Yelp
What a culinary adventure! I would not have found this place on my own. Fiocchi is an Italian-Japanese fusion restaurant that successfully combines the essence of wabi-sabi into every element their design. Located in a south-west borough of Tokyo, this petite restaurant can only seat a total of 25 people at a time. Book ahead of time and prepare yourself for a 4-hour journey into the creative and thoughtful menu designed monthly be the head chef.
It will be difficult for me to critique the food as the menu will be different the next time you go. Fiocchi is known for it's use of game meat like wild deer and mountain pigeon in their dishes. Everything on the plate is edible. The portions, although small, will fill your stomach. 10 courses can be a lot!
We were pleasantly surprised that the senior staff can speak Italian! Bring a friend who can translate the menu into English or just enjoy the comfort and adventure!
