Stopped by Finjān Coffee Co and absolutely loved it. Super cute shop with a warm, inviting vibe, and the establishment was very clean. The staff was super friendly, and there wasn’t a long wait at all. They use house-made syrups, and I loved the cups they serve the drinks in. Such a nice touch. We tried the vanilla bean latte, pistachio latte, and Turkish coffee, and all were excellent. The knafeh was delicious and paired perfectly with the coffee. A great spot for quality coffee and desserts. Definitely worth a visit ☕️💙

Cute small coffee shop. The coffee is so good! Definitely recommend the Orange Latte. The Baklawas are so yummy! The perfect combination of crisp and sweetness. Unfortunately, we never got the Monkey Toast and kinda forgot until we were far away from it. So, there is no way to review that 🤷🏽‍♀️ *It is small, and sitting is not plus size friendly when it comes to the bar/high chairs*

Knafeh cold foam matcha was delicious like an 8/10. Also ordered the salted pistachio latte and would give that a 5/10– was just really sweet and didn’t taste too much like coffee. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors but gets a bit loud because they are busy. Be prepared to wait about 15-20 mins for your order as well for the same reason. Would recommend coming here for matcha but not for coffee. Parking lot out front is easy and free.

Okay espresso. Strong wifi and good for group meetups. The baklava was a large piece and delicious. The cheesecake was incredible. Tea tasted nice but was served with a thick skin on top. Does that mean they reheat it in the microwave? I would happily wait longer for fresh. Counter service only. Friendly staff, but I wish they had table service when my ankle was sprained. My friend helped retrieve my drinks for me.

I have been here a handful of times, and today was the first time I got a hot latte. It was perfectly frothed and the vanilla bean syrup was not too sweet. Everyone is always nice, including the patrons. A great place to work or vibe, but during the weekday it gets a bit busy.

Ordered an extra hot latte which took forever to come out. And it wasn’t even extra hot. Seating is limited and seems to be dominated by people spending all day there with a Mac and a drip coffee, meaning no tables were available. They do have some interesting teas and stuff that I’ll try next time I’m in the neighborhood and wanting something to go.

Coffee and baklava were excellent. However, I must have gone at the wrong time. There was no one in line and only one person sitting waiting for their order. I only had a few minutes but figured since there was no line I’d have my drink in no time. It was 12 minutes before they even started my drink. Not a big deal but it also came out incorrect as I had ordered to-go. So, I would suggest either ordering online before you go or be prepared to wait 15 minutes or so for your order. Regarding space; another person suggests this is a good place for a group meeting but it didn’t seem that big to me. A couple small tables outside and a few more inside with another bar-table. So small groups might work but probably not if you want something intimate for more than 4.

Amazing place! I ordered ahead and my coffee was just waiting for me. I always get the cold brew lemonade! It’s my absolute favorite that I would have never ordered if it wasn’t recommended by one of the owners, Moody. Walked in and was instantly greeted. Everyone is always so friendly and kind. Highly recommend Finjan!

This place is a gem! The service was so friendly and helpful. The baklava was incredibly fresh and delicious. We tried both flavors, the walnut cinnamon was exceptional! The traditional pistachio was perfection. We got both of the sparkling espresso drinks and they were so good! Well balanced, just the right amount of sweet. We tried the orange and the lemon one, would order both again. And love the round ice shape. The bar seating was so cute. Cute little ambiance. Lots of people chatting, working and sipping. We already cant wait to come back.

I was looking for a coffee spot that served food and a friend recommended this place. It's got plenty of parking which is a plus. It's in a little Plaza with other restaurants next to it. I ordered the pistachio Latte iced. I was hoping to order some food, but their menu was kind of limited with mostly smaller fare, and there was nothing that sounded appetizing to me at the time. The person I was with did order some of the avocado toast, it did seem a bit pricey to me, but she said it was good. My latte was good, and I like that they crushed pistachios on the top. It also wasn't overly sweet with a ton of syrups and things, so I like that. The seating inside is very minimal, they do have a few spaces outside, but again not very much. I know this is very common with a lot of coffee places so I wasn't that's surprised. The cashier at the counter was very nice and she answered all of our questions, and had patience as it was our first time. I didn't feel like the menu was a bit small, not only food-wise, but the drinks as well. Since it is October I was also a bit surprised not to see more fall themed items, which is something a lot of other places to that I enjoy. Overall, if I were in the area, and I just wanted a quick coffee, I would go back.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place searching on Yelp for coffee shops nearby, and found this lovely place. I'm usually one to always go to a place with Matcha, but boy! This is one of the only places I would go to that doesn't have it on it's menu (unless that changed). The drinks were always up to par. My boyfriend is the coffee enthusiast and is particular with it, and he really enjoys Finjan. He wants to try the Turkish coffee next time we go. Service is great. Hard working people and super inviting! Great place to study as well! They got outlets to charge, and some outdoor seating.

Stellar coffee! Drinks aren't that sweet which i absolutely love! I wish the Rose Cardamom latte was a permanent menu item it was that good. The Nutella Turkish coffee is amazing too! Baklava is fresh and delicious, and labne toast is a great snack. I will say the Turkish coffee takes really long to make. Like super long (15-20 mins for us). We finished all of our food by the time the coffee was ready. Just something to keep in mind!

Cute coffee place! Ordered the Turkish coffee (medium sweet) with the walnut cinnamon baklawa piece. The coffee was bold and tasty and the baklawa so good, crunchy not too sweet. Not greasy, nice small portion but you will definitely want more of it. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the simple menu. Came here in the morning right before the 8:30am rush. You can sweeten the Turkish coffee to your liking. Staff was friendly. Would definitely want to try more menu items. TY Finjan coffee!

What makes a good coffee shop? Well, for starters, it doesn't have green logo with a topless mermaid. Which means the coffee is sourced from a reputable local roaster. Selection: Not just coffee, but food and dessert as well. I ordered the seasonal iced Salted Tahini Honey Latte w/ regular milk and my friend got the basic hot Vanilla Bean Latte. If I wasn't still full from my meal at Tahini's, I would've tried Baklava or Knafeh. I'll return next time with these treats in mind! Enough tables indoors and outdoors. Just the perfect size for a coffee shop! Based on the open laptops on the indoor tables, they should have free wifi.

A really nice, fairly new coffee shop in Kearny Mesa. It's right next door to the restaurant Tahini, and I believe it's owned by the same people. The vanilla bean latte and Arab cold brew are both really tasty. The cinnamon and mint are great additions to the Arab cold brew that elevate it a bit. The blueberry mint refresher is pretty nice too, almost like a mocktail. The avocado toast isn't bad, but I always feel like avocado toast that's over $9 needs meat or something extra to justify the price. It was presented well and was fresh, but I'm not sure I'd order it again. The interior is pretty cool, and the seating is nice. There are plenty of high stools at a bar, and there are also numerous booths and a few tables outside. The staff is friendly, and the shop is very cleanly. It's definitely worth checking out, and is one of the better coffee shops in this part of Kearny Mesa.

We came here after dinner at a Convoy Asian restaurant for some coffee, and we both love it. My wife loves the pistachio latte (decaf with almond milk), and after I tried it, I fell in love with it as well. It goes so well with the two types of baklava, walnut and pistachio, which we really enjoy as well! There are about 5 or 6 tables inside, and a few more outside. The baristas/cashiers are all friendly and accommodating. After that first time, we've been coming back almost every Friday night. I'm sure we will be going back many more times!

What a unique experience! It's a modern Middle Eastern cafe with all sorts of fresh beverages. I love that there are some caffeinated drinks and some that are tea-based instead. You can also alter the drinks. It tasted authentic and very fresh! Great spot!

A hidden gem coffee shop in Kearny Mesa! The iced orange latte was refreshing and tasted good, but the orange flavor did not come through as much. Side note: this didn't impact the flavor but I loved that they used circular ice cubes! My friend also tried the Turkish coffee and said it was one of the strongest they've had. The toasts came out on gorgeous plates and tasted as good as they looked! The Labne toast was tasty and the ingredients paired well with each other, especially with the mint. The monkey toast would be better for those with a sweet tooth, and had simple and fresh ingredients that could definitely be recreated at home. Service was fantastic and our plates were cleared for us, and with the indoor and outdoor seating it was a great spot for us to catch up and relax.

This place is a gem. Amazing! There's not many coffee spots in the area that serve great espresso, this one is my favorite. I love ordering online before I leave for work. I typically get a cappuccino with almond milk here. I also love their iced latte unsweetened with almond milk. They have sphere ice, ice game on point! One time a woman working was so kind and made me a mint iced latte with fresh mint (which is not on the menu). She was so kind to do so, I hope they add this to the menu in the future! I've had their Turkish coffee, it was a cool experience but not an everyday thing for me. It's a tiny spot, few tables to work and hang. Get lunch at Tahini next door! :)

I LOVE FINJAN!!! Such an awesome place to get a beverage of various kinds at any time of day. I am very picky about coffee and they have some of the best coffee in San Diego, with some really unique options! My favorite drink so far has been their iced salted tahini latte. It's sooo good and a flavor I haven't found anywhere else. I also really love all their various lemonades when it's too late in the day for caffeine. I usually order online for pickup and they are always putting my order out right when I arrive. They are quick, efficient and super sweet going out of their way to greet me or compliment me each time. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating but it is limited and they have a good amount of loyal customers (rightfully so!!!). The decor is also really cute with several hanging lights (none too bright), and a beautiful quote on the wall. Aside from being an absolute must for their quality of beverages and services, I also highly recommend going and supporting a small business that deserves it!!! Will be a loyal customer from here on out, they have entirely won me over.

Finjan had been on my list for a while now and I'm glad I got a chance to come visit. The menu is unlike any I've seen before. Their menu leans to Middle Eastern flavors and they serve Arabic and Turkish coffee. I enjoyed a Basbousa cold brew, a spring special cold brew that has hints of coconut in the cold foam and the stewed fava bean toast. Amazing tastes. The coffee was well balanced and not too sweet. The toast was a large portion and good enough for dinner. The barista was so great and she answered all my questions and gave me some suggestions for my next visit. The knafeh is the clear favorite item to order. It is made to order so it comes out hot and flaky. I've saw many of the patrons order this and it's definitely on my list to try next time. The barista also noted the baklawa is made fresh in the morning and if I wanted to try that, to come early. I will also do that since it's one of my favorite pasties. Unique places like Finjān are rare finds. Order online available. Casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Got a cappuccino and it came out pretty quick. At $5 I would get it again. It came out super hot if you like that. Once it cooled down it had a very nice, clear nutty and caramel-y flavor. On a Friday morning seating was tight with people working and chilling. Plenty of parking.

Food and coffee were incredible! But we waited an extremely long time, maybe 20-30 minutes for our coffee? The food came out promptly but the coffee did not and it wasn't super crowded. I don't know if this is normal. If you are in a rush or even on a time schedule, you would absolutely have to leave without your coffee if this is normal for their service. Otherwise 5 stars.

Unassuming tinted window front door entrance leads to a minimalist clean and inviting interior. The open kitchen concept allows one to see the Turkish coffee being made. I ordered the salted pistachio latte, labne toast and a pistachio baklava. The pics below are beautiful and the taste of each was a Turkish delight to say the least! Will be back and you should too!

This is such a cute chill place to work during the week. I came here on a Monday morning and it was quiet and peaceful but also with a good amount of customers. There were a lot of baristas behind the counter and it took a bit of a wait to get my drink but I think it's related to the amount of customers being there. I got a honey cinnamon latte and was able to get almond milk instead of milk whole milk. It was delicious and hot, creamy with a touch of sweetness. It was so perfect for a cold morning. I love that they make their own syrups in house and it doesn't taste artificial. My friend got an iced vanilla latte and I love that the ice comes in large balls so it melts a lot slower than the small pebble ice. I wanted to try the Turkish coffee but I think it comes in a smaller amount so I went with a latte. The food looked delicious as well but I didn't have time to try any so hoping I can grab something next time!

Wow, this place was delicious! We tried 2 of the coffee sodas: Sparkling Mazagran which is their take on a classic North African drink. It had: Double Shot Espresso + House Lemon Syrup + Fresh Mint + Sumac + Topo Chico. They give you the extra topo chico on the side which is nice. And they use the sphere ice cubes which is so cool. But the drink was delicious and refreshing. Finished it instantly. Sparkling Coconut Lime Coffee Soda which was a seasonal special. It had: Double Shot Espresso + House Coconut Syrup + Fresh Lime + Topo Chico Sparkling Water but strangely this one did not come with the extra topo chico on the side like the Mazagran. Also very refreshing and delicious. It tasted a little creamy from the coconut. We also tried 1 piece of Baklawa and should have got more. Super flaky, buttery, perfect sweetness and nuttiness. Delicious. $4/piece though. Place had constant stream of people on a mid-morning Saturday. Enough parking though I think because nothing else was open in there at that hour.

Im here drinking an Arab Cold Brew as I type this. This coffee shop is AMAZING. Great Middle Eastern vibes, decor, music, drinks, and food. My partner got the Arab Sparkling Fruit Punch and it is absolutely DIVINE. A must try for non caffeine fans. Staff was very nice and kind. Definitely come try this place!

Finjan is the kind of place that just feels good to be in. It's relaxed, welcoming, and beautifully designed without trying too hard. Everything I ordered was great. The Moroccan mint tea was fresh and comforting. The toasts were flavorful, thoughtfully made, and really well balanced. The nut butter toast with fruit is probably my favorite. The space is bright, clean, and full of small details that make it feel intentional. Even the dishes are beautiful, and the atmosphere feels calm in the best way. The only downside is the parking lot. It's tight and frustrating, but that's more of a Kearny Mesa issue than a Finjan one. Just give yourself a few extra minutes if you're driving. If I lived closer, I'd come here all the time. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something peaceful with great food and drinks.

What a great little place on clairmont mesa. A unique and one of a kind coffee shop that specializes in Turkish coffee, espresso , and wonderful deserts such as baklava among others. Make sure to get here at a early time or mid day to avoid the rushes. Be patient because Turkish coffee takes time!

Came here with a friend & we got the turkish coffee and cinammon honey latte. The turkish coffee was great! I loved that the turkish coffee let's you choose the sweetness level. The cinnamon honey latte was so pretty, and delicious. The shop itself is quiet, perfect for people who want to study/get work done. The baristas were very kind and helpful-- one of them mentioned that the coffee shop and restaurant next door have the same owner! The food next door smelt amazing so I'll def come back for that!! & also to try their nitro cold brew.

Great spot opened late night! We needed a place to get some work done on a Friday night and this was the perfect spot! There's is indoor seated with tables and outlets. I will say it was mostly full with people working on a Friday night. I got the Salted pistachio latte and pistachio baklava and both were so delicious!'! Staff is super friendly and helpful and I will be adding this to our rotation of work spaces!

Out of all the coffee places I can drive to, it grinds (pun intended) down to mainly 3 reasons why I continue coming here: they have what I like, it's relatively close to me, and the baristas have good energy. This is what dictates my 5 star rating. There's another coffee shop near me that's on par with Finjan but I come here because they have an organic whole milk option for lattes. It's also important to know what you value and see your biases and adjust for them accordingly to provide a more accurate, full-bodied brew, I mean review. I try my best to become cognizant of the relevant data pieces that may skew my view: my ethnicity is Turkish and my work background entails a A LOT of top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment. So if I was not aware and did not account for it, I'd write an unhelpful biased review that went something like this: "I've had better Turkish baklava in Türkiye and the Turkish coffee is not as good as the cup I make at home. The baristas' less than Michelin-starred customer service warrant no tip." If I chose to come into Finjan with my previous experiences, expectations, and conditioning on my high horse wearing my filtered glasses, then the products and service will never be good enough for me. With all that said, here's my attempt at some objective observations as a regular at Finjan: It's a relatively small space for a coffee shop compared to other coffee shops I've been to. If you like a 6-foot bubble of space around you at all times, this place is not for you. They play all different types of music, sometimes it's soft and occasionally it sounds pretty loud. I see people studying or working on laptops sometimes. I personally wouldn't be able to focus and I don't prefer to have deep study/work time in environments where all my senses can be easily distracted. If you go early in the morning, you can smell the baklava coming out of the oven and enjoy it warm. Yum! The menu has classic coffee items along with some really interesting creations that pique my curiosity and have me deviate from my usual iced vanilla bean latte. I believe this is the only place in San Diego that offers a unique brewing of Turkish coffee in the sand. There use to be a place in Del Mar called, Bohemian Alchemist, that use to have it but they closed down. Such a bummer because I loved their concept. I've come at different times of the day and I have experienced both long and very short wait times. If you want a more specific range on how long the wait can be, order through the app and it will give you the estimate range of when your order will be ready. Some special items take longer to make than others. If you can't accept this, then a part of you is in denial of reality, my friend. My personal belief is the pricing is pretty on point. I think they've positioned themselves quite well with competitors in the San Diego market. Some of their items are pretty pricey but you have to remind yourself that they are running a small business and they wouldn't be able to continue offering what they offer at the same level and quality if they lost money in the process of making it. For the business: I LOVE the concept and the branding. The coffee "bar" use of shakers, jiggers, and spherical ice cubes adds a classy, elevated feel. I also enjoy the creative names for some of the drinks. "Ahmed Palmer" had me dying lol! Most baristas are lovely and friendly and I'm sure the more new hires will grow into their own with time. I've frequented a lot of coffee shops and I've noticed some establishments have really great coffee but the employees have an air of snobbiness to them and take their sweet time to decide when your drink gets made. Please don't become like them! It's a huge challenge to change the view of the typical "get my coffee through a drive-thru fast and make it Amazon-Walmart cheap and don't talk to me until I've had my coffee" demographic that's so prevalent in urban environments. But a big part of coffee/tea culture in middle-east/Eurasian cultures are known for hospitality and slowing down and enjoying being in the present moment with company...and I'd like to see Finjan stay true to this. Politely remind guests, consistently, that certain items take longer to make. Because they'll either not know or forget. Get all the baristas on at least on the same level of minimum customer service. Define what above and beyond excellent customer service is for your company. It can be in the little things that can make a huge difference for example, a customer orders a Turkish pot of tea...does it wait to be picked up at the end of the bar? Or does it arrive hand-served with warmth and a smile at the table of the one who ordered it? Make use of the glass divider where people wait in line by putting up on-brand infographics about some of the unique items you want to showcase that sets you apart.

Delicious baklawa and amazing coffee. The staff is friendly and very polite. The vibe is great for working and plenty of tables. One of the best baklawa in town. The price is okay.

This place is so great and I'd come here again and again. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. My must-try's are the pistachio baclava and buttered pecan latte (a seasonal special). It does get a little busy, but I haven't had any trouble snagging a table (maybe a little bit of luck helped). They also have outlets near most tables, making it easy to set up for remote work. One feedback is that their hot for-here cups don't have any handles, making them extremely hot and painful to carry to your table. Finjan, please use hot mugs with handles!! I'm sure your baristas will appreciate that while they're pouring the drinks as well.

Finjan Coffee has been on our radar for a while. We finally got the chance to give it a try! As we walked in the door, we were immediately greeted by the employees working. At the front entrance is where you would pick up your order. You'll have to walk further in to read the menu and order. For being a first timer, the lady was very patient and polite while we asked a ton of questions! We ended up ordering the Turkish coffee. ( Mazboot: meaning for the latte drinker ) They offer different levels. The menu shows whether you're the strong espresso lover to the sweet coffee drinker. We also ordered the avocado toast. It was delicious. The balsamic glaze was not sour like some that you'd find in salads. Overall, a very nice coffee shop. The decor was beautiful. They offer unique Turkish coffees as well as the regular coffees, teas, desserts to refreshers and three other types of toasts. Employees were friendly and helpful. Parking is a shared parking lot with other businesses. Busy times could get tricky! We will be back to try other menu items!!!

Finjan coffee, I'll be honest, I'm there for only 2 things. The best knafeh, I just love the crunchiness. Was unable to find the crunch at other places. Second, is the mint tea. Other items on the menu are good, but for me, this is the go to. Must go place to get a different perspective and new coffee taste. Bon appetite:)

This spot is EVERYTHING! The toasts were so fresh & clean. The tea was so tasteful and made exactly how I expected and more. The service was so kind, friendly, & diverse! The place was spotless! Total grab and go or grab and chat. It's a small location but so worth the visit. I'll deff be coming back!

Staff was super friendly. I ordered the dubai chocolate cold brew and it was amazing; I love when my coffee isn't too bitter. There were lots of people seated and socializing or working. I only wish that I could've pre-ordered knafeh for pickup, but I was in a hurry and couldn't wait the 10min for it to be made to order. Looking forward to stopping in when I can sit down to order knafeh and experience Turkish coffee.

The coffee and knafeh are legit and the customer service is great! The only thing I don't like about this place is that it is super small and packed indoors and you're basically forced to sit outside and guess when your order is ready. You can't even wait by the counter because it's narrow and it's by the entrance. I'll have to try and get here between the hours of 6:30-8am because there is no way you'll get indoor seating after 9am.

I am really picky with my drinks, but this spot never misses! I recently visited with a friend and we were helped right away. My friend got a Knafeh Cold Foam Cold Brew, which was a seasonal item, and I just got a box of 9 Pistachio Baklawa for $25 because I remember this spot being one of my favorite places for baklawa. I love the little details inside the shop, from the quote on the wall, to the way you could watch your drinks being made and even see it being made in the sand, Turkish style. While there were plenty of seating inside, it was all filled up, so we enjoyed our purchases at one of their outdoor seating. The Pistachio Baklawa here are by far some of the best I've ever had in SD. Some places drench it in honey making it soggy, but Finjan's are perfectly sweetened without it being overpowering AND the flavor is on point. I also like that the 2x I've purchased baklawas from here, it has always been consistent in texture, flavor, and quality. I can't wait to go back and get more + try out their other drinks!

Been to Finjān 5 times now and the drinks taste identical every. single. time! This is huge and goes to show they put an emphasis on quality of their products. I appreciate the friendly staff and their recommendations/ suggestions. This place can get pretty busy so make sure you leave some time to wait for your drink! Can't wait to come back.

Blueberry, mint refresher 9/10 Everything about this place is amazing. Now this place isn't too spacious, but it does have some room if you want to meet up with friends or work on your laptop. I didn't get to try any of the caffeinated drinks since it was a little late in the day, but I did have the blueberry mint refresher , and it was very, very refreshing. It's essentially a blueberry, mint fizzy lemonade. I thought the orange peel and the topo Chico sparkling water was an elegant touch. The service was awesome. The ladies that happened to be working there that evening were very kind and very welcoming. If I'm ever in the area and just polished off a hefty meal, I'm gonna need one of those blueberry mint refreshers!

Seems like a very popular cafe, as it was quite crowded with lots of people coming in and out. We ordered the salted pistachio latte, walnut baklava latte (seasonal), avocado toast, and labne toast. I usually order my drinks with light ice wherever I go, because a lot of places REALLY overdo it and fill like 90% of their cups with ice, which is just impractical. At Finjan, they don't go crazy on the ice, but at the same time it's one of those places where if you order your drink with light ice, they only fill up the cup like 3/4 of the way. I get it, you're giving the same amount of drink as if you got it with regular ice, but it's a pet peeve when cafes do this. If the drink looks this empty when asking for light ice, you're using too much ice by default. Plus, most other cafes will still fill it up all the way. I just think it's not a good look or experience. The drinks did taste good and as described, so it's good on the flavor front. The avocado toast was decent, and my husband said the labne toast was good. It offers something a little different, so it was a nice visit. But I will likely not be revisiting because there are other good cafes that aren't skimpy.

Today is Monday and boy does it feel like a Monday. I can hardly open my eyes at work so I needed a pick me up. Decided to try something new. This place was sweet from the minute I walked in the door. Service was outstanding. Very friendly staff made me feel comfy on what to order. This pistachio latte has crushed up nuts in it with a hint of sweetness. I chose oat milk and it's one of the creamiest coffee I've had in awhile. I would love to come back one day to try the Turkish coffee. That is the most popular choice. Sweet place plenty of room to make it your personal workspace.

Great Turkish coffee! I've never tried any Turkish coffee before since the options were so scarce in San Diego, I figured I would try it out during my visit to Finjan Coffee to study. The interior is quite clean and seems to be well set-up for the flow of traffic when coffee-drinkers line up the door, which is certainly a plus in comparison to other shops where the moment it get busy with orders the whole shop is engulfed with people in the seating area and elsewhere in the cafe making it seemed more cramp. This doesn't seem to be the case with Finjan which is a plus! Service is quite attentive and I never had to wait too long for the coffee or food options to be ready, which ultimately allows me to allocate more time to study instead of waiting for my items. While food is certainly limited on their menus I tried their Monkey Toast and quite liked it, but definitely isn't priced as fairly as it could be considering the size and portions. Their Turkish Coffee (while the beans at the bottom isn't really my favorite aspect of the drink) is still very good, same with the Arab Cold Brew Coffee for something more akin to other coffee spots you might order from in terms of flavor. This place will definitely be on my radar when I'm in the area looking for more unique ethnic coffee options.

Staff is very helpful. They're willing to answer questions. They are also very mindful of the customers patience. I stopped by the other day and ordered the Butter Pecan Iced Latte along with a Knafeh Khishneh. Delicious! I highly recommend the Knafeh Khishneh.

After a great meal at Tahini we made our way to the coffee shop. Iced pistachio latte was not only delicious but it was just right amount of sweetness and coffee. Iced orange mocha was something that brings me back to my childhood the right combination of creamy chocolate and the coffee and ending notes of orange was great. The beautiful people treated me very well even when I had a hard time pronouncing some things. Thank you for being so sweet.

5/5 rating for their karak chai. I asked while ordering if it is close to Indian tea and she confirmed yes. It came in a nice kettle, with 4 cups for sharing and looked so cute and photogenic. It was sweet but not too much. I would say it was very very close to the Indian tea if not exact match. It took around 10 mins but wait was definitely worth it. For the food we got fabo toast and avocado toast. I like the fabo toast more as it was pretty unique with beans spread on it. Avocado toast had little too much balsamic so I found it little bit on Tangier side. Oh and they made fresh baklawa when we got there, we tried one piece and it amazing. MUST TRY.

Finjan, what a delicious tea shop with so many options to ring in Spring! delicious baklava and Karak tea, sugared and creamed to perfection. not much seating but grab a seat at Tahini next door, same owner! a bit expensive, but a fabulous treat.

My friend and I had a great experience at this coffee shop! The inside area is on the smaller side and was quite busy on a Saturday around 12. However there is a ton of outdoor seating. We got the Lebneh toast, Avo toast, Iced Chai, and Vanilla latte. I thoroughly enjoyed the chai (thanks to the other reviewers for the rec) as it was floral and delicious. The toast was good, although i did note the cucumbers seemed a bit dry. Overall a great place to work or catch up with friends over good food and drinks!

This place has been on my bucket list for a while and im so happy I finally tried it! Got the faja bean toast + pistachio latte (no pic rip), both were really good! I would for sure get the pistachio latte again for sure. The staff is friendly, price is pretty decent and there is a lot of seating with outlets! It gets chilly inside though so bring a jacket if you plan on doing work at this cafe. highly reccomend this place!

Went my friends to check out this place because we've never had Turkish coffee before. It's welcoming upon entering and you can smell the delicious coffee. You can see them make the Turkish coffee with their measurements and brewing the coffee in the little copper pot and the sand which is pretty cool! The coffee for me was extremely strong so be careful for those who can't handle the caffeine. It was a bit too strong for me but I can taste the bold and richness of the coffee. The coffee comes in a small cup and is meant to be sipped. I also got the Labne toast (Labne, Zaatar, Persian Cucumber, Grape Tomatoes, Fresh Mint). I really like this one because it reminds me of avocado toast but not. A more refreshing and light because of the Labne (plain yogurt). It gives it an almost whipped cheese taste but tart yogurt flavor. Everything else makes the toast more bright. A great light snack to go with your coffee. I came back another time and checked out their Moroccan mint tea. It was hot and a touch of mint which was nice and refreshing and I liked that it was just the right amount of sweetness

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a regular coffee/tea drinker but I may become one after having Finjan's iced chai. The chai was aromatic and full of flavor. It is SO much better than Starbucks. From the moment you walk in you are hit with the smell of spices and coffee. Their menu has some unique coffees like the one my husband ordered (salted pistachio latte). We tried the salted pistachio latte over ice and it was delicious!! We loved how they use round large ice cubes instead of filling the cup with ice like other coffee shops. The large ice did not water down the drink and kept it cold for longer. The service was fast and the employees were kind. The barista recommended that we try the pistachio baklava with our drinks and let me tell you, that baklava is literally the best baklava I've ever had and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. If you're looking to support a small business and get some damn good coffee then Finjan coffee is the place to go to.

The basbousa latte is the best seasonal drink they have created to date! If you like coconut, this is definitely the drink for you. The baristas are always very friendly and open to giving recommendations. I do wish they would consider removing the fee for half-caff. Another $1.50 on a $7 drink is steep. It's a bit unusual to see since I haven't had to pay extra for half-caff elsewhere.
