If you've ever watched the Netflix movie, Nonnas, Filomena's is exactly the real life version of it here at Irvine, California, as the warm atmosphere, the food, and the people here are so nice. Filomena's has both the kitchen and the market, came to buy the sandwich at the market, asked for recommendations, the answer is "Italian Special", prosciutto, soppresate, pepper ham, salami, capicola, mortadella, and provolone, all in a 2.5 pound sandwich, with Jalapeño, tomato, and onions, , it's really GIANT, love not just size of it but also the taste of it !!!

This a local place with a market and restaurant. It was busy, but we were able to carry on a normal conversation. The pasta and pizza were both excellent. The pasta was fresh and the pizza had plenty of toppings. The service was just right, the server was helpful and attentive. The market sells fresh pasta, sauces, gelato and desserts. Don't go without a reservation, the place is small and fills up at the dinner hours. I hope you give it a try.

Google
The place is amazing. Super small but overwhelming with great service. Had a party of 8 for lunch with an unexpected plus one, and they were super accommodating. The service was done w a smile and plenty of joking from Manny. Even the market side staff was great. Food was absolutely delicious. Portions were decent sized. Will definitely return - AKA David party of 8

Google
Chicken parmigiana was a little tough but the sauce was good the spaghetti was good maybe a little more pasta for the huge size of the chicken portion. The cheese was good. Staff was amazing and super friendly and even offered to change the plate.

We were hungry and tired, went to Filaminas for the first time… What an Amazing experience! From our waiter Manny to the incredible dishes! We don’t live close by but would highly recommend if you’re near. Will be back for sure when we come through town again! 🥰

Went after the theater and had a delicious meal. The atmosphere and service were great. Attentive without hovering. The fresh pasta market and bakery w gelato were the best!

Google
Loved this place. The food is all home made and absolutely delicious. Very high quality ingredients. Big portions. The ownership has changed since some of the one star reviews were posted. Highly recommended! We’ll be back!

Yelp
Five stars for Filomena! The food is amazing. The service is outstanding. The grocery is tantalizing! Came here to meet a friend for lunch!! What a great time! For appetizers we had both the house salad and grilled artichokes. Both were amazing. For our meals we had the clam linguini and Cioppino. They used fresh noodles in their dishes and it made a whole world of a difference! There is a grocery store / deli in the restaurant. You can get your favorite Italian items - pasta, olives, tomato sauce, and fresh pastas! The selection is amazing and everything looks and tastes super fresh!

Yelp
I found this restaurant from an Instagram reel someone created and my friend at work sent it to me. We were both sold and decided to do our holiday team lunch there. Although my pizza was yummy, my teammates weren't too pleased with their meals. Anyone who ordered pizza loved it! So if you visit this restaurant, highly recommend the pizzas. They did offer complimentary bread which was so nice, but the bread was dry. One teammate stated her chicken in the salad was dry. The waiter was very nice, but a little too friendly. And he was really urging us to take the food home, even though some of us didn't enjoy it. If you're gluten-friendly, this restaurant is not for you, unless you just want salad. All in all, the server was friendly, pizzas were good, but I don't know if I'd go back. Parking was easy, but not many parking spots in this small strip plaza.

Yelp
This restaurant is an absolute gem. The ambience is warm, inviting, and has that unmistakable family-oriented feel that makes you instantly comfortable. The staff is incredibly polite and attentive -- they checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. The manager and server that were on the floor the night I had dinner were absolutely incredible! Service was impressively quick, yet the food still tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I ordered the vodka sauce pasta, and it was everything I had hoped for -- rich, authentic, and full of flavor. My date had the traditional Lasagna, which he enjoyed. (Means a lot because he's Italian & manages a restaurant too lol) You can genuinely taste the care and authenticity behind their dishes. Overall, a wonderful experience with authentic Italian cuisine, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning!

Yelp
Woah, Filomena, thank you for saving us from yet another restaurant shopping on a hungry Saturday night. This was the 3rd stop of the night hunting for inoffensive food and without a reservation they sat us immediately. The whole restaurant screams mom and pop with an even more hospitable service. Places like these make me question why there aren't more of them around but then I remember what reality is and how honesty has somehow become an opportunists game. Food arrives on a timely manner, piping hot and fresh. The pizzas are baked to order so time manage that into your hunger. Simple ingredients, fresh produce and handmade pasta?! Can I work in the kitchen there for a week?? That adorable little market by the entrance is heartwarming.

Yelp
My CM golf buddy introduced the HB guys in the group to Filomena's, and I'm glad he did. Ever since Lucci's closed in HB, we don't have a neighborhood place like Filomena's: Sit down Italian deli with friendly service. We dined in and had roasted salmon under a bed of spinach w/ tomatoes. The salmon was fresh and moist, and the overall portion was very large. The only downside was the bread at the table had no flavor or texture. For take out for mija, I got an Italian Special sandwich. It had the most meat of any sandwich I have ever seen (overall weight 2 lbs and 12" long). The bread held up well against the meat and other ingredients. I could only finish half the sandwich at another sitting to give you an idea how packed it was. For dessert in, my CM buddy ordered almond florentine cookies. To go, I grabbed some pignoli cookies. Both were really good. My other HB friend grabbed an Italian rum cake and said it was awesome. Regarding the ambiance, its very casual. You walk into the deli side where you can eat in a communal setting or take out. The dining side has about 12 tables. However, I understand the Mexican place next door has the same owner, but does not serve dinner. My CM buddy said rezzies are required at dinner despite the additional space. The service is friendly & warm. The customers are nice also, one younger guy commenting that he can't finish a whole sandwich either. I wish Filomena's was in HB. I would be a regular for sure. They make fresh pastas and sauces to cook at home, and they also have a chicken pot pie. I will definitely be back to dine in and take out.

Yelp
First time here. If you are looking for a neighborhood restaurant with good service, fresh pasta, attention to detail, and good prices, this is your place. We had to feed our growing boys. Garlic Bread Calamari Spaghetti with Meatballs Linguini with Clams Delicious dinner.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying the service was phenomenal. Dining in with a 3 year old can be hard but the waiter made our experience so much better. There is a small grocery store as you walk in with pastries, ice cream, etc. On the left they have the restaurant which is a seat down place. We ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, the Caesar salad, a pepperoni pizza, and the papperdelle bolognese. We loved everything we ordered. It was delicious and very flavorful. A place we could definitely come back if we were in the area.

Yelp
Everyone at Filomena's was super sweet, and I loved how they all jumped in to help with service! Plus they gave some great recommendations. The vodka pasta was one of the best I've had, almost like being back in Little Italy in New York. The garlic cheese bread was delicious, too! I was a little surprised that adding chicken to my pasta was $14.. which I didn't see that coming. The drink I tried was a bit flat and didn't taste quite right, so I'd skip that next time. That said, I would definitely come back to try more of their dishes, and I'm curious to check out some of the items in their market too.

Yelp
It was a surprise!!! We were looking for an Italian place near our hotel after our visit to The Great Junk Hunt (Costa Mesa). It was for my birthday. We came to this place, Filomena's. (Thank you, Yelp). We were greeted by this delightful Nadia. After learning that we didn't have reservation, she graciously led us to a table. The wine was awesome. I had to have another one!! Caprese salad was to die for, especially for its pesto salad. We split the angel hair dish which was heavenly! Nadia surprised me with a delicious mini eclair... so thank you, Nadia and Filomena! We live only an hour away, so it will be easy to return!

Yelp
TBH our first experience was 'to go' and we weren't blown away ... fast forward we had to give it another shot and eat at the restaurant to get the full experience. We are so glad we did! For starters the market connected is really charming and has it all ... including cookie dough ready to bake! The restaurant is really pretty, clean, very nice and service was 10/10 . We got a nice house salad, meatballs and sausage in Sundays sauce. I'm a huge meatball critic and I have to say they were fine, a little dry for me BUT the sausage was great and with the added cheeses and sauce we ate em up - inhaled them. Got the chicken parm over penne and it was a solid generous chicken size, nice and thin, perfectly cooked and the pasta was great. We really enjoyed the food and our visit... will be back! PS plenty of parking options.

Yelp
YUM! Came here Thursday evening around 7:30pm and was seated immediately in their main seating area. Such a cute intimate space and delicious food to pair with! Our servers were a treat! We got a little help from everyone on the floor, and they were all very knowledgeable and great help with the evening! Started with cheesy garlic bread. Followed up with their Margarita Pizza and Penne Alla Vodka (added chicken). The Vodka sauce was SO tasty we had to purchase a container of it from their storefront. Margarita pizza was light and the tomatoes were juicy! Truly everything was cooked to perfection! *We had their Coke products and sadly it was extremely flat, so stick to water or better yet, WINE! Can't wait to come back and try other dishes! Make sure to grab some yummy Italian pastries or gelato on your way out!!

Yelp
Wow, I gotta say this place has some of the best bolognese I've had the pleasure of trying. Their sauce here is unique and delicious. Their pizza is also very well done with the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. The service was fantastic as well. Definitely coming back!
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
Service is amazing! I ordered the chicken piccata with angle hair pasta and it was perfection. The chicken was juicy and tender. The angle hair pasta was so satisfying and over the best dish ever! We will be back!
google avatar

Luciane C.

Yelp
Nice place, good taste on decoration! Garlic cheese bread was good! The Pappardelle bolognese was good too but it's very rich and a little bit heavy for my taste. Our server was very helpful!
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
Ambiance was nice Good service Food was overall good but for the price not much better than a chain restaurant $30 for an 8oz portion of Fettuccine Alfredo was a bit much luckily we also got a entree sized Caesar salad as well Overall, not bad but not a great value Would I go there again? Likely Great strawberry sorbet also in the market area
google avatar

Yelp
As suggested, we made a reservation and showed up a little early to check out the deli side while we waited for our table. Glad we did, it was a nice way to kick things off! Our server Manny was fantastic, super attentive and genuinely welcoming. He really helped make the whole experience memorable and paired well with friendly fun atmosphere. We went with the pepperoni pizza and the lasagna, and as expected, both were absolutely delicious. They never miss when it comes to flavor! Can't wait to come back again soon. Big thanks to Manny for the great service!

Yelp
Hector was our waiter and he did a great job. He is very friendly and made our visit enjoyable. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was really good. Also had the cheesy garlic bread and meatballs too. These were also delicious. For my main entree, I got the veal parmigiana and it was huge. It was delicious too. My wife and son got the bolognese and it the best bolognese I have ever had. We were too full for desert. The place is on the small side so make reservations.

Yelp
We recently celebrated a birthday lunch with my closest friends here, and since the birthday girl requested Italian food, we decided to try this spot, as none of us had been before. What a great choice! We ordered pasta with Sunday sauce (highly recommended), buratta salad, calamari, and eggplant parmesan. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was charming. It's a unique place--part eatery, part mini-market--and the cozy vibe added to the experience. We were really excited to check out the marketplace after lunch, but unfortunately, we had to rush to pick up our kids from school. We'll definitely be coming back, not just to try more of the tasty food but also to explore the market. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for good Italian food and a fun, welcoming setting!
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
The food and the service there was amazing. It's a small yet a warm welcoming restaurant that we will certainly revisit. The pasta was definitely homemade. Trust & believe there is a major difference between homemade pasta and the box pasta. The amount of seafood in each dish was generous. And everything we order was delicious.
google avatar

Courtney R.

Yelp
We ordered takeout from Filomena's last night after hearing great reviews from friends about the food. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I got the caprese salad which was delicious and my husband got the Chicken parm. The portion was ginormous... definitely warranting the cost of the chicken Parmesan. I was able to eat the leftovers for lunch the next day. Plus the deli side had delicious cookies for dessert! 10/10 would go again!
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty Good sandwich! Definite a must if you're in the neighborhood and have time! Usually a wait but I scored and was first in line! Definitely coming back and worth a visit to everyone!

Yelp
Found this place from social media. Came on a Sunday night around 6:30pm. It's a cute little Italian restaurant attached to a deli. The restaurant was cozy and service was great. Our server was very attentive. It wasn't crowded. There were only 4 other tables occupied. For appetizers, we ordered sautéed mushrooms and grilled artichokes. The sautéed mushrooms were a tad sweet. The artichoke was literally 1 artichoke slices in 2 halves. I felt both appetizers were overpriced for $15 and $17, respectively. We also asked for a basket of bread which was $5. The garlic butter was flavorful. For our entrees, we ordered Frutti de Mare, Pappardelle Bolognese, and fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. I liked my Frutti de Mare. The scallops, shrimp and clams were cooked perfectly. The red wine sauce was delicious. Pappardelle Bolognese was also tasty. But there wasn't a lot of pappardelle. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was quite bland. My daughter didn't like it. She added a lot of red peppers and salt. I thought it was also overpriced at $25 plus $11 for chicken. That's $36 which was more than my Frutti De Mare at $32. In general, I felt some of the items were too pricey for what we got. I would probably skip the appetizers if I go back. I did enjoyed the homemade pastas with the exception of the bland Alfredo.
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
Prosciutto and Arugula Pizza is so worth it! Delicious pizza. However, the short rib risotto is NOT worth $41. Not much flavor in that. Hector is a great server though. Wine is over priced too. I'll be coming back foe a third time and order a chicken pasta but will drink my glass of wine if the parking lot hahahaha.

Yelp
I was truly looking forward to final dinner out for our anniversary staycation at Filomena's Italian Kitchen. Having had a remarkable experience for lunch before with my friend I was excited for my husband to share in the fabulous service, phenomenal flavorful food and pleasant environment. HOWEVER, unfortunately, I don't think this was the correct evening to bring my husband and I'm really frustrated about that because of how much I raved about Filomena's. I think I have explained that my husband is a tough critic in the first place so I was truly expecting a "hit" with this dining experience. One big thing for me is consistency which is how I deem a restaurant or service true high quality and multiple 5 stars. That needed to be said. First, the host needs to be recognized for how friendly, professional and warm he was. He went above and beyond to begin our evening in a very positive way. Let me explain... upon arrival he saw we were to be seated at a certain table but noticed that another better had just been vacated. He shared this info and said "just let me go clear it quickly for you and you'll be at my favorite table. Although wherever you'd prefer is good either way." What a guy right? So he cleared it and seated us and was just super nice letting us know we'd be taken care of soon. However this is where it all went wrong. While we were sitting chatting the group behind us was laughing and talking extremely loud. It got so uncomfortably loud we could barely hear each other so much for the pleasant environment. Next as we were STILL waiting I noticed how very busy it was and how much the ONE server I saw was sweating and yet still stopping and chatting when assisting tables. Mind you as I've said about business NOT being an excuse for bad service or food but better yet a time to step it up and prove why you are a 5 star worthy restaurant or service. Once we FINALLY got service, Hector, took our drink order and made light of the wait and the noise and I wanted to see how the rest of the night was going to go so I always offer encouragement and empathize when I see a difficult situation and don't want to make it worse. I am also looking at what kind of dining experience the server and chef are going to offer me with that challenge. Basically, we waited again, asked a few questions which he seemed to get a lot of because he appeared annoyed about it even though I was trying to lighten the mood with a few lighthearted chuckles here and there. We ordered the cheese garlic bread as an appetizer. My husband ordered the spaghetti & meatballs with Sunday sauce and I ordered the pappardelle bolognese and Hector said "Now your wife knows the right sauce to get". I didn't know whether to be flattered or upset he insulted my husband. Anyway... I had wanted to try their tiramisu as I had their cannoli at the lunch i previously had which was fabulous. Let me preface this by saying I am Italian and tiramisu and cannolis were a staple in the house not only for dessert so I like to try them at Italian restaurants. Unfortunately this tiramisu was subpar. It had an interesting presentation but it did not offer the customer the view of the pretty layers and all of the cocoa was doused on top which was not favorable to the dessert. I could barely taste amaretto or any flavor that the lady fingers were soaked in as sometimes bakers like to be creative with unique and tasty choices but there wasn't much of anything to me. I only took two bites... why waste the calories right? The food was hot, flavorful and absolutely tantalizing to my tastebuds. My husband even remarked when I apologized about the evening that at least the food was really good!!! So that's saying something! The stars I gave were for the chef and host. Also I had preordered their almond florentines from the bakery and the host had them ready for me upon leaving. Just getting those delightful baked treats made the 12 minute drive there worth it. At this point I will only be going back to the bakery for their wonderful fresh baked goodies. :(

Yelp
Decent Italian food. They have a little deli market attached to the restaurant where you can by fresh raw pasta and other ingredients that you can bring home to cook. The restaurant has a nice cozy ambience, with good service. The Pappardelle Bolognese pasta was good. The Veal Milanese was good but there was way too much lemon in the sauce. Also I think the style of breading would lend itself better to the Chicken Milanese. Nevertheless next time I would get the Marsala entree. We got the Sauteed Mushrooms appetizer that is prepared Marsala style and it was awesome. Their wine menu is outrageously expensive. You cannot find a bottle of white wine for less than $50. You can bring your own for a corkage fee of $25.

Yelp
Went there for lunch at their deli yesterday. The Italian sandwich was amazing. It was so big it fed 3 people. Tons of delicious meats and the bread was perfect. I told the person behind the counter that it was delicious and her reply was " it's because it was made with love" what an amazing thing to say! They had all sorts of wonderful things in the deli. Will try them out for dinner in the near future.

Yelp
Horrible service through Door Dash. Ordered a dish that "was not Available" but charged through Door dash. Order was delivered and told that item was not available but still charged. Contacted Filomena's and they told me it was a Door dash problem and to contact DD.

Yelp
Amazing food ! Love this spot to eat charcuterie boards are amazing ! ............................

Yelp
I've been eyeing this place for years and I've finally had a chance to give it a try. Market: They have noodles, cookie dough, to-go items you can eat in the car. Yummy cookies, my favorite are the wedding cookies! They also have pasta salad and gelato as well as wine to pair with pastas. Restaurant: We had - Calamari: super fresh tasted so good Bruschetta: maybe one of the best ones I've had. Not to hard to bite through toasted to perfection Fettuccine Alfredo: with an addition of Chicken for the protein - this was the best fettuccine I've ever had. The service was great, very attentive. The place is such a cute little gem so close to my house. Please go and check it out. Definitely going to be making sure to visit once a month.

Yelp
First of all, the service was phenomenal. My issues were with the costs. Everything was ala carte. I had the pappardelle bolognese with sausages for $28 + $15 =$43.00 for an entree, no bread, no salad. I got a house salad for $13, extra dressing was .50. The pappardelle was salty. And the sausages were extremely salty. This place is not for me $$$. The restaurant was extremely busy on a Friday night. And the service was impeccable.

Yuri S.

Yelp
Myriam G is amazing and exceptional when it comes to service at Filomena's. My family and I keep going back because of her. We will always root for her to lead Filomena's to their well deserved success!
google avatar

Karmina B.

Yelp
Excellent food the pizza is amazing at the white pizza and some pasta and it was excellent second time there and I love it every time. Why was great service was fantastic. Had a beautiful little girl serving her table with the most beautiful personality. Her name was Nadia the best service ever You need to try. It is a cozy little place in Costa Mesa.
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
Great food... but why did I have to sit in the bombed out, third world, paper-covered-windowed adjunct dining room when NO ONE was sitting in the main dining room? I had reservations! Were they trying to recreate a scene out of a WW2 Italian resistance meeting, hiding from Mussolini's goons over pasta? I just don't get it.
google avatar

R M.

Yelp
Incredible service and outstanding pizzas! We will try the pasta next time. Seems like a local favorite with all the guests eating there.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Great meal here. Ambiance is cozy and quaint like Nonna's home. Service was excellent and the bolognese was the best I've had. Everything we had was really good: calamari, chicken parm, ravioli, salmon. I'm particular about Italian food and this place hit the mark!
google avatar

SMP M.

Yelp
We used to love Filomena's and have been going there since 2013 or 14 but I'm pretty sure I remember reading they were sold and IMO the quality of the food has continued to decline as the prices have increased dramatically. There's a lot of great options in Costa mesa for delicious Italian food so unfortunately, I think we're gonna have to cross Filomena's off of our list.

Yelp
Here goes my first review ever. I tried Filomena's for the first time last night. Great food, great environment and a great waiter. So why the bad review you may be asking? Well, I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana that came with spaghetti. When it arrived, the spaghetti consisted of about two small bites, probably less than an ounce. So, I asked for a little more. What came was a huge bowl of spaghetti noodles with no sauce. So I explained that that it was way too much, and not what I was expecting. I asked for a little more Sunday gravy and they brought this tiny little container all packed up to go. Then, I got the bill which included an additional $12.00 ($6 for the extra side of Spaghetti and $6 for the small dollop of Sunday gravy) all because I asked for a little more pasta that was shorted on my original dish in the first place. Totally disappointed! Filomena's is just one more example of the growing number of greedy restaurants that have raised their prices to exorbitant levels and also nickel and dimes their customers for extras. I should not have been charged for the extra pasta and sauce. That dish was not constructed correctly in the kitchen. Filomena's should have corrected their mistake they made in their attempt prepare the dish the first time. Like I said, I so wanted this to be a great experience and become a go to favorite. Nick's is gone, Sabatino's is gone, Spaghetti Bender is now gone. Any body out there have recommendations for good, old school Italian restaurants with reasonable prices? The only place I can think of is Haus of Pizza in Costa Mesa. They have consistently great food with reasonable prices.

Yelp
I always start my reviews with service because great service, exceptional service is what describes the entire experience. I had to pick a place to meet my brother and sister-in-law, so I of course "yelped it." Reviews were great and I love the pictures of a restaurant within a store. I arrived a few minutes after my family and was greeted with the sweetest smile and polite server. Shame on me because I did not have his name.! he greeted me right away offered me something to drink besides water. He already delivered wine and bread to the table before I got there. I had the angel pasta with olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, and basil, and I added chicken., my brother had the Bolognese and a side of meatballs in the sundae sauce and my sister-in-law had a mushroom pasta. Everything was exceptional. Noodles were al dente, perfect. Flavor was oh so on point. My angel hair had a little bit of spice and you can taste the garlic, the fresh basil and everything else in it. It was so good. My brother said that the Bolognese was probably one of the best and he's very picky. The store was equally nice, a lot of wonderful pastries and a gelato bar. We had a scoop of gelato and it was good. Overall this is the cutest little place and fortunately for my brother and sister-in-law, they will be back often unfortunately for me I live a little far from their location overall really great experience one thing to consider is the parking. If you Google this, it's a little difficult to see where the location is. It's a tiny little strip mall and very minimal parking overall wonderful. In fact, so good that I didn't even take my pictures cause I was too busy eating everything.

Chef Tilly G.

Yelp
Food was ok nothing special. Ambiance is the real problem. They opened up next door but have done nothing to present it to the customer. Paper on windows blocking light and feels like you're in a storage room eating. Overall nothing special

Yelp
Food was good as usual. Service was subpar. Waiter struggled with the specials making them sound very unappealing...seemed to be a language barrier. Ambiance was terrible. If you're not in the preferred dining room, you get to look at dirty and drab blinds and windows. Three TVs with fake cafes on the screen. Please make the second overflow room clean and respectable.

Yelp
Oh boy. In what world is this a normal sandwich. Gigantic, filling, and full of meat, the Italian special and chicken sandwich were wondrous sandwiches. My human insinkerator of a partner and I were astonished by the weight and size of the sandwich. A heavy weight champion (the sandwich, not my partner). The Italian special has so many types of cold cuts that the layers of meat conducts a chaotic, but harmonious, symphony in your mouth. A little spiciness added by the peppers it is *chefs kiss* The chicken sandwich was more simple, but in a great way. The saltiness from the Italian was well balanced by taking a bite of the chicken sandwich. We originally wanted a grilled chicken sandwich (hot sandwich) but we were told that there were only cold sandwich available. We went around noon on Sunday. I wish we knew that coming in, but we were surprised by the amount of food we received so we were satisfied. Clean and friendly, the shop had an outside seating area, where we ate the sandwich with our pup. We also saw a man buy 5 pizza doughs while we were there, so we'll have to go back to see if the pizza dough is that good you want to buy 5. Thanks for the foood!

Yelp
Ordered the penne alla vodka which is a relatively rare dish here in OC, and thought it was pretty good for the area. I also appreciated that their Caesar salad that had romaine lettuce could have the dressing changed to vinaigrette to cut out on the Caesar. Definitely a good place to try if you want a variety of Italian foods.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday dinner with my hubby... left the kids at home. Found this place on YELP and decided to give it a try. The parking lot is much too small to accommodate the businesses at this plaza. We walked in and went to the restaurant side. The restaurant is super cute, but seating is tight. We did not have reservations. We arrived around 4:00 pm. The restaurant had 2 other parties aside from us and we were seated at the smallest table next the the window. Tiny table and hot. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs with Sunday sauce and chicken piccata. Caesar salad - 4/5 Spaghetti & meatballs - 4/5, Sunday sauce, although good, was a bit disappointing. The way the waiter described it we thought it would be much more flavorful. Meatballs were moist. Chicken piccata - 4/5, would like a little more pasta, but the sauce and chicken were very good. The meal felt like it was missing something and that was bread. Next time, I will order some sort of bread. My husband's meal came with a slice of cold bread, no butter. It was bleh. We will be back, probably try a sandwich on the deli side.

Yelp
Nothing special, food was pretty blend. The veal was dry, not tender at all. The place is nice and the market too. Service was okay.

Yelp
That's Italian!! Fresh pasta, handmade, with care, Rich, savory pizza with mushrooms to share, Shrimp scampi on angel hair, light and divine, With a salad so bright, crisp, and refined. Top it off with espresso, bold and pure-- At Filomena's, you'll find a meal that's truly the cure!

Yelp
Food is outstanding! Clearly home made, and very passionate. I've had the ravioli, chicken Parmesan, and pesto and it's all phenomenal. The ambiance is also really comfortable and well decorated. Service is fantastic as well, shout out to our server Julian who's made great recommendations each time! This is my new go to spot for all things Italian.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I got the pappardelle bolognese and it was delicious! It was filling and flavorful. The pasta was fresh. When you walk in, to the left is the restaurant, and to the right is a deli area. They sell some of their pastas and sides already packaged to go in their refrigerated section. It's half the price if you buy it cold. Good to know! Mariam was the lovely lady at the counter who checked me out. She was so nice and attentive. She looked me in the eyes. Engaged in a conversation. It's hard to find people who are genuine and care about customer service. She was on it. I wish I could have tipped her more :(. So please go in and tip her as much as you can! And give her a raise! Also, the garlic cheesy bread looks amazing but it's hard to justify $15. I'm just one person and it would be nice to have a smaller portion option for us single people :) The food was great, top notch customer service, and a great vibe. Check it out!
