"Fin.Ca takes cues and ingredients from the border region’s two Californias to bring an eclectic menu offering American-style steakhouse entrees and “Caliterranean” seafood dishes, mashing up Baja’s bounty with old-world cooking. The bar focuses on Prohibition-era inspired cocktails and also features Napa Valley wines and Baja craft brews." - Mario A. Cortez

New up and coming restaurant in Tijuana. Decor is very modern and fancy - concrete, wood. The lighting is low and music is loud, great for drinks and dates. The food was good - the pasta lacked a bit of taste but we loved the tartare. Service was quick and very friendly. We were told soon they will be opening a rooftop with live DJ which sounds promising!

You have to valet, and it’s $5. Great customer service very attentive. Rib eye was delicious. A bit overpriced for what it is but overall good place.

My first time here and it was amazing. Service was outstanding and the food was excellent. Looking for some rooftop fun, this restaurant has a rooftop open deck upstairs for live dj, drinks and fun Friday and Saturday nights. A MUST try

Food is excellent, the drinks are smooth, music is down to earth and the service is perfect. The bread and pasta are all made in-house. We will most definitely be making a trip back here for a special occasion. If you rate this place lower than 4 stars, you are a Karen.

This review is not a rant or complaint, but rather not my cup of tea. Had an ok experience and the setup was pretty close to the French restaurant Emma across the way, however it was kinda muggy and smokey upon entering. Ordered at 8:10 pm and wasn't served until 8:55 pm so not a great start. I wasn't sure what the concept is, but the name of the restaurant means the end of California which is technically the border town of TJ so perhaps that's why it seems to be a fusion menu. The ribeye though generous at 500 grams or 17 oz was cooked at the right temp and appeared to be be a prime cut, is extremely expensive and costs as much as Morton's or Ruth's Chris, but without the steakhouse standard. When I say that it was because we asked for a charred crust (Chicago style) and didn't quite get it. Very underseasoned and does not come with any sides unless you order it. I did enjoy the side salad which was also quite pricey, but the abundance of greens made up for it. Very refreshing, crisp, and fresh sprinkled with a generous heaping of parmesan cheese. Menu was pretty limited and no fish option for our main entree selection except for octopus which was grilled properly. Kind of odd to see chinese baos on the menu. The wifey said she had the mushroom and truffle risotto last time she came with her friends where they used fresh/real truffles so I was intrigued by that, but didn't end up ordering it because well, carbs lol. They also have your standard baja mex fare such as tostadas and tacos. So is it a steakhouse? An Asian, Baja fusion place? This year's trendy date spot? Or an anti republican joint? Not sure what their type of cuisine and identity is, but I'll rate it 2.5 stars downgraded to 2 for the warm/smokey atmosphere, long wait, under-salted steak, and high price equivalent or higher than the states.

Not going to lie, had a great experience here after we missed our flight back home. Walking distance from Marriott, two kids in tow, the food, drinks, service and wine selection were great. Great atmosphere, makes you want to keep the night going.

Good mixology, great tasting food. Lot of variety plus cool atmosphere. What more can you ask for.

What a phenomenal experience! From the food to the staff to the food again to the drinks. We snuck down for a late Sunday dinner & ended up having one of the best meals I have ever had in TJ.( See pics to confirm my cheeks & belly like to eat, A LOT!) We started with some fancy drinks that came in funny and unique mugs. I had the Mojito Classico. It was refreshing & delicious. Then came one of the best Tuna Tartare's followed by delicious, creamy filled, fried balls made by Abuela. Then all topped off with the pulpo & a light but extremely flavorful soup that will blow your mind! Finish it off with a chocolate & caramel & brownie dessert to officially call this meal heavenly. The Expresso came in an awesome little shot glass with a face and the mouth had a cookie in it! The architecture on the inside and out is outstanding. The bathroom has the coolest sink... Where did the water go?!?!
