicious Italian I've ever had. The bread (costs $5 but is 100% worth it), the heirloom tomato, the risotto, the octopus, the drinks... all delicious! The food can definitely push you out of your comfort zone as far as what you think of when you think Italian in America, but it's all amazing. The service was perfect. Incredibly friendly staff who helped guide you through all the menus and food came out in appropriate times (I.e. not too fast where you're rushing through your dinner but no long waits at all). Ambiance is nice with the pasta window, indoor and outdoor seating, and bar seating if needed. Replacing the beloved Humble Pie meant there were big shoes to fill and I think Figulina stepped up and knocked it out of the park

Yelp
Hey hey, while I was sad to see Humble Pie close in Raleigh, the emergence of Figulina Pasta and Provisions is a nice alternative. This Italian restaurant that focuses on hand-made pasta and noodles just opened this week and is doing a great job. I tried their charred cabbage, cappelletti short rib and panne cotta and they were all nicely done. The staff here is very knowledgeable about the menu and the dining room is just the right amount of coziness and space. Stop by this new option for Italian eats in Raleigh. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised...

Nicole L.

Yelp
The pasta is so fresh and the dishes are so creative. Pasta is so good we keep forgetting to take pictures before finishing it! We have gone twice now and both times we were blown away and did not have a bad dish! We sat at the bar and the bartender is so knowledgeable and friendly we loved him! It's a cute little cozy place for dinner!

Stephanie J.

Yelp
Figulina is located in the space previously occupied by Humble Pie. My friend and I met up for dinner here and sat at the bar. We started off with drinks, it was a beer for me and one of the cocktails for her. After that we both had two pours of their still rose. For food we split the pistachio butter for an appetizer and the panna cotta for dessert. For our meals it was the Mafaldine for me and the Rigatoni for her. The drinks and all of the food were so good, I can't wait to return to try more soon.

Kevin P.

Yelp
You are going to leave hungry unless you order two dishes per person. The pasta is good, but nothing better than you can get at many other restaurants. If your gauge of quality food is mainly based on Raleigh, it's good. If you travel and have lived other places, it's average - with the portion sizes tipping the scale toward not returning. I give it two years before it closes, if it maintains its current format. People will try it because it's new. Most will not become regulars.

Yelp
My wife and I went to Figulina for our monthly fancy date night and, though the food was terrific, we had a mixed experience. We got a table underneath a large ceiling fan which was making us very cold and uncomfortable. Though I will not hold that against the restaurant, it did make the night a little less enjoyable. The server assigned to our table was not around very frequently though, and did not offer much insight into the menu, which was full of a lot of foods we were unfamiliar with. One positive aspect though was that the interior design has a cozy and inviting vibe while also feeling high end at the same time. It's a nice place to spend time. Once we were served our pastas, we were very pleased. My rigatoni was unlike any other dish that I've had and I would recommend it to anyone. It was a 5 out of 5 dish. My wife really liked her Bolognese as well. The one other part of the experience that didn't agree with us is that we walked away kind of hungry because the dishes were somewhat small. We later read online that it's intended that everyone order 2 dishes from the menu, which explains why we needed more. However, it wasn't really apparent to us or explained to us that that is the expectation, and the individual dishes are already quite expensive. Because of the menu design and price, I don't expect we will return. But if that doesn't bother you and you have the money for it, I would bet that everything on the menu is worth trying because our food really was excellent I hope that information helps somebody out

Yelp
One of the best meals I have had in years! My wife and I wanted something different for our Anniversary. We decided on Figulina and it exceeded all of our expectations. We had a 6pm reservation and arrived early and we were promptly seated. Even though it was busy it didn't feel like it, we had a booth but felt so much privacy. The space is very welcoming and the vibe was perfect. Our server was fantastic, she was on point with all of her recommendations. We decided on the Market Lettuces and the Whipped Ricotta for our appetizers. The Ricotta was incredible, the carrots were roasted perfectly. For our entrees we couldn't make up our mind so we went with the Mafaldine, Gemelli, and Sacchetti. They were all delicious, our favorite being the Mafaldine and the portion sizes were spot on. For dessert we went with the Chocolate cake and the Sweet Potato Crème Brûlée. From start to finish, it was an impeccable meal. Chef David and his staff are some of the best we have experienced in Raleigh. We cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
Figulina has done an excellent job transforming the Humble Pie space into a pasta-making Mecca. You can watch the chefs hard at work making wells in dough and forming the sheets for ravioli and agnolotti. Our service was a bit spotty but the food was wonderful. We tried the Doppio Ravioli, which was delectable with roasted carrots in half and rabbit confit in the other. The Pappardelle Bolognese was also hearty and flavorful. We also tried the Brussels which are served in a cold salad and the beets with whipped ricotta. My dinner companions did not love the soda bread that came with the lamb rillette but the dish itself was tasty. We will definitely be back for more of the fresh Italian pasta with an English twist!

Cathy B.

Yelp
The food was terrific, and the service has some hiccups to get worked out -- but the staff was empowered to make all errors right with the customer, which is something I value tremendously. Staff was knowledgeable about ingredients and the wine list, and, eager to respond to your questions. Nothing surly or snotty in the staff here! Our pasta dishes were great, but I highly recommend the one with preserved lemon -- the other dishes were "this is very good, but something I have had before." The one with preserved lemon stood out. And the basic greens salad was fantastic (loved the seared garlic). I might hold off on ordering the salad with Pink Lady apples until they're back in season - it was a little bland in color, and thus less fun to eat. I was served a dish I hadn't ordered -- just a mistake. (And the dish I brought was fantastic.) No questions asked, no argument, the kitchen sent out the dish I had ordered. Also, we had been served a glass of wine with significant sediment in the bottom. Again - no questions asked, no argument - they whisked it away and poured something new.

Yelp
Bottom line: Figulina has started out with 5 stars from me on my recent second night open visit. Delicious pasta choices, very helpful and positive staff, and good atmosphere. The Deets: I saw Figulina had opened up in the former Humble Pie space in downtown Raleigh, and decided to try them out on their second night open. The restaurant is reservation geared, even for a bar seat for 1 guest. Pro tip: when using Resy app for reservations here, you may not see all the bar seat reservations availability unless you put in 1 as number of guests. The restaurant itself is open and bright, and not every square inch is used for seating tables which is a nice vibe. There is even a display area where you can see their pasta being made in house. I was shown to my seat at the bar and my first bartender was very eager if not overzealous in making sure I knew all the positives of the food menu and all the offerings available, very informative. I decided to get their housemade sparkling lemonade for my beverage and enjoyed this choice...not too sweet, not too tart, great flavor and like the bubbles. I went with the Cappelletti (with short rib, mushroom conserva, served in a consommé) for my meal and the bartender said that was an excellent choice, and that I'd want a spoon to enjoy the consommé after I'd eaten my pasta. The pasta choice was delicious! And the bartender was right, the soup spoon came in handy to finish all that consommé left, it was like getting a two for one deal...good suggestion. I had a friend that lives downtown text me that she wanted to join me while I was eating so she made a bar reservation and came just a few minutes after that...however, since all the bar seats are by reservation, it did not work out that we could have seats side by side where I was sitting originally since we made reservations at different times. The staff worked it out and were very accommodating in that I could go to the other side of the bar with my friend and we continued from another bar location with another bartender. We decided to get one of the small plates to sample, going with the Lamb Rillette (served with sweet potato piccalilli and grilled soda bread). It was a nice small plate of shredded lamb meat slow cooked in fat and then can spread on the soda bread to enjoy. For her main meal, my friend got the Pappardelle (in Bolognese with Parmigiano Reggiano) and she liked it a lot. I got a couple bites of it and I had to agree, delicious choice. We were so full after all our menu selections that we did not have room for dessert this visit, but that just means another visit in the future! For a place that had just opened the night before, the food/service/atmosphere came together nicely and I am definitely visiting Figulina again, hopefully soon. All 5 stars this time.

Gina S.

Yelp
We were so sad to see Humble Pie close, yet excited to try its replacement. They kept the bare bones inside the building and kept decor very minimalistic. We really enjoyed the brussel sprout salad and lamb small plates to start. The pastas were very delicious; the gnocchi was very bright and the other short rib pasta was one of the most unique pastas I've ever tasted (very savory). We can almost never skip dessert and the chocolate mousse tart did not disappoint! The service was wonderful and still had that homey, Humble Pie feel. It was a little expensive but appropriate for handmade pasta. We look forward to coming back!

Sarah M.

Yelp
We were very excited to try this new pasta restaurant opened by Poole's Diner's former chef de cuisine David Ellis! We sat at the bar area, which was ironic since we weren't drinking. The ambiance and vibes of this place were amazing! One of the bartenders was very knowledgeable in the details of how the food is made, including how they use every bit of food that other restaurants may just throw off as scraps, which I absolutely love and appreciate. We started out with the pink lady apples chopped salad, which was incredibly delicious. The funk from the gorgonzola combined with the sweetness from the apples and roastiness from the hazelnuts made for a delicious, crunchy salad. The whipped ricotta appetizer was also recommended as the ricotta is made in house - the beets and olives were nice but we felt like this dish was missing something, perhaps some acidity and/or herbs, and the carrots were unnecessary here, although I suspect they may be scraps from other carrot dishes which I can appreciate the use of if this is the case. For entrees, I got the nori bucatini which was my favorite dish of the night - the pasta texture and shape was on point, the lump crab was cooked perfectly, and the black garlic butter sauce brought all the incredible richness and flavor. My husband got the ravioli with confit rabbit and this pasta was also incredibly well-made and perfectly thin - the puree on the bottom was made with leftover whey from the housemade ricotta as well as roasted carrots. We finished with the Videri chocolate tart which was rich and smooth, and the macerated strawberries were deliciously sweet (love in season strawberries!)

Natasha M.

Yelp
Went for dinner and the handmade pastas did not disappoint! We shared the whipped ricotta and greens salad which were both phenomenal. The salad is surprisingly full of flavor. As a vegetarian there were three pasta choices which we had the gemelli and rotolo which had unique flavors and were cooked beautifully. My least favorite part of the meal (shockingly) was dessert. There was a bit of a wait for our table but we perused in the small shop in the restaurant. Otherwise the service was exceptional.

Tessa E.

Yelp
Had to give this place a try since it's a brand new restaurant in Raleigh with homemade pasta in house. Made reservations and they require you to put a card down, I do not normally continue to place a reservation when places ask for this. We were seated right away as our reservation was for when it opened. Our waiter was super attentive and descriptive of the food, we barely had a chance to greet one another at the table. Each had a glass of wine to start and placed our food order. My friend ordered the Carbonara and I ordered the Duck Ravioli and focaccia bread. Our meal arrived in 5 minutes, way too quickly. Some people might enjoy a quick turn around but it seemed like they were trying to get us in and out as quick as possible. The carbonara was great, a standard dish with noodles that were very delicate and wavy. The ravioli was good, it is one big ravioli in gravy with mushrooms on top. It was a very savory meal, but for the price I would have preferred another as well. It was a unique twist on a classic dish and tasted a bit like a barbecue ravioli. Overall glad I tried the new restaurant, but do not believe I will need to stop again. Very expensive for a glass of wine and ravioli. The staff were great and outside patio is a great option.

Daniel P.

Yelp
A much needed Pasta joint in a great location. Parking was easy. We had a resy at the bar. We ordered the lamb which is cold fyi- i usually don't like Cold meat dishes but this was exceptional. We also had the charred cabbage and it was warm and comforting. The Rotolo is pictured and was something I had never had ( I'm uncultured) and it won't be my last time ordering it. My lady ordered the Nori Bucatini and it was super good as well. Would smash again. (The Bucatini) We ended with the chocolate tart. It was .

Adam M.

Yelp
Wonderful space filled with working chefs in a dedicated Pasta room. From starting plates to all the pastas, just order the whole menu, you can't go wrong!!

Lauren S.

Yelp
Second night open and I'm truly blown away!!! Everything was incredibly fresh tasting (we even saw the pasta being made!) and wonderfully thought out. Everyone in my party was raving about the food. We experienced incredible service and atmosphere. I'm not Italian, but this meal makes me wish I was. Make a reservation and give yourself plenty of time to park - it's worth it.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere here and being able to see the pasta be made by hand. The food was delicious the people who work here are very nice and made our anniversary dinner even better.

Amanda D.

Yelp
A fresh take on traditional Italian pasta meals! The pasta is homemade and there is a viewing room glass pane where you can watch the chef! Outdoor patio is lovely. Delicious!

Maria D.

Yelp
Had really high expectations for this place. Pasta was good, but not sure it was worth the price. Started with tuna crudo - very good! Cannelloni was delicious, very unique flavor combination, husband had the carbonara, which was good, but nothing special. Cute restaurant and wonderful service! Worth a try, but won't be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
Tried this hot new fresh made pasta place in downtown Raleigh on March 28. Coming from North Raleigh was slightly tricky as was not familiar with this part of downtown. The google map took us up Commerce street and said "arrived". Well, sort of. At that spot you are directly behind the restaurant. if there is a spot to park there grab it and you can cut thru the parking lot there. But I had no such luck and so went around the block to Harrington street which is the proper front. There is street parking there but it was already taken. We arrived at 5:15pm as we usually get dinner on the early side. But a business right next door at 313 Harrington made their parkting lot available for a fee so I just grabbed that. More expensive than street but right there and easy with a parking app as i recall. We were greeted right away and seated right away. The ambiance is comfortable, practiced casual if you will. Staff very professional, knowledgable and capable. Service was Excellent. We ordered, as pictured, a Lamb Rillette to start followed by a Cappelletti, Ravioli, and Campanelle. We finished with two Chocolate Tarts and a Panna Cotta for $129+tax and tip. Oh yeah I had a glass of Chianti. What to say. First, the ingredients are absolutely first rate. Everything was super fresh. Pasta was of course superb. Room for improvement? First, the menu in the end felt vegetarian with a nod to meat. Second, it tasted like the meat was cooked separately in a crock pot and then added in. Third, the seasoning and flavors were simple I guess. This led to an overall impression that the food was excellent but simple and needing more flavor, if you will. Hope that helps. Also bear in mind we were there not long after opening. Will definitely try again in future to see the evolution.

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Amazing pasta dishes and beautiful restaurant! Great wine list and staff was very pleasant. Would recommend!

Sofie I.

Yelp
Lamb Rillette for appetizer. Carbonara and Ravioli for main. Not too busy for a 6pm reservation dinner on a Thursday

Tim P.

Yelp
Figulina in the warehouse district has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. Everything, from the salad and bread to the cocktails and pasta, is absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Kathleen B.

Yelp
This was the most hyped up restaurant to be let down over and over. 1. Not Flexible- No Substitutions..Came from Pooles so get that. No Kids Welcome! 2. Communication was lacking. We asked for bread and she brought everyone a slice which easily could of been split. Charged us $15. 3. Always will give a new place a second chance. Won't run.

Ann Marie G.

Yelp
This is an amazing restaurant! We got to sit outside on a lovely evening and decided to start with the Whipped Ricotta salad, then shared two pastas (Rigatoni and Campanella). The food and the service were outstanding, and the wine list is excellent!

Fair H.

Yelp
Serving sizes were anorexic when matched with price. Especially the tiny wine pours. Irish stew had 3 small clams and two tiny shrimp with chopped up smoked fish in a salty watery yuck. The other mains were mediocre. 3 people, $170.00 and walked out very disappointed.

Yelp
Everything we ordered tasted good. The portions are quite small, one main pasta order will not fill an average adult up. I would think of them more as small plates. It felt like they were rushing us out of there the whole time too.

Yelp
Great dining options even though they don't offer nightly specials. The bolognese was outstanding! They have a lamb mix appetizer that's good as well. The homemade pasta is so filling, one is guaranteed to either need a wheelbarrow or a to go box for lunch the next day.

Yelp
Food was good but was not worth the cost at all!! This place was pompous and overpriced! Expect to pay minimum $23 for an entree that is no different than any other Italian restaurant.

Yelp
the food across the board was lacking flavor and cohesiveness; everything sounded amazing on the menu, but nothing delivered. also the A/C was barely on or even broken, it was incredibly hot. charging these prices, you would expect a more enjoyable atmosphere, at least one where you are not profusely sweating while eating indoors.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Wife got the Mafaldine, and rigatoni for me. No complaints!

Yelp
Bartender Max is totally AWESOME!! Like awesome times a million. We followed all of his recommendations - drinks, apps, pastas, dessert. Max gave a very detailed explanation of each drinks and dish. Everything was outstanding. I wish all restaurants had a Max!!!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our dinner at Figulina. The vibe was relaxed, inviting and cozy. The service at the bar where we were seated was perfection: great energy, service and were cocktails on point also! The savoy cabbage appetizer was so so good. We also really really loved the short rib dumplings in mushroom consommé. So excited to have get to enjoy all of their amazing house made pasta. Will def be back!

Yelp
Popped in for the first time tonight with my husband. The tagliatelle was hearty and super flavorable. Definitely recommend! Perfect comfort food when you want pasta but don't just want carbs. The portion was a good size too. I wasn't super hungry, so I had enough to take come home for lunch tomorrow. It's definitely enough to be a filling meal. If you're a dessert person then the panna cotta is a must. It was honestly the best panna cotta I've ever had. The caramelized crunch whatever it was they top it with was so good. I'll go back just for the dessert. Service was great. Love the vibe of the space itself. The outdoor patio will be lovely on a warm evening.

Yelp
Over priced. Sat at the shared table and there was no pasta making to watch. The soppin bread came with nothing to dip it in. Would not recommend and will not return.
