Finz Salem

We were hungry and near Pickering Wharf, so decided upon Finz. The hostesss were so friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Lydia was outstanding. Even though Finz adds celery to its lobster salad, the kitchen made me a lobster roll without the celery! The roll was big, but not outrageously so. Drink were just okay. They seemed a bit sweet. I did not like the clam chowder. It was more like herb-laden potato soup & also had corn. Yuck. Would not get it again. The lobster roll lunch and the playboy roll were very good!

We had a lovely lunch with a beautiful view in late September. The weather was perfect and Katie our server was the best. She was so sweet and gave us some great suggestions. I had my first oyster and it was delicious. We also had clam chowder and it was yummy. My sushi roll was also really good. No complaints from our table. We loved it.

This was the third restaurant I visited for dinner while vacationing in Salem this past week. Even though the weather was a bit on the gloomy side, I opted to sit outside just to get a nice view of the water. My server Meghan was friendly and attentive, and everything I ordered came out fast and fresh. I ordered the pumpkin soup that was on the specials menu and the crab stuffed haddock. Let me tell you....that pumpkin soup was probably one of the best ones I had. They should really put that on their regular menu and not just a special. It is really that great. The main course of the crab stuffed haddock had great flavor and plenty of crabmeat. The whipped potatoes just lacked a little salt, which is an easy fix with a couple of shakes of a salt shaker. Otherwise, the overall meal, including my coconut margarita, was fantastic. They have a very large menu with reasonable prices, with the exception of the sushi they offer, which seems expensive. I checked out the inside of the restaurant while visiting the restroom, and I could see it has a really great vibe. I was very happy with my first dining experience, and I would most definitely eat here again the next time I come to Salem.

We went out to Salem to go on a sailboat trip and we needed to grab lunch. My friend picked this place and was blown away. The views from the deck are amazing and the interior had the best atmosphere. We were greeted and seated within minutes. Our server was super friendly and prompt. The food was superb. I would drive out of my way to come here again.

Everything was amazing. The food, the service and the atmosphere. The food was quick to come out too. Very very good. Got the oysters on half shell, lobster California roll I got the cold Lobster roll and my husband got the hot one. Highly recommend

Finz never lets us down! My sister and I have been waiting all year for our visit just to get the clam chowder here. It’s so delicious! We enjoyed the shrimp starter and sushi. Absolutely yummy! Love the atmosphere. Love the staff. Just an all around good time.

Make sure to check this place out when in Salem! The meals were fantastic, large portions and all of the seafood was very reasonably priced. Photographed here is the Lobster California Roll (cooked), a Baked Stuffed Lobster and the Lobster Roll. — All recommended. We don’t know what they out in those mashed potatoes but they were to die for. The restaurant may need another bartender or two, as they seemed to have been short staffed. Otherwise, everything was great and our group would definitely come back.

Great service and delicious food! We were a relatively large group but the team were flexible and accommodating, our waiter very patient and chilled, even though we were quite indecisive to start with and had guests joining at different points. The sushi selection was mouth-watering!
