Finback Brewery

Really lovely spot in LIC!! Great drinks and food at reasonable price points. When we went the short but interesting food menu was Asian inspired, and the dishes were really well done. I personally loved the wontons the most, but my friends raved about the noodles as well. The drinks were delicious and interesting, and they have a great seasonal lineup this summer. The bar staff (and just staff in general) were so nice and worked very quickly. It was a decently busy night but we didn’t wait long for drinks or food. They also had trivia night when we went (I believe every Wednesday), and it was great vibes! Highly recommend!

Very cute place in LIC with amazing selection of local draft beers. The first one was Crispy Morning in a 16oz glass, 5.2% house Pilsner The second one was Cats are people too! 13oz 9% DIPA. LOVE IT! (Maybe I love the name of the beer) The darkest one is something something BQE, 16.8% serves in either 6oz or 8oz. Insanely strong for a beer, coffee cocoa flavor. By the way, they sell the glass! Really like the design.

LIC was begging for a top-tier brewery, and Finback answered the call. The space is fantastic—whether you're flying solo, rolling in with a duo, bringing the family, or rounding up the crew, it's got the perfect vibe. The Sichuan-inspired Chinese food is absolutely delicious (and yes, that means it's got some heat!). The beer? Impeccable. And let’s talk about the cocktails—Finback is the only brewery where I actually order them. Huge shoutout to Zach, a mixologist who knows his craft. This spot is a gem.

Couldn't be more impressed by their beer offerings and the knowledgeable bartender Matt. I'm a huge beer nerd and felt right at home chatting with him. They are for sure the best beer in Queens and definitely in contention for best beer in the city. Their guezue is right there with Alligash for top american versions and their NE IPAs are better than other half.

Great spot! Tons of beer on tap but a great selection of cocktails as well. Only wish they were open later on weekends!

The newest branch in NY still remembers its roots and keeps everyone happy. Outstanding beers on tap and a really “wild” selection in bottles. Plenty of space and a dynamic Scandi vibe (I am allowed to judge that after 24 years). Friendly and knowledgeable staff, backed up by some intriguing food options. 50m from the subway if there happens to be a storm…

It's nice to know that there is yet another taproom on this side of Queens Boulevard. It's quite easy to get to this location via public transportation. The beers are the same good ones from their Glendale & Gowanus locations.

Awesome place, newest FINBACK taproom, worth to visit for sure! They have a lot of stuff in menu, especially in fridges. Lot of bottles to chose from, decent prices and oh boy, they are good!

Big fan of their other location so was excited to try this one out. Really quaint space, especially for the area. Probably not so dog friendly and warehousey like the first location, which is such a draw for the original location. But this fits the area and isn't as overwhelming as some of the nearby spots. Beer selection is great, similar to the original. The dishware is actually really cool, so appreciated that as well. Staff were super nice and knew their stuff about the taps. Overall nice addition to the brewery scene of LIC and would definitely go back!

Finback! Welcome to LIC! It's nice and cozy and we hope you stay for a while. I can't wait to come back here and hang out! I had a quick visit at the new brewery where I stopped to pick up a birthday gift for a friend. My original idea was to get a growler for my friend but Finback doesn't do growlers. Instead they sell cans and bottles to go. I decided to do a mix and match of four cans. The guy handling things behind the bar became my guide as I navigated through what cans I were to select for my friend. I landed on Dot Dot Dot, Sorta Queens and Banana Drip. The 4th one I can't remember the name but when I tasted it, it's had hints of mango and it was my favorite (ugh why did I forget the name). All beers were delish even though I tried a wide range and all types. Huge shout out to the bartender for guiding me in the right direction. My birthday gift was a hit. The place itself was super chill and I can totally see coming back for an after work drink.

I don't drink much but my friends and I was there last Sunday evening to hang out. The entrance is a little discreet but if you're watchful enough then you should be able to find your way inside. They have a big selection of beer in addition to (close to a) nonalcoholic drink. I did a big run that day and did not want to dehydrate myself any more so I went with the nonalcoholic drink - it didn't try too hard to resemble the taste of beer, but had a nice amount of carbonation and I actually enjoyed it. Staff is attentive. They let us deliver pizza from another place, but they are not too entirely happy with that, so be mindful and ask nicely when doing that. We were a group of seven, but the space was pretty big so we were able to find seating easily. I also liked that we were able to hear each other because the background music was pretty quiet.

I love beer and we came here because they also have a cocktail selection for my wife who does not drink beer. The service was amazing and we will definitely be back to try more. Of your not sure of what you like they give samples as well.

Finback's third location. Lots of options with about twenty taps. Mostly beers but they had coffee and cocktails on tap too. They had liquor too with an emphasis on mezcal. Great space which accommodated our group easily.

Soft opening. Friends and family. New beers. New merch. Just as amazing as the other 2 locations (Glendale and Brooklyn). Czech-style dark lager (4.2%) is amazing. Beautiful color, smooth from start to finish. Apricot fresh (close to a sour, but not) a saison with apricot and chamomile (5.8%). The house blend coffee stout (7%) is made with their own Invisible force coffee. There are 4 different BQEs to choose from. So hard to decide which is better so why not have them all? Only drawback is limited street parking but the R train is right here and there's a parking garage across the street. For their actual opening they will include wine (yum) and cocktails with their house-made gin, vodka and tequila (not sure they make it, but it's super). Happy to have another Finback for the FinFam to hang out in!!!! Thanks guys.

Been waiting for this brewery to open and now I'm very excited for an additional spot to hang out in LIC. Wished they had some entertainment options though like sports streams or interactive games, but the drink options are very solid. I'm a pretty big stout gal, so I was very excited to see the many stout options they had to offer. Highly recommend the banana pudding stout because the aroma and taste is very spot on! Also tried the coffee cake stout and it had a very subtle hint of coffee. They also had an almond croissant stout that I hope to try in the future! They also have a plethora of drink options. The cocktails all sounded very delicious. The espresso martini cocktail should be a highly sought after drink for those who need an extra zing. I ordered the guavamante and really enjoyed it esp if you like sweet drinks. I saw an assortment of halftone gin drinks which were essentially variations of gin and tonic. The Spanish gin and tonic was very clean and refreshing to drink. Would definitely order that again. They also gave a very generous serving of the drink. Service was great and the space was optimal for casual hangouts! I would definitely bring my friends here again when I want to catch up and hang. Not much parking space, but it'll turn up as you circle around. Also a lot of trains like the Queens Plaza trains run here so it's easily accessible.

There is a huge selection of beer of all flavors. So many choices. The vibe is a little classier than your typical taproom. It was extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon.
