So I'm more than a little embarrassed that I haven't posted a review for Finnegan's, especially since we were there in November 2018!
My apologies to Brie...
So we were searching the French Quarter on a Sunday afternoon for a place to watch the Packers game, and while there were a few bars in the area with football games on, none of them were the Packer game!
Even places like Pat 'O Briens (right across the street from Finnegan's) with multiple rooms with multiple TV's were all playing a Seahawks game.
We walked into Finnegan's, a nice, spacious bar just off of Bourbon Street, with maybe a dozen people in the bar and back patio, and asked the bartender (the awesome Brie!) if she would turn on the Packer game.
She responded with a hearty "Of course!" and we searched no more!
The patrons, the drinks, and of course the bartender made for an incredible afternoon! We made new friends, and had a wonderful time.
A HUGE shout out to Wilhelmina, who directed us across the street to the Old Coffee Pot for dinner afterwards, where she's a waitress.
We've been to N'awlins many times, and try to eat at as many new, recommended restaurants as possible, and OCP was a incredibly tasty experience, old school, and the service was excellent as well!
And Wilhelmina, it was a hoot to hang out with you for the afternoon, thank you, you truly are an original!
So I can highly recommend Finnegan's, even if you're not looking for a Packer game on TV!
Brie, Wilhelmina, thank you for the kindness and great time.
