Local and family-owned, Fire Slice bakes crisp, stone-deck pies with smart topping combos and community spirit. The owners’ wine know‑how elevates pairings, while specials nod to Panhandle flavors like green chile cheeseburger pizza.

We were absolutely taken with this place. Great service, drinks, and the pizza…oh my, chefs kiss. My husband and I are in Amarillo as a stop along our road trip and we are thankful to have stumbled across this gem!

Google
We LOVE Fire Slice! The food is delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Sierra and Matt are our favorites … they are absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and always make sure we have everything we need. They are a big reason that we continue to dine there. I highly recommend Fire Slice … and be sure to ask for Sierra or Matt!

Google
Best pizza I have had in awhile. Great service too.

Google
Great place been coming for years. You have to ask for extra sauce and cheese though just FYI! They don't really put much in my opinion. But it's good stuff! Chicken wings are 5 stars!

Google
The Pizza is amazing! You can do a half and half. So everyone gets something. Great selection of beers and don’t skip out on dessert. Shout out to Matt our server. He rocks!

We arrived 2 hours before closing and it took 10 minutes to be seated. Only one in line, maybe 20 guests in the restaurant. We ordered a kids pizza and regular pepperoni, which took 40 minutes after the order to receive. Nothing special about the food, staff was rather rude, ended up being an hour and half waste of time and threw away half the pizza. Received a 'you are full of yourself comment' when the server saw the tip that was left. Go to 575, this place is a regret.

Google
I stopped back in after years of honestly forgetting. This place. Fireslice is hidden off the main roads so I never think of it. The restaurant is not fancy but nice. I came at lunch and there was a whole group sitting at the small bar talking to who I guess was the owner. It’s clearly a very friendly and inviting place. The menu has lots of special pizzas and Italian food. They only serve beer and wine. I chose to make my own pizza and as you can see it’s gorgeous. Honestly, it may be the best crust I’ve ever had on a pizza. Thin, crispy, but soft on the inside. Only beer and wine, no cocktails. $20 for a small pizza that was big enough to satisfy me for two meals.

Google
This was such a great experience for our family of 8 including 4 kids 2 Parents and 2 grandparents. The service was fantastic. The food was so wonderful. You must try the hot honey pizza. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
First time eating here and loved it Our Server Sierra was the sweetest and so attentive! Great service and enjoyed the atmosphere Can't wait to go again for brunch on Sunday!

Yelp
Great pizza and salad. Awesome service (Sierra, Matt and others)! Place is a hidden gem.

Yelp
Ignore Apple Maps, it's behind the shopping center. Great ambiance, welcoming and friendly to everyone. Went on a. Friday around 6pm, lots of families which was nice. Great pizza, I enjoyed my cider and the pink lemonade was good too.

Yelp
Always good. Go at lunch time. Price is right. Heard the wine selection is great! I'm a soda drinker.

Yelp
We want a friday night with some friends, even though it was a packed house, we still received good service, the food was delicious and the ambiance was great.

Yelp
I have been eating at Fire Slice for years! The owners are super friendly and attentive to providing great selection and prices! They update the menu offerings regularly with new items and also have specials monthly and quarterly which are fun. You get to try new things that chain pizza joints never provide. The atmosphere is more quiet and enjoyable than most restaurants and that is a plus when entertaining friends or just wanting to have a nice conversation over your meal. I am a business man and give nice wines to clients and friends that I purchase at Fire Slice. The owner Cody is a level 2 Sommelier and has a deep knowledge of wines and how to pair them best. His wife Gina is well known and loved in the community. Together they are a powerhouse couple who really know how to give back to the Amarillo area people. Great food, great wine, great times....That's what you get at Fire Slice!

Crystal C.

Yelp
Fire Slice Pizzeria is literally my favorite restaurant! We have been eating there regularly for years. The service is exceptional! Matt is extremely friendly and so service oriented! Eric and Melissa are great as well! The food is wonderful from their entrees to the pizzas. The desserts and appetizers are great as well! We highly recommend the spicy cheese curds! The out of the way atmosphere is so welcoming - it allows us to step out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, reconnect and enjoy each other's company over good food. When we ask our adult children if they want to go eat, it is their number one choice of restaurant as well. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Like another reviewer stated, I often travel between OK and NM for work, as well as spend time in the TX panhandle. I discovered Fire Slice about eight years ago, and have made it my go-to spot for Pizza in Amarillo. The food is always well prepared, and the service is always on point. I will never get tired of the green chile cheeseburger pizza. What prompted me to write a review after so long was how Fire Slice went above and beyond for me today. I am on my way home from Albuquerque, and wanted a good pizza for lunch in the worst way. I wasn't going to make it to the restaurant until 5 minutes before they closed for the afternoon. They were happy to let me call my order ahead of time and make sure I could pick it up even if I was a minute or two late. I then had the pleasure of chatting with Cody, the owner for a while as I was eating some of my order at the bar, which sure beats eating off of the tonneau cover of my pick-up! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Please show them some support if you get the chance. You'll be glad you did!

Yelp
I ordered takeout from this location while having an overnight business trip in Amarillo. I think it would've been cool to actually eat there as the place was inviting and the bar looked lively. Overall, the pizza was good, I appreciated being able to split half of it between two different styles. I had the Hula which is essentially a Hawaiian pizza and the other a hot honey pizza on the other. Couldn't really taste the honey but the toppings were generous and overall it was a good pizza. probably would not have ordered a salad as a takeout again as one pack of dressing didn't do the trick.

Yelp
The best lasagna I've had in a long time. And I've been to Italy multiple times. Service was great. Wednesday is half price wine

Yelp
After bailing out of another local place due to very bad service, we went here to have some comfort food. Their pizza was great! It's a hole in the wall, but worth finding if you want a good, thin slice!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, great pizza, not far off the fwy. Located down the BACK ALLEY! (I missed that part and had a little trouble locating.)
google avatar

April G.

Yelp
We got seated immediately. The food was okay nothing super special. But not bad. The marinara sauce was really sweet and the ranch dressing had something in it that made it pinkish.

Yelp
Delicious food. Better than expected. Outstanding service!!!! Peach cake is worth the calories

Yelp
My son and I decided to grab a pizza and some wings. We love to find local places to eat when we are out of town. We pulled up and my son said this place is Sketch because it's in an alley on the back side of a strip mall. Places like this tend to be amazing and they did not disappoint. The service was great and our waiter Matt was fantastic. The atmosphere was Italian dining meets homestyle kitchen. At 7 pm there was no wait but most of the tables were full. We ordered a small cheese pizza, a small Honeybomb pizza, and some traditional BBQ wings. The food came out hot but a tad slow. The bbq wings had a dry rub, not a wet sauce, but the flavor was good and the skin was crispy. The flavor of the honey bomb was perfect. Great marinara sauce, the 3 cheese blend was sharp and smooth, and the jalapenos combined with the sweet hot honey added a sweet hot explosion on the back end. The 3 cheese pizza was very tasty as well. The thin crust was cooked well and had a firm chew that I quite liked. Overall I liked everything about Fire Slice and would definitely recommend a stop here if you have the chance. I will be back next time I'm in Amarillo!

Yelp
We went at 11:00 Saturday morning for my brunch group. It took a long time to get coffee! The majority didn't really like their meal and it took way too long to get it. For ordering pizza, it's probably a great place. but brunch, not so much !

Eugui C.

Yelp
Loved the Cajun Bone in wing haven't had good wings in a while. The pizza was amazing

Yelp
We went back in September of 2023 while visiting our son. Great pizza! Cool atmosphere. Good people with great service.

Erick M.

Yelp
Great service pizza exactly how we wanted it. May be the best pie shop in town. Had a cozy table after being seated promptly. Excellent.

ricardo s.

Yelp
I'm a traveling Electrician throughout NM and Western TX, and this is one if the best pizza I've tasted in awhile. I ordered the Honey Bomb and I wasn't disappointed!

Sunny D.

Yelp
This pizza is SOO good! I've dined in and taken to go. Fav is called Combo. Small can feed two people with no leftovers.

Yelp
My husband and I were passing through Amarillo at lunchtime. I found Fire Slice thanks to my friends on Yelp. It was helpful to know the entrance was in the rear. Melissa was our friendly waitress. This was our first visit. The room was cool and inviting. I had a side salad and The Honeybomb. My husband had The Americana. We were both very pleased with our food. The pizza crust was crispy, chewy. The dessert menu had several selections but we were too full to try one today. We will be returning and saving room for dessert next time.

Yelp
Excellent service and th pizzas are phenomenal. I have been there twice and it was amazing both times. The salad was fresh and we ordered our pizza extra crispy and they delivered. Can't recommend this place more than to say, I will always eat here in Amarillo.
google avatar

Yelp
We went to a wine dinner here for Bella Glos wines and it was outstanding. Maybe the best wine dinner I've ever been to.Cody paired amazing pizza with the wines and we just had the best evening. Great atmosphere!!

Yelp
Best pizza in town IMHO. Good pasta dishes too but a limited selection. Salads are fresh and delicious. Nice choice of beer and wine (full bar). It's clean and inviting and the service is always excellent. We love this place.
google avatar

Shannon J.

Yelp
Really good service waitress was really nice. The food was really good. Had very good desert. I had an amazing experience.

Yelp
We ordered online and the time that the pizza should have been ready came and went. We went inside a second time and were told that they tore the pizza in the oven. So we waited again. She did finally bring it to us in the parking lot. Pizza was not worth the money we paid.
google avatar

Lauren A.

Yelp
Very delicious pizza here and they offer gluten free if I remember correctly. Fun atmosphere that has live music at times and nice employees. Only left a star off because while still good, many of the times I came, the crust was a little burnt on my pizza.

Yelp
First time in Amarillo, decided to visit this restaurant. Got lost, the GPS took me all around. Ended up finding it behind the plaza by the alley. I really liked their original wing sauce. The Calzone was not go my liking it needed more cheese.
google avatar

Gab D.

Yelp
Was passing through town and wanted pizza so we decided to try out Fire Slice! Ordered online and had it delivered to our hotel room and everything was great! We ordered the jalapeño cheese curds, hot mama pizza, and BBQ dry rub wings. I'm not a fan of cheese curds but my family is, however I do have to say these were some of the best ones I've ever had! I loved the spice and the sauce and the cheese was perfectly melted and creamy. The hot mama pizza was great with just the right amount of sauce. The wings were quite delicious too although I didn't really get any BBQ flavor.

Yelp
Server was friendly but food left more to be desired. 4 of us went and most meals were good except mine. Got the Margie with sweet potato fries and it was nasty. Greasy sandwich and the fries tasted like old fryer oil. Could be forgiven except for dessert. We all ordered dessert and all the deserts came with icecream and it was served melted. Ice cream came out like a soup. Can't believe the server gave it to us like that, like seriously. Not impressed overall with this place.

Yelp
Fire Slice brings NYC flavor (and crust ) to Amarillo's city-wide menu. Quality ingredients and incredible textures make this a top pizzeria for Yellow City.

Yelp
Let's start with the positives. The pizza tastes like pizza. It is not bad it is not great just middle of the road. So why the 1 star you might ask. That's because I refuse to eat at a place full of staff and management that do not respect first responders and think it's ok to hurt others. Terrible staff and management. Should be in jail.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
The Calzone tasted great! But it was quite a bit smaller than expected, thus my 4 star rating. I would equate it to maybe 2 pieces of pizza from a medium pie, which definitely was not enough for dinner. Probably a good size to be on a lunch menu, but barely.

Yelp
First, it is located behind the little strip mall. We struggled to find it at first but we called and they told us where to find them. Now on to the restaurant and food. The staff were so kind! Great recommendations on what to try and the specials going on. We ordered to-go two pizzas that the bartender recommended. The bartender spoke to us as we waited and was very friendly. The wait for the food wasn't too long either. Pizzas were hot and fresh. And the bartender was sweet enough to run into the back and get us to-go utensils, plates and napkins knowing that we were eating in our RV. The pizzas were a good size (2 lg), crust delicious and the ratio of sauce to cheese and toppings were great! It is a good size slice NY style pizza with lots of different speciality toppings. They even had a Freddy Mercury pizza on the special board! We had the Mullet and the Honeybomb. Both were delicious! I highly recommend this place lac

Yelp
Was in town for a funeral and ordered to the hotel. Didn't realize till later they charged a $10 delivery fee, but that's possibly on me. The salad was completely rotten. That was hard to get past. Made me wander about the state of the ingredients that my pizza was made with

Lisa G.

Yelp
It was hard to find using Google maps maybe because it was behind the shopping center. But when found the parking was fine and the restaurant was clean, roomy and the service is friendly. We ordered Caesar salad, an original calzone and the cheese ravioli. The salad was tasty and generous to share. The ravioli was good but I thought the marinara could have had a bit more seasoning. The calzone was smaller than expected and the crust was doughy. The extra marinara for the calzone was an extra charge. We are just passing through Amarillo so won't return but might have if we lived here. Liked the ambiance, seems like a fun place to spend time with friends.

Yelp
Stayed in Amarillo a night while driving through. Pizza seemed like the perfect meal after a day of driving, but I was just told recently I need to cut gluten out my diet (boooo). But I did not give up hope, and thankfully this place came in clutch with the Califlower crust option. I was a little worried, because this was my first time having califlower crust pizza, I decided to go with the margherita.... and it was awesome! Still crunchy, almost reminded me of a thin crust pizza. I really enjoyed it (ate the whole thing myself in record breaking time lol). I had a hard time finding the place when going to pick up my food, turns out it's behind all the businesses, like in the alley! The place was super cool inside as well for those looking to dine in, it's a good option as well.

Yelp
Ordered a pizza, calamari, and a salad online. It was a 45 minute time for pickup and we arrived at around 55 minutes anticipating a little delay. After arriving my husband went in to grab the food and waited for over 30 minutes. The people didn't even realize that we had ordered/saw the order come through but instead of telling him that they kept telling him it would be 5 minutes or it was almost ready for the entire 30 minutes he was there. The restaurant was not busy so it wasn't acceptable for this kind of service. Not even giving the food a chance because it's ridiculous that they operate this way. Maybe they're better for dine in but do not order pick up here if you value your time at all. (We ordered food at 5:55 the e-mail said it would be ready at 6:40 and we arrived at 6:50 and got our food at 7:25.)
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Top quality ingredients and great service Hard to find but worth the adventure down the back alley
google avatar

Ruth D.

Yelp
With tax it came out to over $18. Yep, one very small looking 12 inch cheese and Canadian bacon pizza. It was a soggy slimy mess. The extra marinara was hard to find and the taste was similar to no salt tomato sauce, and not the good stuff. The watered down store brand. The edge of the crust was good but for that kind of money, I could have gotten 3 Little Ceasars pizzas for the same disappointment.
google avatar

Ted L.

Yelp
Great food and service The lasagna was awesome . Our server,Matt, was very courteous and attentive to our needs. We will return.
google avatar

Jack L.

Yelp
Pizza was good, delivery went well. I liked the crust, which isn't the case most places. I took away one star because it is very expensive, I think they should lower prices or make the pizza more "Texas sized" if you know what I mean. Go here for an elevated, gourmet option, take your big hungry family elsewhere.
google avatar

Kirby W.

Yelp
My wife and I come here at least every other week. Pizza is very good service is good and many choices for toppings - one of the best pizza places in town!! Check them out!!!
google avatar

Terrie F.

Yelp
Great food, cool atmosphere. Restaurant is hidden in a back alley so it's like a hidden gem! I would definitely come here again.
google avatar

Susie M.

Yelp
Appears to be closed.... Maybe temporarily. The parking lot looks like it's being replaced and there are multiple papers on the door. Since the whole parking lot was roped off with caution tape, we couldn't see what the papers on the door said. I attempted to call and no one picked up.
google avatar

John A.

Yelp
Great pizza! I was surprised considering it's in a hotel. It could be improved with some more options to choose from.
google avatar

Paul J.

Yelp
This is the place to go if you are looking for that classic brick oven pizza. The crust is fantastic and the toppings are nearly endless. You also get the choice of several sauces. Pizzas come in either small or large - Go ahead and get the large because you are going to want to take some home with you. Wait staff is very friendly and checked on us often.

Harley C.

Yelp
3 pizza's ....carryout....$80....hardley any toppings and barely any cheese on pizza. used to be my fav. not anymore
